Ch34 - Wish You Were Here Pt4

Emma's PoV

"I Emma come on, this isn't you. There has to be some part of you, that knows that...Please! Damn it!"

With that she was gone, what did she mean by this isn't me? I also couldn't wrap my head around, being friends with her, sharing a son and what she meant when she said, my parents aren't actually my parents.

I stared at my parents, who looked concerned; my father placed his hand on the back of my head, before kissing my forehead.

My mother smiled softly, before we made our way back to our castle; we couldn't worry about the Evil Queen now, we had something more important to do, Henry's knighthood ceremony.

When we arrived, I noticed that everyone had gathered; as my parents and I made our way to the centre of the room, my mind was elsewhere.

My mother grabbed my hand, speaking as she did.

"Everything is going to be fine, we defeated the Evil Queen once before; we'll do it again, let's just focus on Henry's big day"

I smiled, before speaking.

"I don't know what I'd do without you two"

She smiled at me, and I returned it; just as Henry's arrival was announced.

"Presenting, His Royal Highness Prince Henry"

Fanfare sounded throughout the room, as the guards opened the doors; Henry appeared, as he walked towards us.

I smiled again, before speaking.

"Look at him, he looks so grown up"

Everyone bowed, as he continued to walk towards us; my mother drew my fathers sword, as he walked up the steps, before coming to a stop in front of us.

He kneeled, my mother then spoke.

"Do you Prince Henry, undertake to accept; the accolade of knighthood?"

He looked up at us, as he spoke.

"I do"

My father spoke.

"And will you conduct yourself, in all manners; as befits a knight of this realm?"

Henry smiled at me, as he spoke again.

"I will"

My mother spoke again.

"It is with pride in our hearts, that we; Queen Snow, and King David of the Enchanted Forest, do dub you..."

The doors opened again, and there was a collective gasp; Henry stood up, as The Evil Queen approached us.

She spoke.

"Sorry I'm late"

She glided across the floor, as she made our way towards us; Doc spoke.

"It's the Queen! Run!"

Two guards made their way forward, to stop her from getting to us; only to be thrown across the room, my mother spoke.

"She's not the Queen anymore!"

The Queen spoke, as she froze my parents.

"Look at them, missing out on this...happy...happy day; I vow to destroy their happiness, if it is the last thing I do"

She looked at me, was she really going to destroy their happiness? I spoke, fear evident in my tone; as I did.

"Please. Don't hurt my parents"

She looked at me, as she spoke again.

"Oh, but you see; hurting them, is the point. Unless you know of some hero, who can stop me"

Hero? Was she talking about me? How could I stop her? She watched me, as she paced back and forth; I spoke, as I kneeled down.

"Mercy, please"

I heard her scoff, before she spoke.

"Look for that hero...Princess. And when you find one, you know where to find us"

Why does she think, I'll find a hero? What has she got planned? I stood up, as she vanished; taking my parents with her.

Henry spoke.

"Mom. What do we do?"

I spoke.

"Don't worry kid, I have this"

I rushed out of the room, apologising to everyone as I left; I had an idea, as I made my way through the castle. If I gave her the key, to our castle; then she'd have no choice but to free my parents.

I found it, before leaving; and then making my way to the Queen's castle, the journey seemed to take forever. When I got there, box in hand; I made my way up the staircase, my nerves getting the best of me, as I got closer to where she was.

I heard my father speak, but I couldn't quite make out what he was saying; I could hear the Queen answer him, as I got closer.

She was counting on my parents to defeat her? I made my way towards them, speaking as I did.

"Don't worry, she's not going to hurt you; it's going to be ok"

I stood there, face to face with the Queen; she smiled at me, as she spoke.

"I knew you'd find, the hero in you; now...let's get this over with"

She produced a fireball, as I walked closer toward her; she spotted the box in my hands, she spoke again.

"What is that? Some kind of weapon?"

I bowed, while opening the box; I spoke.

"The key to our kingdom, it is now yours; Your Majesty, we surrender"

I kept my head down, as she spoke again.

"Seriously?"

I answered.

"Anything, to protect my parents"

The fireball disappeared, as she spoke.

"Emma, I don't want the key to your kingdom; I just..." she paused, as she threw the key away; she turned away, while continuing. "I just want you to remember, who you are and get you back to Storybrooke"

Did she just say, Storybrooke? I spoke.

"Storybrooke? Like in my dream?" How did she know about that? I continued. "How do you know of my dreams?"

She turned around, facing me again; she then spoke.

"Oh come on, Emma. This! This, is the dream!" She made a sweeping gesture, as she continued. "And now, I have to wake you up; I know you won't believe it, Emma so...I really am sorry about this"

She moved, before standing in front of my parents; she ripped their hearts out, as I watched on. She held them out, in front of her; I spoke.

"I...I already gave you, the Kingdom; I gave you everything, what more can I do?"

I dropped to my knees, despair ran through me; as she spoke again.

"Be the Saviour, and stop me"

The Saviour? I'm not a Saviour, I stuttered as I spoke.

"I'm..."

The Queen spoke.

"If not, your parents die!"

She squeezed their hearts, tears filled my eyes; as they groaned, their pain pierced my own heart. I spoke, through the tears.

"I'm not a hero, I...I'm not this Saviour"

The Queen answered.

"Yes you are, I know you Emma; you fight, when it matters. You always do, right now; you need to fight!"

She punctuated her statement, with another tightening grip on my parent's hearts; I spoke again.

"No, please!"

I could hear the frustration, in the Queen's tone; as she spoke.

"Oh come on, Ms Swan!"

I answered, her.

"I don't know, how"

She crouched down, as she got into my face; she then spoke.

"You don't want their blood, on your hands; do you?"

I shook my head, as I answered.

"No"

I couldn't help it, as the tears; grew, falling down my face, as she spoke once again.

"Do you?"

Before I could answer, she crushed their hearts; I screamed.

"No"

I glanced at my parents, who were now dead; I spoke again.

"No, no, no!"

Sobs wracked through me, as I kept repeating myself; what have I done? I heard the Queen speak.

"You really, don't remember; do you?"

Why would I want to remember? I stayed on the floor, as she continued.

"You really couldn't fight me"

I tried to stop the tears, but I couldn't; I heard someone enter, speaking as they did.

"She may not have fought, but I will"

Henry? No, he can't be here; he can't defeat her, it's too risky. He spoke again, as he faced the Queen.

"You murdered my grandparent, and for that you will pay!"

She spoke.

"Oh no Henry, I..."

How did she know, his name?

I spoke, as I got up off the ground. "Henry! Henry!" I stood beside him, as he spoke. "It's ok mom, I have to do this" I answered. "No!"

He moved, turning to face the Queen again; she started to back away, as he got closer. She spoke to him again.

"I won't hurt you Henry"

He answered her.

"But I will hurt you"

She sighed, before taking a breath; she closed her eyes, just as Henry launched his sword at her. I spoke, panic in my tone; as I did. "Henry, stop!"

He froze, as did the sword; my eyes opened, as I realised that I did that. I stopped Henry, but how did I?...

The Queen looked at me, her expression one of relief; I stared at my hand again, what just happened? Did I?...Do I have magic?

The Queen spoke.

"Emma?"

I sighed, what the hell was going on? She spoke again.

"You saved me"

I sighed, as everything came flooding back; I spoke.

"Yeah well, you came to this crazy land; to save me, so it's only fair right?"

I wiped my tears away, as Regina spoke.

"You remember?"

I nodded, as I answered.

"Yeah, I remember..." I stood behind Wish Henry, as I continued. "When you couldn't hurt Henry...he was about to actually kill, and become everything I never wanted him to be. That's when I knew"

Regina smiled at me, my gaze turned towards my wish parents; I spoke.

"Are they..."

Regina quickly explained.

"Oh, they're not real; I didn't actually kill anyone"

I sighed, as I answered.

"Yeah I know, you just needed to wake me; thank you, although that was...very dark"

She smiled at me again, before sighing; I grabbed the sword, which was still mid air. I looked at it, before speaking.

"Come on, let's go stop the real Evil Queen"

She nodded, before we turned to leave; I went to unfreeze Wish Henry, when Regina stopped me. She spoke.

"Don't worry, he'll be fine; the spell will wear off, when we leave this realm"

I nodded, as we left; my eyes widened, as I remembered my parents and Killian. I spoke.

"What about my parents?...is everyone ok?"

Regina sighed, before answering.

"David's fine, Snow's still sleeping; they're both fine, and so are Guyliner and our real son"

I sighed, before asking the more important question.

"How are we getting home? Is there some kind of spell?"

Regina sighed, before answering.

"I'm not sure, but we will find a way"

I nodded again, as we tried to find a way home...
