Ch47 - The Proposal

I stood up, the ring; still in my hand, as I made my way downstairs...

I made my way towards him, while trying to contain my excitement; I moved in closer, as I wrapped my arms around him, speaking as I did.

"There you are!"

I stood back slightly, as I tasted rum, on his lips; I thought he was switching to water, you know after my encounter with his wish realm counterpart?

I spoke again.

"Oh wow! Captain Morgan; I thought, we were switching to water"

He looked at me, still not saying anything; maybe he was nervous, he then spoke.

"I'm afraid, it wouldn't give me the courage; I need, you see there's something I need to tell you...it's just what I have to say, isn't exactly...easy and I'm not sure, how you're gonna react"

Wow! He really is nervous, I smiled softly; before I spoke.

"Well, maybe I can make it easier...and tell you, that my answer would be yes"

He looked at me, with a perplexed look on his face; I ruined his plan, great going Emma! He spoke, his tone; laced with confusion.

"Yes? I...What was the question?"

I answered, knowing it was better to tell the truth.

"I might have found something, in your sea chest; that I shouldn't have..." I held the ring, in my hands; our gazes drifted toward it, as he sighed.

Yeah, I definitely ruined his plan; I spoke again, this time barely above a whisper.

"Are you mad at me?"

He spoke.

"No, how could I ever be mad at you?"

I answered.

"It's just you and me, no walls...no secrets" I placed the ring in his hand, before continuing. "I know I ruined the surprise...but what do you say?"

I glanced up at him, as he stared at me; he smiled, before moving. I gasped internally, as he got down on one knee; this was happening, Captain Hook was proposing...to me, of all people.

He spoke again.

"Emma Swan...will you marry me?"

I peered down, as he slipped the ring onto my finger; I waited until it was secure, before pulling him up. I kissed him, as I answered.

"Yes, Killian. Yes!"

I broke the kiss, before hugging him; I'm engaged...to Captain Hook, yeah I didn't see that coming. I pulled back, before speaking.

"So...we're engaged"

He smiled, before speaking.

"Yes love, we are"

I grinned, before pulling him into another kiss; this one a little longer, than the previous one. We stood there, for what seemed like forever; when he moved back slightly he cleared his throat, before speaking.

"If you don't like the ring, I can always..."

I cut him off, before speaking.

"No, it's beautiful; I love it, and I love you"

He smiled, as he spoke again.

"And I, you; my love"

I smiled again, before peering at the ring; as I watched the diamond glinting in the faint light. Holy crap, I'm engaged; I have a wedding to start plan, but how am I going to plan a wedding, when my parents are still under a sleeping curse?

And there's still the Evil Queen to deal with, and Belle and Golds son; I guess, I can always ask my mom to help, since her wedding happened during Regina's reign of terror.

I glanced up at Killian, who was now staring at the ring; he probably had an amazing proposal planned out, and I ruined it, by finding the ring.

I spoke.

"Are you sure, you're not mad? I mean, you probably had a plan"

He glanced at me, before speaking.

"No love, I promise I'm not mad; everything worked out in the end. I mean, you said yes, didn't you?"

I smiled, why can't I stop smiling? Maybe it's because, I'm engaged; and I'm finally on track to getting my happy ending, I didn't think it was possible, because I'm the Saviour.

And saviours, don't usually get happy endings; I stood back, before speaking again.

"You're right, did say yes; so what would you say, to going upstairs and celebrating?"

He smirked, before he swept me up into his arms; as he made our way upstairs, the bedroom door already open. My heart fluttered, as he set me gently onto the bed; before he moved to help me undress, caressing the skin that was exposed with every piece of clothing that was removed.

Once I was undressed, save for my underwear; he stood up, before removing his own clothes. My gaze roaming over his body, as he undressed; my heart raced, as he finally removed his jeans.

His generous length, already at full mast; I watched, as his jeans finally hit the floor, grinning as they did. He smirked at me, as he climbed back onto the bed; I reached out to him, sighing as he took me into his arms, before rolling me back onto the bed.

I moaned softly, as he buried his head into my neck; I squirmed, as his teeth made contact with the skin between my neck and shoulder.

He bit down gently, as my head lolled back; allowing him more access, I tugged at his hair, as I tried to get him to move; he growled softly, against my throat.

His hand, began to move down my side; I tried to keep still, as it found it's way to my hip. I tilted them, while silently encouraging him.

He grinned at me, as he he gently pried my thighs open; before stroking my inner thigh, as he slowly made his way up to where I needed him...
