The director calls the dorm telling the BB of an emergency assembly. Saori has been contacted, and he instructs them not to sneak out. He tells them to expect a call from her on the weekend. The BB is so upset that they refuse to eat bento boxes for the day. Saori has supplied them with breakfast, lunch, and dinner boxes for about two months. Some remember being served these as kids at the Kido mansion before going for training overseas. Shun eats bento alone for dinner.
The weather for today is sunny.
The BB reunited in the lounge without a uniform, receives a call from Mitsuru. Seiya picks up the phone behind the counter.
Seiya (phone) Hello?
Mitsuru (phone) Thank goodness you picked up. It's me, Mitsuru. Long story short, the school held an emergency assembly meeting regarding... yesterday. Miss Kido has been notified, and we both agree you should stay in the dorm. So if you're thinking of dropping out, you can forget it. Expect a call from me tomorrow morning. Seiya sighs and hangs the phone too.
Hyoga - We can't leave, we can't drop out, and all we have are box lunches. I wonder how long they will last.
Shiryu - We have about two months' supply.
Ikki - I don't remember the old hag saying that.
Shiryu - It's in the kitchen notes.
Seiya (climbs stairs) Whatever! I don't feel like eating. I'm just going to lock myself in my room until tomorrow.
Hyoga - I think we're going to do the same thing.
They nod, and hours pass. However, Shun eats a box lunch alone in the partially lit dining area. He has been sitting there for a while.
Shun - It's pretty quiet here... Hmm, I remember being served these back at the mansion when we were little.
Shun has a flashback to his childhood at the mansion, where the trainees are demanded to eat the food served on a plastic plate.
Hyoga (off voice) I'm not going to eat whatever the heck that is!
Tatsumi (off voice) Refusal is not an option! You're going to eat, period!
Shun stares at his food as Ikki calls him out.
Ikki - Are you okay, Shun?
Shun (smiles) I am, Big Brother.
He takes his time, eating one bite at a time.
