Holiday, no classes. The BB is overwhelmed by riding the train to Shibuya and heading to the store. The boutique is owned by Chihiro's parents, with Chihiro present and waiting. Shun introduces them to her. Chihiro escorts the boys to the basement, filled with rows of clothes, shoes, and accessories. She tells them to take as many as they like since they were meant for charity. She tells them they cannot spend three years in school wearing a "super limited wardrobe." Then after selection, Chihiro ships five boxes (one for each BB) to the dorm. The boxes will arrive tomorrow.
The weather for today is sunny.
This week begins the May chapter.
The five BBs are at the station waiting for the subway to Shibuya. They're looking at the timetable.
Seiya – So where's Shibuya?
Shun – It should be listed...
Hyoga (points) Is that it?
Shiryu – Definitely says, Shibuya.
Seiya – Great! Let's go!
The boys tap their IDs to gain access. They enter the first train that comes, but they find themselves shoved. After a crowded ride, they exit in a pack and drop to the floor.
Seiya (whines) Tokyo trains are crowded!
After getting up, they exit Shibuya Station.
Seiya – This is Shibuya? It's so packed!
Shiryu – What are you looking at, Ikki?
Ikki – That dog statue got my attention.
Hyoga (reads) Ha-chi-ko...
Shun (pulls out card) We must look for the 801 building.
As they walk, some panic at people coming from all directions while crossing the busy street.
Ikki – What's with people coming from all over?
Hyoga (gasps) Is this normal?
Shiryu – Think of it as a crossroad intersection.
Seiya (looks up) that's the building. Right, Shun?
Shun (double checks) Right! That's the building.
Seiya – Wow, that was easy. It's right in front of us.
The BBs enter the 801 building, a mall filled with many clothing stores.
Shun - Now we need to find Chihiro-san's store. It's on the upper floor...
The boys approach an escalator, but...
Hyoga – Moving stairs... They exist?
Shun (gestures) We can take normal stairs.
They're finally at the store "Chi Maru-Q," enter, and are immediately greeted by a cheerful employee.
Employee (bows) Welcome to Chi Maru-Q! Enjoy your visit!
Seiya (startled) Thanks?
Chihiro then shows up.
Chihiro – Shun-san, you're here, and you brought your friends.
Shun – Of course! These are my friends: Seiya, Shiryu, Hyoga, and my brother, Ikki. We share the same class and live in a dorm.
Chihiro (waves) I'm Chihiro Rise. Nice to meet you.
Shiryu (bows) Nice to meet you too, Chihiro-san.
Chihiro (low tone) Ooh, so polite.
Hyoga – You own this store?
Chihiro – Hold on a minute! I'm only in high school. I can't manage until I'm over 18. Until then, the store manager handles this place. Although sometimes I help out when there are no classes.
Shun – Chihiro-san's parents are designers.
Chihiro – My parents own this store, so we only sell their creations. But sometimes we sell those of affiliate designers. With that said, let's go to the basement. I have this great surprise waiting for you.
Chihiro escorts the boys to the basement, where they enter a large storage room filled with clothes.
Hyoga – That's a lot of clothes.
Chihiro – Of course! That's for all of you.
Ikki – What?
Chihiro – Exactly what I said.
Seiya (confused) Okay, why?
Chihiro – You're going to need them. Listen, I'm going back upstairs. Pick whichever you want and put them in those boxes. Try them on, too, if you like. I'll drop by every now and then to check up on you.
Shiryu – Okay, but why do you assume we need them?
Chihiro (sighs) We thought about giving them to charity. Shun-san talked about how you're having trouble with school. You want to gain students' trust, do you? Then you need to look the part.
Chihiro retreats, leaving the boys to select the clothes.
Seiya – A lot of this sounds off...
Shun – But we don't want to waste Chihiro-san's offer.
They stare at rows of men's clothing hanging from wall to wall.
Hyoga (sighs) There are so many choices.
Shiryu – Not only are there clothes but lots of shoes.
Shun (holds jewelry) And accessories!
Ikki – Do you think Chihiro knows who we are? She brought us here because she said we need new clothes but... Is that really it?
Hyoga – Especially when she was about to donate...
Shiryu – Let's trust that she already planned this ahead of time.
Seiya – Okay, let's take the clothes and see if her offer pays off.
Shun – As long as we gain student trust, that's all that matters.
Hours pass, and Chihiro returns to check on the boys. She discovered that all the rows of clothes were kept in five big cardboard boxes.
Chihiro (surprised) Wow, you guys finished!
Seiya – Yep, everything's done. We're going to carry them to our dorm.
Shun – Wait, Seiya! It's best to leave them to Chihiro-san.
Chihiro – I'll arrange the shipping so they can arrive at your dorm tomorrow morning. Five boxes. I'll take you back to the store floor. (pivots) Hey! Thanks for coming. You're still free to shop here, though.
Once Chihiro escorts them back, the boys return to the dorm.
The BBs finally have new clothes, so no more wearing the same clothes they've been wearing since forever. So starting tomorrow, they'll wear their new clothes whenever they hangout. This includes the dorm with loungewear. I'll let you know their fashion preferences later on.
