Beating the boulder
After three days of rigorous training (two for his older pokemon one for kabuto) Ash and his Pokemon were ready to take on the Pewter City Gym Leader
"Pikachu i can't use you in this but in the next gym i'll be using you" After he said that Misty gave him a odd look
In The Pewter City Gym
"I am Ash Ketchum challenger from Pallet town" Ash declared
"How many badges do you have?" the Gym leader asked
"It's my first" Ash said while rubbing the back of his head
"This will be a two on two battle for boulder badge agents Pewter city gym leader Brock VS Challenger from Pallet town Ash" The Gym referee called out
"Go Geodude" Brock let out his Pokemon
"Go Riolu" The Emanation Pokémon ran on to the rocky battlefield
"Geodude use defence curl" Geodude curled up in a ball
"Riolu Bulk up" Riolu glowed red and grew slightly bigger and went back to normal
"Geodude use Rock tomb" Geodude started throwing rocks at Riolu
"Riolu use Force plam to deflect the rock tomb" Riolu paws started glowing red and started smacking away the rocks
"Dig" Brock called out and Geodude rapidly started digging
Riolu started panicking at not seeing his target
"Riolu calm down and use your to detect the location of Geodude" Riolu just closed his eyes and noded
Through aura Riolu was able to the life energy of every one around him and Geodude was directly underneath him just before Geodude could attack him he jumped to side and opened his eyes
"Now Force palm" Riolu jumped forward and gave a brutal palm strike to geodude
"Geodude Dig again"
"No Don't let him use Quick attack"Just as Geodude was starting to dig Riolu blurred in front of Geodude and punched him
"Geodude fainted Riolu wins" The referee called out
Brock returned his Geodude
"Go Onix" Brock let out his rock snake
"That's one big snake"Ash commented
"Riolu can you continue"
"Round two Onix VS Riolu"Referee called out
Riolu noded
"Onix rock slide"
"Get ready and use Quick attack and turn it to Force palm" Onix threw many big rocks towards Riolu, Riolu was quickly dodging the rock and went close to the rock snake and attacked it by a palm strike
"Onix wrap" Onix wrapped it's tail around Riolu and started squeezing
Ash tried to recall him but he wasn't able to
Brock was staring at ash word lessly
Ash looked down and said "I..i forfeit Riolu"
Onix released Riolu Ash and Pikachu ran to catch him with tears in his eyes
"You did a great job now rest" Ash said
"Good choice now let's continue our battle" Brock said without any changes in his expression
Ash went back to his podium and let out his Kabuto
"Round three Onix VS Kabuto"Referee called out
"Kabuto harden" Kabuto glowed green
"Onix Rock throw" Onix threw a big rock at Kabuto
"Go in hole" Kabuto jumped in that Goedude made
"Onix go in to" Ash smirked as Onix made even bigger hole
"Auqa jet" Onix came out of the hole Kabuto following it covered in water
Brock muttered something underneath his breath
"Onix Tackle" Onix headbuted Kabuto and Kabuto latched on to Onix's head
"Just what i wanted use harden and abroad" Kabuto was stuck on Onix's head, Kabuto was glowing green and Onix was roaring in pain
On matter how much Onix try it can't get Kabuto off it
Ash smirked while looking at Brock
Brock's stoic facade finally faded and smiled as well "i forfeit Onix"
"Onix has been forfeited Kabuto is the winner" referee said
Kabuto jumped on ash's head and Brock recalled Onix
"You did a great job Kabuto"
"You're clever Ash but you are new trainer right?" Brock asked
"Yes why?" Ash questioned
"How did you get a fossil Pokemon?" Brock asked
"Ohh~ that near the opening of Pewter City a man named Flint was selling racks and same racks were fassils" Ash said
"Flint hah~ Anyway here is your TM 39 Rock tomb and the Blouder badge, Thanks for the great battle"Brock gave ash the TM and the badge
"Yeah one more question when are going?" Brock questioned
"We are going towards Mt.Moon tomorrow morning why?"Ash asked
"I think i am gonna come with you if it is ok with you?"Brock asked
"It's okay but why?" Ash asked
"I'll tell you later"Brock said
Misty came up to Ash and fan girled over him
Kabuto on his head Pikachu on his shoulder Riolu in his hands and a girl all over his it was wired seen
The next day
"Hey Ash" Brock said
"So~ my explanation" Ash said
Brock sweat dropped and said "Oh that"
"Well Flint is my dead beat dad he is the real gym leader he put his family and responsibility on me when i wanted to be a breeder" Brock explained
"Welcome to the team Brock" Ash said
They were Outside of Pewter City
"Now let's get going" Ash said while looking at the direction of MT.Moon
