While lost in the forest,AshPikachu and Riolufound a group of Tech students quizzingJoe, who was also a student. Whenever he got a question wrong, or failed to answer, the speed of the treadmill he was on increased.
Joe explained to Ash andhis friendall about the school.Mistytook offense when Joe said that he is still better than someone with twoBadges. Determined to prove the battle simulator wrong, Misty then challenged him to abattle, where herStarmiedefeated Joe'sWeepinbell, aGrassPokémon which had an advantage against aWater type.
Angry with howGiselle, the top student in the Beginner Class, was treating Joe, Misty stormed off to find her. When she did, they had a battle where Giselle used aGravelerto defeat Misty's Starmie without a problem.
Ash also battled Giselle with Pikachu. She was stunned when theElectric typedefeated herGround typeCubone. It was then that Giselle came to a realization: not everything about Pokémon battling can be learned in school. Joe, as a result of seeing what happened that day, decided to return to his home and begin his journey like Ash did.
"Brock where are we"Misty asked
"Umm~ we are in a forest"Brock said while sweating
"I CAN SEE THAT BUT WHAT FOREST ARE IN !"Misty yelled
"I don't know where we are"Brock in small voice
"How about we rest here"Ash said
Ash and the others were resting near a pond just then Ash spotted a Oddish drinking from the pond
"Look it's a Oddish !"Ash exclaimed
"I'm going to catch it"Misty said
"Go Staryu water gun"Misty let out her ster fish Pokemon
But just as staryu sent a water gun at oddish a Blue frog with a blub intersected the attack and they both ran away in forest
"That was a Bulbasaur i wanted to catch it"Ash said in disappointment
A few minutes later
Now our group has came up to old looking bridge
"Is it safe?"Misty asked
"I think"Brock replied
Pikachu and Riolu jumped from Ash's shoulders and crossed the bridge
"If you say so"Ash said and followed his Pokemon
Both Misty and Brock followed him just as they reached the middle of the bridge the wood cracked underneath Brock's foot ,Just as he was about to take another step the wood broke and he fell down
Ash and Misty reached the other side and it all happen Misty started crying and Ash said "We need get to the end of the river i know he won't die that easily" The four them went inside the forest in screch of their friend
some the later Ash and Misty came up to a tree Misty went near the tree to rest but suddenly a net trapped them from underneath them
"Hey who did this"Misty said
"Try to your Pokeballs"Ash said
Ash's hands grabed on to something
"Misty i think got my Pokeball but it's strange"Ash said
unknown to Ash Misty had a bright blush on her and she meekly asked"S strange h how?"
"It's soft and i can squeeze it all day"Ash said
"Thatsnotapokeball"Misty said
"What ? i didn't hear you"Ash asked blushing
Unknown to Misty Ash heared it and not wanting to make things complicated he lied
"I said..."After a long moment of silence Misty said her face bright red"D d do y y you l like it"
"yeah but think its empty"Ash said
"Can't Riolu and Pikachu can do thing?"Misty asked still red
"No with such close proximity to us we'll get harmed"Ash said
"So we'll have to wait then"Misty said
After that no one said anything
After a long time of waiting
They are found in this state by the Bulbasaur. Ash speculates that Brock has been washed to sea and shanghaied by pirates; moments later, Brock appears and frees them from the trap. Brock relays his river experience and the fact that he was rescued from the rapids by a girl. Brock takes them to a village and introduces them to a girl, named Melanie.
"So~ you are some kind Pokemon doctor or something"Ash said
"No i am not a doctor i just the injured Pokemon and after they're healed they go in the wild"Melanie said
"So what about bulbasaur he looks fine to me"Ash stated
"He is the protector of this village but sometimes i think he does to good of job sometimes"Melanie said
"What do you mean?"Ash asked
"The Pokemon here feel so safe that even after they got healed they don't go in the wild"Melanie said
"I know what you mean"Ash said
suddenly they heard a commotion out side
Team Rocket were there on their hot air balloon was a big vacuum and they were sucking all the Pokemon from the village
"Pikachu stop you'll hurt the Pokemon too"Ash said as he was about to shock the balloon
"Bulbasaur i need your help in helping all the Pokemon here will you help me"Ash asked
Bulbasaur nodded
"Use your vine whip to latch on vacuum Riolu use the vines to detach the vacuum from the balloon and use Rock tomb on the balloon"Ash instructed
just as Ash said Bulbasaur's vines latch on the vacuum and Riolu ran on the vines he climbed on the vacuum,
he detached it from the balloon and gave thumbs up to Ash,
Ash let out his Pidgeotto and instructed her to use wing attack on vacuum and all the in vacuum came out
Riolu used Rock tomb on the balloon and a sound "Team Rocket blast of again"
Melanie came up Ash to and said "Ash how would you like if Bulbasaur come with you"
"Why? and if Bulbasaur wanted then I'll be glad for it"Ash said
"Bulbasaur needs to grow but if he stays here his bulb will not"Melanie said
"If Bulbasaur wants to-"just as he said Bulbasaur made a raming gesture
"So you wanna battle"Ash said and Bulbasaur nodded
"Go Pikachu"Pikachu jumped on ground
Bulbasaur used Leech seed on Pikachu but Pikachu used Iron tail to bat the seed away
"Pikachu use Lightning shroud" yellow electricity covered Pikachu and Pikachu nearly disappeared from human and Pokemon eye and Bulbasaur fainted and Pikachu was just as if not more injured then Bulbasaur
"Go pokeball"Ash threw a pokeball at Bulbasaur,Bulbasaur turned into red energy it shook ones,twice,thrice and ding and Bulbasaur's pokeball disappeared
"Ahh i forgot i already have six Pokemon"Ash said to himself
"Pikachu are you alright?"Ash asked
Pikachu gave a thumbs up
"Ash what was that?"Misty asked
"Yeah we didn't see you use that"Brock said
"That was Lightning shroud normally Pikachu uses his electricity out side his body but in Lightning shroud Pikachu uses his electricity to not only increase his speed but all his senses and even his strength but he can't control it properly just yet"Ash explained
"Thats impressive but maybe it's because of Pikachu is well a Pikachu and not a Raichu and they're able generate and control way more electricity then a Pikachu or most electric type"Brock said while rubbing him chin
"Yes i think so to so in order to control Lightning shroud Pikachu have to evolve"Ash said
And after that our group headed towards Vermilion City
