Chapter 1-Broken Souls
This takes place two weeks after Mount Weather. Jaha and Murphy never left. Wells is still alive, and that is about it. Wells being alive will be explained later.
Murphy's P.O.V
Murphy punches the guard after he made a comment about his father. The guard swings at Murphy, who ducks and punches him in the face. Murphy grabs the guard by his clothes and hits him multiple times before Bellamy and Kane pull them apart. "Lock him up," Kane says as he looks at Murphy. The guards take him to lockup.
Murphy sat down as Kane walked into the holding room with a bag in his hand. "Better than being floated, I guess," Murphy says in a bitter tone.
"It is," Kane says as he sits down. "We let you go after everything you did to the hundred. To Raven and the kids you killed. Now you attacked a guard, Murphy. This bag has enough supplies to last you a little bit," Kane pulls out a knife and a gun. "These are yours. There are three clips in the bag," Kane hands them to Murphy, who grabs them.
"Thanks," Murphy says as he stands up and grabs the bag. He walks to the door, which opens, and walks out of Alpha station. He gives Bellamy and Wells a nod. He walks out the gate and towards the woods.
Murphy's P.O.V.
Murphy walked through the woods of Earth with a knife, a bag, and a handgun with three clips. He sighs as he feels the hot sun beating down on him. He had to watch out for grounders though he knew there was a chance they wouldn't attack him. He sits down on a log and lays his back on it. He closes his eyes. He sat there for about an hour before he stood up and kept walking through the woods. He walks to the bunker and opens the hatch. He drops down inside and shines his flashlight around. He sets his bag down and lays down.
The Next day
Murphy opens his eyes as the hatch opens. He pulls his gun out as Raven and Bellamy drop into the bunker. "What are you two doing here? Come here to kill me?"
"As enjoyable as that sounds, no. We want to help you," Bellamy says. Murphy glances at them.
"No thanks," Murphy says as he grabs his bag. "I'll be fine on my own,"
"Murphy, you are out here on your own, and we don't know the grounders' next move," Bellamy says. "Clarke is out here too,"
"Then go find her," Murphy says.
"We tried," Raven says.
"Should you even be traveling?" Murphy asks.
"It would be easier if you weren't an asshole," Raven says.
"I said I was sorry," Murphy tells her as he sits down on the bed. "Look, I appreciate the thought, but I'll be fine. You guys worry about Clarke, and I'll worry about me," Raven pulls a radio out of her bag and holds it out to Murphy. "This will connect to Arkadia in case you need help," Murphy grabs the radio and puts it on his hip.
"Good luck, Murphy," Bellamy says before they crawl out. Murphy sighs and looks at the grounder body he found last night. He lays back down and closes his eyes.
A few hours later
Murphy grabs his gun once again as the hatch opens. He aims it at the entrance as Indra drops down into the bunker with Octavia behind her. "I didn't think I would see you two together again," Murphy says.
"She asked for my help. We need the grounder who died here," Octavia says. Murphy points towards the bathroom. Indra and Octavia grab the body and leave. Murphy grabbed his bag and whatever supplies were left and climbed the ladder. He shuts the hatch and starts to walk again. He walks through the woods with his knife out. Murphy walked through the day, seeing nothing, and as night came around, it started to rain. Murphy sees a light coming from a cave. He pulls out his gun and walks into the cave. He aims it up as the person in front of him aims a gun at him.
"Clarke," Murphy says. Clarke lowers her gun and looks at him.
"What are you doing here, Murphy?" Clarke asks.
"I didn't know you were here. People are looking for you, blondie," Murphy says.
"I figured they would be," Clarke says. "Sit down. I'm not going to send you back out there," Murphy sets his bag down and sits down. He sets his gun down as Clarke sits down. "Any news from the grounders?"
"They haven't attacked us," Murphy says. "I saw Octavia with Indra earlier. They were getting the grounder Finn killed," Clarke nods as she stares at the fire.
"So why are you out here? Your best chance of surviving is in Arkadia," Clarke says.
"So is yours," Murphy says.
"I killed hundreds of people," Clarke says.
"I've killed people to Clarke. I killed Connor and Myles. I shot Raven. You did what you had to so your friends and family could live," Murphy says.
"Doesn't matter anymore, Murphy," Clarke says as he lays down. Murphy nods as he lays his bed on his bag.
Early Morning
Murphy gets up and sees Clarke was already awake. He stretches and looks at the blond. "You have a plan, blondie?" Murphy asks.
"Get as far away from here as possible," Clarke says.
"Why? Aren't you worried about what could happen?" Murphy asks.
"They are better off without me, and I can't go back into that camp," Clarke says.
"Most of them wouldn't be alive without you," Murphy argues.
"Bellamy helped too," Clarke says.
"Bellamy caused problems at the start," Murphy says.
"Weren't you part of those problems?" Clarke asks with a small smirk.
"Yeah," Murphy says. "I almost burned a girl. Helped take Wells' wristband. Caused Charlotte's death," Clarke looks at him and nods.
"We both have our demons, John Murphy," Clarke says.
"Yes, we do, Clarke Griffin," Murphy says. Murphy grabs his bag and throws it around his back. "Are you going to be okay?"
"I should be asking you that," Clarke says.
"I'm a cockroach, blondie. I'll always come back," Murphy says with a smile.
"Yes, you do," Clarke says.
"Good luck, Clarke," Murphy says before he leaves the cave. Murphy walks out of the cave and walks into the woods. He walks past a tree and is hit in the face. Murphy falls backward onto the ground. He looks up at the Azgeda warrior as he swings his sword down at Murphy. Murphy rolls to the side and kicks the man in the leg as another comes out of the woods. "Well, come on, guys. No need for this,"
"Bring us the one you call Clarke Griffin," The first man says.
"No, sorry," Murphy says as he pulls out his gun. A grounder grabs him from behind and hits the gun out of his hand. "Well," Murphy says as he pulls a knife out. "I should let you know, boys. I'm not easy to kill," The first man swings at Murphy, who moves and kicks his leg. The second one slashes his leg. Murphy lets out a grunt of pain and swings his knife behind him. He slashes the man's eye, making him yell in pain. The third man hits Murphy in the face and stabs him in the side. Murphy grunts as the man pulls out his sword and kicks him to the ground.
"Not as hard as you thought," The third man says as he raises his sword. A gunshot goes off, going through his chest. Two more go off, hitting the other two men in the head. Murphy hurts his side as it leaks blood. Clarke runs over to him and bends down.
"Dammit Murphy," Clarke says.
"This is what I get for trying to help you," Murphy says. Clarke grabs his side.
"Come on. I found another bunker not far from here. It's not as big as the other one, but it should work," Clarke says as she helps Murphy up. Murphy grabs his gun and knife. Clarke helps him walk through the woods until they reach another bunker. Clarke opens the hatch door and helps Murphy down it. She shuts it and pulls out a flashlight. She shines it at a lantern and walks over to it. She lights it and the lantern lights the whole room. It wasn't as big as the other bunker, as Clarke had said. It had two small beds: a small kitchen and a bathroom. "Sit down," Clarke tells Murphy as she points at a bed. Murphy nods as he sits down. Murphy sets his bag down, and Clarke opens it and pulls out the medical supplies in it. She had Murphy lay down on his side that wasn't bleeding.
Clarke finishes wrapping the bandage around Murphy's side and leg and looks at him. "That will take at least two weeks to heal. That means until then. We are trapped together because I won't leave you to die," Clarke says.
"You should. Like they say karma's a bitch," Murphy says.
"Shut up, Murphy and sleep," Clarke says as she goes to the other bed. Murphy nods with a smile.
"Yes, ma'am," Murphy says with a smile as he lays down. Clarke watches him for a moment before she dims the lantern and closes her eyes.
Lexa's P.O.V
Lexa watched as the Azgeda ambassador paced the room, telling her about how three of their men were found dead. "Why were your warriors even in Trikru territory?" Lexa asks the ambassador, who looks at her.
"Queen Nia sent them to hunt down Wanheda," The ambassador says. Lexa takes a deep breath and looks at him.
"Your men will leave her alone, and they will also leave Skaikru alone. It sounds like Clarke was defending herself. If any warriors so much as lay a hand on Skaikru, they will deal with me. Understood?" Lexa asks in a low tone.
"Yes, commander," The ambassador says.
"Good, now leave," Lexa says. The ambassador quickly turns around and leaves. Lexa calls a guard in.
"Yes, Heda?" He asks.
"Send a letter to Indra. Tell her to come here with Octavia Kom Skaikru. Raven Kom Skaikru. Bellamy Kom Skaikru. Wells Kom Skaikru. Lincoln Kom Trikru and Kane Kom Skaikru," Lexa says. The guard nods as he leaves. Lexa lays her face in her hands. "Now I have to find you Klark," Lexa walks out onto the balcony and looks out into the city. "Stay safe, Klark," Lexa says to herself as she stares into the woods.
Thanks for reading. This is my new 100 story, and I'm pretty excited about it. It will be a Murven and Clexa story. Everything after Clarke leaves Arkadia does not happen. No, Allie and Pike will be different. As always, suggestions, ideas, and feedback are welcomed. Until next time
