The number of people in the world with intelligence similar to their level? It was so small that it scared her when it came down to it. the things that scared her grew each day.

"And today marks the 6-month anniversary of the siege of I-Island. Sources claim the enemy had been associated with…" She heard before she turned off the radio and sighed to herself.

The fact that she had been there when this had come? The more time people placed into it at the moment? The more All For One had gained power and his fear spread across the entire country when it came down to their topics.

I-Island had slowly started to heal from Wolfram's siege on their lands when it come to it. All the attacks that were featured on the news simply dragged them slowly back towards the state of fear that the man had brought to their lands.

Still? it didn't drag Melissa into terror. Her family had been harmed a lot by her father's plans which she wanted nothing to do with. The fact that he had been fine with trying to gain money for his experiments? There were better ways to do it. There were better ways to do this without risking their entire family. no, he had to throw it with methods that broke the law in a way that had torn their family name to pieces. The Shield name was thrown into the trash by this and few people wanted anything to do with it.

Melissa didn't blame them entirely. To many? They were too cowardly to ask for help from others rather than endanger people to protect their reputation. It was never something she expected her father to do

Then again? She hadn't seen a lot of her father at the moment and the more it came down to it? The more she wondered what her father was willing to do. He wasn't a bad man at the end of the day. Yet? He was still someone who was in hot water the more time started to move forward.

He crossed her arms and looked at the ferry which started to slowly move towards the island. She was glad at least that more people were drawn to the island the more time went on. She had also seen a few heroes that had been drawn to this island as well. She was nodded to do as he frowned to himself.

"More heroes are coming here when it comes down to it," Melissa stated while she frowned and leaned on the wall with interest. "Oh. I wish he was here. it had been so simple when Uncle All Might was still around and able to…" Melissa added with a frown as she tapped her fingers on the wall with interest.

She wanted to help when it came to their topics. She wanted to best help the people heal and protect them. The damage that had been placed on the world and I-Island? It had to be stopped and repaired. She hadn't a quirk, but she'd be cursed if she didn't at least try to fix some of the damages. She wasn't going to simply allow others to fix problems that she was able to lend a hand to even if it meant she found herself in trouble.

Still? she wasn't an idiot, nor did she simply forget the problems with trying to be a hero. They'd slice her to ribbons without something to help back her up with at the moment. She started to brainstorm her ideas while she looked at the ferries and their occupants. There had been plenty of people that had come here and not all of them seemed to be on the level despite their best efforts. It didn't mean a lot to her yet despite the best efforts.

She was rather annoyed at the time by her father's actions… Yet? She wanted to do right by her as of this moment.

She drummed her fingers on her arms and legs as she pondered while she waited for any idea to slowly spin around in her brain before long.

Phew. The first chapter is done! I want to point out this story wipe be updated slowly at the moment. The next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will set more of the plot in motion and help show the other protagonist at the moment. The next chapter will also be 900-6500 words. Until then?
