The first thing that Kira did when she woke up was check Ren's phone for yesterday's notes. After she was finished reading she got dressed, and went downstairs to eat some breakfast.
What she wasn't expecting was for Sojiro to have a plate full of Curry and a cup of Coffee already prepared for her. "So, you're actually going to school, huh?" Kira nodded before Sojiro continued.
"Here, I'll feed you. Just make sure that you finish it before the customers start coming in." Kira nodded before sitting at the bar and eating the meal that Sojiro made her. After she was done Sojiro spoke up again "It's time for you to go." Kira nodded before responding with a bow and saying. "That was delicious, Thank you!"
Sojiro chuckled before adding. "…Hurry over to school. You'll end up late if you get lost on the way." Kira nodded before waving goodbye to Sojiro and heading to the train station that was headed for Shibuya.
While she was on the train she looked around and caught a glimpse of a woman with red hair in a long ponytail before disembarking the vehicle. While she was walking around looking for her next train, she kept hearing about an accident before remembering that Ren had mentioned it in his note.
After about ten minutes Kira finally made her way onto the street but much to her dismay it was raining outside and she forgot her umbrella, so she decided to take shelter underneath a nearby building ledge.
She decided that now would be a good time to check Ren's phone for that mystery app. She was about to delete it but was distracted by another person coming to stand beside her. She couldn't make out any facial features because they had a gray hood covering their face.
Once the person was completely covered by the ledge, they removed the hood revealing a beautiful blonde girl wearing her hair in long, wavy pigtails with blue eyes. Kira stared at the girl gobsmacked at how beautiful she was before the girl noticed her and smiled at Kira before a white car pulled up beside the two of them.
The passenger window was lowered to reveal a man with curly, short, black hair and bushy eyebrows wearing a blue tracksuit. He then turned to the girl and said "Good morning. You want me to give you a ride to school? You're gonna be late." The girl responded. "Um, sure. Thank you." Before he turned to Kira and asked her or rather, Ren if he wanted a ride.
Kira simply responded by waving politely and saying "No Thanks" What Kira did notice though was that as she was rolling the window down, her expression changed to sadness before the car drove off.
No sooner than they had left Kira saw a yellow haired student wearing a yellow tee-shirt with a graphic and the letters ZOMG underneath a Shujin uniform running after the car before letting out a frustrated sigh and saying. "Dammit…Screw that pervy teacher." Kira tilted her head before repeating the words causing the boy to stare at her before approaching her and speaking up.
"…What do you want?" The vulgar boy asked Kira before continuing. "You planning on rattling me out to Kamoshida?" Kira tilted Ren's head before parroting. "Kamoshida?" Which caused the boy to scratch his head and answered.
"Huh? In that car just now. That was Kamoshida. He does whatever the hell he wants. Who does he think he is-the king of a castle? Don't you agree?" Kira cocked Ren's head to the side yet again. "King of a Castle?" She questioned the vulgar boy before he answered.
"No, I mean… Wait. You don't know Kamoshida? Are you for real?" Kira nodded before he asked. "You're from Shujin, right?" Kira nodded before asking him back. "You go to Shujin too?" The boy chuckled before answering "What? No other high school's got a uniform like this."
Kira then proceeded to ask him what year he was in and to her surprise they were in the same year. "A second year, huh… We're in the same grade then." He said to Kira before studying her and saying. "Never seen you before though." Before he made a face of realization and blurted out.
"Oh, are you a transfer student?" Kira nodded before the Vulgar boy continued talking to her. "Then no wonder you don't know him." He said as he put his hand out from underneath the ledge before turning towards Kira and saying. "This rain ain't too bad. We better hurry up, or we'll be late."
He said to her before Kira felt a pang of lightheadedness causing her to hold Ren's head, apparently the boy had felt it too because he was also clutching his head before saying "Uuugh, my head hurts…Dammit… I wanna go home…" The two teens then took a shortcut through a nearby alleyway.
Halfway through the alleyway, however, she felt… different. She felt slightly lighter than usual and her senses seemed to intensify a little bit. She looked back at the way she came expecting to see something different but once she realized that nothing was out of the ordinary she shrugged before continuing on. Shortly afterwards Kira heard the vulgar boy yell "Wha-"causing Kira to speed up.
As soon as Kira exited the alley she was greeted by a large castle instead of the school and the sky was a mysterious purple. The two stood there gawking at the unfamiliar building before the boy spoke up. "We didn't…come the wrong way though…" he said as the two of them looked back to the alleyway that they had just come from. "Yeah, this should be right…" The vulgar boy continued before turning to Kira. "What's going on he-" he started to say but quickly backed away from Kira.
"Who the hell are you!?" he asked before Kira tilted her head and responded. "What are yo-" Kira started to ask before realizing that she no longer sounded like Ren. She looked down to see that she was in her school uniform and that she had her body back. Kira sighed before realizing that she should probably explain herself.
"I'm Kira Kurusu, lately I've been swapping bodies with this guy, Ren Amamiya. I'm not exactly sure why or how we are swapping bodies, nor do I know why I'm back in my own body now of all times. You'll probably meet Ren tomorrow though."
The boy nodded before turning to Kira and saying. "I guess we'll just have to go and ask." Causing Kira to nod before they entered the strange building. Once they were in the building, the vulgar boy spoke up again. "Th-That's weird… Where's the school?" He asked out loud before Kira suggested. "Did we make a wrong turn?"
The boy then turned to Kira before saying to her while rubbing his neck. "This SHOULD be the school… I think…" he then pulled his phone out and checked it before making a perplexed expression and saying. "Out of service? Where'd we end up?"
Kira just shrugged before the vulgar boy asked. "The sign was for the school, right?" Kira nodded before replying with. "Yeah." Remembering that the sign had clearly said "Shujin Academy" the boy then turned towards Kira again and yelled. "Right!? You saw it too!" Suddenly the duo were approached by a creature wearing metal armor.
The boy immediately turned towards it while saying. "Geez, you freaked me out… Who're you? Are you a student?" Kira could somehow sense that whatever it was, it wasn't friendly but she decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. No sooner than she had thought that, the boy approached the stranger before saying.
"Man, your costume is impressive… Is that armor real?" he asked before crossing his arms. "C'mon, don't just stand there. Say something."
It was only when another one showed up that the boy backed off. "...H-Hey, what's going on?" he asked, slightly more panicked before Kira spoke up. "What is this?" she asked anxiously. The guard approached the vulgar boy causing him to get into a more defensive stance. "...This shit's real." he said flatly as the first armored creature approached him.
"C-Calm down! Time out, man!" the boy sputtered before turning to Kira and saying. "We gotta run." The two of them turned around and proceeded to try and run away but were cut off by two more guards. "Ugh, what is with these guys!?" he said before being hit in the back with a shield and doubling over. "Gah! Oww… Y-You're gonna break my bones, dammit!" He cried before Kira started inhaling some sort of gas, before losing consciousness, however before she did she heard an unfamiliar voice say "Take them away, and be careful with her!"
