Luke walked downstairs. He hissed angrily.
"Are you okay?" Lori asked.
"Don't worry. I got the news. Chalice will have her baby soon!" Luke says, angry.
"We're still going to celebrate your birthday." Lori says.
"Just forget it." Luke says. He goes off to have breakfast alone, outside of the house.
"Sigh." Lucy says.
Garrett sees Luke eating breakfast at the Pancake Cabin, his favorite breakfast place besides Breakfast & Breakloose.
"What's wrong?" Garrett asked.
"The baby is coming today. That's all everyone is thinking about and talking about." Luke says, eating his birthday breakfast.
"So your family hates you?" Garrett asked.
"No. They're talking about the baby!" Luke says. "They're too busy with Chalice and the birth of our daughter to pay much attention to me." Luke says.
Soon, Chalice was giving birth. The siblings watched through the windows of the delivery room.
Soon, the baby came out.
"Awww…" Chalice says looking at the baby girl. She looked like Chalice with Luke's hair and eyes.
"What to name you…" Chalice says. "It has to be perfect, just like Lukey…I know, Lyra…Wait, no…Aria…Yes, that's perfect!"
"That's a wonderful name." Luna says.
"Ah!" Lucy winced. "My water broke…"
Cuphead was already getting her ready in the same room as Chalice. It took a bit, maybe 3 hours, tops, but Lucy gave birth to a boy. He looks like Cuphead, but with Lucy's hair and Cuphead's eyes.
"He's adorable!" Luan says.
"Hey, it's funny how Lucy gave birth to someone on her own birthday." Lola says
Lucy thinks of a name "What would Grandma Harriet think? I know, Edwin." Lucy said and smiled. "You like that, Edwin?" Lucy asked. The baby laughed.
"That's definitely a yes." Cuphead says.
Lucy laid in the hospital bed. "I almost forgot. I have to celebrate Luke's birthday." she says, looking ashamed for hurting Luke.
Luke was absolutely miserable at home. When Luke saw the baby shower decorations, he felt hurt inside and cried. All they cared about was celebrating Aria and Edwin. Not him.
"I see how it is…" Luke sniffed.
"We'll celebrate your birthday." Lonnie says.
"This was supposed to be my special week!" Luke sobbed.
"Those siblings never loved you. If they did, they'd choose you first." Garrett says.
The siblings were spending time with the new babies.
"Guys, what about Luke?" Lucy asked.
"Wow, Lucy, how excited are you to be a mother?" Lola asked.
"I don't think it's right, I'm just used to helping Luke." Lucy says "He hates us now. Especially me…"
Luke was a mess as his friends tried to console him. Luke grabs his book full of his birthday plans and throws it away, tears streaming down his face.
"I'll never forgive them!" Luke sobbed. "No one loves Luke! No one!"
He came to the hospital that afternoon, and his sad demeanor changed when he saw his daughter in Chalice's arms.
She was asleep.
"Chally…she's beautiful…" Luke says. "She is an angel."
"I know. You wanna see your nephew?" She asked.
"I saw the pictures that Lucy sent me of him. I came to see you and our daughter." Luke says.
Chalice smiled and breastfeeds the baby. "Sorry I have to stay in the hospital." Chalice says. Even though Luke got to see his daughter, it hurt Luke to know his wife would miss most of his birthday week.
"I'll video chat and everything." Chalice says.
Lucy noticed Edwin wasn't crying. "I hope you don't end up dark and gloomy like me. I want you to be like my big brother Luke. He's the perfect role model." Lucy says as Edwin coos.
"You know we're right here." Chalice says.
"Luke, I'm so proud of you. You're a father now." Charity says.
"Thanks. Now can I go?" Luke says. "I think I just need to cancel my birthday this year. I'll just cry for the entire week." Luke leaves to do just that.
"He hates me, I know it." Lucy says.
Luke grabs his birthday book. He stared at it. The siblings just watched him. Luke sobbed and screamed as he threw the book at the siblings.
Luna holds him.
"MY BIRTHDAY IS CANCELLED!" Luke screamed.
"Lukey, I know you're hurting…" Leni says.
"I hate you all!" Luke screamed.
Mugman warms up some milk and eventually gets Luke to calm down and rest. As he sleeps, the siblings discuss what should be done.
"We need to give him perfect birthdays. We failed one. We can't afford to fail the other six." Lori says.
"What's the plan for tomorrow?" Luna asked.
"The War Games party. But do you think he'll have fun?" Luan asked.
"We'll have to see." Luna says.
The next morning, Luke still had dry tears on his face. He had cried in his sleep.
Lori came in. "Happy birthday, Luke!" she says. "You're 21 years old now!"
She had his birthday breakfast, which was birthday cake pancakes. He saw a candle in it, and it was lit.
Lori smiled. "Make a wish and blow it out!" She says to Luke.
Luke wished for his birthday to be perfect. He then blew out the candle and ate his pancakes.
After breakfast, Luke heads out for the day, still feeling a little upset.
The siblings set up. They could tell Luke was still hurt inside.
"We can't afford a mistake." Leni says.
"Can't you see he's still in emotional pain?!" Luna says.
"Which is why we can't afford a mistake or he'll mentally break." Lisa says.
"He loves his daughter. But he is pretty upset that Chalice is missing most of his birthweek." Luan says.
"Lisa, remove her from the hospital." Lola says.
"Are you crazy, woman?!" Lisa asked.
"Luke wants her around. That makes him happy." Lola says as Lily nodded.
"Why can't she leave?" Leni asked.
"Look, Chalice lost a lot of blood, and Lucy's going to be at the hospital till the end of January. Good thing this season likes to drag itself out with epic long breaks." Lisa says.
Luke was looking in the window of a local arcade. Tears sprung to his eyes as he watched a young couple celebrating their birthday together. He teleported out of San Antonio, sobbing.
The siblings worked hard. They wanted Luke to be happy. They soon finished.
"Should we sing when he arrives? He loves music…" Luna says.
They nod and then look for Luke.
Luna finds him smashing a cake at a local arcade and hissing as he sings to himself.
"Luke, I have a surprise for you." Luna says.
Luke looks at Luna, who is holding an Arctic camo-print outfit. Luke gasps and puts it on, then Luna leads him to his party.
Confetti was laid out as a trail to the party location. Luke was curious about this. He soon arrived at a sports center that was decorated.
"Happy birthday, Luke!" Everyone says.
Luke takes a look around.
There were decorations, gifts, and colored bandannas for all the teams. Luke grinned upon seeing all this.
"Incredible!" Luke says.
As soon as everyone was ready, Gabriel was on the stage.
"Everyone pick your teams! The games will begin soon!" He says.
Everyone began to pick their team colors. Luke picked Arctic blue, his favorite color. Once everyone chose their colors and put on their bandannas, the games began.
The teams were having fun working together through the obstacle course, capture the flag, hide-and-seek, red light green light, a water balloon war, and the games wrapped up with a tug-of-war tournament. Everyone enjoyed this particular part of the party, and many fun moments were shared during these games.
Luke soon sat down to open his presents, smiling and awaiting his first gift.
Charity came up and presented Luke with his 21st birthday Swarovski figurine. It was Luke teeing off at hole 21 on a custom golf course base. He smiled with joy at this.
"I love it. Thank you, Mom." Luke says, hugging his mom.
"You're welcome, my handsome prince." Charity says.
Luke was presented with Leni's gift next.
He opens it to reveal a new stage outfit. He gasped at the sight of it.
"It's a candy-themed sailor suit!" Luke says. "This is perfect for the routine me and Chally have planned for the show at Candytopia! Thanks, Leni!"
"You're welcome." Leni says.
Luke opens Luna's gift next.
It was a guitar with his name on it in Arctic blue diamonds. He gasped at this.
"I LOVE IT!" Luke says.
Luna smiled at Luke as he then opened Garrett's gift.
It was Hairspray Live! on DVD. Luke squealed.
"Garrett! I love this!" Luke says. "Thank you, thank you!"
Garrett smiled and hugged Luke.
Soon, everyone sat down to eat. Luke got himself a Raising Cane's Caniac meal and ate it by himself.
Lisa joins him. Luke looks at her. She feeds Luke his dinner, and he smiles at her.
"This party is fun so far…" Luke says.
"After this, you get to sing for everyone!" Lisa says. But Luke felt unsure of whether he could do it without his wife.
"I can video call Chalice." Luna says, trying to reassure Luke.
Luke nodded and finished eating.
After eating, Luke then went on stage.
Luna put Chalice on video call. Luke smiled and the two of them did a duet.
Everyone loved it.
Soon, it was piñata time. It looked just like an Arctic camo Army tank. Luke grinned.
"So cool!" Luke says.
Luke was given his Nine-iron as he hit the piñata, breaking it open and releasing the candy and camo-design pinata toys. The birthday boy gets his share of it all.
Luke eats some of his candy, smiling.
A highlight reel of the "War Games" was shown while the cake was getting finished.
Soon, Luan turns down the lights. Luke looks around, knowing what's next. Luan and Benny come out, presenting the Arctic camo Army tank birthday cake they worked on. The cake had a toy Luke wearing an Arctic camo uniform and commanding the troops. There was also a toy Chalice wearing an Arctic camo-print dress and charming some soldiers.
The banner above the tank cake reads "Luke Is Entering The Battlefield At Age 21! We Love You! Happy 21st Birthday, Luke!"
Luke took a picture of the cake, amazed by it.
Leni got a camera, ready to record. Luan lit the candles.
Everyone began to sing as Luke grinned.
Luke wished for Chalice to come to his celebrations. He blew out his candles and shed tears as he cut the cake.
Soon, Chalice came to Luke. Luke looks at her.
"Happy birthday, Lukey!" Chalice says. "Aria is with your mom. I think that's best right now. I've been neglecting you. And I feel really bad for doing that. What party is tomorrow?"
"Well, since the Broadway show is a no-go, my mom planned a party at the local Chuck E. Cheese instead. It'll be my 'inner child' themed birthday party." Luke says with a smile.
"I love inner child themed parties!" Chalice says. "They're so much fun!"
