Hey everyone I am so sorry this took so long to update, but alas I am back. I got caught up in life and work, but don't worry I will not abandon this story. Anyways please enjoy and leave comments they are appreciated.

Earth-616

Peter was sitting on his couch deep in his thoughts, everything that had happened in the past 36 hours was weighing heavily on him and it was easy to see. He got up and went to his daughter's room hoping to ease his thoughts, but when he saw her sleeping peacefully it had the opposite effect on him.

Peaceful...

That's how his daughter looked, peaceful. It reminded him of when he saw Miles again, despite everything he knew, when he saw how much he had grown he was happy and most of all he was at peace. But now knowing that he had broken any sort of trust between them, he was anything but at peace, he was in anguish, although he would never show it. The older Spider-man had learned to hone his emotions and learn when to show it. It did piss MJ off from time to time when he would be nonchalant sometimes, but he knew that he needed to himself around her, and after being sent home by Miles in the original collider incident he did just that. He was honest with MJ about everything even though she did not want to see him, he never gave up. He took his leap of faith, and it was all because of Miles, he only had a daughter because he hoped she would be like him. He wished he could change it all, be honest with the kid, but that's now in the past and he can't change it, he can only change what will be.

He sighed making his way to go to bed, but turned around when a bright light shined through the window. Cautiously making his way toward the window, he relaxed when he saw Gwen, Noir, Ham, Peni, Pav, and Hobie standing there in front of a portal. He understood what they were there for and he knew immediately that he would help her, help him.

He felt a tap on his shoulder and saw Mayday sitting on the edge of her crib with her Spiderman hat on her head. Sighing, he picked her up and carried her back to her bed.

"Not this time sweetie, not this time. Daddy has to go save a friend and fix what he did…"

She cooed sadly and nodded off to sleep after he sang her a lullaby, slowly he laid her on her small bed.

"I'm coming kid and this time I'll stand with you."

He made his way outside after telling MJ everything. He looked at Gwen and the others,

"I assume we have a plan?"

She nodded and turned towards the portal about to jump through, "We are heading to Earth-42, Margo located him."

"Well, I'm very happy you found him, but Gwen…" She turned around confused, "Do we have a plan once we find him? Miles isn't exactly going to be the happiest person to see us," he paused turning to look at Hobie and Margo, "Ok, most of us." He emphasized.

Gwen dropped her head in understanding and her face grew warm, "I-uh-I don't have one." The words came out mumbled and embarrassed.

"Alright, sooo… uh I hate to be this guy, but Hobie and Margo are our best bet of finding Miles without scaring him off."

Gwen looked at them and nodded. While she trusted Hobie she didn't know what to make of Margo. While she had never had a long conversation with the girl she was uneasy of the chemistry that Miles had with her. Earlier in HQ, she noticed it only took a few seconds for them to get along easily and jealousy got the better of her and she webbed Miles back towards herself.

"Gwen you there?" Peter asked.

"Huh?" She shook her head, "sorry I was thinking about something."

"Tinkin' 'bout our friend yea' eh Gwendy?" She looked up with a light blush on her cheeks.

"We are all concerned about our young friend, but he is strong and his fire will not be snuffed out easily." Everyone looked toward the black and white spider man, Noir, who was currently lighting a match.

"Did he actually jus' say wha' I tink he said?" Hobie asked confused, Pav and Peter chuckled.

"Alright so the plan is when we get to Earth-42, we locate him, let Margo or Hobie try to talk to him and explain the current situation. Then if all goes well we'll introduce the rest of ourselves and get back to 1610 to save his dad." Peter looked at her as if he wanted to say something, but she shot him a look that said not now.

"Well, wha' we waitin' for? Let's find our brother Miles and git 'im home", Hobie was the first to leap through the portal followed by the rest of the Spiders leaving Gwen last.

"Miles, I'm coming, and this time I'll never leave you again, I promise."

And she jumped through.

Meanwhile on Earth-42

"Where am I? What is this place?" Miles looked down and saw he was chained to an upright table that was inside a glass tube-like prison. He tried breaking free, but to no avail, he was exhausted from…well, everything. Suddenly the sound of water filled his ears, he looked around panicking, and saw the prison was filling with water.

"How could I let myself get captured after I did all that just to get free and now they're going to drown me? Carajo" He looked up when he heard a door open only to see Miguel and them. Those who he once thought were his friends and one of them maybe more.

"Que mierda, what could they possibly want now?" He hung his head not daring to look up and meet her pale blue eyes, because he knew that once he did all his emotions would break free and leave him vulnerable.

"Morales, you are a pain in the ass and I hope you know that. I also wanted you to kn-"

"Callate puta" Miguel was caught off guard somewhat by Miles's words.

"Kid, you're done for, just accept-"

"Accept what? That I should let innocent people die? All because an algorithm said so?" Miles looked straight into Miguel's red eyes.

"Nah, vete a la mierda. Finish your gloating and leave me the fuck alone." He was surprised when the futuristic Spider-Man did leave, but he said one last thing before he exited the room.

"You're a mistake. You were never supposed to be Spider-Man, never forget that for the rest of your life, which ends in a few minutes" With that he left and everyone else shuffled out, except two. The silence between the three was deafening until Miles spoke up.

"Gwen, Peter, I thought I said wanted to be left alone. Why are you still here?" His voice cracked slightly, but he quickly coughed to mask it.

"Well mate ya got Gwenny over 'ere right, but I'm no Peter." He instantly recognized that voice and looked up hopefully to see someone who had helped him against the society.

"Hobie what are you-" He froze when he saw Gwen and Hobie both standing there with smiles on their faces, except that wasn't what bothered him at all. It was how close they were to each other and how their hands intertwined.

"Hobie, I-I,,,wha-"

"No need to worry mate, she's in good hands, aren't ya Gwenny?"

"I sure am. Better hands." Miles was frozen in shock and fear. He knew he was right, Gwen was with Hobie, and she looked happy, happier than when she was with him. He couldn't help it, the tears came down in streams and they wouldn't stop.

"Aww Hobie look he's crying…" Gwen scoffed, she approached the glass prison and what she said was seared into Miles's memory, "You were never one of us, you were an accident. If you ever thought I would return your pathetic feelings for me you were wrong…"

"No," Miles whimpered as the tears were in free fall at this point.

"Yes, and by the way Hobie is so much better than you in every way than you could ever imagine." The water was by his chin already and something inside Miles snapped. He looked into her eyes, teary red meeting pale blue. He once loved the color blue, but now he despised and was disgusted by it.

"I'LL KILL YOU ALL! EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU! YOU HEAR ME?" He snarled before his head was submerged and water filled his mouth and nostrils, he kept screaming under the water hoping they could hear him, but he knew they couldn't. He couldn't tell whether he was screaming in rage or in pain anymore, the water blended with his tears and he was drowning but he could care less, his heart was broken and he couldn't bother himself to pick up the pieces, he just wanted one thing…

Revenge

Gglurgh…

"I think that's enough for now, let's see how you handle what's up next" The voice sounded familiar, but he couldn't place it, his lungs were on fire.

"Wha- cough…cough…the fuck was that?" Miles spluttered out water running down his face. He had a soaking wet hood over his face obscuring his vision.

"That was a new drug I stole. Apparently, it gives the user nightmares of their worst fears and it seems to work judging by your reaction."

"Who's t-there? Who a-are you? What do you w-want?" His voice was dry and hoarse considering he was just waterboarded awake.

"Who I am is something you don't need to know, as for what I want, it's quite simple…" His captor's voice sounded familiar, but he couldn't place it. It was only until the hood was pulled from his head that Miles's breath hitched…

"Uncle Aaron."

"Ah, so you know my name. However, you just called me uncle and I'm pretty sure we aren't related even though you bear some resemblance…" The ghost from Miles's past paced around the room, "I'll ask you this once and one time only. Who are you and why do you have my nephew's face?"

"Uncle Aaron you gotta lis-"

WHAM

The wind was knocked out of Miles, he gasped for air looking at the man who once held all his admiration and respect. "This day just keeps getting better and better," he thought bitterly.

"Wrong answer, plus I don't gotta listen to anything you have to say."

"Let him speak, I want to hear what he has to say." A distorted voice broke through, and Miles looked up to see two red glowing eyes. "Huh, those weren't there before? How'd my sense not pick it up?" The figure slowly approached him but hesitated before stepping out of the shadows. They wore a black jacket and jeans, with purple trims going down the sides. Their face was covered by what looked to be a holographic mask with a filter on both sides of their jaw. A distorted voice broke through the silence.

"Who are you?"

"Look I'm not from here, I'm Miles Morales from a different dimension and I'm trying to save my father, please you gotta let me go."

"Your father is alive? Huh, interesting… Mine's dead"

"Who are you?" Miles asks.

The mask clicks back and it all makes sense.

"I'm Miles Morales, but you…you can call me The Prowler." The first thing Miles 1610 noticed about his counterpart was his hair. Instead of his fro, he had his hair split into two braids that reached his shoulders. His face was also more defined and his facial expression was hardened.

"What do you want?" Miles 1610 asks, still in shock from his captor's identity.

"You. Your gonna help us. I saw when you were swinging through the city like an insect. I'm gonna assume you're a superhuman because no one falls from that height into a billboard and survives."

"Why would I help you? You just probably gonna betray me like the rest of them." He spat the last word with a little more venom than he wanted to.

"You got betrayed huh? Nah I won't do that, my father taught me to be a man of my word."

"You think he'd be proud of you? Tying people up for interrogation? I think he'd be dis-"

WHAM

"Don't you dare mention my father. He died saving others and then this city fell into one giant shitshow because of the Six. I wasn't able to fight back because I was younger and inexperienced, but now…now I can honor his sacrifice by bringing back what this city needs."

"A-and what is t-that?" Miles 1610 wheezes out still recovering from the gauntlet punch.

"Order. I will bring peace, freedom, justice, and security to the New York I once knew." Miles 42 stated as he looked outside, hands outstretched.

"And how will you do that? Let's say I help you, there are only 3 of us against these so-called Six and the rest of this corrupt city. How could you possibly hope to win?" Miles was genuinely happy and confused with his counterpart's plan. Happy that there was another one of him who wanted to do the right thing, but confused as to how he was gonna do it."

"I'm going to assume in your dimension you have a scientific research company called Alchemax?…" Miles 1610 nodded, Miles 42 continued, "Well you are going to break in there and steal something very valuable for us."

"And that something would be?"

"The symbiotes…your gonna help us steal the symbiotes."

Alright, I hope that was a good cliffhanger cause I suck at them. So now more drama which will hopefully make this more interesting IMO. Anyways hope you enjoyed and until next time, peace out.
