Simport, Maine; the party capital of Maine, where the day is calm and mellow, while the night is wild and filled with life. Almost everywhere you look in this town, you will find a club building or two, with the exception of the residential areas, for obvious reasons. It's hard to believe that a town that looks very basic would have partying be its 'bread and butter'; heck, when the town was first built, some people thought that it wasn't going to work; but somehow, in the end, it did. It was a twenty-four hour party town, and it's been that way ever since the late seventies; and the party just keeps going and going and going, with no stop anywhere in sight.

Well, this story doesn't exactly begin in that town, yet...

The story actually begins at a dorm house of an old college campus somewhere in New York City, where coincidentally enough, a party was going on. A large amount of students were hanging in the recreation-room, dancing around and having themselves a very awesome time, even having a beer or two...or five, if one were to take consideration of how drunk some of these folks actually were right now. The smell of alcohol, perfume, and sweat filled the air; although, this was something to expect out of a party such as this one. Yep; this was your typical average day in college whenever you're not working.

It seemed like almost every student was attending this party, but we're not focusing on anyone who's attending it; instead, we're focusing on a girl who's actually upstairs trying to avoid said party. Silently sitting on her bed in one of the bedrooms, there laid a girl with short brown hair that reaches down to her shoulders and had freckles on her face, and was wearing what she'd usually wear everyday; her favorite dark blue baseball cap, a black jacket with a light blue t-shirt underneath, and baggy dark blue jeans that were rolled up around the ankles. It was pretty obvious from the looks of her that she was just your average tomboy, especially considering the skateboard she had leaning against the front of her bed, as well as some of the posters on the wall beside her that had her favorite pop-punk bands on them. It's also worth noting that she may have some studious in her too, as evident from the small stack of books she has on the desk beside her, including some of the posters being science-related.

Now, from her overall fun-looking appearance, one would probably expect a girl like her to participate in the party downstairs; however, in actuality, they'd be wrong. From the look of sheer irritation on her face, to the fact that she was currently reading one of the many books that she had, it was clear for anyone to see that partying wasn't exactly something that this girl fancies. She didn't really care if the first day of Summer Vacation was tomorrow, she just wanted to spend her last day of college reading one of the few books that she bought throughout the semester.

After another few minutes of trying to tolerate the loud music, the girl decided to get up from her bed and head downstairs, hoping that she'll be able to turn the radio down. Luckily, it was sitting on top of a counter that was pretty close to where the stairs were, allowing her to have a clear path in order for her to actually get to it. Just as she was about to make her way over to the radio, somebody stops her.

"Katie!" A female voice shouts from close by. "I was wondering when you were gonna come down here!"

The brown-haired girl, Katie, turned her head to see who it was calling out for her. The person was a girl with short blonde hair with dark green headphones on top of her head, as well as a bunch of freckles scattered across her face; and she was wearing a red tank-top with baggy light green jeans, along with some nifty white sneakers that had some blue lines going diagonally on one side of them. Just like Katie, it was obvious that this girl was just as tomboyish as she was, mostly due to how she dressed everyday and her overall chill attitude.

"Finally deciding to throw those crappy books away and hang with the rest of us now, eh?" The blonde tomboy asked, much to the brunette's annoyance.

"No." Katie says with a huff, her eyes narrowing at the party girl standing right before her.

"Then why'd you come down here for; to turn the radio off or something?"

"Technically, I was going to turn it down, but since you've brought it up, I don't see why I shouldn't."

"Uh...yeah, not happening, man." The blonde tomboy said as she immediately got in front of Katie, keeping her from getting closer to the radio. "If you think you're turning this awesome music down, then you'll just have to get past me first."

Katie simply rolled her eyes at what the blonde girl was doing. "Don't turn this into a scene, Candy..." She calmly muttered, keeping the same irritated glare on her face.

"Then you don't ruin this party's groove." The other tomboy, Candy, requested, picking up a random cup of beer off of the table behind her and handing it to Katie. "Here; have a drink and try to unwind a little for once."

"You know I don't drink, right?" Katie reminded as glared down at the cup she was just given.

"Not even when we went to that bar during Spring Break?" Candy asked while raising an eyebrow, only to receive nothing more but silence and a slight nod. "Oh, right...I totally forgot that my own cousin was a complete goody-two-shoes who'd rather keep her head down in her study-books rather than unwind and enjoy life like the rest of us down here."

"Actually, I do know how to have fun, just like you; it's just that my version of 'fun' doesn't involve wild parties, or getting drunk, or getting some dude in the same bed as you." Katie paused mid-sentence, noticing that Candy was winking at a couple boys who were checking them out as they were passing by. "You are not inviting those guys into our room tonight..." She then muttered as her glare returned to her face.

"Maybe one of them will wind up becoming your boyfriend this time." Candy remarks, only to earn herself a glare from her cousin as a result.

"No." Katie simply says, before placing down her cup on the nearby table and then facing the stairs behind her. "Look, I'm just gonna head back upstairs and maybe do some stuff on my laptop to pass the time. Once you're done down here, feel free to come meet me in our room; there's been something on my mind that I've been wanting to talk to you about?"

"Why not just tell me here?"

"Well, gee...I wonder why." Katie says sarcastically as she glared at the two boys behind her cousin.

"Don't mind us, Kate." One of the boys said while raising a hand. "Your cousin's pretty hot."

"Can you stare at her ass while I'm not talking to her, please?" Katie asked the men, before shooing them off back into the crowd beside them; afterwards, the former turned her attention back to her cousin. "Just come talk to me when you're done." She requested, before ultimately walking back upstairs.

"Whatever you say, dude..." Candy muttered before taking the cup of beer that her cousin rejected, and then taking a sip from it; and this was when the two boys from seconds ago came back over to talk with the blonde girl. "You see; this is why you shouldn't share the same room as your nerdy-as-fuck cousin." She told them as she pointed towards the ceiling.

"I heard that!" Katie shouts from upstairs, catching her cousin off-guard.

"It's bizarre that you two are actually related." One of the boys commented as he stared up the stairs. "You two are, like, so different."

"How the heck did you two tolerate each other these past four years anyway?" The other boy asked as he crossed his arms.

"All I can really tell you guys is that it's a very long story..." Candy replied as she took a sip of her beer. "There's times where Katie can be an awesome girl to have around, but then there are other times she would rather sit around and read books, or study tests that are days ahead of whatever day it is, or, and this is pretty rare, both; and it's stuff like that which makes me wonder how she became friends with Crystal in the first place."

"Who's Crystal?" One of the boys asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.

"Oh, just her best friend...who's just as cool as I am, except she's an expert at skateboarding like Katie is, unlike me."

"She does sound cool..." One boy comments, before taking a sip of his own beer.

"Totally." The other boy agreed, before turning his attention back over to Candy. "Don't worry, you're cool too."

"I know." Candy says cunningly as she walked past the two boys. "Speaking of which, do you want to see how cool I really am on the dance-floor?"

"Dude, we've been dying to see you bust a move for, like, the past ten minutes." One of the boys said with a smirk appearing on his face.

"Is it true when they say you're a good dancer?" The other boy asked.

"You bet, dudes." Candy says while nodding her head with a smirk. "Follow me, and I'll show you what I got."

"Alright." The two boys said in unison before following Candy into the crowd of people beside them.

Hours later...

It had already been about three hours since their last concert together, and Candy still wasn't here; and even worse, it's already midnight. Most of the students had went back to their respective dorms and rooms, and all the lights, as well as the radio, have been turned off, thanks to curfew; so, Katie's now left wondering where her cousin wandered off to at this time. Then again, Candy's probably with one of those boys who were checking them out, or she got so drunk that she passed out of something; either way, she wouldn't be surprised if it was either of them; and she wasn't planning on getting out of bed and seeing which one of those two outcomes is true. So much for telling her cousin what her plans are tomorrow.

As minutes continue to pass, Katie simply just stared up at the ceiling, waiting for her cousin to return; but right as she was about to call it a night and get some sleep, the door opened. "Hey, dude." Candy says as she enters the room nonchalantly, unaware that her cousin was glaring at her.

"Where the hell have you been?" Katie asked as she stood up from her own bed. "I have been waiting for you all night."

"Jeez...sorry for partying all night, as per usual." The blonde tomboy uttered as she walks over to her bed and laid down on it. "Turns out that one of those two boys who were staring at us from earlier already had a girlfriend, and when she found out about what he's been doing, she got all upset; so, I had to spend the last few hours sorting things out between them."

"Right..." Katie muttered in a unconvinced tone.

"Anyways, what were you wanting to talk to me about?"

"That..." Katie went over to her bed, sat down, and then proceeded to explain. "So, I've been giving it some thought recently, and I've even spoke to my dad about it on a few occasions, and it wasn't until he informed me that I only need four years here to earn my dental degree that I've eventually made up my mind and came to this decision." She paused so that she can take a deep breath, before proceeding to rip off the bandage. "I'm planning to move back to Simport."

"No shit?" Candy asked in surprise, staring at her cousin with her eyes widened.

"No shit..." Katie replied in a serious tone of voice. "Also, you're gonna be coming along with me, and you'll be living at my house with me and my dad."

"You're joking?" Candy then asked in an unamused tone. "You want me to come live with you and Uncle Maxwell?"

"Yes."

"Why the heck do you guys want me to live with you?" Candy asked after letting out a bitter scoff. "You know your dad isn't the 'party all night' type, and you definitely know that he would absolutely hate having me living under the same roof as him."

"Well, there are multiple reasons why you're gonna be living with us, Candy." Katie stated as she stood up from her bed in order to turn off the lamp. "One, you've been living here by yourself for the past few years with no relatives or home, other than here; so, it only seems right that you come with me. Two, you don't really have anywhere, or anyone, to live with in Simport, other than us. Third, and this is something that I'm surprised you didn't take into consideration, with how many clubs there are in Simport, that place seems right up your alley." She then sat back down. "Shall I continue?"

"Uh...no." Candy says as she covered herself in her blanket. "Knowing you, you'll keeping naming details until the sun rises."

"No, I wouldn't."

"Tell that to all the students from our medical class when you read that ten-thousand word essay about teeth, which took...I don't know, the whole class for you to read." Candy stated with a smirk on her face. "Nobody else in that class had the chance to read their own report, and need I remind you that you were the one who went first."

"Please...you can blame the teacher for that." Katie retorts as she glared at her cousin. "He didn't make it clear that it was less than ten-thousand words."

"Right..." Candy says through restrained laughter, which prompts Katie to groan and roll her eyes.

"Anyway, here's what I got planned for us to do first thing in the morning: since I'll most likely be the one to wake up first, I'll pack up all of my belongings and bring them out to the car, then once that's done, I'll go talk to the head-administrator and tell him about our departure; while I'm doing that, you can pack up all of your stuff and bring them out to the car; then afterwards, we can just...well, leave."

"Sounds like a plan to me, dude."

"Great." Katie lays down and then closed her eyes. "I'll see you in the morning, Candy."

"Same..." Candy replied with a yawn, before quickly falling asleep afterwards.

'Ah, I knew all that partying was bound to tire her out...' The brown-haired tomboy thought to herself, before eventually falling asleep soon after.

The next day...

Once morning came around, Candy woke up with a big stretch, then she turned her head to look at her cousin's bed, and as she expected, Katie was gone, along with all of her stuff; now all that's left to do is for the former to collect all of her stuff and leave as well. First, she went over to the closet and took out all of her clothes from it, then she proceeded to put them all in her sports-bag; once that was done, she went over to the desk and collected her laptop and Smartphone, then she placed both of them into her backpack; finally, she went into the bathroom and collected any essentials that Katie forgot to bring out of there, because she knew that the studious tomboy would flip if ONE toothbrush accidentally gets left behind. Once she got everything packed, she exits the room and headed downstairs, both of her luggage in hand as she left.

Upon exiting the girl's dorm, Candy made her way over to where the parking-lot was, pulling her car-keys out of her pocket in the process. She pressed one of the buttons on the remote that was attached to the ring, popping the trunk open for her to place her stuff inside. Normally, she'd put her luggage in the backseat of her car whenever she'd go around town, since she was usually a 'Lone Wolf' most of the time; but due to her cousin having much more delicate items than her, she had to put her stuff in the trunk, even if she absolutely hated it due to a few extra minutes getting everything of hers out...

Coincidentally enough, once Candy placed all of her luggage into her trunk, Katie came running up to her. "Hey, I'm back." The latter of the two tomboys says upon approaching her cousin. "Are you ready to go now?"

"Yep." Candy replied after she closed the trunk. "Are you ready to go?"

"You bet." Katie answered as she went over to the front-seat, getting inside upon approaching it. "So, from what I've gathered when I was estimating the distance of both this town and Simport along with the travel time, it should take us approximately five hours for us to get there. Also-just wanna give you the heads-up now-once we get to town, Crystal's gonna be meeting us somewhere near my house."

"When did this part of the plan came to be?"

"I gave her a call and informed her the plan before I talked to our headmaster." Katie replied buckling her seatbelt in the process. "Unfortunately, she wasn't specific whether she'll be meeting us somewhere on the same street as my house, or if she'll be meeting us somewhere on the block; but we won't have to worry about that until we reach Simport."

"Alright." Candy agreed before starting up her car, then slowly proceeding to pull out of the space she was parked in. "So, shall we listen to some music on the way there?"

"Are we going to be listening to your usual loud and mindless techno music, or are we going to listen to what I usually listen to?"

"We are not going to be spending the next five hours listening to Good Champagne."

"It's Good Charlotte." Katie corrected her cousin; the latter was never really good at naming artists that were considered pop punk, especially any of the ones that the former was a fan of.

"Uh...they don't ring a bell to me either."

"Seriously?" The more studious of the two tomboys asked in an irritated groan, before pulling her phone out of her pocket while placing her headphones into her ears. "You know what; forget it. I'll just listen to music on my phone instead."

"Whatever you say, dude." Candy says nonchalantly, before reaching for her car's radio and then turning it on, allowing loud techno music, that sounds like it came from the nineties, to start playing.

After noticing that her cousin turned her radio on, Katie turned the volume on her phone all the way up and then leaned back in her chair, allowing the song 'The Anthem' by Good Charlotte to play. She then took a deep breath and closed her eyes, allowing one of her favorite songs of all time to relax her before they arrived at her hometown. 'Look out, Simport; here we come.' She thought as a smile came to the studious tomboy's face.

Note: So, I've been taking a bit of a hiatus from writing MySims fics, since lately, I've been, like, extremely busy this Summer; mostly due to my jobbeing hectic, as always, but these past few weeks felt as if it's worse than before. Anyway, since I'd rather not get into detail about that, I'll just say the other reason why I've been planning to start this story over from scratch; two reasons: one, I wasn't happy with where it was going, and some of the decisions I've made in it; and second, it got difficult for me to try and balance every plot line at once, my busy-as-heck life made this part even more stressful for me. So, as I've previously stated in the Total Drama story, the amount of subplots will be minimal (like maybe two or three at best).

This story will focus on Chaz and Katie's relationship, Crystal's relationship with her former clique, and Candy and her duo of partiers. As for James, Jenny, and some other characters, they'll be focused on in a different story; however, they might get mentioned by some of the characters in passing. It might not be the best idea to some, but hopefully this will be able to help me not make the same mistake of 'delete the story and start over' garbage I've been known to do.

Anyway, here's hoping that this version of the story is good to you, my fellow readers; and until next time, I will see you in the next chapter.
