Chapter Fourteen: Is this really worth it?
The following day and during their first period of class, Caleb and Elizabeth were talking to each other when their teacher had walked into the class. Elizabeth stated "Just another day" and she leaned back in her seat once more. Caleb chuckled a bit and he replied "It's always another day for us darling" and their teacher stated "Alright students". The woman added "As you know the prom is coming up on this Saturday, I should remind you to behave yourself".
The woman said "We already have two student's here that are going to be parents eventually so please keep them as an example". Caleb replied "Okay hold on now, now it seems like you're just targeting us now just for one thing". Their teacher had stated "Well you're both Sophomores and you're also going to be parents eventually, there's a lot to think about". Caleb responded "Yea well, if it was such an issue then we wouldn't be going through with it".
Elizabeth leaned back in her chair, she did not want to get involved with this because she may end up saying something she'll regret saying. Caleb, was defending the both of them, because it was something that they shouldn't be attacked for. Ezra walked into the class and he said "Sorry teach but imma need to steal Elizabeth and Caleb, it's important". The two had looked at each other and they got up and walked out now.
Caleb asked "What's going on brother? Like I haven't seen you this worried since that night" and Ezra turned around and he said "Caleb, it's not good really". Ezra stated "Mom and dad are thinking about sending you to Hearst because of what's going on". Caleb looked at his brother and he said "I'd be damned, we both know I'd get kicked out in a day". Ezra replied "You think I didn't know that I'm trying to tell them for the sake of your education to keep you here".
Elizabeth had seemed rather annoyed at this but Caleb placed his arm around her which he just said "Relax darling, I promise you we'll get it figured out". Elizabeth nodded before she said "I ain't gonna let you leave either, besides we already came this far". Ezra chuckled a bit before he said "You two really do fit each other I will say". Caleb replied "Yeah I know that me and her fit each other, I just wish we had met way before the issue with Zoe".
Elizabeth stated "Well at least we met when we did, and besides I think that party just helped us find each other much better" she chuckled a bit. Caleb smirked and he said "That is true, besides you looked good that night" and Elizabeth just said "Thanks darling". The three were walking together, however when they got near the office they heard talking. They went near the office and they looked only to find that Max, Zoe, Brian and some woman were there.
Michael came up from behind to ask them "What's going on?" he looked to notice the students and he said "What's hearst doing here". Ezra replied "It's about Elizabeth my guess" Elizabeth only asked "Who's the brunette or whoever that woman is". Michael looked closely and he said "Her name is Kara Sinclare, she's one of those unliked prep girls". Michael had added "She's got a real attitude problem, worse than Zoe in a long shot".
Elizabeth asked "Should I be worried?" and Michael honestly replied "If I were to be honest, yes you should be because she has the power to ruin you if she wanted". Michael added "However if she knows what is for the best, she'll leave you alone". Caleb shrugged Michael and said "They saw us" which Michael said "Guys get behind me". Caleb said "I ain't gonna hide, I have to stand up for my woman at some point".
Michael replied "Caleb, I'm sure enough that Elizabeth would be glad to know you're willing to do this however I rather do it on my own then to cause issues for you two". Caleb didn't want to make it seem like he was weak, but Michael was truly concerned. Max had come over to them but Michael got in the way, all he said was "You got nerves to show up here". Max only said "get out of my way, before I make you" and Michael chuckled now.
Michael replied "You ain't laying a hand on my friend" and he had popped his bones now rather ready to take him on in a brawl now. Max said "I ain't gonna repeat myself, get out of my damn way" and Michael replied "No I ain't, Make me". Max and Michael had appeared to be standing still waiting for the next move from either one of them. Caleb stood in front of Elizabeth, and Max only said "Pfft look at this, Caleb needs to have someone else stand up".
Michael said "Leave them out of this, you already made the issue by coming here and thinking you're going to do something to my friends". Max said "Pathetic, You know Zoe was right about you then" and Michael had only punched Max now for that. Michael had said "Do not bring that witch's name up again, far as I am concerned Zoe's just a burlap sack". Max went after Michael now and a fight had broken out now and they weren't getting involved in it.
However Michael ended up beating Max in that fight and it took Ezra and Caleb to pull him back and the four had stood there and they watched the Hearst Students now. Zoe watched both Caleb and Elizabeth now, she noticed something. Caleb was primarily protecting Elizabeth's belly like something was going on and she put two and two together. Zoe had shrugged Kara and the two had looked at this which they figured it all out.
Kara stated "Elizabeth's pregnant, you guys didn't tell me that she was pregnant" and Bryan had replied "I didn't know it either I just tagged along with Max". Michael had only said "Wait what now" and he looked at the three, which Elizabeth stated "Surprise". Zoe was speechless because of this, she would have never thought that they would get this far. All she asked was "You two?" and Caleb only nodded "Yeah we did, your point it".
Kara and Zoe had looked at each other then at Brian, they didn't know what they should do now because they didn't know the whole story now. Only then Brian stated "I wish to make a truce now, in the regards between us Caleb". Zoe added "I just wanted to say congrats on the news to you two, and I am sorry for the things that I had done". Ezra remained quiet before he just asked "And you two are serious with this as well right".
Brian replied "Of course I am serious, after all I would rather make an end to this. I don't want to be around when Max decides to do something more crazy". Zoe had stated "I would rather make a truce now before I get off with my own life, I don't want to keep the reputation". Michael had only said "Nah if we're gonna do the truce, I know the place". Michael smirked now, both Ezra and Elizabeth knew what he was thinking now, since they saw the place once.
Will they finally find a truce now or will everything go to shambles at the very last minute? They were only about to find out how things will go now.
