Max's Pov - Am I really kissing Jade right now? It all feels so surreal... like I'm in a dream I don't want to wake up from. Let me open my eyes and make sure this isn't a dream. Nope. Definitely not a dream right now. This is very much real, Max. I don't know if it's just me or I like Jade and her tiny baby bump. Knowing there's a child growing inside of her kind of turns me on... Oh God, I hope she's not reading my thoughts right now.

We pull away from each other again, as we look deeply into one another's eyes. "I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that." Jade pulls away from my grasp and turns her back to me. Was this too soon? I think it was and I held her... maybe that was too much for her.

"No... I should be the one saying sorry. I pushed myself onto you, you weren't ready for that."

Jade turned back around. Her bra now off with her breasts fully exposed to me. She was heavily blushing as her snowy eyes met my azure eyes. Oh God, I hope she can't tell that I'm hella turned on. Hella? I haven't said that since Chloe's death.

"Max..."

"What is it, Jade?" Max, don't sound so damn desperate. "I-I don't feel too go-" Jade fell to her knees and I quickly caught her before she hit the ground.

"Jade! Jade!" Oh God. No, no, no. "Jade!"

I had to call in an ambulance to come and get Jade. Which woke up the other girls and made them wonder what was happening. I was first reluctant to go with Jade, but I was the only person left in her life. Dana and Juliet were glad to see me out of my room and coming along with Jade. I told them I would fill them in on the details later, and they would come by in the morning to check in on the two of us.

I forgot about how much I hate hospitals. There's been doctors coming in and out of Jade's room to check on her, run tests, and so on. They weren't sure when Jade would become conscious, but I had to tell them about her being pregnant. I wasn't sure how many weeks but they said they'll run an ultrasound to be sure the baby was okay.

God, it's five in the morning. My phone is about to die and I didn't bring my charger. I smell like a damn barn, and wearing clothes that haven't been washed in days. But none of that matters at the moment. I need to focus all my energy on Jade right now. Come on, Jade. Please open your eyes. Please...

I held Jade's hand in mine, hoping she would feel that I was by her side. A nurse then came in to do the ultrasound on Jade and check on the baby. She smiled and asked: "How are you doing?"

"I'm okay. Just worried about her." As I kept my attention to Jade.

"That's understandable. I'm going to check on the baby and see how it's doing." The nurse moved Jade's hospital gown and exposed her tiny baby bump. She rubbed clear gel on her belly and then put the device on Jade's baby bump. The nurse looked at the monitor as did I.

"Right in this area... is the baby." The nurse pointed it out to me. I looked in awe as I saw the baby growing inside Jade. I then asked: "A-Are we able to hear the baby's heartbeat?"

"Yes. Let me put the sound on." I lit up hearing the sound of the baby's heartbeat. I had so many emotions hitting me all at once, that all I could do was just shed tears. Thank God. I'm so glad the baby is okay. "The baby's heartbeat is strong and sounds normal. Now... we just wait for mom to wake up."

The nurse removed the device away from Jade's belly, gently wiped the gel off her belly, and pulled her gown back down. "You should get some rest. We're not sure how long it'll be until she wakes up."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome. Everything will be okay." The nurse reassures me with a gentle smile. She leaves the room and closes the door behind her. I held Jade's hand and rested my head on the side of her bed. I then found myself drifting off as the weeks of crying and mourning finally caught up to me.

I didn't know how long I was passed out for, must have been long enough since both Dana and Juliet were here visiting. I woke up with a blanket wrapped around my body. My hand still holding Jade's. I looked up at Jade, realizing she was still not conscious.

"Afternoon Max" A quiet voice said to me from the other side of Jade's hospital bed. I looked over to see Dana sitting in a chair by the window looking up from her phone. "It's already noon!?"

"Shh, calm down, Max. Juliet and I didn't want to wake you. You seemed like you needed the rest, especially after everything that's happened." I looked around the room and asked: "Where's Juliet?"

"She went to get coffee for the three of us. She should be back in a bit." I looked down at Jade's hand, rubbing the back of it gently with my thumb. "Jade had asked about you yesterday."

"She did?" I guess it makes sense. Although I wasn't thinking of her, I'm glad she worried for me. "Jade seemed like she had a lot on her mind yesterday. Not only about you but I'm sure about some personal stuff as well."

I looked up at Jade as tears started to fill my eyes. "Dana... she's pregnant. She doesn't know who the father is or how it even happened. But... I think I might know who it is." I feel sick just thinking about it, but it's the only logical answer to everything. "Oh God. Max, I didn't know she was... who do you think is the father?" This is it Max. You need to tell Dana who might be the father.

"I-I think or at least hope it's not..." Come on, Max. It's just a few damn words! Just fucking say it! "You can tell me, Max."

"I think it was Jefferson who got Jade pregnant."
