Ok, let's get back to the story!

Jiraiya sighed as he sat on the windowsill of his and Naruto's new room, listening to the sounds of the blonde's snoring as he looked into the night sky. After the events of the other day, he explained the destruction to the previous inn owner, and despite the fact that he paid for all the damage caused, they were still asked to leave. He was grateful that word of what happened didn't go around, so he was able to get them a room at a different inn. Normally he would want to relocate to a different town in case the Akatsuki returned, but he had promised his disciple and a certain Hyuga girl that he'd wait for her until tomorrow afternoon. The thoughts went back to her request.

(Flashback)

"Please allow me to come with you on your quest to find Lady Tsunade!"

Jiraiya blinked, taken back a bit. "Come again?"

"I'd like to come with you to find Lady Tsunade!" Hinata repeated.

Jiraiya got his bearings in check, then frowned. "I appreciate your willingness to help, Hinata, but I don't think it's a good idea for you to come with us."

Hinata looked disheartened by his refusal for a moment before steeling herself again.

"I promise I won't get in the way! I'll help in any way I can! So please let me join you!" She exclaimed strongly, bowing to him.

Naruto was surprised at the scene before him. He's seen Hinata determine before, but never like this. He figured she'd want to go back and look after Sasuke and Kakashi sensei, but it seems to him that she wanted to find this Lady Tsunade person just as badly as he did. She wanted to save them just like he does.

"Come on, Pervy Sage!" Naruto turned to his teacher and said, "Hinata's the eyes of Team 7. If we're looking for this lady, then our chances of finding her will go way up with Hinata's help!"

"Look kids, I-"

"Master Jiraiya, may I speak to you in private?"

The older man turned to Gai, who was looking very serious. He sighed and turned back to the kids, saying, "Stay put, both of you."

The adults went to the end of the hall, away from the loose ears of the genin.

Jiraiya leaned against the wall, crossing his arms as he eyed Gai "So, what do you want to talk about?"

As if I didn't already know...

"Master Jiraiya, as a favor to me, let Hinata come along with you on your journey."

He sighed, shaking his head. "This isn't a field trip, Gai."

"I know that, but you have to admit Naruto makes a point. With Hinata's byakugan, your chances of finding Lady Tsunade would increase tremendously. Her cousin, a student of mine, has been the saving grace of my team in situations like these." The jonin said this with pride in his voice.

"I get that, believe me. But you're forgetting a few things. I'm not sure how long it will take to find Tsunade. Naruto is an orphan; I don't have to answer to anyone if I want to take him out of the village for some time. But Hinata is a member of the Hyuga clan, and I don't think they'll be pleased if she's gone for a long period without this being an official mission. And two, the Akatsuki has already made an attempt to capture Naruto; who's to say they won't try again? She's lucky she wasn't injured too badly this time, but that may not be the case next time. I already feel bad for not stopping Sasuke when I had the chance; I don't want to put her at risk." The Sannin explained.

Gai narrowed his brow a bit "Master Jiraiya, there's another reason why she wants to go with you."

"And that is?"

"A promise."

Jiraiya looked at Gai as a melancholy expression appeared on his face.

"During the Chunin exams, another student of mine was badly injured, so much so that not even the medical ninja we currently have in the village could help. Despite his injuries, he still tried his best to continue his training. As the days went by, I could see his light dimming and him losing hope of ever getting better, but one visit from Hinata and that light was reignited."

Gai looked over at Hinata and Naruto; both were kneeling beside Sasuke. "She made him a promise to find Lady Tsunade and bring her back to the village."

"Say what?!" Jiraiya exclaimed,

"I know it may sound silly, but I've seen her efforts. According to my students and Kakashi, during missions and with outside visitors, she asks about any information pertaining to Lady Tsunade, but unfortunately, no luck. But she hasn't given up. You saw the look in her eyes; she's determined, even more so now that members of her team need help." Gai turned to Jiraiya, giving him a slight bow. "I'll deal with her father and clan, so please let her go."

(Flashback end)

Jiraiya sighed again. In the end, he agreed to wait in town with Naruto while Gai took Hinata and Sasuke back to the village. Hinata would prepare, and Gai would bring her back by noon.

Now I have two kids to look after. As if one wasn't enough.

He turned to Naruto and chuckled as the blonde let out a very loud snore.

Well, at least Hinata is respectful.

Said Hyuga was still awake, sitting by an unconscious Sasuke in his dark hospital room, with only a bit of moonlight shining from the window. It was late and way past visiting hours, but one of the nurses, the same one that was in charge of Hinata's care during her stay, was in charge of Sasuke. She and Hinata became good company, so when Hinata asked her for this favor, she was a bit hesitant but agreed to leave the window open so she could sneak in.

Hinata wished that she could see Kakashi sensei too. He was only a few doors down, but she couldn't push her luck; her nurse friend could get into a lot of trouble if they caught her.

She sighed, continuing to look at Sasuke. Her heart hurts to see him in this state. Bandages wrapped around his broken wrist and bruised abdomen, and he was unresponsive to everything the medics tried. It seems Lady Tsunade is the only one who can save him now.

And she was going to bring her back. She had to because, despite what the others said, this was her fault. If she hadn't suggested the training section, if she hadn't given into Sasuke's plea, he wouldn't be like this. Still, she couldn't help but think back to this afternoon. She was trying to get up despite being in pain, and when she heard Sasuke screaming, her eyes immediately viewed the scene, and two things caught her eye. The first was Sasuke's terrorized expression—how he stared out and screamed at what really wasn't there.

But the second thing was what puzzled her the most.

It was Itachi's expression.

Maybe not his expression, more like his eyes. While his facial expression stayed cold and neutral, his eyes, for only those few moments, showed sadness, pain, and regret. It was as if he hated what he was doing to his little brother.

But why was that? Why would he feel guilt now after everything that happened between them?

Maybe her eyes were playing tricks on her. After all, she was thrown hard; maybe she hit her head or something. Still, she couldn't help feeling that there was more to Uchiha's story, but for now she has to focus on getting Sasuke and the others healed.

"H-Hinata…."

She jumped a bit when he called out for her. Looking down, he was still heavily under the genjutsu, but every now and then he would whisper her name.

She couldn't help but cup his face, her thumb stroking his cheek. Smiling a bit as his face relaxed under her touch.

"I will bring her back, Sasuke. I'll help save you and sensei and get Lee healed. I swear it."

The trio were now walking down a path in silence. Gai had brought Hinata back fully prepared and assured Jiraiya that everything was settled with her family. And to the Sannin's dismay, he gave Naruto a pair of full body spandex that he and Lee wear.

Hinata walked alongside Naruto, worried. He had been unusually quiet since they left.

He must still be thinking about what happened the other day.

He stopped, causing her to stop as well. "Naruto?"

Jiraiya paused, turning toward the kids. "What's up?"

"So, Pervy Sage..." Naruto started, looking up at him, 'What actually do those guys want with me anyway?'

Hinata's eyes widened at the question. What did they want with Naruto?

Jiraiya looked at Naruto, then at Hinata, debating with himself whether or not to answer him.

"Come on, out with it, Pervy Sage. You know, don't you?"

The wind blew softly around them as Jiraiya continued to look at the two before answering, "Don't get the wrong idea. It's not you they want; it's what's inside of you."

Naruto placed his hand over his stomach, gripping the cloth over it "What the hell is this thing anyway? Some horrible demon that terrorized the Leaf village. That's why everyone is so afraid of it, right? So why do these guys want it so bad?"

"Before I answer that, I need to make something clear." The Toad Sage turned his eyes to the young Hyuga "Hinata, what I'm about to say is a forbidden topic to speak of. It's not pleasant and may change your view of things. That being said, can I trust you not to say a word to anyone about this?"

Hinata looked at him and at Naruto, who had this worried look on his face, refusing to meet her gaze. She turned back to the older man and nodded.

He sighed and explained, "The Nine Tailed Fox has appeared in times of consequence, all through the ages. A gastly spirit destroying all that lies in its path. As powerful as any act of nature, men trembled before it. As for what they would want with that malicious monstrosity, that's a hard question to answer, Naruto. I honestly can't say. I suppose with the Nine-Tails sealed up inside you, they might be thinking of somehow seizing control of that power and blending it to their will. It's a bitter pill to swallow knowing that those two will be after you now. But that is your fate."

He then smirked, "Not to worry though; after all, you will have me around."

Naruto smiled, answering immediately, "Oh well, I'll just have to hurry up and get stronger, no other choice."

Jiraiya and Hinata both looked at him, one with patience, the other astounded.

"Alright! Let's find this Tsunade woman you're talking about, so she can fix up Sasuke and Kakashi sensei, and we can get down to some serious training!"

Jiraiya couldn't help but smile at Naruto's reaction to all that was said.

This kid's got a one track mind.

No words could express how shocked Hinata was at Naruto's behavior. It was just confirmed that he was carrying the demon fox that attacked the village almost 13 years ago, and here he is brushing it off, thinking only about getting stronger. Her shocked expression melted into one of admiration.

Naruto, you really are one of a kind.

Soon after, they reached an enormous crater with staircases going to the bottom.

"Come on, Pervy Sage! What are we waiting for? Let's start my training already!" Naruto said this excitedly.

Jiraiya chuckled a bit "Alright, don't get ahead of yourself. I have to train you while we gather information on Tsunade; otherwise, it's not going to mean anything to you."

"Huh? Gather information?"

"That's right. Now, Hinata, you've been trying to gather some information on her as well, right?"

Hinata looked up at him, nodding, "Yes sir; however, there have been no leads."

"You talked to some of the travelers visiting the village; that was a good start. However, you were looking at this in the wrong way."

Her head tilted in conclusion "I have?"

"Remember what I've said? Tsunade is a sucker when it comes to gambling, plus she loves to go anywhere she can get a good drink. So it's most likely that taverns, bars, and casinos are the best places to start gathering information."

"I see, but I'm underage, so there's no way for me to gather information at those places."

"Which is why I'll be the one gathering the information on Tsunade from here on. I'll let you know when I need your incredible eyes, but for now, you two will focus on your own training."

When they reached the edge of the crater, the genin were surprised to see a large town inside. As they made their way through, Naruto's smile widened as he saw the festivities taking place.

"Aw man, this is gonna be great! I've never seen anything like this in my life!"

Hinata looked uncertain. "Shouldn't you be starting your training now, or maybe we should start gathering information?"

Jiraiya gave her a reassuring smile "Like I said, leave the information gathering to me. Besides, you and Naruto are kids; enjoy the festival, and we'll start your training, ok? After all, downtime is important too."

"Alright!" Naruto cheered.

He opened his bag and grinned as he took out his frog-shaped wallet, which looked like it was about to burst.

"Whoa, baby! That is one fat frog you've got. You're filthy rich!" Jiraiya exclaimed.

Naruto smiled, rubbing his cheek against it. "Yeah, I've got a pretty big stash! I've been saving up bit by bit from my missions."

He turned to Hinata, ready to get started. "Come on, Hinata! Let's go!"

"Stop right there, Naruto!" Jiraiya commanded before taking the frog wallet away, "I'm going to hold onto your wallet for you."

"Hey!" Naruto protested, turning to get his wallet back, but Jiraiya held it out of his reach. "What do you think you're doing?"

The toad sage pulled out some bills and gave them to Naruto "Here, you can have this much to spend."

"What?! Only 300?!"

"I don't want to hear it! Honoring the shinobi's three prohibitions is the duty of any upstanding ninja!

"Three prohibitions?" Hinata tilted her head, confused. "I've never heard of them."

"Yeah, what are you talking about?" Naruto said, looking at him skeptically.

"You're kidding?! Don't you know? The three prohibitions are a trio of temptations that will bring a shinobi to ruin. They are alcohol, pretty women, and worst of all, money." Jiraiya explained.

Hinata and Naruto shared a look before Naruto said, "Well, none of those things really apply to me all that much, so we're cool. I mean, I'm underage, so I can't drink yet! I don't really get the whole woman thing! And I worked so hard to save all that money that I don't really feel like spending a ton of it!"

"YOU LITTLE FOOL!" Both genin jumped at the toad sage's outburst, "Don't take money lightly. Once you start spending it, you'll never stop!"

"Money possesses a frightful power. This woman, Tsunade, we're searching for, has ruined herself with the pursuit of it!"

"Pretty big talk for someone so addicted to the ladies," Naruto said, crossing his arms.

Hinata looked between them, looking lost. "Addict to what?"

Jiraiya sputtered a bit before pushing Naruto's head down, forcing out a laugh. "HA HA HA! Oh Naruto, you little jokester, you!"

He moved the blonde closer to him and whispered, "Don't say stuff like that in front of her!"

"What? The truth? That you're a big old perv?" Naruto deadpanned, "You're wasting your time trying to hide it. I told you, Hinata is the eye of our team. She'll find out sooner or later."

"You say that as if I have no control!"

"That's because you don't."

"WHY YOU LITTLE-"

"Is everything okay?" Hinata asked, cutting him off.

Jiraiya forced out another laugh "Of course, I'm just having a little talk with my student."

Naruto rolled his eyes but said nothing.

"Well ok…" She pulled out her own wallet and handed it to him. "I suppose I must do the same if you're taking Naruto's."

Jiraiya looked at the wallet for a moment before pushing it back toward her. "No, you keep yours."

"Huh?" Both genin voices.

"Why does she get to keep hers?"

"Because one, she comes from a highly respected clan, so she has discipline and self control. You, on the other hand, are a loose cannon and have no discipline. And two, she's not my student; you are."

Naruto huffed as Hinata quietly put her wallet away.

"Now I'm going to go see if I can gather some information. And the places I'll be in may not be places for underage kids." Jiraiya added when he saw Hinata open her mouth to speak.

The young Hyuga sighed, closing it.

Jiraiya took off his backpack and handed it to Naruto. "I want you to hold on to my bag for me, ok? And I would like for you two to stay together. If you two happen to get lost somehow,

You can always rely on my tracker toad to sniff out my scent. "There is no need for Hinata to waste her chakra on finding me."

Naruto tossed the extra bag over his own and stuck his tongue out at the Sannin before jogging away. "Hmph! Come on, Hinata. Let's go!"

"Oh, um, ok! Thank you, Master Jiraiya and best of luck!" The young bluenette said, giving him a nod before jogging after her friend, "Naruto, wait for me, please!"

Jiraiya chuckled internally as he smiled.

Gotta keep reminding myself that those two are still just kids.

Hinata stared bewilderedly at Naruto as he brought fried noodles. To add to the mountain of food they were already carrying. When she caught up to him, Naruto suggested getting food and volunteered to pay for it all. Despite her protests, Naruto zoomed through all the food stands, ordering what looked the best. The blond was about to head to the next stand when she blocked his way.

"Naruto, please, we have enough." She gestured to the two large bags of food they had. "Let's go somewhere quiet to eat, then I'll pay you back for half of the food."

He looked at everything they had and nodded. "You're right, let's go! I saw a place where we can eat in peace."

"Naruto, let me pay you back, please!" She said, following after him.

They found a secluded place away from the business of the festival. They sat and ate in silence for a while. The bluenette looked over at her friend, noticing that as he ate, his enthusiasm decreased little by little. She knew it couldn't be from the amount of food because she had seen him finish at least twenty five bowls of Ichiraki ramen.

Putting down her plate, she asked him, "Naruto, is everything okay?"

He stopped mid-bite, clenching the chopsticks in his hand as he put the plate down.

She knew something was wrong.

Of course she did; she can practically see through me without her byakugan.

"I-I guess everything is just catching up with me now." He said. "It's all so overwhelming, you know. I mean, this trip was just supposed to be me and Pervy Sage doing some training and finding this Tsunade lady. Now I find out that this evil group of shinobi are after me, and one of them happens to be Sasuke's brother."

Hinata watched as Naruto grabbed at his abdomen, right in the center of the sealing mark, and gripped his tight "All because of this thing, this demon inside me. I always wondered why the people in our village hated me so much, why they were so disgusted by me, and now I know."

"Naruto." She reached out, grabbing his shoulder as a sign of comfort. "I can't imagine what you're feeling right now, but you have to remember that you have people by your side—friends that will help you, like Sasuke and me."

"But why?" He asked, facing her; she could see the vulnerability in his eyes "After hearing that, why are you not afraid of me?"

"Because you are Naruto Uzumaki, a member of Team 7, and the person who will be the next Hokage!" She exclaimed

Naruto's eyes widen at this "Hinata, I-"

"Naruto, if I'm being honest, I had a feeling something was different about your chakra. There were times where I could see and feel that you were using a chakra that was darker and more powerful than your own. When you and that giant toad transformed into the Nine Tailed Fox, it became clear to me where that chakra was coming from. Master Jiraiya just confirmed it."

"So you knew, well, kind of knew, and you're still not scared of me?"

Hinata gives him a smile "Naruto, I have admired you for a long time, and in all that time, you have not once given me a reason to be scared of you. This demon sealed inside of you is not you. You are you, and anyone who knows you as well as I do would feel the same way.

Naruto felt himself tear up as a wave of relief came over him. Finding out about the demon fox within him was scary on its own, but the thing that scared him the most was what his teammates and friends would think of him. It was hard living in the hateful eyes of the villagers, but the thing that made it bearable, that made everything he does and fights for worthwhile, was the support of his friends. Just knowing that Hinata didn't think any less of him lifted a big weight off his chest.

"Besides, that demon is not the number one hyperactive ninja who will be Hokage someday, is it?"

The blonde quickly wiped the tears from his eyes and quickly stood up, grinning, "Of course not; that title belongs to yours truly, Naruto Uzumaki!"

Hinata smiled, happy that her friend was back to his old self.

Naruto sat back down beside her and opened another dish. "You know, Hinata, you're a really great friend."

She blushed a little at the compliment "And so are you, Naruto."

"Thanks; I'm glad you think so."

The bluenette looked at him, a bit confused. "Why would I think otherwise?"

The blonde rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, giving her an awkward smile. "I mean, I'm not as close to you as you are to Sasuke."

Hinata's blush intensifies "W-What do you mean by that?"

"Well, after that whole thing with Neji and the tense vibes coming from you, your dad, Sasuke, and Kakashi sensei after the Third Hokage's funeral, I'm like the only one who doesn't know what's going on with your life."

Relieved a bit, Hinata's face softened as she took in his words. It's true that he was the only one who didn't know the ordeal she faced with her father during that month or the new goal she has. Kakashi sensei is her guardian and teacher, so of course he would know all about the issues of her clan. Sasuke pushed Kakashi into giving him the information, and she did tell him more about it. Honestly, besides Kakashi, she didn't want to burden them with her problems; they had their own things going on, and she didn't want to add to them. Still, if everyone else on the team knew, then Naruto deserved to know too.

"Naruto, I'm sorry you felt left out. To tell you the truth, I would've preferred if you and Sasuke didn't know. Not only because I didn't want to burden you with my problems, but I know how you two can get when you hear something you don't like."

Naruto gave a worried look "Is it that bad?"

"That depends on how you look at it."

After that, she told him the whole story—about what happened when she was young, her father's neglected behavior, why Neji used to hate her, the story behind the curse mark, her and her father's fight, and her dream for her clan. Suffice to say, Naruto's reaction at the end was just what she expected.

Angry veins popped on his head as he shouted, "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOUR CLAN?!"

Hinata held up her hands, trying to pacify him "Naruto, it's ok."

"No, it's not! It's wrong, so wrong! I mean, a seal that turns someone's brain into mush, and they put that on their own family?! And your dad! What the hell?! How could he pin you against your five year old little sister?! Aren't dads supposed to keep their daughters safe and spoil them or something?! And just brushing off your goal like that! What a jerk!" The blond angrily ranted.

The young Hyuga sighed. " Sasuke practically said the same thing too. But really, Naruto, things are fine now, at least with my father. He still doesn't believe I can remove the seal, but he is becoming a better father; he even agreed to let me come with you and Master Jiraiya."

"It's just…" Naruto angrily ruffled his hair. "It's not right; I mean, can't Kakashi sensei do anything about this, or Gai sensei, he can't approve of this happening to his student, right?"

She sadly shook her head. "Despite being our senseis, they are still outsiders, and no outsider has the right to interfere with the affairs of any clan."

"Not even the Hokage? He had to know this was happening, right?"

"The Hokage's job is to watch over the village and be a leader to his people. Would you want to follow someone—an outsider—who changes your traditions and way of life?"

Naruto's anger deflated and was replaced with a frustrated expression.

"Besides, that's not how I want my clan to change." She said, her expression hardening, "Change like that must happen within the clan. It was the main branch that caused this feud, so a member of the main branch has to end it. As the firstborn of the Hyuga leader and a member of the main branch, I will be the one to make the change."

Naruto's eyes widened at her declaration. It was still a surprise to him to see the once shy and soft spoken girl so confident and determined instead of being a stuttering mess.

He couldn't help but smile "Alright, let's do it! I'll help in any way I can."

"Thank you, Naruto, for listening to me and supporting my dream." She smiled and said, "But for now, we need to focus on finding Lady Tsunade and on your training."

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean we can't ask Pervy Sage if he knows any curse removing jutsu."

She blinked. "I didn't think of that!" She exclaimed, and excitement coursed through her body. "Surely an amazing shinobi like Master Jiraiya would know who to remove the mark. I bet Lady Tsunade can help too!"

Naruto sweatdropped at the praise his friend was giving the Pervy Sage.

I'm going to feel really sorry for her when she finds out what kind of guy Pervy Sage really is.

After Naruto finished most of the food, the genin decided to work it off by playing the games the festival offered. When they were done, Naruto saw a stall with masks and decided to buy one.

"What do you think? Pretty sweet, right?" He asked her, showing the mask.

"It's very nice, Naruto, but was it really necessary?" Hinata asked.

"Come on, it'll look like I'm an anbu!" He replied, putting it on.

He took a few steps before tripping over a rock, falling face first. As he went down, Jiraiya's bag fell open, scattering some of his things on the ground.

Careful, kid, you shouldn't walk around with that mask on." The mask vendor warned.

Hinata quickly knelt beside him and asked, "Are you ok, Naruto?"

"Ow.." He took off the mask, and looked up to see a book belonging to Jiraiya in front of him. "Hey, it's the Pervy Sage's check book.'

"You shouldn't be looking at that; it's not yours." She said, "And why do you keep him, Pervy Sage?"

He paid her no mind as he sat up and opened the book. "Let's see, one, ten, hundred..."

His jaw dropped at the numbers in front of his eyes.

L-Look at all those zeros!

Hinata's curiosity perked up a bit when she looked at his expression. "Naruto?"

"The guy's loaded, Hinata!" He complained, quickly gathering the scattered items "He should be treating us right now, geez!"

"Well, he is paying for our stay at inns, so I guess that's his way of treating us."

"With the numbers I saw, I bet that doesn't even make a dent in his wallet! Cheap old geezer!" He said, before reaching into his pocket and taking out the money he had left.

"Not much left; one more stand, and that will be it for the day."

"If you want, we can keep going, and I'll pay for the rest." She suggested as she came up beside him, only to find him lost in thought "Naruto?"

He pocketed the money and turned to her, smiling. "Sorry about that; anyway, let's go find Pervy Sage after this last stop."

After going to the last stand, they walked around the festival, looking for Jiraiya, with Naruto holding a grilled squid in each hand and Hinata holding her own. Honestly, she didn't have room for it, but the vendor was kind enough to give them two of the squids for free; she just couldn't say no.

Naruto was getting a bit annoyed when they couldn't find him.

Good grief, where did he run off to?!

Just after he finished that thought, they heard a loud and familiar laughter ring through the air.

They both looked at each other and followed the voice.

When they entered the establishment, to say that Hinata was shocked was an understatement. There was Master Jiraiya, the powerful Toad Sage, and one of the Legendary Sannin, lounging on a couch in the middle of the room with two young women by his side. One was all over him, and the other was pouring him another cup of sake.

"What can I say? I love the ladies!" He grinned drunkenly before catching sight of Naruto and Hinata. "Oh, hey kids, you've had your fill of the festival already, huh?"

The young Hyuga turned blue after getting over her shock, but she wasn't as blue as Naruto was when he caught sight of his frog wallet, which was once ready to burst but was now reduced to being as flat as a pancake.

"I NEED A REFRESHER! WHAT WERE THOSE PROHIBITIONS OF YOUR AGAIN?!" He snapped, jumping onto the table and getting in the Sage's face, "What's the matter with you?! You're breaking all three in one go, you dirty old!"

Hinata moved to the side quickly as the frightened women ran out the door. Not that she could blame them or blame Naruto; he had worked so hard for the money, and now it's all gone.

He turned to her and shouted, "YOU WANTED TO KNOW WHY I CALLED HIM PERVY SAGE! WELL, HERE'S THE PROOF! THIS GUY IS A LECHEROUS OLD GEEZER WHO WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET NEAR A PRETTY GIRL!"

Jiraiya, who quickly sobered up after Naruto's outburst, realized that he had just revealed his true nature to the only one who was showing him any respect on this trip. "Wait! I can explain, this is just-"

However, before he could explain himself to her, Naruto started hitting him repeatedly in the head, calling him stupid over and over again while complaining about all his hard earned money gone

With all that was happening, they didn't notice two men entering the room or that one of the squids flew out of Naruto's hand and landed on one of the men's jackets, staining the cloth.

"Watch it! Look what you did, you little punk!"

Everyone turned their attention to the new faces in the room.

"You stained the boss' brand new designer suit, you street rat! You're paying for that! A hundred thousand large!" The bodyguard demanded.

"What?! You're telling me that suit cost a hundred thousand?!" Naruto panicked

Hinata moved closer to her friend, while Jiraiya just sat there with a calm look on his face.

"That seems to be a little bit of a stretch, fellas. You expect us to believe that this monkey suit is worth a hundred thousand?"

"You looking for trouble, old man?" The boss asked, irritated at the disrespect he was shown. "Then shut your yup if you know what's good for ya."

"The boss used to be a chunin from the hidden village of the stones, the legendary dark Ninja, feared across the land!" His guard boasted.

Jiraiya smiled mockingly, crossing his arms. "This I've gotta hear! The legendary what now?"

"You're asking for it, pal! Just keep pushing!" The boss snapped, a vein popping in his head.

Seeing that the so-called ninja was about to attack, Jiraiya stood up and held out his hand "Naruto, this is perfect timing. I have a new jutsu I wanna show you. Now, pay attention!"

Both Naruto's and Hinata's eyes widen as they watch him gather chakra in his palm.

"Enough already!" The ninja lunged at the Sannin.

The gathered chakra formed an orb in his hand. Once it was complete, he thrust it into the ninja's abdomen, sending him spiraling into his guard and both spiraling out of the room and into the stand across the way.

"That was awesome!" Naruto cheered.

"Amazing, what power!" Hinata said in awe.

"And I was holding back," He said as they walked up to the injured men lying on the ground. "You two are hardly worth the trouble."

The ninja grunts as he opens his eyes, eyes widening in fright as he gets a good look at the man who sent him flying "Wait a minute, y-you're the legendary..."

Jiraiya turned to the vendor and said, "Sorry about that. I guess we kind of messed up your stand."

The injured man reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet. "H-Here! This…should cover it."

"Thanks a lot!" Jiraiya said, taking the wallet in time as the man passed out. He hands the vendor a couple bills and purchases all his balloons and water balloons.

Hinata looked at the damage done to the ninja, taking note of the spiral imprint on his abdomen.

Incredible! His chakra must have been spiraling at such a fast rate to cause this marking. I wonder what kind of jutsu this is.

"Naruto!" Jiraiya called.

"Huh?" The boy turned to him.

"Let's get going; it's time for you to train."

The young ninja smiled, finally getting to start his training. "Yes sir!"

(A/N): I hope you guys liked this chapter. Now just like Naruto, Hinata will be learning a new jutsu as well. Like before, I'd like to hear my lovely reader ideas. However, i have i a few rules. The same rules as before:

Number 1: It has to involve her chakra nature (fire and lightning, just like Sasuke!)

Number 2: Nothing involving TWIN LION FIST! That jutsu will be featured in shippuden, not now.

Number 3: Same rules to the Tensaigan as they do in rule 2. That will all happen in shippuden.

We're almost there guys, the first half will be done soon. Then the real fun begin!

See you again soon and thanks for reading!
