Hey, hey!

So just to initially warn you all. This is a dark chapter. Suicidal thoughts and reference to alcohol abuse will be in this chapter. So, you've been warned.

Enjoy the chapter!

"Why do you entertain those two teammates of yours? You're wasting their time. Granted that's what you're good at, but still. Those two are far too weak to support their weight and yours. You rely on people too much to be useful for that chaotic team you're on. It's not a right fit for you."

Neji leisurely followed behind Hinata as he escorted her back to the Hyuga compound. Freely throwing insults that popped into his mind. When they were alone it was easy for him to just speak to her how he sees fit.

Hinata was never going to do anything about it anyways.

"Two orphans. One an absolute nobody and the other the last standing Uchiha who is as selfish as they get. Seriously, please do not tell me you are a part of that disgusting Uchiha fan club. Is that why you bought all those people dinner? Are you really that truly pathetic that you have to buy affection instead of earning your pride and respect."

Neji seemed to rile himself up. Feeling sick at just thinking of Hinata's weakness. Neji was more upset at the thought that Hinata felt the need to grovel to those people. He hated that she was so weak minded she couldn't see that she was above all of that.

Neji was her cousin for heavens sake. He knew who Hinata had a stupid crush on. Who her teammates were. So, to go into the ramen hut and see Hinata being ignored by that blonde idiot and paying for food for a room full of nobodies. It set Neji off to something serious.

Know your worth you moron.

He reached over and yanked her towards him. Stopping Hinata in her tracks. He looked down at her dull eyes and grew more annoyed.

"You miss family training. You're on a dysfunctional team. You can't talk. You can barely think for yourself. Your father is just about ready to marry you off to the highest bidder. Why do you continue to just fail?"

Hinata just looked at him, but Neji knew she wasn't really looking at him at all.

She was an addict after all. She could barely think for herself anymore. "Why don't you just crawl into the bottom of one of those bottles you inhale and never crawl back out. Why don't I just tell your father your little pitiful, disgusting secret. Hmm? You useless maggot."

Finally Hinata's eyes started to focus on her cousin. She swiftly snatched her hand from him and continued to match his stare down. Neji smiled at this. Was his cousin getting angry? Did he finally struck a nerve. "You won't tell father anything."

Neji almost laughed. "Why not? What are you going to do about it?" He already knew the answer to that. Nothing. Hinata never does anything.

Hinata just continued to watch Neji. Passionless as ever, "You won't say anything because my father would need someone to blame. Blaming his useless daughter is getting old. I am destined to fail, so he would blame you by default for knowing about it all along."

The tension between the two was thick. Neji said nothing else as he walked in front of Hinata back to the Hyuga compound. Hinata silently trailing behind him.

Not many knew. No one knew really. Neji was evil, but Hinata could be worse. That's why Neji never got out of line too much.

When Hinata arrived home, she went straight to her room and changed to her training attire. Her eyes would periodically shift over to her closet. She'd look at her closet and then continued to get ready before she finally gave in. Hinata opened her closet and shuffled through it quickly, because she was on a time limit. Yet she just had to have it.

When she found her case she immediately pulled open her bottle and opened it. She chugged.

More and more. Again and again.

Before she knew it she had finished a brand-new bottle. After that she reached for another. Repeating the desperate actions she was doing a moment ago. After that she reached for another. However, there was no more.

She was all out. She would need to get more. Tonight.

She needed this drunken feeling to last her as long as possible. Hopefully until evening tomorrow.

Before meeting her father and Neji, Hinata had went to the bathroom and washed her face. The alcohol starting to settle in her stomach. The warmth from it surging through her body and releasing a calm feeling in her. She felt a little light headed and it was the best feeling ever.

When she first started escaping she would get nauseous a lot. She'd get a lot of headaches and her head would be spinning. Now she had better tolerance. A good and a bad thing.

She'd feel better after each drink instead of sick. It became something good for her instead of bad. Something she needed instead of wanted.

Hinata brushed her teeth. Washed her mouth out and made sure she smelled minty fresh for her training with her cousin. She'd hate to embarrass her father any further and show up reeking of alcohol and weakness.

When Hinata walked out of the bathroom and down to the garden where her father told her to meet them. She bypassed her sister, Hanabi. It wasn't like she didn't see Hanabi, but she didn't want to talk to her in this moment either. She could see from her peripheral vision that Hanabi had this look like she pitied Hinata. Like Hinata was someone that needed sympathy. Hinata hated those looks she'd get from the people in this house.

She wished she didn't live here. Here around all these frauds that secretly hated her.

Hanabi pitied her. Gave the impression that she wanted to protect her big sister. Yet if the situation would arise, and it was bound to happen sooner or later. Hanabi would pick for Hinata to bear the burden of the caged bird seal instead of herself.

That was the real Hanabi. A scared little girl. The real Hinata was the one that always protected her fearful little sister.

When Hinata went outside she almost smiled. It was lightly raining, a sign that the heavy rain was soon to start back up. This was perfect. This was hilarious. Like a movie she would even say.

Neji was already outside waiting for Hinata. The weather not seeming to bother him at all. It was Autumn outside now. So the nights were becoming chilly. Hinata did get cold easily, but she was warm now. Her head felt nice and warm and her lips were tingling. "Hinata." She turned to look at her father when she heard him call her name.

Her father didn't look angry at her like the picture Neji had painted. Her father always looked indifferent, but this time she could pick up the concern in his eyes.

Concern? Concern for what?

He was the reason for all of this. He was the reason his own family turned on each other. He was the reason she hated herself. He was the reason every night she escaped into her own world. Why the concern now father? Why care now?

Hinata looked at her father, but even Hiashi could see that there weren't any emotional feelings in his daughter as she looked at him. Hiashi wanted to say something to Hinata. He wanted to just stop all this animosity and just talk to his daughter. Yet he didn't.

Hiashi said nothing to Hinata as he looked away from her and motioned for her to spar with her cousin. Hinata's eyes slowly dragged over to Neji as she walked out to the center of the moist garden. It was wet now. Cold and wet. Yet she didn't feel anything.

"You don't have an athletic bone in your clumsy body. You know that?" Sasuke grunted as he rushed Naruto to climb up the tree near the Hyuga compound. It was worse enough Naruto convinced him to come here. The night before their mission. After the most awkward altercation with one of Hinata's family members. After their sensei told them NOT to follow. Here they were following Kakashi and doing everything they shouldn't be doing.

Sasuke was behind Naruto. So he had the unfortunate luck of seeing Naruto's rear end. Naruto moved so fucking slow man. He ate all that freaking ramen and now he was feeling the effects from it because he could barely climb a tree. Fatigue probably was creeping up on him now that he had a full belly.

"Oh…fuck you…teme." Naruto huffed and puffed as he climbed. In his defense, it was a very tall and large tree. Not his first choice, but it got them the perfect view of the Hyuga compound beyond the front door. They had yet to learn the ability to climb trees so Naruto and Sasuke were using sheer physical strength. So, to put it frankly, this sucked.

When Naruto finally made it to a top branch that was thick enough to support both him and Sasuke and was the perfect view. Naruto let out a heavy sigh of relief. He almost screamed when he was thrown off balance to move over on the branch so Sasuke could finally sit and rest as well. "Teme! Watch it you asshole! I almost fell!"

Sasuke gave Naruto a heated look as he slapped his hand over Naruto's mouth and shushed him. "Shut the hell up dobe. What if one of the Hyuga guards are out patrolling and hear you? It's worse enough I agreed to this dumb idea knowing Hinata's whole clan has eyes that could easily spot us."

Naruto pushed Sasuke's hand away and glared at him. "Would you cut it out already. It's getting old."

Sasuke looked at Naruto like he lost his mind, "What are you talking about? I never know what you and Hinata are talking about. You both babble, it's so annoying. A waste of my time. It's worse enough I have to stand there and make out what Hinata is saying in between her stuttering nonsense."

Sasuke expected Naruto to throw a fit at this. Maybe blow their cover or the two would squabble and hopefully Sasuke could push Naruto down and they would call it a day and go home.

Reason Sasuke wanted that to happen. What could the two of them honestly do to help this Hyuga girl? They knew nothing about her. She was always vague and lied to them. It was taking its toll on Sasuke really, because Sasuke had better things to plan. To train for and to execute.

Naruto just stared at Sasuke. The first month or so while being on a team with Sasuke and Hinata it became a little easier to read the two. To understand the fact that for the first time probably in Sasuke's life he wasn't receiving attention from the opposite gender. Sasuke was never into such a thing. He never cared about a females attention.

However, Naruto saw Sasuke at the ramen restaurant. When Ino came in and latched herself on him and when Sakura was showering Sasuke with praises. It was like…Sasuke missed it.

Being on a team with Hinata and Naruto, Sasuke never was praised. Never checked up on. No one boosted him up. At first Naruto thought that was what Sasuke wanted. To be alone and not bothered.

It's seeming like that isn't the case. Sasuke like any other human in this world wanted validation. Comfort and conversation. All the things Hinata wasn't doing, that girls like Sakura and Ino would gladly do.

Naruto had come to the realization that Sasuke simply was jealous of him. Of the attention Naruto got from Hinata. Their friendship. How Hinata would sometimes defend Naruto from Sasuke in a quick-witted way that only someone from an upscale clan could do.

It pissed Sasuke off. The fact his insults to Hinata didn't bother her angered him even more. The fact he couldn't stay angry or mean to Hinata infuriated Sasuke.

He liked her.

Naruto could see that Sasuke liked Hinata. Back in the restaurant while Ino and Sakura's affection was something that Sasuke missed, the young Uchiha would still periodically look Hinata's way to see if she was looking towards him and Naruto. Like Sasuke wanted to rub in Hinata's face that he didn't need her approval.

Funny, because Naruto thought it was all childish.

What's the problem with Sasuke? Why can't he admit that he likes Hinata and wants to be her friend?

There lies Naruto's problem. He didn't understand this had nothing to do with being comrades or friends.

"What am I talking about? The fact that you pretend that Hinata annoys your very soul. If she annoys you that much then leave. I know I didn't drag you here. You make it seem like I forced you to come. I told you where I was going and if you wanted to come then come. You followed. Hinata's not a bad teammate Sasuke."

Sasuke frowned at him, "I never said she was."

Naruto looked on at the Hyuga compound and tried to ignore the chilly wind and the heavy raindrops that started to come down. "Hinata does nothing bad to you. She completes the missions. She helps and never fails us. She's not a nuisance or snore fest during training. She's very knowledgeable in the history of being a ninja and the traditional ninja techniques. Yet, you still find a way to get angry with her. It's so annoying. You know how her home life is and yet you still rag on her."

Sasuke continued to look at Naruto even though Naruto wasn't looking at him. The empty look in Naruto's eyes were the same look Hinata had. Sometimes it was a look Sasuke was familiar with, because he saw that look when he looked in the mirror. "I'm…trying okay."

Naruto gave a small smile at hearing Sasuke. A smile that fell off his face as soon as it appeared, "Try harder."

Naruto and Sasuke watched as Hinata and Neji appeared in the center of the garden outside. Naruto didn't know what to expect from Hinata if he ever saw her without her jacket. He knew that was her comfort. Hiding in her oversized jacket.

Naruto and Sasuke weren't expecting to see an anorexic body. Hinata was TINY. Very small. Yet she handled her own so well. She was smaller than Ino and Sakura. Way smaller than her cousin.

The image of Hinata having servants cater and feed her went out the window for Sasuke and Naruto. It was clear Hinata didn't eat. The puzzle to Hinata was coming together and the two boys didn't like the image being created.

Naruto looked concerned, "What the hell? Why are they sparring outside in the cold and rain? What if Hinata gets a cold. Our mission is tomorrow." Sasuke said nothing as he looked at Hinata. She seemed a little off, a bit different.

The two watched as the spar began and Hinata's cousin Neji was FAST. He was upon Hinata in a split second as he tripped her on the ground. Hinata immediately got up and for the next series of blows because of her cousin's speed. She was on the defense. It was raining and wet outside so she would slip and slide and just couldn't seem to find her grace.

"She's clumsy, but typically not this clumsy. Somethings wrong with her." Sasuke made this comment as he looked down at Hinata. One thing Sasuke could say about Hinata was that she took pride in her clan techniques. She was almost a perfectionist in making sure her posture in fighting was right and that she moved gracefully.

Naruto nodded his head in agreement. "Could be her emotions are getting the best of her. This is her family. She always gets stressed and upset when the topic of her family comes up." The two fell in silence as they continued to watch Hinata.

After a while of flailing around like a taijutsu beginner, Hinata finally found her poise. Her whole body started to feel warm from the alcohol, and how she once was hesitant, she wasn't anymore. She started to engage more with her older cousin. While most of her hits were batted away she did manage to get a couple in on Neji. The last time they sparred she got no hits on him.

This of course would start to anger her cousin. "It doesn't matter if you've trained with that pathetic team of yours or not. That's not going to stop the fact that you're destined to be a failure. You can't and never will be able to beat me."

Neji came at Hinata faster. His hits becoming more violent and aggressive. So he was holding out this whole time. Hinata frowned at this. Her eyes widened in concentration and her Byakugan was not active. She leaped away for some distance so she could sprint towards Neji with all her might.

Neji looked at her like she was insane. His own Byakugan watching her chakra spike to a high, yet uneven level. Finally it dawned on him. She was intoxicated. That's where all of this courage was coming from. He smirked at Hinata, "A little bit of liquid courage huh." Neji whispered this so only the two of them could hear.

Neji would regret lowering his defenses with Hinata.

Neji grunted when a random headbutt came and hit him right in the nose. This was NOT their family fighting style. Hinata got that from those two orphans. Bottom of the barrel fighting style that she should NEVER practice.

Out of pure rage that usually didn't consume Neji, he punched her. He punched Hinata right in the face and hit her so hard she stumbled to the other side of the garden. She ended up beside her father and her head was down as she took in the hard hit.

Hiashi's eyes lit up at the scene. Everyone watching eyes lit up. Including a certain copy-nin that was watching from the same hiding place as Naruto and Sasuke. The two not even noticing Kakashi was one branch above them.

"Neji!" Hiashi scolded his nephew. The words he wanted to say to Neji never came as Hiashi was silenced by Hinata's laughter. She started to giggle as she was holding her face. Who would have thought she would feel no pain while intoxicated. She just thought it was good for relaxation, but to take the pain away as well.

She felt invincible.

Hinata looked up at Neji. A lump already forming on her small cheek. She felt exhilarated at seeing Neji's face was actually bruised and he was nursing a bloody nose.

Hiashi looked at his daughter and it looked like her cheek bone was broken. "That's enough. This is over." Hinata didn't even look at her father. All she could see was Neji. The two stared down at one another. Never losing eye contact. The veins around Hinata's eyes pulsated as she watched Neji's chakra elevate out of pure rage. She made him like that.

They made each other into monsters. Only they could do this to each other.

"No it's not." Hinata said this with a wide smile on her face. Her right cheek was already starting to turn black and purple. The small cut near her right nostril was leaking out blood like a fountain.

Hinata attempted to sprint towards Neji, who was ready for her attacks. He would show her just how much he's been holding back this whole time.

Ungrateful witch.

Hiashi snatched Hinata back to him. What has gotten into her? She never acted like this before. "STOP IT! You are no match for Neji. Do you wish to die?!" Hinata struggled in her father's hold. She snapped her head towards him and snarled, "I wish I could!"

A loud thunder sound went off. It was so loud Naruto and Sasuke didn't even hear Kakashi jump off the tree branch and land on the ground. The rain was coming down heavier and heavier as Kakashi made his way towards the garden gate of the Hyuga compound.

Hiashi stared at Hinata with concern and shock all over his face. A rare display of emotion. He looked over at Neji just to see the same amount of shock on his face. Neji was shocked, but he immediately masked it with anger. This girl would be the one to quit at living.

Hiashi looked back at Hinata and roughly gripped her by her shoulders so she could look at him. "Don't you say that! Don't you EVER say that! Do you understand!"

Hinata just stared at her father. Her chest was rising and falling vigorously, on the verge of hyperventilating. She said nothing to him. There was nothing to say.

Hiashi almost jumped out his skin when he heard a loud knock on their back gates. He motioned for a servant from inside to come out and take Hinata inside. He saw Hinata resist a little, but once he gave both Hinata and Neji the stare down that only the head of the Hyuga clan could give. Both of them doubled down into submission.

Hiashi watched as Neji and Hinata were escorted inside. He looked at his hands that were just holding his daughter. His daughter. His little Hinata that needed to be sheltered from the world. She just stood there in his arms and said she wished she was dead. What was happening? He just wanted her to grow stronger. To be able to defend herself.

"Lord Hiashi. It is Lady Hinata's sensei at the gates. He is requesting to come in." Hiashi immediately stood up from his position and straightened himself, "No. Tell him-"

Hiashi didn't have a chance to finish his sentence as Kakashi forcefully pushed passed the guard at the gates and gave the guard a look that warned him not to try anything. Kakashi looked back at Hiashi and smiled under his mask. "Good evening Lord Hiashi. Do you have a moment?"

Up above stood a stunned Naruto and Sasuke. Both stuck in their position. Soaked from the rain, but unable to feel anything from the sheer shock of what they saw. The yelling between the family was pretty loud, and Sasuke was very good at reading lips. So was Naruto.

Naruto's cold hands rolled up into fists of anger. "How…I…I don't even understand what the hell is going on right now. What is happening to Hinata? What are they trying to do to her? Break her?! I…never seen her like that. So angry. Hinata has NEVER been like that around us. Why would those people want to bring out that side of her?!"

Sasuke looked at Naruto for a moment before looking back at the Hyuga garden. She just said she wished she was dead. They already succeeded in breaking her. "We have to get out of here. If Hinata's cousin had his Byakugan activated too then that means there is a good chance he got sight of us."

Naruto looked at Sasuke sharply. That street punk persona that Naruto had been working on cleaning up was slowing creeping back to the surface. What they did to Hinata was unforgiveable. "So what? I don't care if that bastard sees me. I'll take him on all by myself."

Sasuke was on his way to climb down the tree. He stopped and glared at Naruto, "This isn't about you! This is about Hinata you moron. Us getting into a fight with that low life cousin of hers will only bring more attention on her. You want that for her? After we just saw how her family is. Use your brain."

Naruto took several deep breaths. Anger still controlling his motor skills, "Naruto…Try harder." Sasuke said this last statement as a reminder to Naruto of what he said earlier to him. This seemed to snap Naruto out of his tantrum as he followed Sasuke down the tree.

Back in the Hyuga garden Kakashi and Hiashi stood under the porch. Hiashi already annoyed that he was not only having family issues at the moment, but now he was soaking wet trying to hold a conversation. "Yes. What is it Hatake." He wasn't really asking Kakashi anything, more so rushing him to get to the point.

Kakashi held out a restaurant bag to Hiashi, "Hinata forgot her leftovers. I was simply bringing it back to her. I then heard the commotion going on." Hiashi looked at the bag in disgust. It was from that ramen stand.

Ramen. One of the unhealthiest food sources you could put in your body. So, this is what Hinata has been putting in her body while he wasn't watching her? Maybe this was the reason for her rebellious attitude lately.

"Hinata won't be needing that. She'll be eating a fresh meal prepared for her here." Kakashi raised a brow at this, "Really? If you ask me, Hinata seems to be losing weight instead of gaining anything."

Hiashi glared at him, "What are you getting at? You watch what you say before you even continue talking. Hatake Kakashi."

The two men eyed one another. Silence consumed them before Kakashi made a ballsy offer, "Let Hinata stay with me."

As Naruto and Sasuke reached the bottom of the tree, the two already knew their fate as they saw Neji down below waiting for them. He waited patiently until they got to the end and on the ground. "What are you two doing here? You can't be this stupid."

"I rather be stupid than whatever you are. You fucking prick." Naruto growled this as he looked at Neji.

The older Hyuga seemed indifferent from the insult. This blonde-haired idiot had some nerve. Considering moments ago he wasn't even interested in Hinata.

"I've heard worse. So words from an insignificant orphan doesn't faze me. Tell me. Why do you care so much about Hinata? Even with her upcoming destiny to be a failure, she is still out of your league Uzumaki. Yours too Uchiha. Don't think because of your family name it amounts to anything. Uchiha's, before their downfall, were still well below a Hyuga."

Forgetting his words to Naruto. Sasuke had Neji up against a tree in less than a second. His eyes filled with fury. Neji just smirked at this. He wanted a reason to break these idiots fingers.

"Sasuke. Our mission tomorrow. Don't do this. Remember what you just told me."

Sasuke couldn't focus at the moment. Naruto's words falling on deaf ears. Who the fuck did this guy think he was? Neji looked down at Sasuke and just continued to egg him on, hoping Sasuke would land the first punch so Neji could have a justified reason for beating him to a pulp.

"What? You don't think Hinata thinks like this? You really fall for that losers 'nice act'. Hinata is a loser. Bottom of the barrel, piece of garbage. Soon she'll be sent off to marry some disgusting rich old man. Forgetting you two exist. That being said, even considering how low on the totem pole Hinata is. She is still way out both of your leagues. So, as a warning. My last warning as well. Stay. Away. From Hinata."

Sensing that Sasuke wasn't going to make the first move, Neji grew tired of the situation and shoved Sasuke roughly away from him. "I'm doing you two a favor anyways. Hinata is dead weight. All she can be is an annoying nuisance."

Neji straightened his training clothes up and turned around to walk back into the Hyuga compound. He stopped walking midway to say one last thing, "She's my nuisance though. She's my family and she's too good for either one of you. So stop trying to get to her."

With that Neji disappeared back into the Hyuga residence. Hinata's hell.

Sasuke watched Neji leave from his sights. His chest filled with pure anger and darkness towards him. "I'm going to kill him."

If looks could kill, Kakashi would be one dead man. Hiashi stared down Kakashi with so much malice in his face. "Who are you talking to? Certainly you know not to say such foolish words to me."

Kakashi held his arms up in attempt to show that he meant no harm. "I heard her Lord Hyuga. I heard her, your nephew heard her and I know you heard what your daughter just said. If this got out to the outside that a ninja, especially a Hyuga wants to commit suicide. You know what that will do to Hinata's career and life."

Kakashi did not back down as Hiashi advanced him. A deadly aura surrounding the leader of the Hyuga clan. Kakashi wasn't dumb, he knew Hiashi was a very strong man. Physically, mentally, politically and financially. Kakashi was walking on eggshells right now, but he knew if Hinata stayed in this environment then she wouldn't make it.

"Are you threatening me? My nephew would never speak ill of our family outside these walls or to strangers. So, that would only leave you. So again. Are you threatening me? I know you're a selfish man that never wanted to have a team, but you'd really do that to MY daughter. Hinata doesn't deserve such treatment from an arrogant man like you. "

Kakashi looked at Hiashi like he was insane. "What? No, that is not what I was getting at, at all. Look…I am not putting the blame on you or your family. This could just be Hinata. Mentally not in a stable mindset right now. We all know she's been through a lot. Honestly I have a whole team right now that is having it rough."

Hiashi voice turned to ice, "Do not categorize my daughter with those two insubordinate thugs you have on your team. Hinata is merely there to advance. It is a requirement for her to be on a genin team. She WILL become a Chunin and advance from there. This team in temporary. Probably the reason she is rebelling like this."

Kakashi almost laughed at Hiashi's assumptions. This team was probably the only thing holding Hinata together. Little things hold people together. "You truly believe she is going to progress to Jonin that fast in this house? You really believe that? You look me in the eye, man to man and tell me that. Lord Hiashi." Before Hiashi could rebuttal Kakashi cut him off. His patience thinning with this conversation.

"You know my life. I am telling you from experience. You know that. From experience, looking at Hinata and hearing what I heard. She needs help. I know for a fact you won't report this and ruin what opportunities she could have ahead, and I would never do that either. So, let her stay with me and let me help her reach the goals you want her to be at."

Hiashi backed down a little. He knew Kakashi's father. Not that well, but he knew him. He knew that he committed suicide and he knew how that basically ruined the man standing before him.

"I mean not to disrespect you Hatake. Not in that manner, so do not think I was taking jabs. Still…hypothetically speaking. If we are being honest. You are just as young, dumb and lost as your team that the Hokage keeps shoving down your throat. I know you never wanted a team. I know you live off failing them. How are you going to take care of a growing teenager when I know you can barely care for yourself."

Kakashi was mute for a moment. He got him there. What would a man in his 20s that was a single bachelor know about helping a 13-year-old girl become a successful ninja? Kakashi was still battling his own demons. Still late to meetings. Still wiggling out of responsibilities. He doesn't even have a primary care doctor or dentist for routine checkups. "She'll become a Jonin in less than 48 months. I can promise you that."

Hiashi looked Kakashi up and down. Studying him. "You're not lying. You really want to do this? Hinata is no easy person to train. She has far too much anxiety and doubt. I merely wanted her to grow stronger to prepare her more for the outside world."

Kakashi shrugged his shoulders, "Its takes a village to raise a successful child right? Allow me to take her in for a while to bring her up to a Jonin standards."

Hiashi was losing this battle. Everything Kakashi was saying was making more and more sense to him. "How are you going to do that when you have that rotten Uchiha and Uzumaki on your team? If given the option Hinata will fade in the back easily. She's much too quiet and timid. I imagine those boys run over her."

Kakashi finally chuckled, "They've been on a team for over six months. Believe it or not, those boys adore her and your daughter holds her own pretty well. She is useful in team seven. She's told me what she really wants to work on and what she feels she is pretty good in already. She makes it clear that she practices clan techniques within her clan…Lord Hiashi she's a good kid that just needs a little help."

Hiashi let out a heavy sigh. Hinata never spoke to him about her goals. What she's passionate about to train in. She doesn't share anything with him. How is it this man and those two knuckleheads know more about his daughter than he does? His wife would be sick right now.

"Fine. She continues her clan training here at home though and you better hope to the higher power that I do NOT see her with one of your filthy books EVER. Or every bone in your body will be broken Hatake. Do you hear me?"

Kakashi held his hands up again in an innocent manner. His eyes closed from embarrassment. "Lord Hiashi please."

So, to let you all know. Hinata doesn't have a clue this conversation has happened between her father and Kakashi. She will not find out for some time due to their upcoming mission.

Neji is of course an ass hole in the beginning, but we all know that Neji actually cares for Hinata. I'm trying to hint it within my story so it doesn't seem like he completely hates her.

This moment right here is probably the nicest Hiashi will be in the story. He is a hard parent. Never able to break out of his old school parenting methods.

We now have daddy Kakashi in the mix. Let's see how he fairs taking care of a teenage girl!

See you Wednesday! Hope you enjoyed the chapter!
