She stood rooted to the spot, staring at him, fear and anger washing over her as he stared back. The glowing molten gold of his eyes were fixed solely on her. Despite her friends surrounding her, the world had narrowed down to just the space between them.
Going into the invasion she knew that she might run into him again, La she even braced herself for the possibility of having to face him in a fight again. After all of the happenings that created so many entanglements between them, she wasn't sure she could face him. But now that he was here, standing before her in their last refuge, she would have no choice.

Four stood before him but all he could see was her and those cerulean eyes that had haunted him for weeks. She stared back at him, but instead of tears, her eyes were cold and angry, like darkest depths of the winter ocean. Just as they had every right to be.
Coming here he knew he knew he would have to face her. He had so much to repair and so much to answer for, especially to her. These strange entanglements they had were, complicated. But now, seeing the fury that emanated from her, he was getting a grasp on exactly how much he had to make up for. He took a deep breath and sighed, this was first step to setting things right.
