Steven was getting ready for bed and soon he got into his nest when he noticed a picture next to his parents nest. Soon he looked at it and soon he saw Jackie coming
Steven: Jackie, is this you and al?
Soon he gave her the picture and she immediately reconnected it
Jackie: oh, it's the picture took on out wedding day
Steven: oh, was that recently or a long time ago?
Jackie: it was taken 3 years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday
Steven: that sounds romantic
Jackie: oh it was, beautiful music, a bouquet of beautiful white roses, a long flowing dress, and a great tango that danced the night away
Steven: (giggles) my dad never talked about him and my ... real mom that much
Soon Jackie saw how saying that made him feel sad again and soon she went to comfort him
Jackie: Steven, I'm sorry about rose, but that's in the past now. Tell ya what, starting tomorrow, you and I are gonna spend the whole day together, mother and son, you and me
Steven: that sounds good
Soon Jackie ticks him in and soon Steven gets to sleep and soon Jackie transformed into her bird form and walked over to her nest where alanzo was fast asleep in and soon takes another look at her adopted son before going to sleep herself.
Soon Steven opened his eyes and found himself in the white void again
Steven: I'm back, then that means
???: it means I'm here as well
Soon Steven turns around and finds old gotama standing in front of him
Steven: how are you here anyway?
Gotama: because the spirits have you a little spell before you passed out on the way to safe haven to be in the void between the mortal realm and the spirit world when you sleep
Steven: so, (gasp) your dead!
Gotama: be that as it may, how is your time here?
Steven: it's okay, I've made new friends, being taken care of by my drama and dance teacher, Jackie seems really nice and alanzo is really funny
Gotama: I see your doing okay
Steven: yeah but why are you here now
Gotama: I've been told to tell you that the spirits are pleased to see that you are doing well, but also to keep an eye on you when you wake and to tell you our history when you sleep
Steven: okay?
Soon he felt everything shake and he realized he was about to wake up, soon he opened his eyes to see a rising sun over his head, soon he noticed Jackie's head behind him and gave him a friendly scare
Jackie: morning cutie pie
Steven: morning Jackie
Jackie: it's morning, and we have a big day for you and I
Steven: I haven't forgotten
Soon Jackie shook off her feathers, even her tail feathers to her human form and picked Steven up and put him on her shoulders for a piggyback ride to start their day.
First Steven got an idea for breakfast, which was a stack of toaster waffles with syrup and whipped cream with a few bits of popcorn and a cherry on top
Jackie was pretty impressed by his creativity and Steven was pretty proud of his creation
Jackie: this is pretty nice work Steven
Steven: made it for the gems once, but when it combined with a cursed poster, it went monster and tried to eat us. It's not exactly healthy but I guess you could say since it's a stack that it's a "balanced breakfast"?
Jackie: (giggling) that's a good one
Steven: I'm full of good jokes
Soon after they decided to have their own little trip to the Dino lands and Steven was really impressed by the variety of dinosaurs
They were having a great time spending it together but some of the dinosaur herds were really curious with the small human on Jackie's back
Soon they made it to a volcano like house and soon Jackie knew who was inside
Soon Jackie walks through the door so Steven could meet the sinclairs
Jackie: guess who's here!
Soon the female dinosaur with the pink crests named Fran looked over to her direction
Fran: oh, Jackie! What a pleasant surprise!
Steven: hi! I'm steven
Soon he looks at the baby chair and sees a cute pink dinosaur
Baby: hi! I'm the baby! Gotta love me!
Steven: aww! Your so cute!
Soon the baby grabs a frying pan and straight up smacks him in the face with it!
Baby: not the mama!
Steven: I didn't expect that, don't do that okay?
Baby: again!
Soon the baby's smacks him with the frying pan again!
Jackie: okay, well just go now, but we'll visit you again tomorrow
Soon he looks over to Steven who was a little dizzy from being his with a pan in the face
Jackie: are you okay sweetie?
Steven: mommy. May I please have some ice cream?
Soon he faints on the floor unconscious and Jackie soon picks him up and walks out the door
Jackie was in bird form sitting on top of a high cliff with Steven on top of her head
Steven: what a day
Jackie: yeah, not what I had in mind, but it was something
Steven: yeah, it was nice
Jackie: really?
Steven: yeah, I never did that before in my life
Jackie: well maybe we can visit your friends at beach city the next weekend
Steven: really?
Jackie: mhm!
Soon Steven hugs her head and kissed the green heart on it
Steven: love you mom
Soon he slides to the back of her neck and uses her crest of feathers as his blanket and went to sleep, but Jackie was heartfelt with that sentence. "I love you mom". Those were the words she hoped she'd hear someday and she finally got her wish
Jackie: I love you too, Steven
Soon the two go fast asleep in that hill with Jackie having a big smile on her face
But little did the two know that below them in the mountain came out a shape that would shock the two of them when they wake up
