Season 3 Episode 11: MOTO PATROL VS THE RUFF RUFF PACK! NEW DUTIES!
May 8th, 2030
"Let's cause some wheel trouble, guys!" A grey French Bulldog sneered as he commandeered the bike of his compatriot Dwayne.
"H-Hubcap, be careful! I don't want to hit anyone!" A Great Dane cowered in fear as he rode in the side car attached to the motorcycle.
"Hubcap, you idiot, why are you driving and not Dwayne!? You're going to seriously injure someone if you aren't careful!" Gasket screamed at the bulldog as she rode her bike after them, worried for their safety.
Hubcap drove directly across the street and through a park, with Dwayne frequently apologizing as they nearly crashed into several passerby people and dogs. "Sorry, sorry, sorry!" Dwayne whimpered as he passed by the people.
One of the people in the park pulled out their phone and called for help.
Ben was up and at them, bringing Ryder some pancakes since the teen had sustained more severe injuries during the elevator collapse. He would be out of the game for a few more days. As Ryder ate his meal, Ben got a call on his pup pad, and was surprised. "Huh, we're getting a call. This is the first one in a couple of days. Wonder what the situation is if they didn't think of calling 911 first." Ben remarked.
Ben and Ryder had publicly announced that their stay wasn't going to last forever, and they should put their faith first and foremost in the police and fire department, only calling Rescue Force Delta for other emergencies that couldn't be solved by them. Answering the call, he saw a worried woman hugging onto a bench with one arm and holding the phone with the other. "Hello, ma'am, you've reached the Rescue Force Delta hotline for Adventure City, what's your emergency?" Ben inquired.
"Three dogs are rampaging through the city park and causing a real ruckus on their bikes! They could crash into someone and kill them, for crying out loud! You need to put a stop to them!" The woman exclaimed.
"Got it! We're on our way!" Ben promised.
Summoning the pups with his pup pad, they got to their dressing rooms, and Ben put on his green vest and helmet before riding out on his motorcycle. All of the pups launched from the Lookout ramp to the city, and they drove to the park where these biker dogs were driving. There were tire tracks all throughout the grass, and the bikers managed to escape as Ben and the other pups used their vehicles and attempted to box them in. Hubcap saw them trying to block off their exits, and rode his motorbike up a playground slide, using it as a ramp to somersault over Marshall's firefighter truck. Gasket gasped as she saw Hubcap do such a reckless move with Dwayne in his sidecar, and she had to squeeze between Chase's police cruiser and Liberty's motorbike to get out of the park. "I'm really sorry about this!" Gasket shouted at Liberty and Chase as she drove between their vehicles.
"Should we go after them!?" Chase asked.
Liberty shook her head. "Most of you pups can't go after them in these big bulky vehicles! Those pups are seriously skilled moped riders. You'll be eating their dust on the streets of Adventure City!" Liberty answered.
"She's right, they can take sidewalks and zoom between cars on those motorcycles of theirs! Only Alex, Tuck, Ella, Liberty, and I have any sort of skill riding motorcycles!" Wild pointed out.
"Motorcycles… that's it! Chase, Skye, Marshall, Rubble, Rocky, Zuma, you all stay behind and try to help clean up this park. Alex, Tuck, Ella, Wild, Liberty, you five come with me back to the Adventure City Lookout. It's time we show those bikers not to mess with Adventure City!" Ben exclaimed.
Driving hurriedly to the Lookout, they entered the garage, where Jack Darby was waiting with five objects covered underneath a massive sheet. Ben nodded to Jack, and the vehicle technician took off the sheet to reveal five motorcycles: one blue, one pink, one red, one yellow, and one green. "Woah!" Alex squealed.
"Totally clawsome!" Wild cheered.
"As Rescue Force Delta operates in Adventure City, we figured that we should have motorcycles on standby in case a rescue requires smaller, more compact rides. We originally planned on giving motorcycle lessons to Skye, Rubble, Rocky, Zuma, and Marshall, but we don't have time for that right now. We need experienced riders to take down that biker gang and stop them from hurting anyone. Liberty, you've been riding your bike for a while, and Wild has been doing stunts for ages. Tuck and Ella, you guys had motorcycles for your vehicles in Adventure Bay. Alex has done some bike riding when he was trying to figure out his specialty for the Paw Patrol." Ben explained.
"But why are they in the colors of the other members and not our own?" Alex mused.
"We didn't have time to create bikes tailored for your specialties. In addition, Ryder and I have discussed leaving behind some members to keep watch and help out in this city. This will be an excellent test run to see if you're the right members to do so. You will be dual classing, not only as your predesignated colors and task assignments, but with the skill sets and designations of the original five pups." Ben replied.
He turned to Liberty and pressed a button on the wall, replacing her peach city tag with Chase's police blue emblem and badge. "Liberty. You have shown great pride in wanting to protect this city. As a native who has lived in Adventure City for her entire life, there is no better pup to lead the Rescue Force Delta subsection of the Paw Patrol than you, which is why you will be the new Police Blue. Your Police Cycle is equipped with a net and winch, as well as a megaphone. You will also have the same pup pack as Chase does." Ben began.
Another button was pressed, and this time, Ella's pup tag changed from her gold medic symbol to the firefighter badge that Marshall wore. "Ella, your compassion and determination reminds me of Marshall. You are cautious, but you are also willing to take risks. That is why I'm naming you Firefighter Red. Your Fire Cycle comes equipped with a ladder and water cannons. You will use the same pup pack as Marshall." Ben continued.
A third button press and Tuck's pup tag morphed into Rocky's recycling crest. "Tuck, your ingenuity and scientific knowledge as well as your creativity makes you perfect to be our mechanic and recycler. That is why you are becoming the new Recycler Green. The Recycle Cycle possesses powerful hydraulic arms, and you will wield Rocky's pup pack." Ben announced.
Facing Wild now, Ben caused the cat's tag to transition from his bronze cheetah themed icon to Skye's propeller icon. "PINK!? Why am I pink!? Can't Liberty or Ella be pink!?" Wild protested.
Ben sighed and glared at his kitten, folding his arms and giving him a glare. "Wild, you're the most experienced biker out of all of us, even more so than I am. You have coined and created several motorcycle tricks and stunts, the most notable of which is the Alley-Loop-Ooop. That makes you the most suitable candidate to take on the role of Pilot Pink and the Pilot Cycle, which can fly." Ben told the feline.
Finally, he addressed Alex. "Alex, you're the pup with the most attention to detail. You've seen Rubble do his job countless times, and you know your way around construction equipment. That's why you're being assigned Construction Yellow. You will pilot the Builder Cycle, which is equipped with shovels, a jackhammer, and other gear." Ben finished.
"Are you sure we're ready for this, Ben?" Tuck wondered.
"Yeah, Dad! This is a lot of responsibility, how do you know that we're prepared to take on these extra roles and duties!" Ella agreed.
"As I said when we first came to Adventure City, we ceased being the Rescue Force, and we have evolved into the Rescue Force Delta in this city. The four of you have grown and matured so much in the months since me and Ryder took you in. You all are indeed prepared for this. We cannot continue to solely operate in one town or city, and that is why you five will be the new Rescue Force Delta!" Ben declared.
They all got on their bikes and rode out. Wild activated the jets on his new motorcycle and took to the air, soaring above the streets and spying the Ruff Ruff pack. "Yarn ball launcher!" Wild shouted, pelting the three rouge canines with yarn balls.
"Hey! Some kitten is trying to spoil our fun!" Hubcap growled as he looked up and saw Wild firing at them from above.
"WATER CANNONS!" Ella exclaimed, and hosed down Gasket with her motorcycle's water blasters.
"YUCK! You soaked me!" Gasket yelled back at Ella.
"You three are under arrest for severe violation of traffic laws and city etiquette!" Liberty howled at them.
"OH YEAH!? AND WHO'S GONNA ARREST US!?" Hubcap snarled back.
"Allow us to introduce ourselves! ONE! Saving one's life means saving the future! RESCUE FORCE DELTA… CRIMSON!" Ben announced as he rode in on a new red bike.
"TWO! The deputized paws that uphold the laws and chase down criminals! RESCUE FORCE DELTA… BLUE!" Liberty howled.
"THREE! The blazing hot racing spirit that extinguishes the greatest of flames! RESCUE FORCE DELTA… RED!" Ella barked out.
"FOUR! The wheels that take to the air and fly to assist others! RESCUE FORCE DELTA… PINK!" Wild exclaimed, pumping his paw into the air.
"FIVE! The technical mind that shifts into top gear! RESCUE FORCE DELTA… GREEN!" Tuck shouted.
"SIX! The unstoppable desire that tears down obstacles to give aid to people! RESCUE RACER… YELLOW!" Alex roared.
"KICKING OUR ENGINES INTO OVERDRIVE! MOTO POWER IS HERE TO SAVE THE DAY! RESCUE FORCE DELTA!" The human, feline, and four canines all exclaimed together in harmony.
"RESCUE FORCE DELTA?! I don't like the sound of that! Gasket, Dwayne, we are OUT OF HERE!" Hubcap shouted, stepping on the gas and hightailing it out of Adventure City.
Ben's group pursued them to the edge of the city, and stopped once they left the city border. "AND STAY OUT! Flea bags!" Liberty yelled at them.
When they got back to the Lookout tower, Ben congratulated each of them. "I knew you all had it in you!" Ben told his pets.
"So did I!" Ryder's voice proudly said. They turned their heads to see Ryder leaning against a wall for support. "When we go back to Adventure Bay, we will need to leave behind several of you to keep a watchful eye and help out with rescues in Adventure City. You five are the perfect ones to handle the city and its challenges." Ryder announced.
Wild felt a little unsure of this. "Ben? Will you come back here and lead our team from time to time?" Wild nervously asked.
Ben smiled as he patted the kitten's head comfortingly. "Sure thing buddy. Promise!" Ben assured Wild.
