Outside the Atlas Ward:
Lucius, the current minister of magic, was currently sitting in a private meeting room within the ministry. Across from him sat Duskmoon, the pack leader of the Duskmoon werewolves and second in command to Fenrir Greyback. "Duskmoon, thank you for meeting me. There are some things I would like to discuss with you. For instance, where is Greyback?" Lucius asked genially.
Duskmoon remained silent. Lucius's smile widened. "Nothing to say?" He made a come-hither motion and a hit-wizard appeared out of thin air with a black briefcase. Opening the case Lucius pulled out a handgun. "This is a nine-millimeter Ruger P90 loaded with silver hollow points." The minister took the safety off and loaded the chamber.
Then Lucius Malfoy shot himself in the head.
Duskmoon stared in shock as the bullet casing hit the floor. Lucius stared back at the werewolf with a smile on his face. "A muggle toy like this isn't capable of harming wizards." Then Lucius suddenly shot Duskmoon, twice in both shoulders. "But for a beast like you, I imagine it's quite effective." He said, in his same silky-smooth voice. Lucius then pulled out his wand and with a wave, cauterized the werewolf's wounds.
"So, here's what's going to happen. You have two weeks to bring me Greyback and every day after those two weeks I'm going to start killing werewolves by the dozens." Lucius stood and made for the door. "Have a good rest of the day, Duskmoon, and for your sake, I really hope we don't have to repeat this conversation." With his parting words said, the minister left.
In the Minister's Office:
"Ah, Amelia, I trust you have an update for me?" Lucius said, after seeing who was in his office. The crimson-haired woman nodded. "Sebastian Delacour has just been named Minister of Magic for France. He and his cabinet understand our way of thinking." Amelia said, seriously. "Well done! With France under our control, we're almost all set to shake up the ICW. Once we deal with the werewolves, why don't you take a vacation." Lucius congratulated.
"I'm taking paid leave." Amelia said. "Don't push it." Lucius countered, before dismissing her, both of them going back to their jobs.
Nighttime, at the perimeter of the Atlas Ward:
A hooded figure slowly stalked towards the wardline. With the number of hit-wizards that guarded this place, stealth was nearly impossible. Nearly. If it hadn't been for the unique cloak they wore, the figure would have never made it this far. It was a memento from a friend long deceased. It was an Invisibility Cloak. The figure shook their head, this was no time to reminisce, there was a job that needed doing. Reaching into their pocket the hooded figure took out a thick nail.
A nail made out of mythril.
The figure slowly inserted the nail into the ward. The nail pierced through the barrier like a hot knife through butter. When it was inserted completely, there were small spider-web-like cracks originating from it. Making their way around the perimeter, the figure embedded six more mythril nails into the ward. Once their job was done, they wandered back into the forest, looking for a spot where the noise of disapparation wouldn't be heard.
Inside the Atlas Ward: A week after Druella arrived
Druella had very quickly established herself as the authority of Black Retreat. It was very simple too. Druella held a meeting with her daughters and told them what was what. She told Narcissa to stop trying to be a thief, told Andromeda to stop being a drama queen, and told Bellatrix to stop being so selfish. It had taken quite a few spankings, and even a duel in Bellatrix's case before Druella got all her daughters on the same page. All four of them had decided to share Hydrus, and take up all the love in his heart, so no woman outside of the family could steal him away.
Due to Druella, Hydrus had warmed up to Narcissa and Andromeda considerably. With Bellatrix mellowing out, Narcissa and Andromeda were allowed to spend time with their nephew outside of intimacy. Andromeda taught Hydrus basic healing charms and tutored him personally in potions. Narcissa had introduced her nephew to basic ancient runes and arithmancy, as well as proper pureblood hobbies such as ballroom dancing, and learning the piano. That wasn't the only change in Hydrus's education. Druella had taken over his general education, continuing with more advanced charms and starting transfiguration, while Bellatrix had finally started teaching Hydrus simple dark magic, as well as occlumency.
Thanks to all the one-on-one private tutoring, as well as his natural talent, and drive to master magic, Hydrus was growing his abilities at a remarkable pace. Hydrus for his part did his best to master everything that his family taught him, even the mundane. In his limited free time, he practiced the songs and dances Narcissa had shown him. He remade the potions and practiced cooking like Andromeda had shown him. Hydrus repeated the mental and physical exercises Bellatrix showed him, and practiced the magic and drawing Druella demonstrated.
Despite all his time being taken up, Hydrus still took up an extracurricular activity. With the newly added spa, some of the Rosier members had taken to volunteering to work there, and Hydrus had all but demanded that they teach him how to properly give a massage. He was eager to use his newly acquired skills on his family to show his appreciation. That had come to a stop however when Narcissa and Andromeda had ascended into Supreme Vampires, courtesy of Druella and Bellatrix.
Hydrus's plan to relax and please his family had backfired. Somehow Bellatrix, Narcissa, and Andromeda had become even more touchy-feely than ever. It had gotten to the point that his education had stalled. Druella could have intervened and told her daughters to keep their hands to themselves but she was under no inclination to do so. She loved watching all of her children share and get along.
Between teaching Hydrus and just hanging out with him, drawing or listening to the wireless, or reading together, Druella had come to deeply love her grandson. As she watched her grandson be serviced and worshipped by her daughters, she couldn't help but smile. Druella walked forward confidently, shedding her robe. Narcissa and Andromeda cleared away instantly while Bellatrix gave Hydrus another deep kiss before she too backed away. Bellatrix without question was Hydrus's favorite person in the world, but Druella was a very close second. As the one unofficial head of the family Druella got to have Hydrus to herself whenever she wanted.
Druella laid on her back and spread herself open. Hydrus was gentle as he entered his grandmother and embraced her. The pair quickly found their rhythm as Hydrus thrust into her, the two of them mating very much like lovers. With their magical compatibility, every touch, every kiss, and every movement sent an addictive pleasurable electricity through the pair.
"Mummy! You feel too good! I can't stop!" Hydrus continued to plow into his grandmother completely unable to control his own body. Something about Druella was absolutely intoxicating.
"Are you close, Hydrus? Cum for me! Cum in mummy!" Druella flexed her kegel muscles and felt her lover flood her depths with hot spunk. Druella let out a moan and the sensation, having a mini orgasm in the process. The duo made out for a bit as Hydrus played with her bountiful chest. "That's a good boy. If you say please, mummy will make you feel even better." One of the very few rules that Druella enforced was that Hydrus had to address her as mummy. It drove Bellatrix crazy, and she took it out on the others in the best way possible.
Hydrus didn't actually get the chance to try and continue with Druella because he was soon pulled away by Bellatrix who started to aggressively ride him. The matriarch let out a sigh at her daughter's possessiveness. Despite Bellatrix learning to open up and share with the rest of her family, she still ultimately viewed Hydrus as hers. As her time with Hydrus came to an end, Narcissa and Andromeda had rejoined Bellatrix, the three of them having a competition to see who could make the poor boy pass out first.
Druella put her robe back on and left her children to enjoy themselves. She made her way to the attic, where a ritual room had been installed. Bellatrix had revealed to Druella and the others that a prophecy may or may not exist and that IDA may or may not know it exists. She couldn't confirm any details, but Druella had taken the fact that Bellatrix had been under a vow of silence as confirmation. She was here in the ritual room to perform a Ritual of Insight.
The Ritual of Insight would help Druella figure out the most important thing she needed to know right now. Using chalk, she drew a heptagram inside a circle, a seven-pointed star that would help boost magical potency. She lit several candles at each of the points and placed a bowl of water in the center. Using an ornamental dagger, Druella pricked her finger and let blood drop into the bowl of water. Ritual magic always required a sacrifice. Thankfully the Ritual of Insight only needed a few drops of blood, unlike Empowerment Rituals.
Channeling her magic throughout the circle the room glowed with an ominous red light. From the bowl of water, a large ripple spread and splashed her. Druella gasped as a wave of insight crashed into her.
Legilimency and Soul Magic.
There was something about those particular branches of magic that Hydrus had to learn. This was problematic. Nobody here was capable of teaching Hydrus such specialized magic. No one except the Dark Lord. Druella scowled heavily. The last thing she wanted was that man around. Who knew what type of influence he might have on Hydrus? Still, it was nice to narrow down how best to tackle her grandson's connection to ambient magic.
Feeling satisfied with what she had learned, Druella cleaned up the ritual room and left. It was probably time to go rescue Hydrus from the clutches of her daughters. As she left the room Druella was filled with a terrible sense of dread that left her frozen mid-step. She stopped herself from cursing out loud. Performing more than one ritual a day wasn't recommended. It could destabilize the magical core, causing permanent damage. Tomorrow she would have Bellatrix perform the ritual to see if she gained any insight into something Druella might have missed.
She shook her head. This was something that could be handled in the morning, right now quality alone time with her grandson would be just the thing she needed to calm down.
Outside the Atlas ward: An undisclosed location
"We're almost all set. I can't believe how easy this is." Came the bored voice of Orchid Parkinson. There was a deep rumbling laughter in response. "Ye of little faith. I told you it'd go off without a hitch. I had my best lieutenant working on it after all. Isn't that right, Lunalight?"
Orchid snarled. "If you call me that again we're going to have a problem."
Fenrir Greyback could only let loose a toothy, predatory grin. "What? My best lieutenant or Lunalight?" He asked mockingly. The apex werewolf weaved to the side as a bolt of hardened moon light zoomed right at him. "Talk about trigger happy huh? Relax Orchid, I'm just joking, everyone knows Whiteheart is my favorite." Fenrir said, making fun of Orchid's attachment to her human name. Orchid could only roll her eyes. "I don't understand what you see in that weakling, other than that fancy cloak and some insider information, he hasn't exactly been helpful towards the cause." She said.
"I have my reasons, don't question them." Fenrir said in his same jovial, joking voice. It didn't fool either of them. "Now if you excuse me, I have to go clean up whatever shit Duskmoon got us into with the wizards. You're in charge, make sure to keep an eye on Whiteheart. Don't want him stealthing about now, would we?" With his orders given Fenrir left Orchid alone.
Once she was sure the Greyback was actually gone Orchid let out a miserable sigh. She didn't agree with all the aspects of her leader's plan. Greyback might know that the Young Master was the Dark Lord's son, but he didn't know that there was a prophecy in play and she didn't plan on telling him either. The Dark Lord had been extremely thorough in regard to containing the exact wording of the prophecy. She didn't know exact words, only things she had picked up from Edmond, but if her interaction with Bellatrix was anything to go by, then the ramifications were huge. Orchid licked her lips; she loved a good game.
All she had to do was play her cards right.
