Inside The Cracked Atlas Ward:

After putting Hydrus down for his nap, Druella and the others reconvened in the kitchen around the dining room table. Shuffling some of her papers around, Andromeda stood, ready to present her findings. "After doing some research I think I figured out this absorption thing. The way Moon Magic works is that every spell that connects drains the target of their internal spirit particles, and temporarily adds that to your own. In other words, it's Soul Magic." She explained.

"What are spirit particles? I'm not familiar with that term." Narcissa asked. The others nodded, wanting an explanation as well.

"It's a bit complicated, but I'll explain the best I can. Spirit particles are in essence, the building blocks of magic, much like atomic particles are the building blocks of everything around us. And just like atomic particles, spirit particles can be neutral, which is the default state, or positively or negatively charged. Internal spirit particles come from the soul, it's the magic that a witch or wizard generates. External spirit particles, magic that's not directly generated from wizards or creatures, is what we call ambient magic." Andromeda clarified.

"Moon Magic is Soul magic because it bypasses physical defenses to attack the soul directly, which is why it's so dangerous. You could be wearing a goblin steel cuirass reinforced with dragonhide, and that still wouldn't be enough to block it. Thankfully Moon Magic lacks the x factor of the killing curse, so it can still be blocked magically, but I wouldn't rely on that either. Blocking with magic just makes the enemy stronger after all." The brunette went on to say.

"It makes sense so far. Can you give us a demonstration?" Bellatrix said. Andromeda nodded. Taking her wand out, Andromeda dragged the tip of it across her forearm, cutting herself deeply. Then she pointed her wand at Bellatrix who nodded.

"Selene Ictus!" She cried out. A white-purplish bolt of light shot out from her wand and slammed into Bellatrix, who let out a grunt of pain. The cut on Andromeda's arm glowed with that same colored light, healing itself perfectly.

"Remarkable. Well done on figuring this out, darling, I knew you could do it." Druella murmured her praise. "Bellatrix, how do you feel?" She asked her oldest daughter. Bellatrix scowled in response.

"Like I got kicked in the shins by a hippogryph wearing heels. But it's already starting to fade, I should be fine in a few minutes." She answered. Narcissa clapped her hands together to gather everyone's attention. "Now that that's figured out, I've prepared a treat for us. I figured we could all use something to take the edge off for a bit." The blonde waved her wand, summoning four bejeweled golden chalices and passed them around. Bellatrix took an experimental sniff and her face lit up.

"This is Hydrus's cum!" She exclaimed happily. With a single big gulp she downed the whole cup. "There's alcohol in this. Rum? I still prefer it from the source but this is good Cissy, thank you." Bellatrix said. Narcissa huffed brattily however. "You couldn't wait for the rest of us could you?" She said. Bellatrix shrugged and held out her cup. "More please."

"Narcissa." A shudder went down the spine of all three Black sisters at their mother's tone. "Yes mummy?" The blonde asked, suddenly feeling nervous. Druella narrowed her eyes as she stared at her youngest girl. "You didn't use my bucket did you? Because I was saving that for later." Druella said, her voice dangerous. Narcissa, knowing she was caught, simply hung her head.

"Come here." Druella said, patting her lap. Narcissa cringed. "Mummy please. I'm sorry, I won't do it again. "Druella glared, and Bellatrix and Andromeda quickly left. "Don't make me repeat myself." Narcissa pursed her lips and made her way over to her mother. Druella bent Narcissa over her knee and delivered hard slaps to her bare bottom.

"Stop! Touching! Things! That! Don't! Belong! To! You!" Druella spanked her daughter with each word, turning her pale ass a cherry red. With her discipline finished, Druella sent a whimpering Narcissa to bed, despite the early hour. Standing with a sigh, Druella made her way to the exercise studio. It was best to start practicing Moon Magic now while they had the down time.

At the Ward Perimeter:

There was a pit of nervousness in Orchid's stomach as she stood at the perimeter of the ward line. She had gotten past the guards with ease with the use of the invisibility cloak, but now the real test would begin. Taking a deep breath, she stepped through the barrier and waited. When she wasn't immediately caught, she let out a sigh of relief. Then, still under the cloak, she stepped back to the other side of the ward, seamlessly. Orchid had to suppress her laughter. The rumors she had heard had been true. The Cloak of Invisibility was capable of bypassing wards. Now that she knew that the next phase of her plan could begin. Before the grand finale she would need to gather information.

Orchid made her way to the shed and hid in some underbush. From her pocket she pulled out a communication mirror the size of an eyeball. In a place like this she wouldn't get a good view but keeping an ear out never hurt. Making her way deeper into the forest, Orchid continued to place her spy-mirrors in strategic places, maximizing her range of sight. Finally, she made her way to the main house.

A frown adorned her face as she stared at it. Orchid had used the imperious curse on Robert Greengrass to gain the blueprints of the house and delay him from making a new ward key. But it seemed her efforts on that front had been in vain; the house had been renovated. That didn't matter though, this plan had been ironed out for weeks. Something as small as renovation wouldn't stop her. Tapping her wand to the wall she muttered a spell.

"Verto Speculum." The transfiguration spell turned the wall into a one-way window where she could safely view the inside. Seeing that the front room was empty, Orchid made her way through the front door, not bothering to undo her transfiguration. She wanted to use as little magic as possible.

Now that she was inside the real part of her plan could begin. Orchid pulled out a small crystal ball and inside it was what looked like a miniature sun. It was a lacrima, a modern piece of magical technology that was capable of storing magic. She had filled a few with Sun Magic as part of her plan. Orchid knew that her target and his family were some sort of strange vampires, creatures of the night just like her. The sun was their natural enemy, so an intense burst of Sun Magic should cripple Bellatrix and the others long enough for her to grab Hydrus.

She placed the lacrima in the drawer of an end table in the front room and kept moving. Making her way to the staircase, she placed another lacrima in the corner of the middle stair and disillusioned it. Orchid continued upstairs and heard strange noises coming from the bedroom on her left. Even separated by a wall Orchid's sensitive nose could smell the sweet sweaty smell of sex. She licked her lips as her loins started to grow hot at the scent. Hydrus was behind that door, and he smelled delicious.

A giddy sort of anxiety filled her being as Orchid got ready to enact the final stage of her plan. If she knew Bellatrix, the other woman was probably thinking that Orchid's attack wouldn't happen until the next full moon, when werewolves were at their strongest. Which meant that everyone would be caught off guard when the attack happened right now.

Pressing a finger to her earring, Orchid sent out a telepathic command. She grinned as she heard the howl of dozens of werewolves in the distance. The bedroom door burst open, and Andromeda of all people rushed out, her face still covered in cum. Orchid slipped past her into the room where she found both Bellatrix and Hydrus rapidly getting dressed. Orchid raised the last of her Sun lacrima and stilled her trigger finger, waiting for the signal.

"Bellatrix! Mum and Andy are heading to the perimeter to deal with the werewolves. As soon as the wards break, she wants us to apparate out." Narcissa said rapidly. Bellatrix nodded, never moving from in front of her son.

"Well, that won't do." Orchid thought. With another tap of her earring, she detonated the first charge she had placed.

BLAM!

An explosion rocked the house as the first lacrima went off. "I'll go check it out! Stay here and be ready!" Narcissa said. She left the room in a hurry. Orchid waited a few moments, then detonated the second charge.

BLAM!

The explosion was much closer this time and the room shook violently.

"Narcissa! Are you alright?! Say something!" Bellatrix called out, a hint of desperation in her voice. Despite that, Bellatrix never wavered from her spot, still guarding Hydrus. Then the signal came. The howling of the werewolves was much closer this time, letting Orchid know that the wards were down at last. Adrenaline pumped through Orchid as her perception sped up.

Before Bellatrix could turn on her heel and disapparate, Orchid threw the last lacrima at the other woman's feet. An explosion of pure sunlight filled the room, the force of which separated Bellatrix and Hydrus. As the mother and son screamed in pain from the explosion and intense sunlight, Orchid made her move.

Using her superior speed, she rushed Hydrus before Bellatrix could recover and disapparated the second she touched him, bringing the boy with her. The hateful scream that Bellatrix gave was like music to her ears.

Somewhere Else with Orchid and Hydrus:

The pair landed on a cold, hard, stone floor, in a heap. Before Orchid could right herself, she was decked in the face by a surprisingly powerful jab. She didn't get a chance to explain herself as her face caught another punch. Orchid found herself laying on her back with Hydrus on top of her, the boy throwing devastating elbows.

Hydrus's assault was relentless as he used full force on the woman's face. He had been in enough muggle fights to know to not stop until the stranger was unconscious. It was also one of wizardkind's biggest weaknesses. They couldn't scrap. Bullets and muggle made knives may not break the skin, but enough blunt force trauma to the head was going to put down anyone. As Hydrus raised his arm to strike his kidnapper again, he was suddenly thrown. He rolled with the momentum of the throw, dodging the quick follow up spell that had been sent. Popping up on his feet, the boy ran as quickly as he could, knowing he couldn't beat an adult in a fair duel just yet.

Danger!

Hydrus threw himself to the side to avoid the volley of spells. He kept running, twisting and turning down the strange stone hallways.

"Wait! I'm not going to hurt you! I just want to talk!" Orchid called out.

"Suck my dick, crazy lady!" Hydrus called back crassly. "I plan on it!" Orchid yelled back before she waved her wand. "Duro!" A wall of stone popped up from the floor right in front of the boy, causing him to run into it face first at full speed.

"Ah fuck!" Hydrus said, holding his bloodied nose, disoriented from running face first into a wall. Before he could recover, he was hit with a spell. "Incarcerous Metallica!" Thick steel chains bound him, causing him to fall to the floor.

"You're a slippery one, I'll tell you what. But it's ok I'm used to playing tag. In all seriousness I meant what I said. I'm not going to hurt you." Orchid said, smiling prettily at the boy. Despite the brutal beating she took; her face had already healed thanks to her being a werewolf.

"Oh, because kidnapping and exploitation is so much better." Hydrus snarled back. Orchid only licked her lips as she looked down at him. "You're the son of the Dark Lord, you should be thankful I'm the one kidnapping you instead of someone who actually means to do you harm. Today's been stressful for the both of us, so we'll continue our talk when you wake up. Stupefy!" Orchid stunned the boy, just as she felt his magic building up.

After vanishing the chains and the boy's clothes, Orchid took his wand and placed two mythril bracelets around his wrists. With Hydrus now being a non-threat, Orchid was free to explore his body. She inhaled deeply through her nose, the scent of his magic sending a light orgasmic shudder coursing through her. She licked his face over and over again, enjoying his sweet succulent flesh. Orchid placed wet, sloppy kisses all over his face as she tried to reign in her beast instincts.

The werewolf part of her brain desperately wanted to submit to the boy, to be his breeding bitch for the rest of her life. Her superior human control won out however as she conjured a loincloth for the boy. With a turn of her heel, Orchid disapparated once more, intent on settling Hydrus into his new home.

Grimmauld Place:

The atmosphere inside Grimmauld Place was severe. After Hydrus had been taken from right out under her, Bellatrix had once again transformed into Nebula. The intelligent werewolves had forced Andromeda and Druella back, cornering them. The monsters were defeated however, thanks to Nebula. Since her last outing, Nebula had grown exponentially and had picked up Moon Magic just from seeing Andromeda use it once. The werewolves that had attacked Black Retreat had been completely obliterated, unable to compete with Nebula's sheer power.

With nothing left to kill, Nebula had turned on her family, fully intending on killing them before going to find Hydrus. Andromeda had been prepared for Nebula's reappearance, however. The brunette had collared her sister with an enchanted necklace that Narcissa and Hydrus had been working on as part of their studies.

It was a simple magic item, only offering limited protection from minor jinxes, but it had enough of Hydrus's magic to suppress Nebula. With Bellatrix back in control, she and Andromeda took their remaining family to Grimmauld.

Druella had been scratched quite a bit by moon-enhanced werewolf claws and Narcissa had been badly hurt in the exploding staircase trap.

Bellatrix may have been back in control, but her mood was understandably atrocious. After arriving the first thing she had done was murder Kreatcher, who had been annoying her with stupid questions. Andromeda, the only certified healer present, went straight to work on treating her family, leaving Bellatrix alone.

Bellatrix paced back and forth in her room like a caged animal as she thought of her next move. She came to a stop as an idea struck her. House Nott and House Bulstrode were the cadet houses of House Parkinson. There was a chance the Dukes might be privy to where Orchid might be. Gathering some of her things she left a note explaining her plan and disapparated.

Somewhere:

Hydrus awoke with a groan. He felt terrible and lethargic. Simply sitting up took almost all of his energy.

"Ah, you're finally awake. Are you hungry?" Orchid offered a large clear flask filled with purple blood. Hydrus looked back stoically, doing his best to not show any weakness. Orchid tilted her head to the side as she looked at him curiously. "The silent treatment huh? That's ok, you'll be calling me mummy soon enough." She said with confidence. Hydrus said nothing.

"Aren't you curious as to why I kidnapped you in the first place? What all this is for?" Orchid prompted.

"I don't negotiate with criminals." Hydrus said blandly. Orchid only smiled, a devious look in her eye.

"Yes, you do. Because if you want your family to stay safe, you'll do what I tell you to." Orchid gained an air of smugness as she watched the boy's eye twitch. "Your mother is extremely predictable. She'll do anything to rescue you, even walk into a trap. If you cooperate, I'll let her live." Orchid said.

"She's strong. She won't be beaten by some simple trap." Hydrus defended, already starting to lose his stoic facade. "Maybe." Orchid conceded. "But what about the rest of your family? I know you heard Narcissa get blown up. Do you think she's ok? What about Andromeda and your grandmother? They had to fight a lot of werewolves after all. You really think they came out of that fight unscathed?" She pressed, preying on Hydrus's worries. Then Orchid leaned in, getting right in Hydrus's face.

"Do you think I don't have the ability to find them?" She asked seriously. Orchid watched Hydrus squirm for a moment. "Of course, you could have faith in them, and hope everything turns out in your favor, but if it doesn't, you'll have to live with the fact that it was your choice that got your family killed."

Her words were the final nail in the coffin as she continued to press Hydrus where it hurt. Right in his feelings. As his eyes started to water, Orchid felt a little bad. She had to remind herself that this was a child, not a trained combatant.

"Work with me here, Hydrus. I don't want to hurt more people than I have to, but that doesn't mean I'm unwilling." Orchid said gently. His shoulders started to shake, tears fell, and for the first time in many years, Hydrus full on cried. He wept and wailed and cursed the unfairness of his situation. Orchid embraced the crying boy, holding him firm as he tried to struggle out of her grasp.

"I hate you! I hate you; I hate you, I hate you, I hate you!" Hydrus cried out pitifully. Orchid just continued to hold him.

"For right now. But you'll love me later. And once that happens, you'll love me forever." Orchid promised.
