Things are getting heavy and even more things are moving around the story, there's a lot going on but were also reaching an important plot point in the story one in which Rean will begin to take a more active role, and it all starts with Zorsal, prince of the Empire, those who watch the Anime and resd the Manga know who this guy is and why he's action might cause Rean to act, but for now enjoy this chapter!.

RogueShadow222: Because without Rean's say so. the Pokémon wouldn't do anything for anyone, the JSDF and Japanese might know about them, but Yao who is from the Special Region doesn't know anything about them, she just sees them as very powerful creatures that might attack her for all she knows, so she's not going to approach them either, its really a smart thing to do actually.
CrimsonSylvan: All I can tell you, that we're reaching a point in the plot of the story that will have a lot of stuff going, stuff that Rean will be personally involving himself with and all because as you said, one person is going to be an arrogant asshole.

Chapter 13.
Even though Yao had whispered what she was thinking about, Tuka was still able to somewhat hear her, so she turned her head towards Yao and looked a bit curious "hm? did you say something?".
Yao stared at at Tuka for a while, but then just repeated herself "Itami... Rean...".
Meanwhile, Itami and I were saying our goodbyes, from the back of one of the carts, to Princess Piña, Itami waved at her and called out to her "okay, Princess! we'll be heading to your mansion later!".
Piña nodded "okay! thanks Itami, Rean!".
I nodded at her with a smile, while Itami just smiled "nah! that wasn't the only reason I came here".
Piña twitched and blushed, while she held her Boy's love book close to her chest "I know that!".
I chuckled "ah, for Japan to corrupt the Princess of another world with it's Boy's love culture, tsk, tsk, tsk!".
Yōji nervously sweated and awkwardly laughed, he really couldn't say anything to defend his Country about this, Piña however, suddenly looked determined "your wish is mine, as well, we have one common goal".
Both Yōji and Piña smiled at each other and then said at the same time "peace between the Empire and Japan!".
It made me smile how much these two have been working towards peace, especially Piña, who has been moving around behind the scenes in the Imperial city to gather allies for the JSDF, she's been working really hard and even I had to admit she's very determined.
We soon left on the carts while Piña stared at us as we left, she smiled and then suddenly said to Hamilton "all right, let's return to the Capital".
Hamilton however, was curious about what Piña had gotten "Princess, why did you come all the way out here?".
Piña proudly raised her Boy's love book and showed it to Hamilton, with a smug smile in her face "for this".
Hamilton just slumped and stared at the book in disbelief "huh?".
Piña jumped and blushed "n-no, I mean in here!".
Piña opened the book and showed a translated newspaper page hidden within the book".
Hamilton gasped in surprise "is this- a record of Itami's deeds!?".
Piña smiled and nodded "yes, of course, it was an afterthought while they translated the art".
Hamilton began to read the report, in surprise "the hero who stopped our Empire's assault and saved the people of Japan? that Itami!?".
Piña once again nodded "yes, he was also with the forces that destroyed our allied nations's armies at Alnus Hill, he was also the one who decided to help Coda Village and fought the Fire Dragon and... he fought our side at Italica.
There's also Rean and Serafall, but no could get any information about them, if there's any, the JSDF isn't talking about it, what we do know though, is that they're also considered heroes in Japan.
That they singlehandedly defeated most of our army and that Rean was the one who killed the Fire Dragon, he cut off its head apparently... just who are those three?".
Piña smiled, then she turned her head and gazed towards where the carts had left.
Meanwhile.
Inside the cart we were riding, Kurata excitedly began to speak "guys! did you hear!? supposedly there are a lot of animal girls and bird girls in the capital!".
Yōji excitedly smiled but then stopped and stared at Kurata with a raised eyebrow "wait... I thought you were only into cat ears".
Kurabashi who was also riding with us, couldn't take any more of the Otaku speak and angrily shouted at both Yōji and Kurata "don't talk about that stupid stuff! no chatting!".
Both Kurata and Yōji gasped in shock, then suddenly yelled at Kuribayashi "it's not stupid!".
Kuribayashi jumped back in shock, while Yōji glared at her "it's very important to us!".
Kurata them yelled "that's right!".
I chuckled at and shook my head "still, try and keep your fetishes in check in public guys, not everyone is an open Otaku here".
Both Kurata and Yōji glared at me in betrayal, but I just a smiled at them "you know the kids we rescued from Coda Village, wanted me to pass on a message to you guys, they all wanted to thank you for saving them, they even said it in Japanese".
Yōji smiled and his eyes soften "they did huh?...".
I nodded "kids learn fast, and they're picking up Japanese rather quickly, especially because Serafall and I teach them once in a while".
Yōji sighed but it was out of contentment and leaned back on his seat, he seemed rather happy right now and I can understand why he felt that way, his hard work was slowly paying off.
Yōji looked up and continued to smile "I hope peace comes soon".
A lot has happened since we all came to the Special Region, I got see how modern warfare would fare against old school warfare and saw the complete devastating it brought.
I witnessed a greedy and arrogant Emperor send his own allies at his enemies, just so they would die and didn't have to worry about them turning on him someday.
I even dealt with other greedy Countries and their politicians as well, this world has been full of interesting and fun things, I'm really enjoying taking it easy in this world and even learn new things about myself as well, plus I even found a new girl to love.
There's still things to come, but I'll see what to do about all of that, whenever it happens, for now, I'll continue to help and grow stronger.
That was my last though as I closed my eyes and smiled, as I decided to take a nap.
Some days later.
We all have gathered in front of pops, who wasted no time to, yell at everyone into formation "attention!".
Everyone that came with us, which was pretty much Recon Three Team and I, suddenly stood up straight and they held their new Assault Rifles to their chest at the ready, pops then saluted and yelled "all present!".
Yōji walked up to the group and I couldn't help but snort, as I stared at what he was wearing, Kurata also snorted, but we really couldn't help it though, the outfit he was wearing was just odd and looked funny on him, even Tomita, who was them most serious of all of us, was trying hard not to laugh.
Yōji just sighed and saluted while looking embarrassed as all hell, he was wearing some kind of white robes with a red sash of sorts, but the most funny thing was the weird hat on his head.
I don't know what it's supposed to look like, but it looked like a misshapen blonde wig or something, Tomita decided to be polite and said "i-it looks... good... in you".
He would have been more believable if he wasn't trying to hard not to laugh, Yōji just deadpanned at him "do you really think so?".
Tomita twitched and tried to recover "i-it looks... about as good as it could?".
I laughed at how hard Tomita was trying to be nice, suddenly a small boy came by running and pointed at Yōji "hey, look at the dork! look at him! it's amazing!".
The boy's mother came running and grabbed her son and began to pull him away "stop it!".
I shook my head, while everyone looked like they were really close to losing their shit, meanwhile Yōji looked like the emotional damage he just got hit him with Critical damage.
A few minutes later Yōji took off his hat and began to explain the situation, after everyone calmed down "listen, this mission today isn't what we usually do, but it's important! so everyone, stay sharp and complete your mission".
Everyone nodded, including me as well, pops suddenly looked at his watch and then said "its almost time!".
Yōji nodded " okay! here they come! get to your positions, everyone!".
The whole squad responded with a big loud "Roger!".
Soon after, everyone got on some carts and we were let in into a mansion, Yōji orders might have given this mission a bit of suspense, but in reality it's not something dangerous or what not.
Today were gathering with the Doves, the Faction of the Imperial Senate that wants peace with Japan, it was sort of a meeting for everyone to get to know each other and foster trust.
After all, they're all working towards peace and coexistence, Piña's efforts had really payed off and the JSDF now has plenty of allies, despite this situation not being as serious as Yōji made seem to be.
It was still a very important meeting between both groups, so they couldn't afford to mess up, soon the guest arrived to this party/meeting and things began to move forward.
As the same time, in the Imperial city, in one of the Emperor's villas, we can find a young man who was physically abusing a woman while pleasuring himself with her body, this man would hit the poor woman without a care in the world.
The only thing the woman could do was scream in pain, while the young man just gleefully told her to scream louder and harder, even when she begged for reprieve, the young man gave her none and just continued to harshly play with her.
This went on for a while, until the door to his room opened and someone stepped inside, the poor woman couldn't take it anymore and dropped in the bed in pain and exhaustion, the young man, who happens to be the first prince of the Empire Zorsal, clicked his tongue in annoyance as he stared at the woman in disappointment
The woman turned out to be a young Warrior Bunny, the actual war chief of the Warrior bunnies, a beautiful white haired Warrior Bunny, but right now she was in no condition to even move as she layed in the bed gasping for air and in pain.
Zorsal just coldly stared at her and said "you'll never be able to satisfy me if you give up that easily...".
He suddenly stood up and stepped on her lower back, the Warrior Bunny recovered a bit of her breath and tried to reason with Zorsal "please stop, your highness!".
Zorsal just frowned as he stared at the Warrior Bunny squirming beneath his foot "your comrades lives depend upon your efforts... did you forget that?".
The Warrior Bunny, who goes by the name of Tyuule sighed and winced in pain "please, show compassion!".
But Zorsal just kicked her out of the bed "enough, begone, I'm getting tired of playing with this toy, too".
Tyuule slowly and painfully stood up, she then quickly left the room while wincing in pain from her injuries, but right now, she didn't care about them, rather she was more concerned about getting out of this room and away from Zorsal.
She quickly passed by the person who just stepped inside the Prince's room, this man was the advisor of the Emperor and he just gazed at Tyuule in disappointment as she left.
He then turned his gaze towards Zorsal "I can't say I approve...".
Zorsal just sat in his bed and grabbed a cup of wine, he quickly took a drink, as the Advisor continued to speak "a member of the royal family shouldn't be using a beast woman as his toy".
Zorsal finished drinking and the grinned in amusement "I'm a very progressive man, I don't discriminate against other races, you should try it, I'll let you borrow her".
The Advisor however, didn't find Zorsaw's words amusing "surely you jest, Highness ".
Zorsal just smiled and laned back on his bed "is that all?".
The Advisor shook his head "I wished to make a report, there has been disturbing activity among some of the Senators".
Zorsal just hmphed in amusement "probably some plot of Diabo's, he's the younger brother, but he still wants to alter the line of succession...".
The Advisor shook his head "no, enemy ambassadors are buying our senators".
Zorsal turned his head towards the old Advisor and stared at him in surprise "what?".
The Advisor stepped closer to Zorsal, as he continued to explain "it seems that some of their families have been taken prisoner beyond the GATE, and the promise of their safe return is being used as a bargaining chip".
Zorsal put down his cup and sighed "so they're using the bonds of family? cowards! that sounds like something those barbarians would do!".
The Prince stood up and walked over to the Advisor, since he was naked it made the Advisor feel awkward so he looked away, though he still continued to speak "head to the Imperial Gardens, a meeting is being held...".
While the Advisor spoke, Zorsal walked up to him and stopped right in front of him, but the Advisor continued to explain "... at this very moment".
Zorsal suddenly grabbed the face of the Advisor "I see, but why tell me something so important first? and not say, my father?".
The Advisor panicked and looked a bit afraid, but he still tried to explain himself "if I told your father, he could take a hard line on them.
That would hurt relations between the Royal Family and Senate, which would very disadvantageous to you, the next line to the throne".
Zorsal patted the Advisor face with his hands "oh, I see, very well! I'll go give those senators and the enemy ambassadors a piece of my mind!".
Some time later, Zorsal left his home along a small unit of soldiers and headed towards the meting between the Senators and the JSDF on horse.
Meanwhile, in modern Japan
A meeting was taking place between the new Minister and his advisors, he wanted to ask a few questions about, how things have been doing in the Special Region "how are things in the Special Region?".
One of his advisors, immediately began to explain "the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is, presently looking for a path to peace with the Empire.
Our forces in the Special Region have secured a base in the Imperial territory as well"
The new minister nodded "so, is there anything we can announce publicly?".
One of the Advisor shook his head "Prime Minister, we've just begun negotiations with their senate!".
The Prime Minister nodded "I know, I know! but we've been getting requests from other Countries and the media for information, I would like to have something to tell them".
The Prime Minister then sighed "I know, of course, I'll be careful to release any classified information... I'm just glad the world seems far more interesting and concerned about the Pokémon.
Hayashi-san really helped us here with everything he did during the Diet Meeting, but we must also continue to work hard, we can't always rely on him all the time".
Everyone nodded, the Japanese Government knows, that they own a lot to Rean, its because of his actions that they were perfectly fine financially and now had good and trusty allies in the government of other countries.
But they're also aware, that they also have too work hard, Rean won't always be around after all.
Back in the Special Region.
The party was now at full swing, it certainly was an interesting event with how this was supposed to be a high class event, everyone present was dressed very elegantly though, really beautiful dressed and robes were being worned by the people who had come to the party.
It made me wonder if the girls would like to have dresses like these? I for one think they would look beautiful in them, so perhaps I should make them a few based on these styles, it shouldn't be too hard to make them now that I've seen them.
Though I was suddenly brought out of my plans, when Piña began to speak "it was very generous of you to invite their families as well, Suwara-dono".
Kouji Suwagara, a representative and Embassador of the Japanese Government, he is the one who organize this party and had made sure to invite all of Japan's current allies of the Senate, the Doves.
But right now, all he did was smile and shook his head "no, it's nothing and the chief maid from Italica is here too, which is a big help".
I chuckled as I look at the side, a far distance away I could see the Elderly maid issuing orders to the maids, she looked like General right now, though I suppose that this is her battlefield of sorts.
Piña nodded and the said "Countess Formar's family has offered to cooperaten as well, they understand that Italica's prosperity is due to its trade relations with Alnus"
It was true, Italica has been of great help in setting up Alnus town as a commerce powerhouse, given the fact that it was the only one who can buy, things from Modern Japan, made it into a very profitable partnership.
Italica, by now has recovered from the Bandits's attack, and has been able to thrive with the help of the JSDF, which in turn helped them as well, it was certainly something interesting to see.
Both Italica an Alnus just grew and became far much more stable financially, thanks to the fact that they helped each other, thats actually the main reason that Myui, the young girl in charge of Italica, lets us borrow her maids and they have been an enormous help to the JSDF.
Kouji smiled "but I didn't expect that family to send nothing but human maids".
Piña nodded "this is the Capital, you see".
Kouji looked confused for a bit, but then seemed to understand what Piña was implying "I see, all the nobles I met in the Capital were humans, too...".
I sighed "discrimination huh? it seems that some people can't help but be complete fools at times".
Piña winced at my words, I knew she didn't discriminate, but it seems people like her was a minority, it was disappointing to see this sort of thing here, but I knew that someday things would change.
Whether by conflict or understanding, but eventually people will rise against discrimination and change will be brought, it something that is unavoidable.
Suddenly I heard someone run towards, I turned my head towards a young girl running towards us, she then called out a name "Suwagara-sama!".
Both Piña and Kouji turned their heads towards the young girl and stared at her in confusion, the young girls stopped nearby and began to catch her breath "hm? she must have come running without stopping".
Kouji nodded, but then jumped a bit in surprise when he realized the young girl had called out to him "me?".
Th young girl, caught her breath and then approached Kouji, she almost shoved Piña to the side, which force the princess to take a step back and almost fall, but I just pushed her back on her feet, with my hand in her upper back.
Piña smiled at me in thanks and I nodded, meanwhile the young girl began to speak "my cousin has been showing off her pearl necklace to me.
So I can't enjoy the party at all!" she looked down and then shook her head, she quickly looked up at Kouji and hit him with a pouty frown "I'm feeling very frustrated, Suwagara-sama! is there anything you can do?".
The young girl then hugged Kouji's arm, which the poor man jumped at the situation he found himself in, I on the other hand, couldn't help but chuckled "wow, what a way to ask that she want pearls too".
Piña nodded and laughed a bit, even if she thought that the young girl was being pretty bold, Kouji took a few moments to recover, but did so and nervously smiled "I don't know what I could do-".
However the young girl was suddenly pulled away from Kouji by a woman "stop that!" the woman then apologetically looked at Kouji "Suwagara-sama, please forgive her rudeness".
The mom then turned to face her daughter "Sherry, don't cause trouble!".
Piña walked up to Kouji and whispered in his ear "they're with the Tyuli family, they're also related to Marquis casel".
Kouji looked down "the important senator?".
Piña immediately answered Kouji's question "yes".
The father came too and together began to pull Sherry away and head back to the party, however Kouji being the politician he is, saw this as a way to gain more allies, so he walked towards the Tyuli family "please wait a moment".
The Tyuli family stopped walking and turned around to look at him, Kouji smiled and began to speak "please don't scold you daughter".
Sherry seemed embarrassed, so she she turned her head away from Kouji, he just smiled and walked up to her, he then place a hand on her shoulder to bring her attention to him.
Sherry turned around and looked up at Kouji, he then smiled and began to speak "Sherry-sama, you mustn't cause trouble for your parents.
If your a good girl, I'm sure you'll receive a good present, without a doubt" Sherry gasped and blushed, it didn't take a genius to know, that Kouji was promising to get her a present.
Which came as a surprise to her, but she turned around and then courtied at Kouji and then took off running in embarrassment, which surprised everyone quite a bit.
Both of her parents nodded at Kouji with a smile on their faces and then, followed their daughter back to the party.
Piña took a sip of wine and then smiled "your quite the seducer".
Piña and I walked towards Kouji, while she continued to speak "she'll soon get a Japanese pearl necklace that'll make her cousin jealous, correct?".
I grinned at Kouji "she's going to be the envy of all the young noble girls".
Kouji sighed "I'd love to have connection with Marquis Casel".
Piña just smiled in amusement "did you see the look on her face, she fell in love with you".
Kouiji just raised an eyebrow at that "you jest".
Piña softly laughed, while I just sent a small prayer to this man, since his life is about to get very complicated soon.
We soon began to walk around the party, something about showing the people present how comfortable we are, it's all about showing our willingness to approach them and spend time with them, though Piña stopped right in front of the cooks who were grilling some food.
She then, out curiosity asked about the cook who seems to be teaching the others "who's that chef?".
Kouiji smiled and answered the question "one of Itami's men, his name is Furuta, supposedly, before he enlisted he was a chef at a top restaurant".
Piña then lifted her plate she was eating from and stared at the food in surprise "is that why it tastes so good? by the way, where's Itami-dono?".
I smiled and answered Piña's question "he giving a demonstration to the Noblemen, if you want I can take you to him".
Piña nodded, and I soon teleported Koiji and her to the area, where Yōji was showing off, some of what the JSDF can do.
As soon as we arrived, Piña had to cover her ears, the area was filled of the sounds of gunshots and it was a bit too much for her, but even though she covered her ears, she still took a look of what was going on.
That's when she saw some of the soldiers shooting their Assult Rifles at far off targets, targets that were in fact, Imperial armors and shields set up a long distance from them.
They soon stopped shooting and the group of noblemen could only gape, at the power and speed in which the shields and armors were destroyed from a long distance away.
Yōji smiled and then turned his head towards the Noblemen, he hasn't noticed us, but since we didn't want to interrupt we decided to just watch, Yōji then said "what do you think? this is the power of the Type 64 Rifle-".
Marquis Cosel suddenly grabbed hold of Yōji's shoulders, which startled Yōji a bit, the Marquis then yelled at him "sell it to us! no, how do we make these?".
Well, that would be a bad thing reveal, the Special Region isn't ready for these kinds of weapons, not with their current mentality, plus, it would be stupid to give away your advantage to someone else.
So Yōji did the smart thing, he began to refuse "I can't tell you that-".
Though that didn't stop them from asking more questions "how many of these 'Rifles' do you have?".
Yōji looked mighty nervous but still answered the question "I-I can't tell you the details, but you can assume that every soldier carries one".
This simple fact shocked the noblemen, I'm not surprised though, they just found out that each member of the JSDF have access to this kind of firepower after all, must be both a shocking and scary thing for them to think about.
Yōji however, wasn't done yet, he still wanted to show off more of what the JSDF can do, so he turned his head towards pops to issue new orders "next, I'll show you the Mortars".
The 81mm mortar, weapons that can fire high impact explosive towards enemy line at lower heights, the soldiers immediately prepared them and loaded them "half load!".
Another soldier then yelled back "half load, ready!".
Then pops yell "fire!".
As the Mortar fired with a loud and powerful boom, the explosive flew through the air in an Arc for a few seconds until crashed on the ground and exploded on impact.
The sound was thunderous and the explosion and its vibrations were felt by everyone, especially the noblemen who stared at the explosion in complete amazement, one of them couldn't avoid commenting "what range...".
More loads were prepared and fired simultaneously, while Marquis Cosel stared at the series of explosions that rocked the area, Piña noticed the expression on the Marquis's face turned from amazement to realization.
One she had come to see as well, that realization was what push her to advocate towards peace, so Piña began to walk towards Marquis Cosel while he watched the explosions go off.
I knew exactly what he was seeing in his mind, all those explosion would be directed to the Capital and its people, if peace didn't come between the Empire and the JSDF.
That realization seems to have shocked the Marquis and as soon as he snapped out of it, he turned to stare at Piña with a hint of fear in his face, Piña however stared at him in understanding.
Marquis Cosel sweated and then called out to his fellow Marquis "Marquis Dussie...".
Marquis Dussie sighed and nodded "yes, any more battles with Japan and we're doomed...".
Marquis Dussie turned around to face Piña, Kouji and I, Kouji of course just smiled at the Marquis "oh, Marquis Dussie, I haven't seen you since the Banquet at your house".
The Marquis Dussie walked up towards Kouji, while the rest of the Noblemen watched him do so, the Marquis then spoke as soon as he was in front of Kouji "Let's skip the formalities, Sugawara-dono, tell me what Japan wants in exchange for peace".
Kouji continued to smile but answered the question right away "understood".
I smiled and nodded, now the Empire knows that conflict is a loosing battle and that if they continue with hostilities, they would lose and horribly.
Suddenly, Yoji received a radio communication "Avenger, this is Archer, come in".
Yōji immediately answered the communication "this is Avenger, what's up?".
Arched explained the situation right away "a group of five cavalrymen has crossed the warning line, they weren't invited, but they certainly don't look like bandits... shall we deal with them?".
Yōji closed his eyes for a few seconds and pondered about what to do, he then opened his eyes and gave out orders "Archer, maintain surveillance".
Anger responded right away "Roger".
Yoji then walked up to us and began to explain the situation "a handful of cavalrymen are heading this way, I'll get the VIP out of here".
I smiled and then spoke up "leave it to me".
I then pulled out two Ultraballs from my pocket and throw them into the air, both pop open and a bright flash of white light came out of the balls, both Mew and Mewtwo appeared within the light.
I smiled at both of them "guys, teleport the VIPs out of this place, just like we talked about, okay?".
Both Mew and Mewtwo nodded and began to teleport the Noblemen and the JSDF soldiers, though the Noblemen seemed confused and frightened by the Pokémon, but we had no time to waste and they were teleported away.
Yōji nodded to me and gave me a grin "we'll continue the banquet, keep an eye on their families Rean, we still can't afford to le it be known that our nation is making contact with the Senators".
I nodded "sure leave it to me, both Mew and Mewtwo will be teleporting everyone back to the Capital so don't worry about them, I'll keep an eye on their families".
Yōji smiled "thanks man".
I just nodded to him "nah, it's what I came to this party for, now go and make sure your allies get home safely, I'll see you soon".
Yōji gave me a thumps up, while Mew teleported him away, I then quickly began to put all the equipment the JSDF brought into my inventory, Piña waited for me and as soon as I was done, I also teleported her back to the party.
Once back in the party I turned myself invisible and waited, while Shadowing Piña, soon enough though, Zorsal arrived and I can honestly say that I'm not too happy to see this asshole, especially with his dumb looking face.
But for now, I just watched and followed Piña who walked over to her brother, some of the noblewomen were happily waving at him which seemed to confused the prince as he looked around.
The headmaid approach the prince, who turned his had towards her and asked "what are you doing here?".
The headmaid smiled and began to explain right away "Princess Piña and Sir Sugawara are having a garden party, as you can see, there are several families here, weren't you invited as well?".
Zorsal was however, confused about something the maid had mentioned "Piña?".
Piña arrived to Zorsal and called out to him "brother! what brings you here today?".
Zorsal stared at Piña for a second and then said "what? you sound like you don't want me here".
Piña shook her head "no... but you didn't seem interested in these sorts of things".
The prince closed his eyes and quietly huffed "I suppose so..." he then opened his eyes and stared at Piña "where are the Senators and enemy ambassadors?".
Piña acted surprised "at this party?".
Zorsal just sighed and walked past Piña "of course there aren't any".
Piña frowned, it seems she was worried about the fact that her brother knew, of what was going on here, but she quickly smiled and turned around "brother, since you're here, why not eat something?".
I nice distraction for sure, one that piqued Zorsal's curiosity since he walked to a table and grabbed some of the food on it, meanwhile Piña explained a bit about the food "I recommend the Ma Nuga meat with what's called a mustard sauce".
Zorsal stared at the meat and even glared at it "its yellow, it doesn't look very good" I really don't like this guy and the way he acts, never did, but at least he still tried the food.
He immediately took a liking to it and soon had the servant fill baskets with food to take with him, it seems that he didn't want to waste his time at the party, but the was was more than happy to grab food and leave.
Piña sighed and I made myself visible, she then turned towards me "it was probably count Marx who sent my brother".
I looked up and frowned "so he sent him, so he would cause a scene, good thing you distracted him with food so he would leave".
Piña nodded "yes, but this was a warning from the Count, he used my brother to let us know, that he's aware of what were doing".
I nodded, it certainly made sense, looks like the plan was to scare us, but he didn't account the fact that we could get the Senators away from here so fast "well, its a good thing we had plans for these sort of situations".
Piña sighed and slumped, though she smiled in amusement "it would have been a big deal if tge found everyone here".
I crossed my arms and closed my eyes "we're going to have to advance the peace talks, we have to act before they make their next move".
Piña nodded, we both then decided to go eat something and relax, but I was going to have to report this later to Kouji when i bring him back to the party, we can't take any risks now that things were moving in our favor.

Wow, things are moving faster and Jaoan is quickly gaining allies in the Empire, especially with the little sow of power Yōji gave to the Noblemen aka the Senate, now they now that Japan is not a Country they should mess with.
But just as there's headway, so are people working against them, Count Norx who is advisor to the Emperor knows what going which means that so does the Emperor.
To cause a bit of drama and fear, he sent Zorsal, this guy is well know by those who have watched the anime and read the Manga, but those that haven't, I'll tell you thing, he's an asshole if the biggest order and someone who will what coming to him soon.
