Chapter 24.
I smiled as I stared at Sona, as her and her entire Peerage become nervous, it seems that it finally hit them, that I'm not normal to any standards, that my power is beyond any of them, that unlike my the girlfriends and my daughters.
They don't have access to Astraea's system, which means, that at some point they will hit a plateau, but there are ways for them to get stronger, as Devils, their highest rank should be Super Devil.
As an outlier rank, when they hit Super Devil, they might become as strong or even stronger than a God, but it all depends on their potential and how much effort they put into their training "alright, before we begin, I have to warn you guys.
This training is going to be hard, very hard, in fact, many of you will cry, beg me to stop and might just get severely injured, but make no mistake, after training with me, you guys will be on a whole different level.
Unlike most of this generation of Supernatural beings, you guys will be forced to adapt and grow, this generation has become lazy, arrogant and most of all unmotivated.
Peace has that affect on people, but Supernatural beings cannot afford to be weak, Sona, as the Sitri Heir, you have both the reputation of your family and your safety as all time priority to you, nothing else matter right now.
You have to become strong because of those two main things, you have to survive, because no matter how much Serafall loves you, how much your parents love you, they can't always protect you.
Leave your pride behind and get ready to get stronger at any cost, for yourself, for you Peerage and for your place in the underworld".
Sona looked down and then tighten her fist, she stayed like that for a few seconds, but then looked up and gave me the most determined looks I've seen her have.
A look so different from when she's doing Student Council work, from when she studying, heck, it's a look that had her entire Peerage staring at her in awe.
Sona suddenly grinned and nodded to me "I'm ready for anything".
For a second there, I saw Serafall's face in Sona's, those same Violet purple eyes that I've seen on Serafall, were now shining bright in Sona and I couldn't help but feel excited.
So I nodded to Sona and then turned my head towards her Peerage "you guys have far more issues to deal with than Sona, issues that will push you down and tear your heart apart.
As Reincarnated Devil, you guys don't matter to Devil Society, most will look down on you, sneer, spit and even try to kill you, because you used to be human.
Cruel and completely unnecessary, but Devils, as I'm sure you guys have seen and experienced, are by nature dark and prone for evil, that's the life all of you chose when you became Devils and there's not going back.
This is your reality and you have to accept it, no matter how the Sitri and the Gremory treat their Peerage... most of the underworld will be against you.
But thats not all, almost every Supernatural Faction will look down on you and try to kill you, Devils are hated and you guys being weak and Reincarnated Devils makes you easy targets".
Sona's Peerage looked down with frowns on their faces, more than likely, they never considered the consequences of choosing to become Devil, or they might have tried to deny it or even ignored it, but that's not the way to go about it.
No, turning away from your situation won't make things better nor will change them "but don't let that fact get you down, use it.
Use it, to motivate yourselves, to push you every time you feel like giving up, to stand up and keep going, forget about Sona for now, as you are now, you can't protect her, let alone yourselves.
No, right now focus on yourselves, grow, adapt and become the best you can be, it's not going to be easy, but every monster out there in the Supernatural started from zero.
Sirzechs and Ajuka weren't born Super Devils, they become the monsters they are, because they fought in a war, they sought power, to survive, to protect their families and to bring change to the Underworld.
Their conviction and potential helped them reached their level of power, I started as a human, in fact I almost died getting hit by a car, but I crawled, ran and screamed my way to where I am.
You can do the same, in fact you guys have something no other Supernatural being don't".
Each and every member of Sona's Peerage stared at me and gave me their full attention, I could feel them get fired up with what I was saying, there was all kinds of emotions going through them.
Sadness, hopefulness, anger and shame, but underneath all of that, all of them had determination and a fire that was ignited, so with that in mind and smiled and then continued on "you have a human heart, those emotions you're feeling right now? use them!.
Use them, when you feel you can't keep up, that you cant keep going, scream if you need to, but keep walking forward and grow strong, strong enough to protect yourselves, strong enough to show everyone else you deserve to be here.
Be powerful enough to protect everyone and everything you care about, let the entire world, who looks down on you, know that you won't be pushed down, rise and show them all that you can do!".
Sona's Peerage members screamed and roared, it surprised Sona and left her quite shaken, she had no idea just how much her Peerage, were keeping their emotions in check for her sake.
Just how many times did the keep themselves awake in worry? how many doubts did they have? regrets? just how many tears had fallen from their eyes?.
She had so many questions right now, but at this very moment, none of them mattered, not when her Peerage, was at this moment venting, letting go and screaming at the top of their lungs to be heard.
That's when she noticed Rean's soft and kind eyes, and the proud smile on his face, that expression took her by surprise, in her mind she kept thinking that Rean was cold, uncaring and aloof.
But that smile, that smile show a side of him she never noticed, one she wouldn't have believed existed, if it wasn't because she was seeing it right now and then it hit her "ah... I get it... I now know why my sister loves Rean so much...".
I smiled at Sona's Peerage and gave them a nod "great! get fired up, because right now, I want all you to show me what you can do, show me where you are in power level and your determination, show me just how much you want to grow strong!.
One by one, I want you to face me! show me what you got and come at me with the will kill! come on!".
Ruruko was the first one to come at me, she did so with a violent look on her face and a grin, she ran as fast as she could towards me, to a normal human, she might be a little hard to be seen, but to me?.
It was like she was moving in slow motion, but that didn't matter, what I wanted to do, was see how she fought, how strong she is, right now and she didn't disappoint, as soon as she was close, she jumped forward and went for a knee to my face.
I easily stopped it with the palm of my hand, only for her to grab that same hand and then use it as leverage to drop kick me in the face, I just tilted my head to side and then slammed the palm of my other hand into her lower back.
She gasped and then cried in pain, she didn't fly to long in the air, thanks to the fact that I was holding back a lot, which gave her a chance to recover quickly
She hit the floor, rolled on the ground a few times and them flipped her self up with her hands and used the left over momentum, she landed on her feet and immediately took off running towards me.
I smiled and then saw her suddenly dropped and slide between my legs, she quickly stopped herself with her hand and did a handstand, she grunted as she used her hand to pivot her body and tried to kick me on the ribs with her foot.
I quickly lifted my knee and blocked her attack, she clicked her tongue and pushed herself away from me with her hand, she flipped on the ground three times before stopping.
On her third flip she landed in her feet and then immediately launched herself towards me, I didn't let her get close, instead I closed the distance myself, it caught her by surprise and she couldn't react when I caught her ankle and then the back of her knee with my other hand.
I quickly threw her away from me and watched her slam against a tree with a grunt of pain, the tree behind her cracked and pieces of wood flew everywhere.
She fell to the ground soon after and glared at me, she quickly got to her knees and tried to get up while gritting her teeth, I quickly gather energy into my fist and then swung it towards her "Demon Fist!".
A shockwave of energy traveled on the ground all the way to Ruruko, she could only widen her eyes in shock, before the Demon Fist crashed against her and exploded.
Ruruko was then sent flying out of the explosion unconscious, she quickly lost momentum and then crashed against the ground, she bounced once, kept going backwards and them crashed one more time on the ground completely out of the fight.
I didn't have time to say or do anything, Genshirou immediately attacked as soon as Ruruko was down, a pretty smart thing to do, but he's not fast nor sneaky enough to pull off a sneak attack against me.
So, I caught the line that he shot at me with his Sacred Gear and pulled it toward me, he was sent flying towards me, but he just gritted his teeth and covered his body with his arms, good choice, because I received him with a spin kick.
My kick broke through his defense and smashed against his chest, he gagged and threw up some blood from his mouth, but he then grinned as he was sent flying back.
That when I noticed he had stuck one of his line into my ankle, he quickly pulled on his line and tried to pull me off balance, but I stomped on the line causing his line to pull him back towards me.
Genshirou reacted right away and cut off the line, he spinned in midair using the momentum he was pulled with and tried to Axe kick me, but I caught his kick with my hand and then smashed him into my knee back first.
Just like when I used this same move with Sirzechs, there was a crack and a pop, Genshirou of course screamed in pain, but I ignored it and threw him away to the side.
Genshirou crashed into the ground a fair distance away and unable to move any further, he just gritted his teeth and groaned in pain.
But once again, I was unable to pay attention to his condition because Tomoe appeared in front of me in blur of speed, she tried to slash at my stomach with her Katana.
I quickly transformed Excalibur from her Bracelet form inside of Avalon in her Tachi Form, Tomoe's Katana slammed against my sheathed blade and bounced back, she slid back on her feet a fair distance away, but then stopped herself by stabbing her Katana into the ground.
She looked up toward me and grinned "I've wanted to fight you with a real sword ever since I saw you fight Kiba, Rean! show me that amazing Sword Style of yours!".
I smiled and then got into my Eight Leaves, Once Blade stance, and held Excalibur by her hilt "then don't blink Tomoe! or you'll miss it!".
Tomoe just grinned and took off running towards me at full speed, she blurred from everyone else's sight and appeared in front of me with a overhead slash, I didn't move, instead I quickly drew Excalibur and slashed faster than anyone could see "Eight Leaves, One Blade... Fourth Form! Autumn Leaf Cutter!".
In less than a blink of an eye, I disappeared and reappeared behind Tomoe, while she froze mid swing, I stood up straight and twirled Excalibur twice before sheathing her back into Avalon.
The click of her being completely inside her sheath echoed through the area, Tomoe suddenly screamed as cuts appeared all over her body and her Katana shattered into pieces.
But despite the pain and the fact she lost, she still smiled "what a beautiful techniq--" Tomoe couldn't finish her sentence and dropped face first on to the ground unconscious.
She has definitely improved, she got faster and her technique was smoother, but I had already reached a very high level of mastery with both Excalibur and the Eight Leaves, One Blade style.
That she didn't even perceived me move was a big sign that she still wasn't fast enough to use her sword style to its full potential, her body didn't catch up to my attack until way later too and all the damage that hit her at the same time in a second brought her to her knees with one single attack, of course I held back and avoided her vitals, but I bet she felt that attack.
Suddenly, I tilted my head to the side and dodged a punch to the back of my head, I quickly lashed out with an elbow behind me, hitting the one who just tried to sneak attack me, I was rewarded with a grunt of pain coming from behind me.
Tsubasa Yura immediately jumped back and tried to spin kick me to the side on the head, but I blocked the kick with my forearm and quickly jabbed Avalon's tip onto her stomach.
She gasped and gagged, as she was sent rolling through the ground backwards, Tsubasa is a great fighter and she seems to have a natural talent for it, but like with Koneko, she's slow.
Like any Rook, she has the issue of being too slow to really put her Martial Arts to good use, so she relies on heavy and strong strikes, however unlike Koneko she doesn't have Senjutsu to support nor does she have the advantage of being small and hard to hit.
Tsubasa is a big and a slow target and that makes her more prone to getting hit, no much of a problem because she's a Rook, but against someone like me, someone that can ignore defenses and resistances?.
Well, it was not a good idea to try and tank my attacks, something she just learned the hard way, still, she looked at me and smiled "I have always wanted to fight you Rean, you just had this air of power and confidence that makes me want to try my luck against you".
I smiled "oh? how do I hold up to your expectations?".
Tsubasa lightly laugh as she got into her fight style and got ready to once again fo on the offense "your scary powerful Rean, you certainly don't disappoint, that's for sure, I'm afraid, every instinct I have is screaming at me to run away.
That no matter what I do, I will lose... I know I'm nowhere close to your level of power, but, despite that I still want to fight you!".
After saying her piece, Tsubasa launched herself towards me, she tried to punch me multiple times, but I could easily see her attacks coming, so I easily dodge them all by just shifting my head and body away from her attacks, she gruntedin annoyance as her fist seem to miss by an inch.
But, even then Tsubasa didn't give up, even when she was sweating and short of breath she kept trying to land a hit, she was tenacious if nothing else and it showed with how hard she ket trying to land a hit.
But eventually, she finally ran out of steam and slowed down even more, I took advantage of her downed defense and loss of speed, I quickly elbowed her right in the chest, she gasped and then gritted her teeth in pain and her body was lifted off the ground from the force behind my attack.
But before she could fly away from me, I caught her by her ankle and slammed her into the ground in front of me, she grunted in pain, but before she could even try to get up, I quickly stomped on her head, knocking her out.
A beam of pure Mana suddenly raced towards me, but I slapped it away with my hand, Momo frowned and then pointed both hands towards me and began to try to barrage me with beam of pure Mana, being beams of energy, they traveled through the air very fast, however, her magical attack was still not fast enough to even come close to touching me.
A fact that was proven correct a few seconds later, right as I was easily dodging her Mana beams, I took off running towards Momo while still dodging her pure Mana magical attacks, this caused her to panic and up her number of Mana beams, but even then, none were able to hit me.
I quickly arrived in front of her and swung my fist towards Momo, in a hurry she raised a Mana Shield, but it immediately shattered as my fist crashed into it, resulting in Momo getting punched in the stomach and being lifted off the ground.
She of coursed cried out in pain, but before she could be attacked again, she waved her hand towards me and sent a wave of flames point blank at me.
She ended flying back through the air a bit, but she actually remembered she had wings and took them out, she stopped herself from futher flying back and crashing into the ground with her wings and quickly turned her head towards the Pillar of Flame she had created when she tried to blast me with magical fire.
Suddenly, within the Pillar of Flames, a purple light suddenly shined and then the flames were extinguished by a blast of energy, Momo gaped as she saw me standing there and completely unharmed by her Fire Spell.
I just smiled at her and shrugged "I spar with my Fire Type Pokémon all the time, trust me, their Fire is way hotter than this, so you won't be able to burn me with something of this level, good try though".
I waved my hand towards Momo and unleashed a barrage of small purple Stardust Orbs, Momo only had time to cover her face with her arms, before my simple orb attack crashed against her and exploded.
The explosion soon subsided and revealed Momo laying in a crater and completely unconscious, Reya immediately attacked next, she swung her arms in a cross and sent a pair of wind slashes my way.
I tapped the ground with my foot and made a wall of stone raise in front of me, the magically reinforced stone, completely stopped the wind slashes, but Reya didn't let that stop her.
She quickly spread her arms open and unleashed a big number of fireballs my way, all the fireballs rounded around my stone wall and headed straight towards me, I waved my hand at them and sent a tidal wave rushing out in front of me.
The fireballs crashed against the tidal wave and dissipated with a bit of steam, while the wave of water headed straight to Reya, but she immediately jumped away and took out her wings.
She took off flying at high speed into the air and began to try to bombard me with Magical fire blasts, she's very good with Magic, but I could tell she wasn't used to long fights or with using this much Mana at once.
I made me realize that she wasn't a fighter, more than likely, she serves a support role in Sona's Peerage, that or she has some other role within the Peerage, still she was giving this her best and that's what I wanted to see.
Reya's Fire bombardment reached me, but I just raised my hand and absorbed the Mana used it creating the fire away for Reya's spell, the flames dissipated immediately without any mana feeding them, the couldn't keep burning.
Reya gaped in shocked while I pointed my finger at her, I used the Mana I took control of away from her and then blasted her with a lightning bolt, Reya screamed in pain as she was electrocuted and then fell towards the ground unconscious.
She crashed landed into the ground head first and then just layed there completely out if the fight, I winced a bit because that looked like a nasty fall, it's a good thing she's a Devil now, a normal person's head would have popped like a pimple from a fall like that.
But didn't have time to worry about her, not when Tsubaki went on the attack, she summoned a Naginata and immediately blurred right in front of me, I quickly changed Excalibur into her Spear Mode and Avalon back into a bracelet.
Tsubaki's eyes widen is surprise for a about a second, but quickly began to attack, I countered each and every one of her attacks, sparks flew everywhere from both of our spears as they clash against each other.
She narrowed her eyes at me and spinned her Naginata around her body, with me doing the same, at the end of our spinning of our weapons, we both swung at at each other at full strength.
He Naginata crashed against Excalibur and a loud clang echoed throughout the area, however, there was a sudden loud cracking sound and Tsubaki's eyes widen in shock when her Naginata shattered into pieces and fell apart on her hands.
She quickly jumped back, but I followed after her and jabbed my spear towards her chest, while yelling the name of my nnext technique "Hurricane Thrust!".
Tsubaki panicked and summoned her Sacred Gear, which manifested into a full body mirror in front of her to try and stop my attack, my Hurricane Thrust stabbed into her mirror and actually held back my technique for about a second before the Mirror shattered.
However to my surprise, the mirror suddenly sent a blast of wind, back at me and actually hit me strong enough to push me back and sent me sliding on the ground in my feet about a feet away from Tsubaki.
Tsubaki sighed in relief when she saw me get pushed back, while I stopped my self with Excalibur and looked up at her "Mirror Alice huh? I actually felt that one for a bit".
Tsubaki widen her eyes at me, seems like she was surprised i recognize her Sacred Gear, dont know know why, its not like no one ahs even seen it before information about is everywhere, in fact both Yasaka and Serafall had catalogs with information on all known Sacred Gear "you know about my Sacred Gear? but how?".
I smiled at her and stood up straight "I knew you had to have one, otherwise you wouldn't have been exiled by your clan, assholes always discrimate against things other cant control, about how I know about Mirror Alice? well, information on Sacred Gear and their basics abilities can be easily found, though I didn't know you had it.
Still, it's strong enough to actually bounce back an attak from me at my current power level, which I lowered to be around Mid High Class, not bad, but it wasn't strong enough to handle all of the damage though".
I pointed at Tsubaki's chest and she lookd down, she gaped when her blouse began to darkened with her blood, her Sacred Gear is strong but wasn't able to fully stop my Hurricane Thrust, the tip of Excalibur still pierced through Tsubaki's Sacred Gear and into her chest.
Tsubaki suddenly coughed up blood and began to drop, but I teleported to her and caught her, she smiled at me and lightly laughed "I least I hit you at once...".
I chuckled and nodded at her, shes right of course, out of everyone in Sona's Peerage "you did good Tsubaki, now rest and recover, I'll make you stronger and make the Shinra Clan regret ever exiling you".
Tsubaki smiled and nodded though some blood began to drip from her mouth, I cleaned it for her and she then passed out, she reminds me a bit of Kaeded, both had the Five Great Clan ruin their lives andmade feel bad for her, so I quickly casted First Aid on her and heal her wound, I almost pierced through her heart, I was hoping to stop before getting to that point, but her Sacred Gear forced me to use a bit more force.
Still she did good and was able to hit me, though it didn't cause me much damage, I layed down Tsubaki on the ground and stood up, while Sona walked up to me and looked around, while staring at her Peerage.
She looked concerned for them and pensive, I smiled already knowing she was thinking about their performance, I suddenly called on Gardevoir, my Psychic and Fairy Type Pokémon appeared still wearing her JSDF helmet and smiled at me.
I smiled at Gardevoir and when she took off her helmet and leaned her head down, I immediately knew what she wanted, so I gave her a headpat, Gardevoir of course smiled and seemed very happy right now.
"Gardevoir, do me a favor and take everyone here back to the cabin, and have Wiene heal them for me, okay?".
Gardevoir nodded, she then stood up straight and put her helmet back on, with that done she quickly began to teleport everyone back to our home, while Sona just sighed "I see... we're too one dimensional with our attacks and tactics, we need more variety".
Sina sighed again and shook her head "we really should have trained more, I should have gotten everyone better Gear too, givethem more practical training, instead I had them running around all over school and filing paperwork...".
I nodded "you're right, a little late to have noticed that, but at least you did, you don't have to woraoutbout the Gear, like I said, I'll be making everyone some later, now that I know how everyone fights, I know just what to make.
Also, you have to many hand to hand fighters, they need long range options or at least learn some good spells, perhaps some tactical spells and skills as well, things that cause sleep or paralysis or even poison, they also don't have a lot of experience fighting.
Even Tsubaki, Tsubasa and Tomoe seemed a bit out of it and I know all three of them have fought Supernatural beings before even joining your Peerage, their battle instincts have dulled a bit".
Sona nodded and looked down "... I guess you were really right, I did focus too much on my Student Council duties, and I neglected to helpy Peerage grow to their full potential".
I nodded, it was good that Sona realized this and accepted it, now, she can onky grow thanks to the experience "now you know, but don't worry, I'll make them strong, they have the potential and the instincts for battle.
They just need to focus and the right kind of training, plus real and good Gear to make them pop, to make them real special".
Sona nodded "I'm going to have to apologize to them, this beating they received was on me, but I'll make sure to support them and helped them better from now on".
I smiled and nodded "sounds great, now let's get out of here and wait for them to wake up, I have a few things to say to them as well, but that can wait for when they recover" .
Sona nodded and together we walked towards the stairs leading to my Cabin/Mansion upstairs, Sona's Peerage did good but now came the time to begin their training, it won't be easy, but I know that can improve a lot and I'mmore than willing to help them do so, in fact I can't wait to start.
An hour later.
Sona's Peerage began to slowly wake up, all of them groaned in pain since they still feel sore and hurting from the beating Rean had delivered, Genshirou suddenly huffed and winced from the pain that flared up on his spine "dear Maou... my back is hurting a lot".
A soft voice suddenly spoke to him from nearby "it's not a surprise your still hurting a lot, papa did snap your spine in half".
Everyone turned their heads towards where the voice came from and saw a blue skinned little girl, wearing a nurse cap on her head sitting on a chair and staring at everyone, her blue hair and bright orange eyes caught everyone's attention with how unique the are.
But the blue haired little girl just shook her head and sighed "I wish papa hadn't done that, it's hard to repair a spine, but oh well, I guess it really hard for him to hold back to begin with, I should be happy he didn't accidentally kill you".
Tomoe suddenly asked a question, one that was on everyone's mind and wanted to ask "papa?".
Wiene tilted her head and then nodded, in her mind she didn't understand why the Tomoe had asked about her papa "Rean papa".
Everyone gaped at Wiene and stared at her in complete shock, suddenly Serafall walked inside and smiled when she saw everyone awake and okay "oh your all up!" she then turned her head towards Wiene and hugged her "good job Wiene! your the best nurse ever!".
Weine smiled and hugged Serafall back, Wiene was always happy to receive praise from all her mothers after all "mama Serafall...".
Everyone her Wiene call Serafall her mother and couldnt help but suddenly yell "What!?".
Serafall turned her head towards everyone and looked confused, until she realized why everyone seems so confused and surprised "oh! that's right, we've never introduced Wiene to anyone except family!.
Well as you heard she's Rean's daughter which makes me along with all the girls that love Rean, her mother as well! isn't she the cutest!?"
Wiene blushed but seemed happy at being called cute, but everyone else was still to shocked to even begin to process Serafall's statement, Tsubaki then sat up and sighed, she had so many questions right now but chose to start witj "how did Rean even have a daughter, much less such an old one?".
Serafall smiled at Tsubaki, and thought how funny it would be, if she were to find out about Hardy and Emroy "that's a long complicated story, needless to say, there were some very unique situations going on that resulted in Wiene's birth, but make no mistake, she is our daughter and we love her very much".
Everyone nodded, they weren't about to argue with Serafall, not when she's obviously happy to be a mother, much less because she's their Maou too, Serafall, of course smiled and then asked Wiene a question "how are they Wiene? are the fully healed?".
Wiene nodded and began to explain the condition Sona's Peerage was in before she healed them "yeah, most had very simple injuries, the boy had his spine snapped in half... the pretty lady with the pig tails had lacerations all over her body, papa didn't hit any vitals which was good, cause she would have die very quickly".
Genshirou sweatdropped at the fact that Rean practically crippled him, while Tomoe gulped, Rean's sword techniques were not only beautiful but also dangerous amd deadly, she was glad he was so good that he could avoid hitting her vitals.
Weine then pointed at Tsubasa "she had a concussion and cracked skull but shes fine now, other than that, papa held back a lot and didn't hurt anyone else too bad".
Everyone sweatdrop and the same thought was running through their head at the same time *that was Rean holding back!?*.

Phew! writing this chapter tired me out quite a bit, lots to keep track of, but I had fun! I hope all I enjoy the fights and Reans words to Sona and her Peerage, I felt, that it was something they needed to hear and understand.
The Supernatural world is no playground and often times in DxD, the kids are getting involved in things that the normally shouldn't be even aware if, so to survive those sorts of thing, they need to grow strong.
Now Rean knows how they fight and well be training them accordingly, as well as making them, cool stuff to help them stand out and fight better.
Next Chapter the training begins! there will be time skips as the training goes on, but a lot will be happening! so make sure you guys don't miss anything!.
