maskedinsanity: Arthur did his best, and Rean only used his sword skill and Excalibur, so he did havesome leeway, still, the fact that lasted that long alone is statement to his talent with the blade.
Arthur won't be mentioning his match with Rean or Rean himself, there were som hints in the talk at the end but it will be revealed why, in the next chapter.

Techniques that are sure kill and very dangerous, like for example, anything to do with the Power of Destruction, will have to be banned, I don't think speed and quick assassination attack count though, otherwise, no Knight in a Peerage would be allowed to participate then.
Now for your questions.
A) If that becomes necessary, then it will happen way in the future and in the background.
B) That was a mistake on my part lol, but no, Kyoto in this story will become something different for this story.
C) It similar sure, but it's less important in DxD and not really enforced per say, the Supernatural world does have a lot of connections to human and because Devils make deals with humans, there's a lot of normal people that know about the Supernatural.
So this situation isn't as extreme as the Magicals take it in Harry Potter, that and most Supernatural beings don't really care either way, I mean, Sona and Rian used Magic in plain sight while playing Tennis in the show.

Yes, Rean's stance is similar to Adam's of RWBY, his style is more dynamic though and has longe range attack, plus each technique has different variations as well.
I'll see about what to do with Kuroka, there's a lot that will happen because of the information she's going to be revealing later on, but that might happen until Rean returns from his next world jump.

Chapter 32.
Koneko and I arrived back to the our friends rather quickly, Rias immediately turned to look at me and I shook my head towards her to let her know that I'll tell her what happened later, she of course understood and gave me a nod, the Youth Gathering Event was about to begin after all and she needed to get her head in the game.
So, there wasn't any time for explanations right now, however, I ran into a problem, Koneko refused to let go of my hand, I mean, really refuse! I tried asking her to let me but she shook her head and deadpanned at me.
Rias also asked her, but she also received a head shake and a deadpanned in challenge, Rias found the whole thing amusing though, so she let Koneko do whatever she wanted, which left me stuck hanging out with Sona's and Rias's Peerages as they were moved to a special room along the other Young Devil Kings.
This is how I got to meet two other young Devil Kings, first one I got to meet is Seekvaira Agares, a bespectacled young woman, maybe a year older than Rias and Sona, pale greenish hair and pink eyes.
She gave off this posh vibe that made her look cold and uncaring, but I knew the truth about her, not only is she a rival to Sona, but she's also a childhood friend to Rias and like her, she has quite the strong Otaku tendencies, just that her interest lie in Mecha.
So despite looking cold and uncaring, she's quite the nerd about anything to do with Mecha, like in the show, we all found Seekvaira arguing with Zephyrdor Glasya-Labolas, this guy not only looked like delinquent.
But also like some kind of deformed evil Dark Elf, he has the dark skin and long ears, though his hair is a light green color instead of the pale lavender of the Dark Elves I know from the Special Region.
Zephyrdor is loud and quite annoying as well, his arrogant attitude just grates on your nerves and the way he insulted Seekvaira, was not only crude as hell, but completely uncalled for.
He's definitely not someone tailored for these kinds of events and made me wonder why they even picked him for this to begin with, I know the original Heir was killed by Diodora, but his clan could have chosen someone else rather than this asshole.
Either way, I would have shut him up, but not only was Koneko still holding my hand tightly, but I knew someone else would show up to shut him up eventually and a few moments later, Sairaorg Bael showed up.
The dude was tall as hell, taller than me and that's saying a lot, black hair and violet eyes, but his life force was the thing that shined through, my eyes, even without using my Akashic Dragon Eyes, can pick up energy and even life force.
The way I saw life force was like a flame, most humans have this small blue flame that flickers constantly, Devils have a black flame and depending how strong they are the flame's size differs.
Angels have a white flame, while Fallen Angel's life force is showed as a grey flames and Yokai have a green flame, the only ones who really are different from the rest of the world, are us, the girls, my daughters and my flame's of life force are rainbowed colored, with strong hints of purple flames.
Sairaorg's flames are black like any other Devil's, but it has strong hints of green flames, like a Yokai, which I think comes about because of his mastery of Touki, which is quite literally KI Manipulation to this world.
His life force flame is also huge and shinning brightly, this guy is quite the powerhouse for sure, it's no wonder he's the strongest of all Young Devils, well except Sona and her Peerage that is, they have already surpassed all Devils, like Serafall did a long while ago.
Still, it is quite amazing to see a Devil reach this level of power on his own, most Devils are either too arrogant and lazy to actually train or improve themselves, is why they stagnate and never get stronger and why Rias, Sona and their Peerages grew so strong in canon.
They alone had to go through a lot of ordeals to survive and save their world, life and death situations plus constant battles are a great way to push a Supernatural beings past their limits to reach levels of power beyond anything possible.
It's what I did with Sona and her Peerage, but in a more control manner and safely as possible, but Sairaorg didn't have anyone help him or believe in him, he went out there and got this strong on his own.
And it shows with how he sent Zephyrdor crashing to a wall with just a light tap, not that I feel bad for the delinquent Dark Elf looking jerk, he had it coming for being an ass.
Seekvaira thanked Sairaorg and then apologized for her behavior, no one held it against her though, anyone would explode when dealing with someone as annoying like Zephyrdor.
Sairaorg just smiled and gave Seekvaira a nod, he then walked over to Rias and gave her grin in greeting "Rias, no time no see, how are you?".
Rias of course smiled back at her cousin, she seemed very happy to so him "Sai, I've been great actually, it look like you been good as well, you seem in high spirits".
Sairaorg nodded "of course, after that fight I saw on your so call wedding part to Riser Phenex, I was so motivated to train even more! I was inspired to reach even higher than before".
Rias tensed up, looks like she had completly forgotten errors that Sairaorgwas presenst when i fought Sirzechs "err... I forgot you were there".
Seekvaira tilted her head and turned her gaze towards Sona "did I miss something in that event? I didn't want to go because I wouldn't have been able to stop myself from acting, but it seems something interesting did end up happening huh?".
Sona began to nervously sweat, looks like both Sona and Rias forgot, that my battle against Sirzechs had been kept a secret between the Sitri. Gremory and Phenex families, they did used their power and rank to keep eveyone present in that party quiet about what happened after all.
But it seems Sairaorg didn't get the memo, either that or he just doesn't give a shit, before Sona could even try to come up with an answer to Seekvaira's question, Sairaorg beat her to the punch "did you miss something? yeah you did, you missed Riser Phenex getting showered with a lot of Holy water and the battle of the century! a battle between Sir...".
Hoo boy, Sairaorg finally noticed me, he trailed of mid sentence the moment his eyes landed on me, just standing there and chilling besides Koneko, the dude just stood there not knowing what to do or say and to be quite honest, it was kinda funny.
Poor Sona and Rias looked like they were having a panic attack, after all, Sairaorg almost revealed that someone fought against Sirzechs back in that party, something that was being kept a secret so the Devils can save face.
Seekvaira was of course curious about what had Sairaorg very distracted, so she turned her head to see what he was staring at and saw me, she raised an eyebrow and then said "oh? you got a new member in your Peerage Rias".
Rias looked a bit confused a first, but soon realized what Seekvaira meant, she immediately shook her head really fast denying that I'm part of her Peerage, more than likely she didn't want for me to get upset at the assumption.
I didn't really care though, though I did decide to introduce myself at least "I'm Rean Hayashi and I'm quite literally 'what the cat dragged in' ".
Cause is true, Koneko dragged me in here and into this situation, my little joke, got everyone in Sona's and Rias's Peerages laughing, they found the joke very funny it seems.
Seekvaira just looked confused, until Sairaorg suddenly ripped his upper clothes off and then flexed his muscles while pointing at me "fight me!".
"... the fuck?" yeah, Sairaorg just completely caught me of guard, I mean good job?... I really don't know how to feel about this.
I mean, what was that? Sairaorg never did anything like that in Canon, so where did it come from and why? all of this was so unexpected that it surprised me quite a bit and I wasn't the only either.
Everyone present stared at Sairaorg in confusion, however we were saved by whatever the hell this was, when Sairaorg's Queen, Kuisha Abbadon appeared out of no where and pulled on Sairaorg's ear.
This caused Sairaorg to grunt in pain, but also grin in amusement towards sus Queen who looked at him exasperated at his actions, she quickly turned towards us and gave us a small bow "sorry about that! we spent some time training with some Oni on Okinawa after what happened in the Phenex and Gremory wedding party, and my King picked up some very odd mannerism from there...".
Everyone looked confused, but I on the other hand, couldn't help but sweatdrop, Oni, are some of the biggest muscle heads and bros you can ever meet, they're so different now from the bloodthirsty and violent way they used to be in ancient Japan.
Most Oni now a days just spent their days bodybuilding and being bros all the time, I honestly can see why Sairaorg went to train with them, there very intense to begin with, there's a reason why Kaede and Hanako are considered outliers from any other Oni after all.
Everyone nodded to Kuisha, though most were still looking quite perplexed at what had happened, Sairaorg stood up straight after Kuisha let go of his ear and then smile like nothing happened.
I got to admit, I like Sairaorg, he just seems like a cool and fun dude to hang out with, Sairaorg then began to speak "yeah, sorry about that, that sort of happens when I get excited! but besides that, I still want to fight you!".
Sona and Rias turned to stared at me with a nervous expression on their faces, which in all honesty, makes sense that they seem unsure at how I would react, since, I don't like dealing with Devils and they know that.
Still, I don't much mind dealing with Sairaorg, him and his Peerage are the underdogs of the Underworld, no one believed in them and everyone in his Peerage was looked down and mocked by all other Devils, even Sairaorg himself was ostracized because he wasn't born with the Power of Destruction from the Bael Clan.
But now they're respected and looked upon in a good light because of everything they accomplished, its hard not to like them and want to get to know them better, heck, now having met Sairaorg, made kinda cheer for him so all his dreams and goals get fulfilled.
With that in mind I decided to grant him his request "you know what? sure, I'll fight you, just come over to Kuoh town, I'm sure Rias and Sona will happily tell you where you can find me".
Sairaorg grinned and seemed very happy, Sona sighed and shook her head "he's going to regret having challenged Rean...".
Everyone is Sona's Peerage slumped and nodded at the same time, which made me laugh at bit, especially because Rias and everyone looked confused at them, if only they knew that Sona and her Peerage had fought me so many times, that they literally are traumatized by everything I've done to them.
Sairaorg didn't even care though, he was over the moon that he got me to agree to fight him, Kuisha just sighed at her King, but had a small smile of amusement on her face.
However, we didn't get the chance to continue to speak since eveyone was called to step inside the chamber, so the new young Devil Kings can introduce themselves and declared their goals, I was of coursed dragged by Koneko with the rest of Rias's Peerage, not that I cared though.
Every new Devil Kings was seated in front of a few high podiums, around the podiums were all sort of Devils seated and present, all of them stared at the young Devil Kings and their Peerages with curiosity, calculating looks and even some greed.
Though pretty much everyone stared in surprise at Sairaorg, the guy decided to just go 'fuck it!' and go through the event shirtless, pretty bold of him really, it didn't make me wonder, just what kind of behavior did he picked up from those bro Onis.
But everyone snapped their attention away from Sairaorg, when Sirzechs, Serafall, Ajuka, Micheal, Azazel and Odin, along with Rossweiss stepped inside the chamber and took a seat on the high Podiums.
Though Serafall immediately turned her head towards me and raised an eyebrow at me, no doubt, she was curious as to why I was sitting among Rias's Peerage.
I just raised the hand Koneko was holding tightly and pointed at it with my free hand, Serafall lightly laughed understanding my predicament, she had noticed how Koneko seems to get very clingy to me whenever Rika wasn't around.
Her and the girls found it funny and endearing, so most of the time they just laugh at my situation with Koneko, in hindsight, it is pretty funny so I don't blame them.
Serafall shook her head and turned towards Sirzechs who stood up, introduced the other Faction Leaders that had come in with and the fact that Asgard had joined the Peace Treaty.
All the Devils clapped at the announcements and introductions, though a lot of them were just slowly and politely clapping, a lot of Devils must, either don't care about it at all or they don't agree with what's going on.
But they knew better than to voice their opinion, especially when three Maous were present in the room, so they just clapped to be polite, not that Sirzechs cared, he just kept going like a champ and ignored the slow and sarcastic claps.
Some time later he then introduced each new young Devil King and went aboit asking them what their dreams and goals are for the future, not only as Devil Kings with a Peerage, but as Heirs of the Devil Clans.
I didn't pay much attention to whatever Diodora and Zephyrdor said, those two are asshole and will be gone soon enough, they have no future, to me at least, he then got to Seekvaira, but when she started speaking, I felt a disturbance in space right to the side of the room, somethingor someone had teleported in here.
Odin seemed to have noticed it along with Serafall, since we three briedfly turned our gazes towards where the disturbance came from, by the time we turned back our attention to what was going, Sairaorg began to speak.
Unlike Canon, and because in this world, the Khaos Bridgade isn't as active right now, Sairaorg didn't mention anything about joining the war against them, after all, the Khaos Brigade's movement have been kept underwraps by the leaders of the Peace Treaty, specifically because they haven't been as active.
Instead he just announced his goal to become a Maou someday, this however surprised the Devils, in their mind they couldn't understand why, someone would ever give up being the head of an old and powerful Devil clan like the Bael.
But, these guys would never understand someone like Sairaorg, he wants to make changes, help those that are ostracized and pushed away from the rest of the Devil Faction, being a Maou would allow him to that and more.
But there's also the fact that Sairaorg just doesn't care about the Bael Devil Clan, after all, who would want to a part of a family, that not only spat and forsaken you for not being born with their power? but only that but they also pushed him and his mother away from them.
It was Sairaorg's hard work and dedication that made the Bael Clan notice him, but at that point,he didn't want anything to do with the Bael Clan and I can't blame him, in fact, the Bael are lucky that Sairaorg didn't do to them what I did to my Clan.
So Sairaorg ignored all comments going on around him like a champ, he just stared at the Maou and stood there with a grin on his face, he was practically declaring that he was coming for their jobs.
I don't know about Sirzechs or Ajuka, but Serafall would probably hand over her title, but Sairaorg isn't really a good choice for Foreign Affairs, so the best Maou position he should go after is Sirzechs's since he deals with Internal Affairs.
Or that other Maou, what was his name? the very lazy one... ah yes, Falbium Asmodeus, I believe he's the Maou in charge of Military affairs, Sairaorg would be a great general of the Devil Faction's army.
Soon enough Sairaorg sat back down and Sirzechs turned his head towards Rias, he smiled at his sister and then said "And you Rias what are you go-... Rean what are you doing sitting there?".
Every Devil in attendance turned their head towards me after Sirzechs finally noticed me, sitting and chilling among the young Devils, in fact, me and Koneko were eating some pastries I brought with me in my inventory, some very delicious Bluk Berry muffins.
In fact, Sirzechs called out to me mid bite, so I stopped and looked at him "hm? oh, well, the view here is pretty nice, I get to see your ugly mug perfectly well from down here".
Rias sighed and shocked her head in amusement, while Sona just face-palmed from my response to Sirzechs, all other Devils just gaped at me, well except Serafall, she was just laughing, finding what I said hilarious.
Sirzechs just nervously chuckled and then went on with what he was saying to Rias "well, putting that aside, what are you goals for the future Rias?".
Rias stood up and then smiled as she began to explain what she wanted to do with her time as an official young Devil King "I want to rank number one in the Rating Games".
A very simple goal, one, that if this were to be canon, she would have a good chance to fulfill it, but! unfortunately for Rias, Sona and her Peerage, won't be making it easy for her.
They are after all, way above all Devils in power levels, except Serafall of course, the other Devils however clapped and seemed to think that Rias's goal was a good one, and it is, it's just sort of lackluster.
Rias, sat back down soon after and then came Sona's turn, Sirzechs turned his head towards her and then said "Sona Sitri, what are your goals as a young Devil King?".
Sona closed her eyes and sighed a bit, she then stood up and opened her eyes towards the Maou, Azazel, Michael and Odin, she stared at everyone for a few seconds, but soon began to speak "I have two goals...
One is to open a school to teach, train and advise Supernatural beings about Devil Culture, Magic, Fighting techniques and practically everything they might ever need to survive this world".
There was absolute silence, in Canon, Sona declared her dream of opening a school and every Devil laughed at her, now though? Sona unconsciously projected her power, power above even Sirzechs, with only her voice.
She had no idea she did it though, but it was effective, that sort of power and the sure tone of her voice, let every Devil in here know of how sure she was of her dreams and goals, so much in fact, that no one even dared say a peep.
Ajuka and Sirzechs were sure surprised, Sirzechs immediately turned his head towards me stared into my eyes intently, I stared back at him for a few seconds but then gave him a smirk.
That, made Sirzechs nervously sweat, seems like he understood what had happened to Sona and was now feeling rather stressed at what it could mean, not my problem though, he can deal with the after math.
It's his job as the Maou of Internal Affairs after all, Serafall was proudly smiling at Sona, she definitely supported her, which mean that I will also support her, in the future, when she opens her school, I'll be there to help in anyway I can.
Not only as her sensei, but as his brother in law as well, seeing as everyone was too surprised and speechless, Serafall decided to keep the event going "and your second goal Sona?".
Now, this was a surprise to even me, Sona didn't have a second goal in the anime, but then again, a lot has happened to her lately, she has grown and gotten stronger, not only physical, mentally but spiritually as well.
So, I'm very curious about what her second goal could be, Sona smiled and then said "my second goal is to surpass you and Rean in power someday, to become the next Leviathan Maou".
Serafall grinned at the challenge, while I chuckled finding it amusing, who knows, maybe Sona will find someway in the future to surpass a Dragon God, I mean, since she has a bond with me, she could evolve into a higher race some day and who knows what sort of power she can gain.
Everyone else was completely speechless about Sona's challenging declaration, even Rias was gaping at her best friend and rival, Sairaorg was the only one clapping, no surprise there though.
He would support someone aiming to surpassed someone else in power,I can even see an excited glint in his eyes, I bet he can't wait to fight Sona in a Rating Game.
After a bit, everyone recovered from Sona's sudden and powerful declarations, no one said anything though, instead they opted to observe Sona and her Peerage, like they were trying to figure them out or something.
The Maous then began to make announcements, congratulations and even gave some advise to the new young Devil Kings, it was a way to finally close the event and have everyone go back to the party so they can enjoyed themselves and that's what everyone did.
However, I was keeping an eye on the peeping tom that had snuck into the Young Gathering Event, whoever this person was, must be powerful, not just anyone could manipulate the fabric of space to become invisible and directly teleport here.
Whoever that was, it was sticking close to Odin, which made suspect who could it be, but his presence here confused me, Loki wasn't supposed to show up until later.
Then again, so did Odin and Rossweiss, so this means, that some Canon events have been pushed forward, more than likely because of my actions, but I wasn't particularly worried, Loki isn't someone who could pose a threat to me.
But I kept a close eye on him, I knew he was going to make a dramatic entrance and while he was doing that I was going to deal with him in a way that not only will hurt him, but also warn Odin of ever pissing me off again.
Old bastard though he was clever, but Giratina had stayed in his shadow as I passed him on my way out, so I heard that he insulted Rossweiss just get a reaction out me and I don't appreciate that, at all.
So, I was going to scare the daylights out of the old man using Loki, I just had to wait for the right moment.
It took a while, but Loki made his move when Sirzechs stood up and declared a toast to all the new young Devil Kings, when Sirzechs raised his glass, Loki appeared right in front him and the rest of the Peace Treaty leaders while sarcastically clapping.
This made everyone 'except me and Serafall' gasp in surprise and shock, Odin didn't react too much either, he just narrowed his eyes at Loki.
For his part, Loki just smirked at Odin and brgan to speak "All Father, you seem to be having fun here with your new friends and allies".
Odin sighed "Loki, what are you doing here?".
Loki grinned and spread his arms wide open "I'm here to stop this nonsense, Gods forming an alliance with lower life forms is an insult to Asgard!".
Odin huffed in annoyance and shook hisheadin disappointment "we can no longer ignore the changes happening in the world, there's a lot happening lately, things you don't have a clue about... we need allies and friends, or Asgard will perish".
Loki frowned and stared at Odin in silence for a good few minutes, butthe fool then began to speak "so you scared of that Dragon too, you a God? scared of a lizard? just how much have you fallen Odin? we have our own Dragons, we even have Dragonslaying weapons!.
Why do you cower before such weak and mindless beast? we can easily defeat it! and show the world just how powerful Asgard really is!".
Odin moved his gaze towards me and was sweating profusely, not going to lie, Loki's words annoyed me, Serafall looked quite annoyed as well, she was glaring daggers at Loki at this very moment, but he either didn't care or he was to arrogant to actually be concerned about Serafall.

Odin's tone of voice and how pale he looked must have triggered something in Loki, because he frowned and stared into Odin's eyes for a few seconds, soon after he spoke "it's here isn't? that Dragon is here today! where is it!? show it to me and I'll show you there's nothing to fear!".
Odin widen his eyes, along with Sirzechs's, Sona's, Rias's the Gremory's, Sitri's and Phenex's, they panicked as all the other Devils gasped and looked around wildly, while Loki just grinned like a maniac.
It was here that I had enough, I snapped my fingers and sent a Hypnosis wave at everyone present in this party, except the Faction Leaders, everyone present in the party instantly fell asleep, with that done I teleported everyone back to their home and began to walk forward.

I see, so that's why the Khaos Brigade's hasn't been that active lately, my appearance must have made them scramble around, trying to come up with counter measures against my scaly giant butt.
But, I had enough out of this clown, so I snapped my fingers and raise a barrier around me and Loki, the God of Michief looked around and frowned as he inspected my barrier "whats this? what sort of Magic did you use? I can't decipher it".
"that's because it's not Magic, it pure manipulation of energy, I sealed both you and I, out of Time and Space, teleportation doesn't work here, Magic other than mine is also canceled out, even your divinity isn't allowed to manifest in here".
Loki widen his eyes, Odin, Rossweiss, Azazel and Michael gaped at me in shock, Ajuka looked completely terrified and well, I don't blame him, without Magic, he's not that much of a threat, Sirzechs and Serafall just seemed amused by everyone's expressions.
Loki took a few steps out and tried to desperately call to his Mana, when that didn't work, he tried to absorb Mana from the air, but that didn't work either, he then tried his Divinities.
Those didn't work as well, he looked up at me in shock and nervously said "how?... how is this possibly!? I'm a God! my authority is beyond any creature in this world!".
I just shrugged "I'm a Dragon God, I have multiple Conceptual Domains, among them is Energy, Mana is energy, and it obeys my command.
If I wanted it, I could have all Mana in the world and in every person leave the Planet, or just disappear, all with just a few commands, the same with Divinities.
I can single handedly, take away everything that makes a God, well a God, in fact the reason you can't sense my energy is because I'm protected and I don't want you to.

Odin and Rossweiss gasped in both fear and shock, the information of what I'm capable of, must have been something that they had never even considered, and who can blame them, I can cancel any abilities that use any kind of energy from their users.
That's a big deal, because everyone with any kind if Supernatural power, Magic, Skill and Ability uses some kind of energy, me having the Conceptual control over energy goes beyond than just controlling my energy better.
There's practically nothing I can't do with that single Concept and it's not even my most powerful one either, just the most practical.
Loki was stunned into silence, he just stood there completely still and staring at me with wide open eyes, I usually don't show off this much, but Odin pissed me off earlier in the day and then Loki decided to do so as well.

Loki was suddenly stopped when his back hit my barrier, he gasped and quickly tried to do something, which I suspect was him trying to summon a Dragonslaying weapon but nothing happened, I just grinned and then said "oops, did you have them in a Magical Pocket Dimension? too bad, no Magic allowed remember?".
Loki stared at me with eyes full of horror, in a blink of an eye I reached over and grabbed hold of Loki's neck, the God of Mischief gaped and hacked as I lifted him into the air and then said "now, I'm going to make you into an example, you will be proof of what will happen if anyone dares to ever piss me off again!".

There we go! the Youth Gathering Event is over buy boy did a lot happened during this event huh? Rean got dragged into the Young Devil Kings group wby Koneko being clingy.
But it was all bad though, he got to meet Seekvaira and Sairaorg! which was a funny event, Sairaorg, inspired by Rean's and Sirzechs's battle, immediately left to train after that event.
He ended uo in Okinawa and training with a group of Oni bros! so Sairaorg end up picking some weird habits lol, but doesn't matter though, this isn't Canon DxD anyways XD who knows what will happen next.
Sona also showed a big change to the way she responded in Canon in the Youth Gathering Event, she now wasn't to become stronger and become the Next Leviathan Maou!.
And then there was Loki, the idiot showed up and began to start shit, he's so arrogant that he began to even insult Rean, not a good idea since Rean had been annoyed earlier in the day.
