OK here is where the two plotlines finally collide, I really feel this is so much better than in A Rogue and His Mutant and so much has changed by making the Mutant OC younger like biological younger and thus having her act like a typical child, she means well but like all children she is self-centered and sees things in terms of how they can benefit or harm her not making her big and strong physically but mentally a lickspittle, one reason I lost interest in the previous story was I realized the previous story's situation where she wins over the Scarecrow's heart 'because she's just so sweet!' is not very believable being a lickspittle is not how you win the respect of Scarecrow, Scarecrow and Riddler both respect the mind so one has to show they're smart to earn his respect.
The Turtles looked up and saw one of the infamous Gotham Rogues, The Scarecrow...
"The Professor..." Donatello said quietly "Professor Crane! Enna! That's the Scarecrow!"
"Yeah so?" Enna said already not sure what was going on.
"So?!" Mikey exclaimed "He's a Supervillain! He makes fear gas to scare people!"
"Enna!" Jonathan was already fearful that these Turtle creatures might take Enna away from him "Who are these creatures?!"
Already beginning to feel her heart beat fast, as she realized she was caught between two different opinions, and she was worried which one was the right one.
"Like...Even if Scarecrow does do that..." She said "...Then surely he only scares the evil people, he rescued me!"
"We're going going home!" Scarecrow said roughly grabbing her wrist
"OW! MY ARM!" Enna exclaimed, and remembering the stitches, Jonathan gingerly moved his hand from her wrist to her hand.
And that's when Leo drew his swords "Enna is coming with us..." And Enna got a child down her spine, he was a Turtle, but his voice in that moment seemed to her more like the rumble of a big cat about to strike!
Jonathan began to back away away pulling Enna with him and he held out his hand with the fear gas squirting gloves...
Raph got out his sais and began to charge and that's when Enna acted and her purple eyes briefly shone with all the colors of the rainbow as she put Raph in a mind trap!
As Raph was in midstep when the psychic attack happened, he fell foreward and fell flat on his face, he was lucky he didn't injure himself with his sais as he fell!
"Raph!" Leo exclaimed
Thinking quickly Enna shouted "I put a spell on your brother! He won't wake up unless you let us leave!"
Leo quickly went to his fallen brother's side and quickly felt his plus, he then scowled, there was a fire in his eyes Enna never wanted to see again "You have no idea what you're doing..." He hissed
"She has chosen her side Terrapin!" Scarecrow hissed back as he took Enna across the cable he had set up earlier to get to the next building "I advise you do yourselves a favor and leave Gotham before you get yourselves turned into soup..." As he finished saying that he felt that last one was cheesy not huis usual calibur.
As the two of them made their way back to the truck, as they buckled their seatbelts Scarecrow turned to Enna and asked "How come that Turtle with the red mask didn't wake up as soon as you...Weren't concentrating?"
"There is...Timed mind traps I can do." Enna said trying to figure out how to best explain it "Like if I have a specific...Plot...In mind I can put that in their heads, and they won't wake up until the...Plot fisnishes like a TV episode."
"Your Mind Trap is sounding better and better all the time..." Scarecrow said "...I see you have the potential to continue my work in ways I never imagined!"
And that was when Enna thought about what the Turtles had said to her, and now Enna was beginning to get the sense that maybe Scarecrow wasn't so nice, that maybe he was like the evil scientists she was trying to run from...She was beginning to worry if she had made the right choice...Remembering how much easier it felt telling her story to the Turtles, her fellow Mutant Animals rather than this human.
When they returned home, Enna said "I know they kind of freaked out at the last minute. Whipping out their swords and...Weird knives...But...They seemed nice at first...Maybe we could...Become friends with them?"
And Scarecrow whirled around "Oh!" He said "You think they were just being 'nice' well take it from one who has experience with these things...I know that as four adolesant males they only wanted you for one thing!"
"One thing?" Enna cocked her head looking completely clueless
Jonathan knew she was approaching the age of puberty he really didn't want to spell it out for her "What males always want from females..." He said
Enna had to think for a moment "You mean...Um...Getting married? Having babies? But...Their Turtles, I'm an Otter! We're different species!"
Jonathan took off his hat and mask "That isn't inherriently a deterrent..." He said "...I saw their eyes Enna, I could see they had never seen a Female Mutant Animal before, and what would be the few years for you to wait until you become a woman for a creature that is known to live over a hundred years? Just to know the touch of a female..."
"Uh...Professor are you OK?" Enna asked noticing the change in Jonathan's demeanor "You look a little...Sweaty..."
Jonathan sighed "I...I want to tell you a story..." He said "...A story of when I briefly tried to be a Teacher again, and my favorite student was a young lady named Molly Randell."
So once again referencing that particular story from the spin-off comics where Jonathan tried to reform but when his favorite student was 'hurt' by her boyfriend (Thankfully leaves most of it to your imagination) He dons the Scarecrow costume again to torture to boor who hurt his favorite student
