Today, we have a little bit of action, but this chapter is mostly fun mellow time! lost of conversations and character getting to know each other better, plus some funny moments! I hope all of you enjoy this chapter!.

Bearticguy7: I mean, there's already Ophis and Rean, they're Dragon Gods, but I think we need a third, I'll think about it, though having a pantheon of Dragon Gods won't really do much, Dragons as a whole are not interested in the world at large, Rean is different, because he was human first and became a Dragon God later.

spellboundfool: Yup, the gossip circle is real everywhere! the lesson will stick because Frederick will see that Rean and Robin really are good guys, everyone in the Shepherds is a comic relief at some point lol.

Nah, Vaike doesn't die, the dude is just to lucky lol and yes, I'll try to give some info about events if Rean wasn't present, but keep in mind that I'm already writing 6k to 7k long chapters and that I write in the evenings, your asking me to extend that even more by me having to write even more... in any case I'll try to do so but I make no promises.

Chapter 44.
Chrom sighed and put Falchion away "finally, and good riddance!... but if they're appearing this far up the Northroad...".
Frederick walked over on his horse and nodded to Chrom "then no path is safe, we'll need to stay wary and keep an eye for the Risen, we can't just let them roam around".
Pidgeot suddenly screeched making everyone to look at her as she landed in front of me, I smiled at my Flying and Normal Type Pokémon and scratched the side of her face causing her to coo at me in delight.
Suddenly, a red headed woman wearing a Witch's hat came out running from the forest and joined everyone, I believe that was Miriel the Mage another member of the Shepherds, she walked up to me and Pidgeot and smiled at my Pokémon "ah! thank you, seems like I was able to reunite with everyone thanks to you".
Pidgeot smiled and then nodded her head, though she did slowly so I wouldn't stop giving her scratches, Miriel then looked around and then deadpanned at Vaike, when she noticed him flexing at Nidoking who had arrived.
Though Nidoking just flex his muscles back not backing down from a challenge of strength and power, the rest of my Pokémon soon arrived and they walked up to me, Miriel walked up to Vaike and began to scold him again for dropping his axe..
Vaike was of course happy to have hotten his axe back during the battle, but his cheer was soon gone when Miriel began to scold him something fierce for dropping it again and becausethey weren in battle she had the leeway to really let him have it, Tione and Tiona just laughed at Vaike as the dude suffered.
Sheesh, the twins have no mercy sometimes, even my war were ringing from Vaike's scolding, Lissa and Sumia were busy petting and giving attention to the Pokémon, who didn't mind, though Snorlax, just scratched his belly and sat down as Lissa hugged him tightly and squealed at how bouncy and soft his body is.
Robin then stepped up to me and smiled "thanks Rean, we would have been overwhelmed by the Risen if it wasn't because of your Pokémon".
"No problem Robin, besides, my Pokémon like fighting, so they're always willing to help with situations like these".
Pidgeot spread her wings and screech in agreement to my words, which made both Robin and me laugh.
Soon after, we took a look around to make sure that all the Risen were taken care of, once we made sure they were all gone, we then continued our march towards Regna Ferox.
Snorlax, Pidgeot, Flygon, Ribombee, Nidoking and Ampharos decided to come with us along with Suicune, so now we have seven Pokémon coming with us during our mach, not that anyone minded though.
Nidoking got along with Vaike, both seemed to understand each other pretty well for some reason, Ribombee would take turns riding on the girls' head, even Sully's and she didn't seem to mind either.
She would just smiled and look up at the Bug and Fairy Type Pokémon, Suicune and Ampharos would walk with Lissa and Sumia, who would give them headpats and hugs often.
Flygon would fly around Chrom and occasionally poke Falchion with her claw, I think she can sense that it was forged out of a Dragon Fang and was curious about it, Chrom just smiled and let her do what she wanted.
Pidgeot is flying above us and keeping an eye from the sky for us, something Robin suggested and Pidgeot agreed to do, so she's our look out now.
Though Robin was paying more attention to Snorlax, who was rolling besides the group while his using Rollout to move "... just how is he moving without being able to see?".
I chuckled and shrugged, I know that Snorlax was using Aura to be able to tell where he was going, but it's more fun to watch Robin trying to make sense of all of this.
Miriel seemed curious too, because, she was staring at Snorlax and writing something down on a little journal, seems like she was making some observations and coming up with theories as Robin also question Snorlax's ability to drive while using Rollout.
Suddenly, Pidgeot screeched catching everyone's attention, Robin looked towards where Pidgeot was flying and raised an eyebrow "well, what do we have here?".
Lissa smiled and the said "hey, is that what I think it is?".
Pidgeot landed in front of a Pegasus, and she began to coo at it, when she noticed that it was scared and hurt.
Chrom, Robin, Lissa and I walked forward, Chrom looked at the Pegasus and noticed it was injured "it's a Pegasus, all right, but I think it's hurt... let just have a look here".
Chrom tried to walk over the Pegasus, but it got startled and began to neigh loudly, and trash around, Chrom got surprised because he almost got kicked in the head, so he stepped back "whoa! down girl! easy there!".
Pidgeot screeched at the Pegasus, which seems to calm her down, Chrom stepped back and sighed "phew... I almost got my head kicked off my shoulders".
Tiona walked over and laughed a bit "good thing you didn't lose your head, that would have been a very funny way for the prince of Ylisstol to die".
Chrom sweatdropped and nodded in agreement, that's certainly not the way he wants to go, that's for sure, Tione giggled and then asked a question "but what do we do? we can't treat the poor thing is she's too scared to let anyone get close".
Everyone nodded, but Sumia suddenly spoke up as she walked forward "one moment guys!".
But then poor Sumia tripped and landed face first on the ground again, even I couldn't help but wince, because shit, that sounded like it hurt, Snorlax stopped using Rollout and then walked over to Sumia.
He then quickly picked her up by the nape of her clothes and put her down on her feet, though Sumia seemed a bit wobbly on her feet, not that I blame her, she did crashed onto the ground head first so she was bound to be a bit wobbly.
Chrom sweatdropped and looked very worried for her "Sumia! are you alright?... those boots of yours again?".
Tione sighed "this is a bit too much for it to be just her boots...".
Tiona nodded and nervously laughed as she scratched her head, meanwhile, Sumia shook her head and blinked when she registered what Chrom said "no! I mean, yes! I mean... ugh~".
Sumia slumped where she stood, though Snorlax did gave her a headpat to cheer her up, it seemed to work since she smiled at Snorlax, the Normal Type then took out an Oran Berry and handed it to her.
Sumia took it and stared at the Berry in confusion, I chuckled at her confusion and decided to explain what it is that she was holding "that's an Oran Berry Sumia, its a special kind of fruit that can even heal a bit, go ahead, give it a try".
Everyone's widen their eyes in surprise at the mention of the Oran Berry's effects, however, Sumia just took a bite out of the Oran Berry and smiled at the taste, everyone then watched on as the bruise on her forehead that was already forming, healed and disappeared.
Sumia smiled and then cheerfully said "it's delicious!".
Everyone smiled at Sumia, specially because she seemed to be in a better mood now, in fact she quickly walked up to the Pegasus with a big smile on her face.
Though, that made Chrom worried about her "careful Sumia, she's very aggressive right now".
But Sumia just smiled and said "it's okay, Captain, I can handle this" Sumia reached the Pegasus and immediately reached for her snout and began to gently pet it.
The Pegasus let out a few nervous whinnies but Sumia just smiled and gently said "shhh... easy now, girl, I won't hurt you".
The Pegasus seemed to calm down and let Sumia hugged her face and she continued to softly speak to the Pegasus "shhh.. its going to be alright.".
Everyone smiled at the way Sumia handled the Pegasus, I can see why she's so good with the Pokémon, she's just a kind and gentle soul, Pokémon and animals can sense that and it makes them like Sumia quite a bit.
Robin seemed rather awed at Sumia right now as well "how did she calm it so quickly?".
Tiona smiled and commented her thoughts about this "I think it's because Sumia is a kind soul, animals can sense that easily you know?".
Robin nodded, while Lissa seemed very impressed "that's incredible, Sumia!".
Chrom nodded "I've never seen anything like it".
Sumia blushed at the praise and shook her head "oh, it's... it's nothing, really, I just have a way with animals, I guess".
I smiled and shook my head "don't down play your talents Sumia, being able to connect with animals like this, is a very useful gift".
Chrom nodded "I should say so".
Sumia blushed again but nodded, she really needs a little bit of a confidence boost, hopefully this help, Sumia then sighed and smiled at everyone "you all go ahead, I'll dress her wounds and catch up soon as we're able".
Chrom shook his head "we can make time to wait for you".
Sumia smiled at Chrom, a very happy smile at that "thank you, Captain, but I can manage, every moment is precious when all of Ylisse is in danger".
Chrom looked reluctant, but a few seconds later he sighed and then nodded to Sumia "right, then be safe Sumia".
Sumia brightly smiled and nodded "as you command, sir!".
Well, might as well leave her some support, just in case "Ribombee".
The Fairy and Bug Type Pokémon flew from Sully's head and then stopped right in front of me, I gave her a smiled and a headpat wtth my finger "can you stay with Sumia and keep an eye out for her?".
Ribombee nodded and then flew towards Sumia and landed right on top of her head, she took a seat there and then relaxed, Sumia giggled and then nodded at me "thank you Rean".
"Your welcome, can't leave you here by yourself, with Risen running around and what not".
Chrom clapped my shoulder in thanks as well and with that done, we all left Sumia and Ribombee behind as we continued our way towards Regna Ferox.
As we got closer to Regna Ferox, the temperature began to drop quite a bit, Tione, Tiona, the Pokémon and I were okay with it, but the lower temperature began to take its toll on everyone else.
Deciding that a rest was necessary, everyone made a small camp and decided to rest for a few hours, to both recover from the march and warm up a bit, I even made some hot chocolate for everyone too.
Which everyone seemed to really like, Robin and I were seated together as we talked a bit more about the prior battle and the big number of Risen that appeared.
But Lissa suddenly appeared out of nowhere and yelled "Robin! Rean! where's aaare yooou?".
Robin jumped a bit in surprise, though I just smiled since I had sense Lissa walking over to us, Robin grabbed his chest and sighed "Lissa... you almost gave me a heart attack!".
Lissa laughed a bit "well, it's your fault for being so distracted~ look, Rean doesn't seemed surprised at all!".
Robin turned to stared at me and then gave me a deadpan "you knew she was coming didn't you?".
I smiled and nodded, i didn't find any reason to denied other wise "yeah, though I didn't know she was going to come here yelling and stuff".
Robin sighed, while Lissa laughed at him "I saw you jump on your seat, that was awesome!".
Robin sighed " I was just very focused on my conversation...".
Lissa giggled and shook her head in amusement "okay, okay I'm sorry, I didn't think I would catch you off guard like that".
Robin just sighed and nodded "it's fine, it was my fault for not paying attention, but anyways, what do you need Lissa?".
Lissa sat between us, which made us have to scoot over to give her some pace, Robin looked a bit tired but didn't say anything, I on the other hand, was used to antics like these.
Lissa didn't care though and cheerful said "I'm a little bored so I wanted to speak with you guys a bit, I know Robin doesn't remember anything yet, but what about you Rean, what about your parents? do you have any siblings?".
Robin seemed curious as well and turned his head to give me his full attention, Lissa just smiled and waited for me to answer her question, I hummed a bit but in the end, I didn't think of any reason not to say anything "well, my dad and mom are hard working guys, they own their own company and are quite famous at home.
Though they're semi retired now and stayed at home most of the time, as a Hayashi, my father is a master swordman and his well know by powerful individuals through the world and rven by politicians, though I didn't know about this until recently.
Mom is a very powerful mage, one who comes from Royal blood, again, I didn't know that either until recently as well".
Lissa gasped and Robin gaped at me, the princess of Ylisstol then excitedly clapped her hands "your royalty too! Rean! that's amazing!".
Robin looked down and sighed in defeat "what is it with me making friends with royalty and not being told until way later!".
I chuckled and shrugged at Robin "well, I can't speak about Lissa and Chrom, but for me? well, even though I'm th Heir of the Pendragon Family and future King of England, I don't much care much about it, it's just a title to me.
I didn't even know I was a member of the Royal Family until later in my life, so, nothing really changed for me, so don't worry Robin, just treat me as usual".
Robin smiled and gave me a nod, Lissa also smiled and then said "I wonder how mom and dad would have reacted to you Rean?... I would have loved to see their expression when meeting a Pokémon".
Both Robin and I frowned, we both knew that Lissa didn't get to meet her parents, she was really young when they died, only Chrom and Emmeryn had memories of them.
Our worry must have shown on our faces, because Lissa smiled and then said "don't worry about it guys, I'm just happy to have to get to know you guys, the twins and Pokémon".
Robin and I nodded, Lissa then sheepishly laughed "aaanyways! like I said, I was bored so I tried drawing something, buuut I accidentally drew on one of your strategies book thingies Robin... and then drop my mug of hot chocolate all over it too".
Lissa took out the book and goddamn, it's was utterly ruined, it had ink and hot chocolate all over it, in fact, the pages were smudge by now, poor Robin just stared in disbelief at the horrible fate that befell one of his books and well, Lissa double tapped that book woth no remorse, I too would have been speechless.
Lissa just nervously smiled "err, I really didn't mean to! it was just accident, a very unfortunate one...".
Robin stared at his book in silence "... but this was a rare text... I had just started to..." Robin let out a manly tear and choked up a bit but was still able to shakily smile "its... okay... I'll just try to find and buy it again...someday...".
Lissa smiled and sighed in relief "phew, thank goodness! I was really worried".
Lissa stood up and the quickly skipped away while humming a tune, well, what a devious little princess, first she distracted Robin with conversation and then hit him with this out of nowhere.
Took the air right out of Robin's sails, poor guy, he was staring at his ruined book like if it was a murdered relative, which to him, I might as well had been.
"Robin... want me to fix your book?".
Robin just silently nodded "please...".
After fixing Robin's utterly destroyed book, I decided to spent some time with the rest of the Shepherds, who, were enjoying some resting time or eating something after the big march we have been doing for hours.
The air might be getting colder and what not, but that didn't stop anyone from enjoying themselves while laughing and joking around, but eventually, Chrom called out to everyone to start marching again.
As we got even closer to Regna Ferox, snow began to fall and eventually, a snowstorm began to hit everyone, the Pokémon, the twins and I were fine, but everyone was struggling a bit.
Not only with the dropping temperature, but also because of the snow piling up, eventually, Lissa drop face first into the snow making everyone stop and turned to look at her.
Lissa just stayed on the ground with her face on the snow in silence, until she began to growl in frustration and a few moments later she got her face off the snow and yelled "brrr! it's cold! and it's freezing! and what's with all this snow!".
Everyone laughed a little at poor Lissa, even I did, cause not going to lie, that was funny, Tione smiled and picked Lissa up by her armpits and held her up in the air.
Lissa was just hanging there with a tired deadpan in her face, feeling a bit bad for her, I then decided to offer my help to everyone "would you guys like me to use some magic to protect you from the cold and the snow?".
Everyone 'except the twins and Pokemon' turned their heads towards me so fast I got a bit concerned that they might have hurt their necks, Lissa frowned and the pointed at me "are you telling me that you could have done this at anytime and you didn't until now!? why?!".
I tilted my head towards Lissa and gave her a small smirk "you didn't ask?".
Lissa just stared at me in disbelief, until she began to swing her arms and legs at me, but because Tione was holding her up, there was no way she could reach me.
Chrom just sighed and shook his head in amusement "right... if you don't mind Rean, can you give us a hand here?".
"Sure!" with that said I snapped my fingers and raised a ward around each and every member of the Shepherds.
The ward will keep them warm and will melt the snow beneath them fast enough for them to be able to move around freely.
The Shepherds let out a collective sigh in relief, and then brightly smiled, Robin, now that he could see better with the wards round him, finally noticed something a bit ahead of the group "oh? is this a fortress?".
Everyone turned around to see and indeed, there was a big fortress not that far from us, Chrom smiled and then answered Robin's question "yes, this is Longfort, it's stretches along the border of Ylisse and Regna Ferox".
Frederick nodded and then continued on "the Khans that rule Ferox have grown quite wary of foreigners, still, don't mistake a lack of hospitality for open hostility.
This simply calls for a bit of diplomacy".
Tiona giggled "how much you want to bet, that were going to have to fight our way in?".
Tione let Lissa down and nodded "that's a fools bet".
Lissa tilted her head and turned to face the twins to ask a question "why? wouldn't they be open to speak?".
Tione shrugged and then began to explain "well, those of Regna Ferox are warriors, they sound like Amazon and we don't talk, we let our fist and weapons do the talking".
Chrom sighed and rubbed the back of the head "well, we should still try, though negotiations are not my strong suit, but I'll do my best.
Remember, everyone, you actions here reflect back upon Ylisse".
Everyone nodded, and then continued the march towards Longfort fortress.
As soon as all of us got close to Longfort, we immediately noticed activity in the fortress, Frederick frowned and then approached Chrom "trouble in the wind, milord, the Feroxi guards are mobilizing".
Chrom nodded "I seen that, the question is why?".
Frederick shook his head "who can say, but they look ready to let fly at a moments notice, we'd best prepare for combat, just to be safe.
Perhaps we out to pool our supplies and then make plans for a counter attack just in case we're attacked... we might as well ask Robin's insight in all of this as well".
Chrom nodded and turned to Robin "indeed, he is our Tactician after all, so Robin? what do you suggest?".
Robin smiled and then signaled me to step forward, which I quickly did so and Robin began to explain the plan "well, Tione did say to expect a fight and luckily for us, I've been speaking to Rean since our meeting at the Shepherds Camp".
Chrom and Frederick widen their eyes I surprised, Robin and I had been speaking since that day and planing things, especially because we also knew we were marching to Regna Ferox the next day.
I didn't have a lot of time but I was able to make some simple stuff for everyone, specially, magical medicine.
Robin smiled and then went on "Rean made some simple weapons and items for everyone, nothing to impressive but these weapons are hundred of times better than what we currently have".
With that said, I took out a few axes, swords, lances and a few other things, from my inventory, I made them out of Steel which there's an abundance of in this world, but the Enchantments are what really makes them special, or at least, to the usual standards of this world.
Chrom stared at the weapons and I immediately knew what he was thinking, so I explained "yes, they're simple Steel weapons Chrom.
But that's not what makes them good weapons, for one, they're Enchanted, I didn't have a lot of time to do my usual fare of weapons, but I'll work on that later.
For now, these weapons are unbreakable, self maintaining and forever sharp".
The Shepherds gasped and then stared at the weapons in awe, Robin actually looked a bit smug right now "I know, I was surprised too! and this was done in a single day".
Chrom grabbed a sword and swung it a few times "amazing... I don't think I've ever seen a weapon of this quality in my life".
Frederick nodded as he picked up a lance and swung it as well "incredible... I knew about what you can do from our talk with lady Emmeryn, but this?".
Miriel was inspecting a sword as everyone, except Lissa grabbed a weapon, Miriel frown in curiosity "this feeling... Mana? you somehow engraved magic into the weapon?".
I nodded "it's called Enchanting and it's done during the process of forging, an Enchanter has to be able to forge weapons and manipulate Mana, along with runecraft and even some Alchemy".
Miriel gaped, no doubt at the cheer number of things I can do, but those are just the over simplified way of explaining about all of this, after all, the actual process of enchanting is more complicated than that.
In any case, while Miriel's brain rebooted, I took out to ring and gave her and Lissa one, Miriel just stared at hers in confusion, while Lissa blushed and grinned at me "Rean! it's to early to propose~ though I wouldn't mind!".
I just rolled my eyes at her and flicked her on the forehead, which caused her to yelp "as if I want a troublemaker like you in my life, I have enough with the ones I have already".
Lissa pouted at me, but she seemed to have amusement glowing in her eyes, Tione and Tiona laughed knowing of who I was talking about in the Harem, Serafall and Rory, are teases and like to get in all kinds of trouble after all.
Adding Lissa to their shenanigans was not something I wanted to ever do, instead I just explained what the rings do "these rings have a special Enchantment called All Mighty Defense.
This Enchantment increases Defense and resistance against magical and physical attacks by twenty five percent, not the best I can do, but they should help a lot, especially to those who are Healers and Mages".
Lissa smiled and quickly put on her ring, her Class always made her feel a bit weak and vulnerable, so having a chance to become tougher was something Lissa would alway take at any moment.
Miriel went to gaping at the ring now and I just left her alone with her thoughts, instead I took out a bag and began to hand out Apple Gels, Orange Gels and Life Bottles to everyone.
As I did so, I began to explain "alright guys, the red Gels heal wounds, the Orange Gels are for recovering Mana or stamina and the Life Bottles can bring someone back to life as long as it's been a couple hours from death and as long as the body is intact, always keep some with you and if you need more let me know! I made plenty".
Now everyone was gaping at me, Chrom looked down at the healing items "by the Gods... bring back the dead? but...".
Frederick frowned "the healing items are already priceless, but these Life Bottles? we can't use something so valuable".
I just shrugged "it's fine, I have and can make more easily, just remember, you have to get to the person who is dead before a couple of hours or it will not work, the same is true if the body is too damaged".
Everyone nodded and gave me a determined look, I smiled at my friends and then said "alright everyone, I'm also giving you an expanded hip bag, come grab one and you can keep you equipment and items in there.
The bags are Enchanted to be bigger inside and to protect the items in them, that way nothing will get ruined while you battle".
Everyone nodded and then began to grab a weapon and then get ready for when we arrived at Longfort.
As we got close to the fortress, a woman suddenly called out to us "Halt! who goes there?!".
Chrom immediately responded hoping to stop hostilities "in the name of House Ylisse, I seek audience with the Khans!".
But the woman just frowned and yelled back "not another step, my bold lad! I've Lancers at the ready!".
Frederick seeing that the Feroxi guards are getting more hostile by the second, tried to calm things down "hold, milady! we are not your enemy!.
Exalt Emmeryn herself sent us to discuss matters of mutual interest".
But the woman shook her head and frowned at Frederick "my only interest is keeping you out of Regna Ferox, brigand!".
When the woman called us brigand, all of the Shepherds recoiled as if struck, not a surprise they reacted that way though, after all, they had spent a very serious amount of time fighting brigands and thieves.
Being called one is a major insult for them, Frederick glared at the woman and said "brigand?... now see here-".
The woman cut him off though and pointed a finger at him "you think you are the first 'Ylisseans' to try and cross our border?.
I have the authority to fell such impostors were they stand!".
Frederick looked even more insulted "how dare you! you are in the presence of prince Chrom! the Exalt's own blood!".
The woman just mockingly laughed "ha! yes indeed! and I'm the queen of Valm!
You do realize impersonating royalty is a capital offense, yes? mmm... then perhaps we should settle this the Feroxi way.
You claim to be the prince of Ylisse? then prove it on the battlefield!".
Tiona just grinned "told you guys so! but I can't say I dislike this way of doing things though!".
Chrom sighed and rubbed his eyes in frustration "... Emmeryn won't like this at all... please, good lady! if you'd just listen!-".
But the woman just yelled back, cutting Chrom off mid sentence "I've heard enough! attack!".
The guards posted above the gate to Longfort immediately threw their spears at Chrom who widen his eyes in surprise, but a pink colored wind blew the spears away from him, while something fast grabbed chrom and took off into the sky.
Everyone was surprised at all of this and weren't able to react in time, well, except the twins, the Pokémon and I, after all, saw the Fairy Wind attack that protected Chrom and who had picked him up.
I smiled and looked up into the sky to see a Pegasus flying hifh above us, the one riding the Pegasus was the one and only Sumia and on her head rode Ribombee with a excited smiled on her face.
Chrom shook himself out of his surprise and looked over to Sumia who was leading the Pegasus with a small smile on her face "Sumia?...".
Sumia looked back and nodded to Chrom "better hold on tight, Captain, could get bumpy".
Is Chrom blushing? holy shit he is! and while hugging Sumia from behind too, who would have thought? looks like Sumia already got Chrom's attention, good for her.
Chrom shakily nodded and held on tight to Sumia, the girl blushed but kept a serious look on her face, though she suddenly smiled and laughed "don't worry, you'll be fine".
The soft and caring way she spoke to Chrom made him blushed a bit more and feel awed, he had never seen Sumia this confident before and he quite like this side of her.
But he didn't have time to be distracted, not when the Feroxi guards began to throw spears at them hoping to hit the Pegasus, luckily for Chrom and Sumia, Ribombee was there and used Fairy Wind to protect the Pegasus, Sumia and Chrom.
Not wanting to leave everything to the Fairy and Bug Type Pokémon, Chrom pulled Falchion out and yelled "Sumia!".
Sumia nodded and immediately guided the Pegasus into battle "right!".
Meanwhile I nodded to myself and decided to begin our counter attack "alright everyone I'm opening the fortress's gate ! follow Robin's lead after that!".
Everyone nodded, and I called out to one of my Pokémon "Snorlax! Rollout on that gate!".
Snorlax growled and hopped into the air as he engulfed his body with Rock Type energy and became a ball of stone as he rolled at high speed into the gate
Snorlax crashed into the gate and it immediately gave away, allowing Snorlax to burst into Longfort, as he reached inside I immediately issued my next attack "Snorlax! Earthquake!".
Snorlax stopped rolling and then jumped into the air, with a roar, he then slammed into the ground butt first while unleashing the Ground Type move.
The effect was immediate, the ground shook, the ground cracked, the walls of the fortress crumble and everyone inside Longfort screamed as they lost their balance from the ground shaking.
Chrom and Sumia took advantage of this and flew towards the Feroxi guards on top of the gates, Chrom immediately jumped down Sumia's Pegasus as soon she landed on the ground, when it stopped shaking and attacked the guards.
Though he held back and knocked them out with ease, he then looked down at everyone and yelled "knock them out! do not go for the kill! we can't afford to kill those who we're trying to convince to join our side!".
Everyone nodded, meanwhile I turned towards my Pokémon "you heard him! knocked them out and keep an eye on everyone!."
Nidoking, Flygon, Pidgeot and Ampharos nodded and immediately jumped into the fortress, while the Shepherds and I followed them inside, time for another battle, this time, at least, it wasn't to the death.
and done!.
Phew! a lot happened in this chapter, we git a new Shepherd joining in, Rean getting to know everyone a bit better and then him as well, plus the Shepherds are growing used to Rean and the twins.
Now the group have some more Pokémon fighting along side of them, they also got new weapons and the vulnerable member of the Shepherds got even more protection.
They also got Gels! and more importantly! Life Bottle, which caused a bit of commotion, good thing everyone was distracted by the upcoming battle to really ask questions about lol.
Sumia had her moment to sine as well! and is a flying unit now thank to her new Pegasus! now the battle of Longfort is going to beginning! well in the next chapter that is lol.
