It's time for another chapter of Rean having some fun in Fire Emblem Awakening and with the Shepherds, today we have some action, wholesome moments and a new character is also introduced, so enjoy!.

Chapter 45.
Sumia landed her Pegasus right besides Chrom and smiled "oh, Captain, I'm so relieved I made it on time!".
Chrom gave Sumia a smile and a nod in agreement, that was a really close one "that goes double for me, Sumia!".
Chrom looked over the Pegasus and grinned happy to see it "and this is the same ornery Pegasus we met on the road?".
Sumia laughed a little at the way Chrom called the Pegasus, it seems like Chrom was holding a bit of a grudge from when the Pegasus tried to hit him "oh, she's a sweetheart isn't she?... once you get to know her that is...".
Chrom sweatdropped and stared at the Pegasus, who was actually glaring at him, looks like she understood she was called ornery, but he soon turned away and looked over to Sumia "well, many thanks to you both".
Chrom's words made both Sumia and the Pegasus blush, one because of her crush was thanking her and the other because she wasn't expecting it.
Suddenly, Tione jumped on top of the gate to join them, on her arms was Lissa who was now grinning at both her bother and Sumia, both had heard their conversation and Lissa found it adorable, the Primcess of Ylisstol then turned her head to look at the Pegasus "I think the Pegasus is blushing!".
Tione giggled when she looked over the Pegasus to see, that she was indeed blushing, she then walked over to Sumia and handed her a Lance "here, Rean sents you this and Robin told us to stick with you, our job is to clear the walls, before the Feroxi guards recover".
Both Chrom and Sumia nodded, the group of four then immediately began to run around on top of the wall of the fortress, while also knocking out any guards they can find.
Especially the one with Bows and Throwing Spears, these units would be able to take pot shots at the rest of the Shepherds, and they didn't want that to happen, so Chrom and the other will have to take them out quick.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Shepherds rushed inside Longfort and began to go into battle, but then the doors inside the fortress slammed open and more Feroxi guards came rushing towards them.
Robin frowned and blasted a few guards with his Thunder spell, he of course made sure to control the output of his Mana so he wouldn't accidentally kill any of them, he then saw more Feroxi guards heading up towards the walls "Chrom! watch out! they're heading your way!".
Chrom who was knocking out an archer, clicked his tongue in annoyance when he heard Robin's warning "damn, alright, then were doing this the Feroxi way!".
As I was punching and kicking enemies away, I so noticed more Feroxi guards heading towards Chrom, Sumia, Lissa and Tione who were on the walls surrounding the fortress, I knew Tione woud be fine, but the rest might find it difficult with the sheer number of enemies cining their way.
So I decided to give them some back up "Pidgeot, Ampharos! help Chrom and the others on the walls! Ribombee! protect Sumia from arrows!".
Both Pidgeot and Ampharos, immediately went towards the wall, Pidgeot flew up above the wall and began to attack soldiers with Whirlwind, the attack was not powerful enough to kill them, but it was enough to send the Feroxi guards flying and crashing on the ground where they layed unconscious from the impact.
Ampharos jumped onto the wall in a single jump and immediately lashed out with a Thunderwave, the Feroxi guards hit by the weak Electric attack screamed and then fell to the ground unconscious from the shock or paralyzed and unable to move.
Meanwhile, Ribombee would use Fairy Wind to cover Sumia and block any arrows coming her way from even touching her, Sumia smiled and rode her Pegasus without any fear of being shot down.
Robin smiled seeing that I had Chrom and the others on wall covered and decided to focus on the ground units, he frowned as he saw a considerable amount of troops "that's a lot of enemies...".
I rushed to his side and punched a guard that wanted to slash at him, Robin smiled and didn't acknowledge the attack, he must have known I was keeping an eye on everything, though he did asked me a question "what do you think about all of this Rean?".
I looked around saw as more Feroxi guards come out of the fortress "this is too many soldiers for just one fortress... no something happened here that made them take these kind of precautions".
Robin nodded and suddenly blocked a throwing axe coming his way with his sword, there was a loud clang but his sword made by me, cut the axe in half, I quickly rushed forward and punched the attacker on the gut.
He folded over my fist and then fell to the ground unconscious, Robin rushed forward and then fired a Fireball to block one coming my way, while doing so he continued our conversation "yes... according to what that woman said, many others came here while impersonating Ylissean troops.
Perhaps they caused trouble and that's why the Feroxi guards are on high alert right now".
I frowned and thought over what I knew about the game, nothing like this was mentioned but if I had to pick a culprit, it would have to be "Plegia?".
Robin nodded in agreement, more than likely he had already had the same suspicion as me "yes, they must be trying to have Regna Ferox think that Ylisstol is asking for war or at least alienate them from the Exalt and Ylisse".
Damn, that's sound like something that mad king in Plegia would do, it also explains a lot, I looked around and then noticed a set or Armor fighting along side us "who the hell is that?".
Robin turned his head towards where I was looking and raised an eyebrow at the set of armor "... is that Kellam?"
"Holy shit it is him!".
[What the... the Mini Map isn't even show him!].
"Whoa where did he even come from!?".
(Okay... that's a bit disturbing, I didn't even sense him).
I didn't either, in fact I kinda forgot about him until now, is it a skill? and ability? perhaps he's not even human? Robin seemed confused as well, but our attention was taken away from Kellam, when Snorlax suddenly used Yawn.
The loud and powerful yawn, hit a few Feroxi guards, though they looked confused for a bit, they must have felt the attack hit them, but didn't understand the effect, which was their undoing, since they wasted time being confused and just stood there.
Only to fall asleep soon after, Robin actually chuckled at that "is still hard to believe everything that the Pokémon can do, honestly? they're so versatile that it isn't even funny".
I nodded and grinned "that's nothing, wait until you see the Legendary Pokémon really fight, now that's going to be mind blowing!".
Robin smiled and looked a bit excited, but then we suddenly took off running, as I rushed forward towards a group of enemies, Tiona suddenly appeared by my side and gave me a grin.
I returned her grin with one of mine and then we both vanished in a blur, all everyone was able to see is two blurs rushing among enemies units and then sending them flying everywhere and unconscious.
The Shepherds got motivated at seeing the Feroxi guards get taken down fast, so they all cheered and then rushed forward to fight and knock out a bunch of enemies.
Vaike was using his fists, while Miriel covered him with Fire spells, Stahl, Sully and Frederick were running around the battlefield on their horses and fighting enemies with the butts of their Lances.
Virion took cover behind Nidoking and shot at enemies on their knees to take them out of the fight, while Nidoking himself was bashing skulls right and left.
Flygon suddenly flew besides Robin and used a Screech Attack on a few Feroxi guards rushing towards Robin, the Tactician smiled and then used his Thunder spell to knock out the deaf and confused victims of Flygon's attack.
Suicune had jumped on top of the gate and kept a close eye on the battle, ready to give her aid if needed, though she knew that we had this handle.
Suddenly the woman that had been talking to us walked into the battlefield, she was wearing a bulky armor set and a Lance, Robin frown at her and then yelled "Rean! take her down! none of us have the means to knock her out with that armor on and the weapons you gave us might actually kill her!".
I nodded and then rushed forwards towards the woman, a wall of Feroxi guards stood in my way, but I grinned and them used Snarl, the Dark Type Attack might be on the weak side but it's a great Attack to use on big group of enemies.
When I used Snarl I engulfed my vocal cords with Dark Type energy and just snalred at my targets, which unleashes a dark sound wave from my throat towards the wall of Feroxi guards.
The dark soundwave flew at a high speed and crashed againts the wall of Feroxi guards in front of me sending them flying everywhere and out of my mind, I made sure to hold back to only knocked them out, but I couldn't help but wince when some of the crashed againt a wall or we're sent rolling on the ground with a loud crash.
That's definitely going to leave a mark, hopefully they won't hold a grudge or something, that was my last thought before I focused on the woman I was about to face.
Meanwhile, Chrom Sumia, Tione, Ribombee and Lissa joined the battle on the Fortress after clearing most of the walls around the fortress, meanwhile Ampharos and Pidgeot finished any left over enemy units on the wall.
However Chrom suddenly stopped and looked around in confusion when he felt something odd, which made his group also stop "why do I feel like I'm being watched?...".
Suddenly a voiced called out to Chrom from behind the group "um, sir?... sir! right here, sir!".
Chrom and the girls panicked, even Tione couldn't sense where that voice had come from and was caught by surprise as wel, Chrom suddenly looked around and yelled in a panic "who's there! show yourself!".
Suddenly Kellam raised a hand and said "I'm standing right in plain sight, sir... right he-".
Chrom jumped in surprise after he finally noticed Kellam "Bwaaah!".
Both Sumia, and Lissa screamed and grabbed hold of Tione, which was very awkward for her, since Sumia who was riding her Pegasus, had jumped down and was now hugging Tione's neck tightly, while Lissa hugged her by the waist just as tight.
Ribombee and the Pegasus actually hid behind Tione since tgey were also surprised, this actually saved Kellam's life right now, because, Tione was also startled and she would have punched or kicked his head off out reflex alone.
It's only because she was being held tight by the frightened Sumia and Lissa, that she wasn't able to lash out in fear of hurting them.
Chrom held his chest and tried to calm his heart down "oh! i-is that you Kellam? when did you arrived?".
Kellam sweatdropped and seemed a bit down "... the same time as you, I've been with you all along, I've been fighting with all of you from the very beginning... er, I am still a Shepard right? it's quite the honor, after all, I'd hate to lose it, sometimes I-".
Everyone sweatdropped, yes, even the Pegasus and Ribombee, because this guy was with them the whole time and they never noticed until now, Chrom cut Kellam mid sentence though and said "of course Kellam, forgive me, you're just so... quiet, I completely-".
Kellam nervously laughed "quite alright sir, quite alright, I've been told I'm easy to miss".
Chrom sweatdropped and sighed, because what Kellam just said was the understatement of the century "at least the Feroxi didn't find you".
Kellam suddenly looked depressed "I've been calling out to you and waving me arms for several minutes... I don't think they've so much as glanced this way, though Rean and Robin did see me when I was helping in the battle a second ago".
Chrom looked intrigued but couldn't help but comment on Kellam's demeanor "you almost sound disappointed".
Kellam did indeed looked a bit disappointed, but anyone would, when they're being completely forgotten and missed like he was "well, I just... I'm glad you finally saw me! just try to keep an eye out from now on".
Chrom nervously chuckled but nodded to Kellam, and after calming Sumia, Lissa, the Pegasus and Ribombee and forced them to let go of Tione, all five rejoined the battle.
I reached the Boss unit of Longfort and she immediately spun her Lance above her head and then pointed it at me "ny name is Raimi, all of you will pay with your lives for impersonating royalty!".
I scoffed at the woman and shook my head "your going to to look very ridiculous once you see how wrong you are".
I got into my battle hand to hand combat stance, but Raimi frowned as she saw me get ready to fight "are you making fun of me? fighting me with just your firsts?! how arrogant! I have a full armor on! you will never defeat me like this!".
I just shrugged at her, I honestly couldn't care less what she thought, if I were to use Excalibur, she would have cut that armor like if it was made out of paper.
She's really lucky that Chrom asked everyone to just knock them out, otherwise, so many Feroxi warriors would have died, but anyways, instead of responding to her words I just rushed forward.
Raimi frowned and didn't do anything as I reached her and lash out with a punch to her chest, that was a big mistake on her part, the moment my fist collided against her armor, it immediately bent inwards and then shattered.
Raimi could only gasp in pain as my fist cracked againt her chest and then sent her flying back against the wall behind her, the impact was loud and she gasped in pain as soon as he back collided with the wall, she soon dropped to the ground unconscious and bleeding from her mouth from the internal damage I just gave her.
I think I might have broken her ribs or something, i felt them cracked with my fist the moment I hit her, so I quickly casted a First Aid spell on her to made sure she wouldn't die, with that done, I turned around to see the few Feroxi guards that were still conscious, drop their weapons and surrender.
Having seen their leader being taken down, took their will to fight right out of them and so the Shepherds claimed one more victory.
After the battle, the Shepherds woke the unconscious Feroxi guards under one of my wards, one that will put them to sleep if they even think about attacking us again, but luckily for them, they didn't seem to want to start a fight again.
Instead Raimi walked up to Chrom, though she did so without her armor, since I had destroyed with my attack, she turned to look at me and I just gave her a small smirk "I beat you with a single punch".
Raimi winced at the reminder of her defeat, seems like it still stings her, especially because she was talking so much shit before, but in the end she just sighed and nodded "right... sorry for my harsh and arrogant words...".
I nodded at her and then gave her a smile "you know what? no problem, I least you learned something of it right?".
Raimi nodded "yes, do not judge a book by it's cover".
Raimi then turned her head towards Chrom and then apologized to him as well "a thousand apologies, I truly took you for brigand impostors.
But no frauds could have waged a battle as you have! I will send word of your arrival to the capital and escort you there personally".
Tiona giggled and then said "nothing like an ass kicking to clear the air huh?".
Tione nodded in agreement and even the Pokémon did so as well, Lissa just sighed "I rather not have to hand out ass kickings, thank you very much...".
Chrom ignored the conversation happening behind him and nodded to Raimi "that would be most appreciated, thank you".
Raimi nodded and quickly left to get things ready and lead the Shepherds to Regna Ferox, meanwhile Robin suddenly sighed and then chuckled "amazing, her whole demeanor changed".
Frederick nodded "in Ferox strength speaks louder than words, I should have known better than to overestimate the value of diplomacy here...".
Lissa smiled and then said "well, like Tione and Tiona said, all they needed is having their butt kicked, but can we get moving already?".
Chrom nodded "yeah, we better get going, we only have a few hours left of daylight and even though we're being protected by Rean's wards, none of us wants to spend the night out here".
All the Shepherds agreed with Chrom's words, even I and the twins didn't much feel like camping out in the snow, much less the Pokémon, so we all them began to get going, while following Raimi.
On the way to Regna Ferox, Chrom and I spoke about the battle in Longfort when we all decided to take a break during our March, he was quite impressed with how the Pokémon handled themselves and was asking a bit more about their abilities.
Suddenly, Sumia walked over to Chrom, she smiled when she saw Chrom and I sitting together and talking, she then called out to us "oh! there you both are!".
Both me and Chrom looked over to Sumia, I waved my hand at her and she waved back, while Chrom smiled and greeted her "hello, Sumia, did you need something?".
Sumia shook her head "um no, Robin was just looking for you both".
I tilted his head "huh? he is? wonder why?".
Chrom hummed and rubbed his chin, as he thought over why Robin would be looking for them "oh right! the strategy meeting, that Robin does love to... Aaaargh!".
Both Sumia and I jumped in surprise when Chrom suddenly yelled out in pain and tripped on a pebble the moment he got up and started to walk, Sumia was immediately on him with concern on her face as Chrom layed in the ground groaning in pain "Chrom! are you all right!?"
Chrom huffed and nodded as he lifted himself off the ground "y-yes, I'm fine, I just tripped on a pebble, Gods, how embarrassing...".
I looked to the side and then sweatdropped as I saw Tione and Tiona hiding up on a snow covered tree with a bunch of pebles on their hands *did they tripped Chrom? but why?*.
I turned my head back towards Sumia and Chrom, only to see Sumia help Chrom up "it's because you're so tired, you've been working too hard lately plus we've been in a few constant battles as well".
Chrom smiled at Sumia "I'm fine, Sumia, and besides, we're all tired, such endless fighting wears on everyone".
Sumia just sighed "Chrom, you've no need to don a brave face for my sake, you work hard in both battle and outside of it, it's only natural that you feel tired".
Chrom sighed and then nodded to Sumia, though he now had a small smile on his face, a happy one at that "heh, you're kind to say so, but in truth, everyone looks to their Commander for inspiration and strength.
An army is only as stalwart as its leader, the instant I show weakness, we're through".
I mean, he's not wrong, but he's also forgetting something very important, but I'll wait a bit to let him know, Sumia looked at Chrom with worry evident on her face "it must be so hard on you...".
Chrom just continued to smile and then said "I'll... be fine, and please, don't speak of this conversation to anyone, all right?".
Sumia seemed a bit insulted "n-no! of course not! I would never--".
But Chrom just lightly laughed cutting Sumia off mid rant "haha! at ease, Sumia, and stop worrying so much! it'll take more than a few battles to bring this soldier to his knees".
Sumia blushed a bit, but smiled and nodded "I know! your the greatest warrior that I've ever... huh, I just realized something".
Chrom looked intrigued and seemed interested as well "what is it?".
Sumia excitedly clapped her hands and then said "you trusted me with a secret! it's our first secret together!"
I raised an eyebrow at Sumia because she just ignore the fact that I'm here as well *hey... I'm here too...* though I didn't dare to voice my thoughts out loud, not when Sumia and Chrom seemed to be having a moment right now.
[Oh! so that's what Tione and Tiona are doing! they're playing cupid with Sumia and Chrom!].
Oh, Astraea is right, though I will have to tell them not injure Chrom next time, caused his head hit the ground with his forehead pretty hard when he fell.
Chrom looked a bit perplexed about what had Sumia feeling so excited though "um... yes, I suppose it is".
Sumia however, didn't seemed to noticed Chrom's incredulity, in her happiness and excitement "don't worry! my lips are sealed tighter than a bear trap!... so long as you promise to take a nap before the strategy meeting!".
Now Chrom looked surprised, even I was surprised as well, Sumia suddenly got a bit brave and demanded something of him, it caught us off guard since we never expected that from here, Chrom however was the only one who said anything about this though "...what?".
Well, its not something impressive, but that simple question will have to do, Sumia nodded and happily replied "I'll just tell Robin that you've been delayed!".
Chrom raised an eyebrow at Sumia "and if I don't agree to your terms?".
"Chrom... noooo..." I couldn't help but groan at Chrom's challenge, never challenge a woman like that bro, not when she has dirt on you.
Sumia suddenly smiled like cat and said "then I'll tell everyone the mighty Chrom was bested by a mere pebble!".
Chrom sweatdropped at that, while it just sighed and turned to look at Tione and Tiona *and they're fist pumping in victory...*.
Chrom stared at Sumia in disbelief and then said "that sounds like blackmail... still, I suppose a short nap couldn't hurt".
Sumia looked mighty proud of herself right now "ooh, it's so thrilling to be able to help out like this! anyways, I'll leave you to it, sweet dreams!".
Chrom watched as Sumia turned around and took off running, he the sighed and shook his head while he chuckled "that girl has a strange knack for getting her way...".
I nodded "yeah, I've never seen someone kindly blackmail someone to take a nap... oh and Chrom?".
Chrom turned his head towards me "yeah?".
I gave him a grin and then said "you don't have to carry the burden of leadership on your own, we'll help you, so don't think you have to carry everything on your shoulders, trust us, okay?".
Chrom grinned and then nodded "your right... thanks Rean, I'll make sure to keep that in mind".
With that said, l left to leave Chrom to have his nap, lest everyone finds out he was defeated by a pebble, well, a pebble thrown by one of the twins, but a pebble nonetheless.
While I left Chrom to take a short nap before we went to talk with Robin, I decided to walk around and see if anything interesting was going on, when I suddenly caught sight of Miriel walking towards Virion and call out to him.
Virion turned around to face Miriel "ah, my sweet... er, Miriel, is it? how can I be of service?".
I deadpanned at Virion, the guy didn't even remember Miriel's name and he still flirted, Miriel however, ignored that small detail and just said what she wanted to say "I wonder if I might ask you a favor?".
Virion excitedly smiled and nodded to Miriel "for you, milady, I would gladly walk to the ends of the Earth, over hot coals and--".
Miriel however, cut off Virion, before he really got going with his nonsense "I am studying prognostication, and I need you to futher explain the art".
*Isn't prognostication the art of knowing the future? like prophecies as such?*.
[Yes, though... Virion hasn't said anything remotely close to a Prophecy].
*It's weird, Virion might be flamboyant and what not, but I don't think he can predict the future, though I think we heard hes been doing a bit fortune telling among the Shepherds*.
(He's not a Seer, that's for sure).
Virion looked perplexed at Miriel's request "you mean fortune telling? well, color me surprise! I assume someone of your intellectual bent had little time for superstitions".
Miriel pushed her glassed up her nose and then said "within the camp, your fortune reading has a reputation for being especially accurate, even if they were more shibboleth, such oracles can inspire hope in people.
This is a legitimate, and possible area of study".
So, Virion has been doing some fortune telling in the camp like Excalibur said, how weird, I hadn't noticed, then yet again, I'm usually with Chrom and Robin organizing everything, so maybe I just missed him doing so.
Virion smiled and then said to Miriel "hmm, well, if you say so, but I must tell you this... there's a lot more to fortune telling than staring at entrails or poking at tea leaves!
Please, my dear, I urge you reconsider this request, the path is long and difficult, and I do not wish to subject you to such an ordeal".
Miriel however, gave Virion a very intense look "you claimed you would stride across hot coals for me, was that a falsehood?".
And Miriel has Virion by the balls now, he even flinched as if that was really the case too "not a falsehood, no! more of a... er... rhetorical flourish!".
Miriel tilted her head and stared at Virion "so you are refusing my request?... how fascinating, I thought my feminity sufficient to ensnare your cooperation, well then, if you will not proffer aid, would you at least tell me my fortune?".
Godamn, Miriel has Virion pegged as hell.
[Wow!].
*That was both bold and amazing*.
(Hahaha, that was funny though, Virion looks like he got slapped!).
And indeed, he really does, I sort of feel bad for him now, in the end Virion sighed and nodded to Miriel "now that! milady, is more easily done!.
To be honest, I'm more than a little flattered that you're interested.
Miriel smiled and then said "excellent!".
Virion quickly got to work on reading Miriel's forntue "now, let's see what tomorrow has in store for you...".
Virion then grabbed Miriel's hand and began to try to read it, thought Miriel sighed "must you hold my palm while you work? I would very much like to take notes".
But Virion ignored her and began to lowly speak "hmmm...hmm, aaah... yes, yes, I see water! buckets of it! you are... drenched... be careful... something valuable... damaged by water...".
Miriel frowned at her fortune "water is vague, you must be more specific, do you refer to a nearby lake or stream? perhaps rain? condensation, a fogbank? though in gaseous form, fog is actually--".
You know what, I'm not even surprised that Miriel is over analyzing something like fortune telling like this, she does seem like the kind of person to do so for about everything in life.
Virion sweatdropped and then said "milady, please! a fortune is not a textbook! I saw water! that is all, where it came from, I cannot say".
Miriel however frowned, clearly not happy by what Virion just told her "such answers would be laughed out of any credible journal.
But no matter, we shall see tomorrow if your augury bears fruit".
Miriel then quickly turned around and left, Virion just sighed and looked tired, but he still mustered a grin and said "so we will, milady, so we will...".
Virion left after that I I just shook my head "what a weird conversation I stumbled on... but now I'm curious if Miriel's fortune will come true".
A little bit after Miriel's and Virion's odd conversation, we continued our March, however, along the way, someone came running towards us, a young man wearing a pot for a helmet and holding a very old and simple spear.
The young man began to yell at us the moment he saw us "halp! you gots to help us! I'm beggin' you, milords!".
Chrom, Robin and I stopped walking and turned to face the young man, that's when I recognized him but before I could think futher on the young man, Chrom spoke up to him "slow down, what happened?".
The young man was about to speak, but another person came running towards us, this was a grown man who grinned at the young man and said "oy! there's the wee piglet!".
Chrom immediately understood the situation with a single look of the grown man "great, bandits".
The bandit growled when he saw us and then loudly said "what's this! a little lordling came to watch over his chattel? haw haw ha--" seems like the bastard finally recognized Chrom and our group "... aw, damn me, Shepherds!".
Oh! Looks like we're famous even this close to Regna Ferox, neat, Chrom grinned and then said "that's right, so, what'll it be? run and live? or fight and die?".
Tiona walked up to us and maliciously grinned "ooh! please pick option two!".
Tione smiled and shook her head at her sister in amusement "calm the bloodlust Tiona, don't waste your time on weaklings".
The bandit took a step back and seemed very scared now "rrrgh!" he growled and then took off running for dear life.
Good choice too, Chrom then turned around to the young man and said to him quickly " lad, what happened here?".
The young man, who was gaping at us now, jumped a bit when Chrom spoke to him, but wasted no time in explaining "y-yes! milord! right away, milord!... er, if you please your graciousness".
Well he tried to too to explain, but he seems rather nervous at the moment, hoping to calm him down, and get the explanation soon, Chrom decided to address the issue "maybe just hold off on the tittles for now, what's your name?".
The young man calmed down a bit and then introduced himself "Donny er, that is Donnel... your majestyful".
I snorted finding the word Donnel just used hilarious, Chrom gave me a dirty look, but I was too busy trying not to laugh at loud, meanwhile Donnel continued on " I live on the village just south of the capital, sir".
Chrom sighed and then shook his head "I guess that'll do, now what happened?".
Donnel nodded and then went in with his explanation "that rotten toothed, pig stinking bandit you just ran off attacked us! and then took here! er, pardon my language, your lordliness.
I'm the only one that got away just now and even then just barely, they rounded up the others to haul'em off to a bandit camp nearby... please sir! you gots to save them folks! my ma's one of them, and... she's all I got in this world! please your royal highness!".
Chrom frowned "more and more bandits, just what is Plegia thinking by sending such evil to Ylisstol and now Regna Ferox?... all right Donny, we'll save your ma, can you lead us to her?".
Donnel sighed in relief and then nodded "aw, thank you, milord! thank you! just follow me, your sirness!".
"snrk!".
Chrom nodded "let's go! and Rean! stop laughing!".
I don't think I can, this sort of stuff has a direct line to my sense of humor for some reason, but either way, we're all more than willing to help Donnel and save his mom and folks.
And done!.
So the Shepherds gave an ass kicking to the Feroxi guards, but hey! they started it! at the very least they didn't get kill, so that's already a victory, right?.
It was a crazy battle, but the Shepherds came out victorious and will be going to Regna Ferox next, though a fewt things will happen before they get there, things like conversations and another small battle.
We also got to meet another new character, Donnel, who happens to be one of the best characters in the game, stat wise and growth wise! though as a character, he's a simple farmboy.
