Ch 15 Helena's Answer
It's the last day of Bond Week, the day when the student groups will finally show their projects to visitors. Decorations were put up near the school entrance, and students' stalls were placed on the side of the school's path to the entrance.
Everyone had a festive mood, both nervousness and excitement were all around. Pokemon from the daycare have been placed in mini pens for passing trainers to choose from.
Everything was ready for the people that'll be coming on this day.
Steven smiles, finishing up some last-minute touches on his and Brawly's shooting range booth. "There we go," He steps back, seeing that everything is in place. "What do you think, Beldum, Lileep? Is this okay with you guys?" He asked his Partners.
The Shiny Beldum nodded, liking the lighting of the booth. "Beldum, Bel!" The Duel-type cheered happily.
"Lileep!" Lileep jumped cheerfully, excited for today.
"Seems we're all set my dude," Brawly popped his head from behind the counter with Makuhita and Machop finishing setting up the moving targets. "The flameproof, waterproof, and pretty much everything proof targets."
The Guts Pokemon punched the air. "Makuhita!" He cheered,
"Machop!" The Fighting-type Pokemon cheered happily at a job well done.
Steven smiles seeing that their booth is already finished. "Great job everyone, we've finished with some time to spare!" the Steel-blue haired boy stated.
The Pokemon cheered happily at their finished work.
Brawly walks beside his friend, looking at their booth. "Looking good, bra." The sky-blue hair trainer smiles at his friend. "So, what do you want to do now?"
Steven thought for a moment before looking up at the second floor of the Trainer School. "You know, we haven't seen everyone yet this week." The aspiring trainer commented.
"You're right, man the last Bond Week we had everyone working together for our project." The young Surfer added, placing his hand on his side. "Are you suggesting we should see what they're up to, Steven?" He asked.
"I mean, we're practically done with our booth," Steven pushed to suggest further. Actually, he wants to see how Helena is doing since this is her first Bond Week event. "And guest wo-"
Brawly chuckled, placing his hands on his friend's shoulders, and pushing him to the entrance of the school. "My dude, if you want to see Helena, you should just ask."
Steven blushed, quickly turning to his sky-blue-haired friend. "I didn't say that!" His cheeks blushing red as a tamato berry. "I didn't even mention her name,"
"Dude, I can tell by your voice that you want to see Helena." Brawly sighs, reading Steven like a good book. His attempts to hide his intention were poor that anyone can see.
"W-Well, dude I didn't say Helena's name. you did, not me, you." Steven said, being pushed into the main lobby.
Brawly looks back at Machop, Makuhita, and Lileep back at the shooting booth. "You dudes watch the booth until we get back," The sky-blue-haired surfer waved at their Pokemon.
They cried out, happy to help their partners. However, Beldum followed the two friends inside the school, having a feeling something might happen when his Partner goes check on Helena,
The two blue-haired boys entered the school, the first floor was filled with many group projects such as a homemade jewelry boutique, a game room, and a mini Pokemon Showcase. They reach the second floor was the same as the first floor.
"Wow, it's hard to believe this was done in a week," Steven commented, not minding that his Beldum is floating next to him.
"Yeah dude, at the beginning everyone was panicking and figuring out what to do for Bond Week." Brawly smiles, looking around the hall filled with smiling trainers and Pokemon. "Now everyone is all prepared for today!" He commented on the busy hall.
Steven looked around, searching for the room that their friends are using for Bond Week. He noticed a sign with a Maid apron with waves circling around it. "I found the room everyone is using," He informed Brawly.
"Um…I can tell." The sky-blue-haired boy points to the flower arrangements and decoration that screams Wallace on the sign.
"Beldum," The Iron Ball Pokemon agrees with the Fighting-type user.
Steven opens one of the two doors that entered the room. "Wallace is sure decorative when it comes to-"
"AH!" Steven turned his head, hearing a girl scream.
The young trainer gasps, his face paled upon seeing a familiar face in a Maid outfit. "H-H-Helena…" Steven was redder than the color of a Slugma's body.
Helena's Maid outfit was on the short and revealing side. The skirt length was on her mid-calf with frills, and her legs were covered by black leggings with black maid shoes. The sleeves were short, and the top wasn't covering her collarbone. Around her neck was a choker that was held by an emerald green bow.
On her head was a frilled bandana that went well with her black hair tied in a messy bun. "S-S-Steven…w-what ar-"
Brawly and Beldum poked their heads from the doorframe, seeing the blushing two. "Ohohoho…" The sky-blue-haired trainer chuckled, seeing the flustered trainers.
"Beldum…" Beldum chuckled, seeing his Partner flustered.
"I-I-I'M SORRY!" Steven rushed out of the classroom, closing the door behind him. He leans on the wall, still flustered to see Helena in an outfit. His hand covered his mouth, embarrassed that he walked into the room like that. 'W-What was I thinking!' He mentally panicked.
Inside the room, Helena leans on the table with extra cups, plates, and utensils.
Dratini and Kirlia walked behind the curtain, hearing the commotion from the front. "Kirlia?" The Emotion Pokemon blinks, seeing her Partner leaning on the table.
The Dragon Pokemon cries curiously at what she was seeing.
"Hat?" Hatenna wander to the back, seeing what the other Pokemon was seeing.
Helena blushed red, covering her mouth at what happened a little while ago. "I-I can't believe Steven saw me in this Maid outfit!" She whines, feeling embarrassed about what happened.
The tarp opened, revealing Roxanne in a similar outfit as Helena but with a brown bow. "Helena? I heard screams here, are you alright?" Roxanne asked her friend, she paused seeing her friend leaning on the table.
Roxanne quickly came to her, noticing she was trembling, and held her. "Helena, you're trembling. What's wrong?" She asked softly,
"S-Steven…"
"Steven?"
Helena looked at her brunette friend, now revealing her blushed face. "S-Steven saw me in the Maid Outfit!" The former Witch whines to her friend.
Roxanne blinks, hearing the reason why Helena was all flustered and trembling. She looks to the side, covered her mouth, and giggled.
Helena puffed her cheeks, playfully hitting her sides. "Roxanne! Don't laugh at me!" She whines, causing her to giggle more.
The Pokemon looked confused, seeing Helena playfully punching Roxanne. "I-I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Roxanne laughs, feeling Helena's punches lessens. She looks at Helena who was still blushing with embarrassment. "You seem fine when you wear your other clothes,"
"Yeah, but I never wore anything...with…with this so many frills." Helena held her skirt, still embarrassed with what she was wearing.
Roxanne smiles, placing her hand on the former Witch's shoulder. "Don't worry, I know what you mean. I feel a little uncomfortable too," She looks to the side, seeing Wallace enjoying himself with the Café they built. "But look at happy Wallace is."
Helena looks at the teal haired preparing the table for the incoming guest visiting the school. "He sure does," She shook her head, slapping her cheeks. "Alright, I'm over what just happened," The former Witch smiles, turning to Roxanne from behind.
"Let's do our best out there, Roxanne!" Helena smiles,
"Yeah, let's," Roxanne agreed, feeling pumped up.
The Pokemon cheered happily feeling the determination of their trainer through their bond.
The two trainers left behind the tarp and into the little makeshift Café in the classroom. Wallace dressed as a butler with a black tailcoat and a teal bow tie. "Helena, are you alright?" He asked, hearing her scream.
Pretty much everyone heard the black-haired trainer scream from the other side of the tarp. Helena nodded, allowing Hatenna to rest on her shoulder. "Yes, I'm good now. Sorry to make you guys worry," She apologizes to her Bond Week group.
"You got nothing to apologize for, Helena." Jackie came in with a stack of beverages for the guests. The blonde wore the same outfit as Wallace but with a yellow bow tie.
"Lombre!" Lombre agreed, helping his P
Flannery, wearing a suit with a red bow tie instead of a Maid outfit leans on the serving table. "So what was that scream back there?" She asked her friends, "Did something happen?" She added.
Helena jumps, feeling embarrassed again from moments ago. She looked away from her friends, unsure if she should tell them, she opens her mouth until the intercom came on.
-ZZZ- Attention all students Bond Week has officially started; all students report to your groups for incoming guests. -ZZZ-
One of the school's staff informed the entire student body and the Advisors to return to their stations.
"You got to be kidding me!" Flannery groans, wanting to know what happened with Helena behind the tarp.
Helena sighs in relief and thanked Arceus for the sudden interruption. 'Thank Arceus! If I tell them that Steven saw me in a Maid outfit both Flannery and Wally won't let it go.' She mentally exclaimed.
Jackie looks out of the window, seeing people with their Pokemon ready to be let in. "Wow, look at all that people." The blonde boy stated, seeing the Headmaster welcoming them as the gate opens. "We're going to have a lot of people in our little Maid Café." He chuckles.
"Do we have enough for all those people?" Roxanne asked, seeing the numbers increasing by the second.
"Nosepass," Nosepass waddles over with a tray over his head. "Nosepass," The Compass Pokemon have faith that they can handle them.
Roxanne heard Nosepass, happy that he believes that they can do this. "Thanks Nosepass, you always know what to say." The brunette smiles at her Partner next to her.
The classroom door opened revealing their blue and blonde-haired advisor walking into the room. "Alright everyone, it's time to show what you guys can do!" Adam smiles at his group his advising.
"Yeah!" Everyone cheered, ready to face the visitors.
The day went swimmingly, the visitors were having a grand time with the booths on the path to the school's entrance.
"Treecko, use Bullet Seed!" A trainer ordered her Partner to use a move on the targets.
The Wood Gecko leaps in the air, leaning back ready to fire. "Treecko!" Seeds came out of the Grass Starter's mouth and bombard the moving targets.
The targets glowed gold upon the impact of the seeds, three targets rang indicating the trainer won. "And we got a winner!" Steven cheered,
"Beldum!" The Duel-type cheered as well, giving joy to both Treecko and his trainer.
"Lileep!" The Fossil Pokemon cheers as well.
"We did it! Haha!" The trainer took Treecko in her arms, twirling around in place.
Brawly and his Partners walked up to the trainer with three trays of prizes. "Way to go, dudette! Choose whichever prized you want!" The young Surfer offered the trainer prizes.
"Evolution Stones?" The visiting trainer smiles upon seeing the prize. She smiles, taking the Fire Stone from Machop. "Thank you, I've been needing a Fire Stone for my Growlithe."
Machop smiles, seeing that this trainer chooses the stone he's holding. "Machop!" The Superpower Pokemon cried happily.
The two smile, seeing the trainer leaving their booth. "Thank you for visiting." They inclined their head to the leaving trainer.
"Great job you two, keep it up!" Both Brawly and Steven saw their Advisor smiling at them from the side.
Steven waves at their Advisor before Brawly came up to him. "So, about earlier…"
The Steel blue-haired boy glares at his friend, not wanting him to remind him of what transpired in the classroom. "I-I don't want to talk about it!" Steven gave a strained smile.
"But-"
"Don't."
Brawly smirks turning around with his hands behind his head and whistling away. "Whatever you say, Stevie." The sky-blue-haired trainer waved his hand at his friend.
Steven huffs, leaning on the counter. Both his Lileep and Beldum sense that something was bothering him.
"Beldum?" Beldum asked concerned for his Partner.
"Lileep?" Lileep asked also concerned for him.
Steven blinks, looking at his Partners with a concerned expression on their faces. "I'm fine you guys, just a bit off the edge." He smiles at his Partners. A bit of blush appeared on his cheeks remembering what he saw.
Lileep and Beldum looked at each other, still concerned for their trainer but waiting for the time for him to tell them.
Steven smiles and turns around, holding his mouth and hiding his blush. 'I can't believe I walked into Helena changing.' He thought before the image of Helena in that Maid Outfit appear in his mind. 'Gotta admit, she does look cute…' He smiles.
Back inside the school, the Maid Café was going off with a hitch. What Jackie and Roxanne said about having a lot of visitors was true. (Insert Amnesia Original Soundtrack - 06. Ikoi)
Flannery turns to the serving table after receiving an order. "One order of Pokemon food and a bowl of fruits!" The red-haired girl shouted.
"On it!" Jackie shouted from the table.
"Lombre!" The Jolly Pokemon replied as well.
Roxanne smiles, greeting the incoming visitors with their Pokemon. "Welcome masters,"
"Oh…" The male trainer blushes at the title she gave her.
"Nosepass," The Compass Pokemon raised his hands at the two.
"Please follow my Nosepass to your seats," Roxanne smiles, motioning to her Partner. "I'll be with you with your menus in a bit." The brunette informed the two.
"How charming, I will definitely love this!" The trainer's friend commented.
"Same,"
The two followed the Compass Pokemon to the table where Roxanne grabbed the menus and followed them to the table where Nosepass lead them.
Helena hums, preparing some fruits and other assortments for the Café. "Helena," The former Witch heard her name being called by someone in the room. She looks at the center of the room where Wallace finished cleaning the table for the next guests.
"We need some more plates; can you get some from the back?" The Champion asked Helena,
"Mudkip!" Mudkip raised his little hand, indicating the same thing.
Helena nodded, obliging to the request. "Okay, let's go Hatenna." She looks up to the Calm Pokemon on her head. "Hat, Hatenna!" She cheered.
Helena looks over to Kirlia preparing fruits like her. "Kirlia, can you handle doing the fruits on your own?" She asked her Partner.
The Duel-type looks up at her Partner, nodding to her simple request. "Kirlia," Kirlia responds, using Psychic to lift the knife and fruits to cut them.
Jackie looks at Helena, a bit of blush covered his cheeks upon looking. "I-I can watch over Kirlia while you do your thing, Helena." The blonde offered his service.
"Thank you, both of you" Helena walks behind the tarp where Adam was shaving the ice block made by Dratini's Ice Beam.
Dratini turned around smiling at her Partner, "Hatenna!" The Duel-type jumps down from Helena's head and waddles over to the Dragon-type.
The two smile, conversing with each other about the Café.
"Professor, we need plates for some more visitors," Helena informed their Advisor about what they needed.
The blue and blonde-haired man looks up after finishing shaving the right amount of ice for beverages. "They're at the corner over there." Adam points to the box filled with extra supplies.
Helena nodded, walking over to the boxes. She rummages through it in search of plates that Wallace asked of her.
Adam walks behind her, crossing his arms. "So…have you decided if you want to be my apprentice, Helena?" The blue and blonde-haired Professor asked the aspiring researcher.
Helena grabs the plates, hearing what her group Advisor asked. She had plenty of time to think about the sudden offer from this man, however, she made up her mind. "Professor Ceder, as much I want to learn more about Pokemon Regional forms, I have to refuse." She declines the offer.
"It's just, that I want to finish my current journey before I moved on to another journey." Helena smiles brightly, holding the plates to her waist. "I hope you understand, Professor." She said, not wanting to leave the people that help her just yet.
Adam smiles, not minding that's her decision. "It's quite alright, I understand how you feel." The Professor said, placing his hand on his side. "Until you finish your current journey, the position is still up. You can always find me here in the school,"
Helena inclined her head to the Professor, happy that he understands her desire. "Thank you very much,"
"Now, don't you have plates to deliver?" Adam smiles,
"Helena! Where're the plates?" Wallace called for her name from the Café part of the room.
Helena jumps, hearing her name being shouted from the other side of the tarp. "I-I better go before Wallace gets mad." The black-haired girl quickly heads to the other side, calling Hatenna to her side.
Adam smiles walking over to Dratini and petting her head. "Welp, I guess I can hold off that research trip huh." He sighs at the declined offer from the trainer who has the potential to become someone big, as the Professors, said in Littleroot Town. "I better call Irina that I won't be coming home for a while,"
Dratini looks at Adam, a bit concerned for her trainer's safety. She cried worry for her,
"Mmm? Oh, I don't mean anything like that. I was told about Helena from Lusamine, Katelyn, and Owen when I returned." Adam petted Dratini's head. "It's hard to find young researchers these days." He sighs hearing Dratini cry to comfort him.
Helena walks over to Wallace, throwing away the paper plates in the trash. "Sorry Wallace, Professor Ceder was asking for my answer for the offer he gave me." She explains to the teal-haired Champion.
Wallace looks at the black-haired girl, explaining why she was late with the plates. "That's fine, it's not like a visitor is asking for you or anything." He sarcastically said,
"Huh?" Helena blinks, unsure what he means.
Hatenna notices a blonde man with a bun waving at them. "Hatenna! Hat!" The Duel-type patted her head, pointing to the table with the man.
Helena looks up at Hatenna, gaining her attention. "What is it, Hatenna?" She looks up at the Daycare Pokemon sitting on her head.
"Hatenna." Hatenna points to the table where Helena follows where she wants her to look.
Helena saw a familiar blonde man in a black turtle sweater and dark grey jeans with black boots. "I'll leave him to you, Helena. He seems like he wants to speak to you." Wallace smiles, knowing this man well.
"Hey trainer, how're doing?" The man smiles with an egg-like Pokemon sipping a Pecha berry milkshake.
"Wyscan, what a surprise," Helena greeted the blonde researcher back in the Pokemon Lab in Littleroot Town.
"Toge! Toge!" Togepi smiles, happily enjoying the sweet treat.
"You're really enjoying your milkshake, Togepi?" The blonde man chuckled at his Fairy-type Pokemon. "Remember not to drink too much or else you'll get a stomachache." Wyscan reminds his Togepi.
Togepi raised his little numbs, acknowledging the warning. "Togepi!" He cried,
Helena smiles, turning to face the researcher properly. "I see you heard about our Bond Week event in our school, Wyscan." She converses with the man.
Wyscan nodded, "Yeah, you see Adam-er Professor Ceder is a friend I met back in our home Region of Sinnoh." The blonde researcher explains how he figures out the Bond Week event. "He informed me of this Event, a perfect bonding experience with my friend Togepi, a Fairy-type. I have another Partner with me, but he's a bit…big for the room." He chuckled, patting his Pokeball on his belt.
"Oh, really?" Helena smiles, looking at the little Pokemon in an egg. "Well, we don't want anything damaged in the classroom." She smiles and chuckles before getting to the part he asked her for.
"Wallace told me that you need me of something?" The former Witch asked the young researcher.
Wyscan nodded, rummaging through his bag beside his seat. "Yes, I have something for you meant to be a gift for being Professor Ceder's apprentice/assistant." The blonde took out a white flute and handed it over to Helena. "But by the looks of it, you didn't accept." He saw Adam shrugging his shoulder.
Helena took the beautiful-looking flute, the white sparkled when the sun's rays hit it. "Hat?" Hatenna looks down at the flute, sensing something important about it.
"What a beautiful flute," Helena smiles, seeing how precious this item is.
Wyscan held up his finger, smiling and closing his eyes. "This flute is called a Celestica Flute, a rare item that many don't know how to create anymore." The blonde informed Helena what she holds. "Legends say that in the Hisui Region the Hisuian People will use this to call upon a special Pokemon. When played timbre is eerie and mysterious."
"Why give it to me? If it's this rare, why isn't it in a museum on display?" Helena asked, not sure why she has been given this rare item.
Wyscan shrugs, "Call it…a hunch. Plus this will help you research the Legends of Hisui and their Pokemon." He smiles.
Helena looks down at the important item in her hands. She nods, smiling at this rare and generous gift from a friend. "Thank you, Wyscan. I will keep this safe and care for it."
"I know you will," The blonde researcher laughs, knowing that this girl will achieve many things.
Soon the sun sets, signifying the end of Bond Week. Many trainers that visited continued their way to a hotel or Pokemon Center where they can rest for the day.
In the Maid Café, everyone cleared the room for tomorrow's class. Everyone got changed into their regular clothes prior to the Café opening.
Helena walks back inside the classroom after delivering Hatenna back to the Daycare. "I have to admit, once you've gotten used to wearing the Maid Outfit it's actually fun." The rookie smiles.
"Kirlia," Kirlia smiles, walking beside her, Dratini cries as she slithers beside her trainer.
"See? I told you guys this was going to be a fun idea." Wallace chuckled, tying the garbage bags filled with used paper plates and other trash. "Even Mudkip thinks this is a great idea!"
Flannery groans, placing the last desk back in its proper place. "Yeah, yeah, it was kinda fun." She smiles, looking at Torkoal who was finishing some leftovers of proper fruits. "Did you have fun Torkoal? Even if you are on scrap duty," She laughs.
Torkoal lifts her head, nodding to her trainer's words. "Torkoal!" She responded with a mouth filled with fruits.
The red-haired laughs, petting her Partner's head.
Adam returned from reporting to the Headmaster, clapping his hands to get everyone's attention. "Well done, everyone. You all have bonded with your Pokemon Partners well, like everyone, the Headmaster is very proud of your progress."
"Thanks, Professor Ceder," Roxanne said, standing on a ladder as she took down the tarp with Jackie.
"That means a lot coming from you," Jackie added, having Lombre steady him.
Helena walks over to the blue and blonde-haired Professor, having a question in mind. "Professor, what are we going to do tomorrow?" She asked.
Adam turns to Helena, answering her question. "Like any other day, Helena. Classes will continue as scheduled but at a later time since everyone is still cleaning up." The School's Professor explains.
"So a late start to classes huh?" Wallace smiles, feeling that was a reasonable reward. "Sounds good to me,"
Adam chuckled, going to the board to wipe clean the little drawings they did for this Café. "Well, you all should hurry to get a good night's rest. You deserve it after a long day of work." The Professor advises the young trainers.
"Hai!"
Later that night in the girl's dormitories, Helena changed into her pink pajamas and placed the Celestica Flute on her nightstand. Kirlia and Dratini were sleeping on her bed while she smiles at the gift from Wyscan, "That's one sweet flute Wyscan gave you, Ellie," Helena looks at Flannery across from her bed,
Flannery wore red pajama pants and a black sleeveless shirt with her hair down. "Thanks, Flannery, it's a nice item. But sadly I can't play the flute," Helena sighs happily at the downside.
Roxanne was wearing grey pajamas and combing through her hair before going to sleep. "If I remember, Professor Ceder played a flute one time in the Daycare." The brunette turns to her friend, thinking he might teach her. "Since he plays the flute, I'm sure he can teach you how to play." She suggested.
"It wouldn't hurt to ask," Flannery piqued, adding her thoughts.
"Since you suggested that, I will ask him when he has free time," Helena said, getting into bed.
Roxanne smiles, petting her Nosepass who's already sleeping beside her bed. "Good for you, well goodnight, everyone."
"Night" They all slept, finally having rest after a long stressful week. (End song).
Hogwarts, Gryffindor Tower, Girl's side
"Helena?" Hermione knocked on the door, calling her friend from the other side. "Helena, please come out. We're worried about you,"
Ginny steps forward, feeling concerned for her friend's well-being. "Helena, what my brother did was unforgivable. Please open up, we're here to support you." She added, looking at Hermione who shared the same worried expression.
"She won't open the door, tch. Typical of girls shutting themselves from everyone." The girls turned around to Ron crossing his arms with his wand in his hand.
Hermione and Ginny blocked the door from Ron, "Ron, you know very well that you're not allowed in the girl's dormitories," The bushy haired girl stated,
Ginny agreed with her friend, wanting to protect Helena from her brother's antics. "Helena made it clear that she doesn't want to be near you." The red-haired girl said, still livid from what Dumbledore pulled on their friend.
Ron scoffs, pushing them aside. "Oh please, I'm Helena's fiancé. I can see her whenever I want whether she likes it or not." He said, being all snobby about being the Girl-Who-Lived's future Husband.
"Mum and Dad won't like this, Ronald," Ginny growls, wanting to do something but can't due to the Ward preventing any spells that could harm or paralyze a student. 'Merlin, only if Hermione didn't cast that freezing spell on Neville, then I could do the same to my brother.' She thought.
'Only if that Ward wasn't up then I can do that spell again on Ron.' Hermione mentally growls, watching Ron unlock the door.
"Alohomora," The girls felt helpless since they can't do anything to help their best friend from seeing Ron.
Ron smirks, pushing the door open. "Helena! Where are you, you're late for our date!" He shouted as a silver owl flocked around the red-haired intruder. "Damn bird! Sod off!" He waved his hand at Hedwig, flapping away from him.
The three took a good look at Helena, Ginny, and Hermione's room, where no one was inside. "Where's Helena? I don't see her!" Ron growls, storming off to find her.
Hermione and Ginny were left alone, hearing the stomping of Ron outside in the hall. "Helena's not in our room." The red-haired girl said, now getting concerned.
Hermione took a deep breath and began to search the room for something. "Alright, Helena's probably hiding somewhere else in the school." The young Witch stated, seeing what she was looking for. "Ah, there it is."
"Hermione, what are you looking for?" Ginny asked, following Hermione's movements to their friend's nightstand. She watches as the bushy-haired girl took out Helena's map gifted by her brothers and was taken by Lupin before giving it back as a parting gift with extensions of Hogwarts's grounds.
"That's the Marauder's Map. Hermione, you can't be serious about using Helena's map-"
Hermione opened the map, revealing many names walking around Hogwarts. "Before we go on a frantic search for Helena, it's better if we do things the smart way just like Helena would do." She smiles, remembering her quote on the first day they met.
Ginny nodded, seeing that would be the best play they got. "Alright, let's see where she is." She said walking over to the map.
Looking at the Marauder's Map, Helena's name was on the area where the Forbidden Forest is. However, upon reaching a certain point within the Forest, her name disappeared. "W-Where's her name? It just vanished." Ginny panicked.
"I-I don't know," Hermione tried extending the map, but Helena's name wasn't anywhere. "W-Where could she be!?"
"Maybe the map is broken, or-"
Hermione looks at Ginny, shaking her head. "No, it can't be broken. The Marauder's Map is always right, it can't be wrong or broken." She explains, remembering what Helena said about it.
Ginny held her hands together, now really worried. "Should we tell Professor McGonagall or Professor-" They paused, knowing that the Professor was currently staying at Hogsmeade until the next train in a few days.
"LUPIN!" They exclaimed, knowing that he might know what was wrong with the map.
"Professor Lupin is in Hogsmeade as we speak!" Ginny points to the name in the town.
Hermione nodded, closing the map. "Let's go, Ginny, he might have some insights into Helena's name disappearing." She said, running off to find Professor Lupin with Ginny.
Hedwig was observing the girls running off in the halls. She hid the note that she delivered to Helena in her nest until the moment's right to show them.
AN: If you were expecting Helena to accept the apprenticeship with Adam, don't worry I have planned for that to happen. They're going to be one-shots in the story after Helena completes her journey with Steven and the others when they make it to the Hoenn League. Anyways, please leave a comment or review, I appreciate it.
