CH 7
Few hours later every one parted ways since it was getting late and they all have to travel back to home the next day. That night while in bed Kate snuggled up to mike side while running her fingers through his chest hair
"Are you ok Kate" She turn to look at him
"yes I'm fine, are you ok, you and your grand father where away for a while"
"He wanted to talk to me in private"
"Every thing ok"
"Yes every thing fine" Mike move to give her a kiss
"Ok lets get some sleep we flying back home tomorrow"
"I know" Kate said. They close there eyes and fell into peaceful sleep.
The next morning Mike and Kate left the hotel just after eleven since they were flying back to Sydney in hour and a half. Later that afternoon, the taxi drop Kate off first at her apartment. Kate and mike kiss in the taxi before she got out since the driver was getting her bag out of the boot of the car and pass it to her
"Thank you" Kate said then she walk around to the back door since the window was down.
"See you tomorrow night Mike"
"looking ford to it" Kate kiss him once more before the taxi driver left.
Kate smile as she walk towards the double doors and headed up to her apartment.
Two days later HMAS Darwin left for two month patrol. Month later Kate received a letter from Mike which made her smile so when she was in her cabin she read what it said. Kate was shock that Mike told her that he been transferred up to Darwin and what ship he going to be on.
When he told her the date, she relies it was tomorrow date that he leaving and that he is staying at Jane place till he can find a place to stay and that he will let her know the dates on when his ship is in port so if it the same time as HMAS Darwin she could fly up to be with him or Mike flies down to be with her.
When she finish reading his letter she stood up and walk over to her desk and sat down. She open writing pad that in front of her and started writing back to Mike.
Month later when HMAS Darwin return back to port Kate went home to do what she always done but the only differences is that mike won't be visiting her that night. During her shore leave she went and spend some time with Paul and Alice.
Over the next six month Mike and Kate either write to each other or they call each other up when they were in port but only have one night where they can talk since one was leaving the next day for there patrol at the same time the other one return for some shore leave.
Mike found a great apartment ten minutes from the navy docks. Plus they lean like the rest of the family that Jane gave birth to a boy and Kayla and Michele is pregnant.
One day ship that mike is on the the Fremantle class ship called HMAS Albany return to Darwin for five days. Mike who the XO of the ship went to do his normal duties before leaving to head home. He was in his cabin when there was a knock on his door
"Sir" Mike look up from his paper work and turn to the sailor
"yes shiner"
"you got a visitor sir" Then he step a side then the person appeared.
Mike stood up in shock "Kate" she walk in to hug and kiss mike
"surprise"
"Yeah, thanks shiner"
"Yes sir, ma'am" Shiner said smiling as he walk away.
Mike turn to Kate "Kate this is a surprise what are you doing here"
"to spend three days with you"
"three days" He said in shock
"Yes, why did you have plans"
"No" then he kiss her once again.
"i miss you" mike said
"I miss you to Mike"
"Ah let me finish this report then we can get out of here"
"Sure"
"Here sit down" Kate was over and sat on his bunk bed while he sat down at his desk.
"when did you arrive here in Darwin?"
"This afternoon, Jane let me in your apartment"
"Ok" Mike turn back to finish off his paper work when Kate stood up and walk over to see what he is writing.
Mike turn to Kate "It a boarding report we did on our way back"
"May day call"
"yeah"
then he return back to what he was doing while Kate read what mike put in his report till he was finish. When he close the file he turn to Kate as he stood up
"I'll give this to the captain then we can head on home"
"Sure"
Mike pick up his duffel bag since he was already in civilian clothing and his files then he and Kate walk out of his cabin. They walk down to the captain cabin.
"sir" Mike said, the captain turn to mike
"done your reports Mike"
"Yes sir" Mike pass him the files
"Good, I heard you got a women in your cabin"
Captain saw Mike smile then he turn to Kate then he reach over and held on to her hand then he pulled her towards him then he turn to the captain
"Lieutenant commander Steve Marshal, this is midshipmen Kate McGregor"
"sir" Kate said saluting Steve which he did in return
"Midshipmen it nice to met you at last" Steve step forward to shake Kate hand
"thank you sir, how do you know me" Steve smile
"Mike told me about you" Kate turn to Mike who was grinning then back to Steve
"Has he sir"
"Yes he has, don't worry it all good" Kate smile
"We are off now sir, see you in five days"
"ok Mike enjoy your shore leave"
"You to sir"
Then mike and Kate walk down the corridor till they came to an exit which leads to out side. Mike said his good byes to some of the crew along the way.
When Mike and Kate walk in to his apartment and is in the bedroom, Mike put his sea bag on the bed then he turn to Kate then he step ford wrapping his arms around her waist then he gave her a passionate kiss, during the kiss Kate wrap her arms around his neck.
When they pulled apart they both were smiling. "I've miss you so much Kate"
"I've miss you to"
"I'm happy that your here"
"Same here mike. What would you like to do"
"hold you in my arms like this" Kate laugh
"Ok how about I go and have a quick shower and we head in to town for some dinner"
"sounds great to me"
"Great"
they kiss once more before mike walk into his bathroom to have his shower while Kate walk out of the bedroom and into the kitchen she she went and made her self a drink while waiting for mike.
Half an hour later Mike and Kate walk out of mike apartment and walk down to a restaurant where mike goes to when he returns back from his patrol. They both enjoyed dinner while talking about different things then they return back to his place couple hours later where they talk some more for the next couple of hours before going to bed.
When they walk into the bedroom Kate turn to mike. "I got a surprise for you" Kate said
"a surprise for me"
"Yes" she kiss him before walking over to her bag to get her night ware out then walking into the bathroom with out mike seeing what the items are.
Mike went and got change then he got into bed and waited for Kate to walk out of the bathroom. When the door open Kate walk out wearing some thing that that mike never seen her wear before he sat up in bed in shock
"wow" He said.
Kate was wearing a light blue silk robe that went above her knees and it was three quarter sleeve.
"Kate wow"
Kate turn the light off in the bathroom then she step forward till she was at the end of the bed. She undid the tie of the rope then she raise he hands to the two sides of the robe and pull it off her shoulders and onto the floor. Mike eyes and mouth open in shock when Kate was wearing a light blue spaghetti strap silk short night gown that was above her knees. He got out of bed while not taking his eyes off her.
He step forward till he was standing in front of her. "Kate"
he look into her eyes "you look amazing"
"you like the surprise" Mike smile
"i love it. But what dose this mean Kate, tell me"
"I wanted to see your reaction and I want to take the next step...not sex, but other things"
"Other things"
"Yes"
"Like what" Kate held onto her hand and raise it then put it against her breast while looking at him in the eyes.
"what ever you want Kate" He then kiss her
"If you say no or stop, I'll stop, ok"

Mike then move his hands up to the shoulder straps, he pulled them down her shoulders while leave his fingers on her skin till the straps are down her arms, the night gown slowly went down till it drop on the ground. At the whole time, mike never took his eyes off Kate once.
Then he look down to her breasts and down her body he saw she was wearing same color panties. Then he look up into her eyes then he lean ford to kiss her. Then he held her hand and turn to her side of the bed pulling her with him.
When they reach her side of the bed, he pull back the covers and then he help Kate in to bed. Then he slowly climb on top of her with his legs on each side of her's while not braking eye contact the whole time. Then he manage to pull the covers over them both. Then he bend down and kiss her.
"Kate what would you like for me to do"
"you know I got no experience."
"i know let me show you how much I love you, no sex till your ready"
"Ok"
Mike kiss her once more then he kiss her shoulder blade then he kiss his way down to her left breast. Kate watches what mike was slowly doing to her. She never felt any thing like it before the way he kiss her and what he was doing to her, it was doing some thing to her she never felt before. She knew she wasn't ready but what mike was doing to her made her felt good. When he move his way back up to her face he kiss her once more.
"Are you ok" Mike asked
"yes I never felt any thing like that before"
"It a start Kate"
"I know, thank you" She kiss him back before he rolled off her but he pulled her to his side like he dose every time they sleep together.
"Is there any thing else you would like for me to do" Mike asked
"Hold me"
"i can do that" He reach over and turn the light off then he held her in his arms as they fell a sleep in each other arms.
The next morning when Kate woke up she notice that she and mike and turn while sleeping. Mike was snuggling up to Kate back with one of his hands on her breast. Kate froze for few seconds then she remember what happen last night which made her smile then she notice some thing happening. Mike lightly squeeze her breast while kissing her neck under her ear.
"morning beautiful" Kate move till she was lying on her back looking up at mike
"morning" then mike look down to where he hand was then he look at Kate
"sorry" he move his hand off her breast.
She quickly put her hand on top of his stopping him from moving it away "it ok Mike"

"It is" mike smile then lean over and kiss her.
"i was worried that I over did it"
"no you didn't Mike"
"Ok so did you sleep ok"

"Yes I did" then he lean over and kiss her once more while he move till he was on top of her once again.
When they broke apart Kate relies that Mike legs was between hers, Mike notice it also.
"you know what I want to do right now" Mike said grinning
"no what" Kate was getting worried
"Kiss that weak spot of yours" Kate eyes widen and he move to kiss Kate neck under her ear the weak spot mike found the night before. Kate started to grin then giggle.
"Now let see if there are any other weak spots" Mike said whispering in her ear as he started kissing her neck and shoulder again.
Kate relies what he was doing do she let him do it again knowing that he won't hurt her. When he was kissing in side of her leg, he could smell that aroma come from Kate panties knowing that he was turning her on. He kiss inside her legs till he was close to her crouch
"Stop" Kate said. Mike stop and look up at her since it was the first time he kiss her legs

"yes, I love you Kate, thank you for trusting me while I was between your legs. I know that took a lot of courage for letting me not only going down there but seeing you almost naked. It a great step Kate"
"I know I was nervous"
"Well don't be Kate and when you are ready for the next step I'll be waiting and we can take it slow"
"thanks Mike" He kiss her
"any time so breakfast" Kate smile

"Great then after wards while don't we spend the day seeing different sites"
"that a great idea" they kiss once more before getting out of bed. Mike went and pick up Kate robe and night gown
"Is this the only ones you got Kate"
"Yes" Mike grin
"I'll have to buy you some different ones, they look sexy on you"
He flick his eye brows at her which made her smile as she step forward to take them out of his hand.
"Is that right Mike"
"Yep" Kate kiss him before walking into his bathroom
"I'm going to have my shower"
"ok" Kate close the door behind her.
Mike got dress and made the bed while smiling. Then he walk out of the bedroom and down to the second toilet is. After he finish there he walk into the kitchen to get breakfast on.
After breakfast and every thing done. Mike and Kate went to see some sites in Darwin since it was a beautiful day. While in town they went to do some shopping. While shopping Mike held onto Kate hand as they was into a shop that sells sexy night wear and under wear.
"Mike" He stop and turn to Kate
"I said I was going to buy you some different ones"
Mike kiss Kate then he look around till he found what he was looking for so he walk over to the rake while holding onto Kate hand.
"Here we are, let see what they got" Kate couldn't believe what mike was doing. Mike was looking through the different items till he pull one of the rack
"What do you think of this one Kate" He pick up a red silk short night gown with top part covered in lace
"mike" He put it against Kate then look at her
"i like it and it your size" then he pick up the silk lace panties and robe that went with it.
Then they look at other ones. Some mike didn't like. The ones he did like he brought Kate. Once he got the ones he like he turn to Kate
"Kate are you ok. Did I go over board"
"mike I appreciate you buying me this but you could of ask what ones I might like" mike manage to pull her in to his arms since they were full of clothing
"sorry Kate" then he kiss her
"Is there any of them you don't like I could put back and let you choice"
"I do like them Mike, next time ask for my opinion"
"i will what about some sexy under wear" mike flick his eye brows at her which made her laugh
"Well I do need some new ones"
"Well how about we choice together"
"alright" They walk over to where the under wear is.
They look through them for over an hour before they walk up to the counter with Kate carrying ten panties and bra sets. The women behind the counter smile at them.
"afternoon sir, ma'am is this all for today"
"Yes ma'am" Mike said
"Are they being paid together"
"I'm paying for these" Kate said putting her hand on the bras and panties set
"Very well, we don't get many couples in here it usually the women"
"Really" Mike said
"Yes the only time we do see men is for valentines they do ask for help on what to get there girl friend, wife"
"What about Christmas" mike asked
"then to" Mike turn to Kate while grinning
"Oh no you not Mike"

"i know that look, and I would be embarrass if I open your gift in front of the family"
"so" Mike said grinning
"mike" Kate shook her head.
"you could get your girl friend here a gift card and she could come in here to choice the item"
"I'm station in Sydney and it first time I've seen mike in over six months"
"six months why so long apart if you don't mind me asking"
"We both in the navy and timing hasn't been good for when both ships are in port for three days or more" Mike said
"Ah that can be hard for any couples"
"It is" Mike said.
Few minutes later Mike and Kate walk out of the shop hand in hand while mike was carrying the bags items. Later that night Mike and Kate cook dinner together while sipping on glass of wine while talking. After dinner they relax on the couch listening to some soft music while in each others arms.
"What time is your plane tomorrow Kate"
"sixteen hundred hours"
"ok, so what shall we do tomorrow morning"
"I don't know mike, any ideas?"
"We could go to the movies in the morning and have lunch in town"
"sounds good to me" Mike lean over and kiss Kate.
"Good, so shall we go to bed"
"Why Mike" Mike move so his could kiss her weak spot
"Cause I want to kiss you all over again" he whisper in her ear then he move back to see Kate smiling
"Well, ok" they stood up and walk down and into mike bedroom with him turn lights off along the way.
That night while in bed Mike kiss Kate all over like he did that morning. Kate did tense up when he got closer to her crouch but she then relax when he move to her other leg like he did that morning. She enjoy what mike was doing to her knowing that one day she will some way some how pay him back.
The next morning Mike and Kate went to the movies and had lunch at a cafe not far from the movie theater then they return back to mike apartment for couple of hours before mike took Kate to the air port.
When they were in the air port and Kate bag was taken care of they walk over to where Kate would be going through a gate to board the plane. Since they got few minutes they held on to each other while resting there ford heads together while looking in to each other eyes.
"I'm going to miss you Kate"
"Same here Mike, I don't know when the next time we see each other"
"True. I can't believe that we both will be out on patrol over Christmas, new year"
"i know but what we can do is send each other a gift and we can open it on Christmas day where ever we are" mike grin
"i like that idea. Since I got couple more days off I'll go shopping and send the gift to you"
"I'll do mine next month and have it sent to you before you leave for your patrol before Christmas next month"
"Ok, any idea what you going to get me this year?" Kate smile
"I got couple of ideas"
Then they heard over the PA system about the boarding. Mike and Kate hug and kiss like many others who are there to say good bye to there love ones.
"I'll call you when I get home" Kate said
"I'll be looking ford to you call" they hug and kiss once more
"love you" mike said
"love you to"
Kate step back looking at mike then she turn and walk towards where the other passengers were going. She stop at the door showing the worker her ticket. When it was given back to Kate she turn to see Mike looking at her, so they wave to each other before fore Kate turn and follow the other passengers to and on the plane.
Mike watch Kate as she got on the plane and the plane headed to the run way and take off. Mike turn and walk back the way he came and headed home to wait for Kate to call him.
