Steve notice how one of the women was looking at mike then she walk over to him and wrap her arms around his neck and went to kiss him when he stop her
"Ma'am what are you doing" Mike manage to move the women arms from his neck
"Giving you a thank you kiss"
"sorry ma'am just a thank you is alright, if you will excuse me I got work to do"
"to bad you one good looker" she gave him a wink before walking back over to her friends
"Lieutenant, my cabin now, boxer can you show these guests down below and keep an eye on them"
"Yes sir"
mike and Steve walk down and into Steve cabin where Steve manage to close his door so no one could hear them talk
"Steve what wrong"
"Kate she told me about her up bringing, the rapes"
"Why did she do that unless she saw some one she knows that we brought on board"
"she did, that women who was in the tinny and who try to kiss you just before, Kate reconsigned her"
"Did Kate tell you who she is"
"Yes Mike, it her mother" Mike look at Steve in shock
"Her mother"
"Yes"
"I got to see Kate, thanks for telling me Steve" then mike walk out of Steve cabin and up to the bridge
"sir if you looking for your girlfriend she in your cabin"
"thanks shiner" Mike turn around and walk back out the door.
He walk down to his cabin where he open the door and walk in closing the door behind him then he step ford and turn around and sat down on his bottom bunk bed. Kate was sitting against the walk with her knees up and her arms around her legs. Her head was down.
"Hey" mike said softly. Kate lifted her head and turn to look at him.
He could see that she been crying so he put his arm around her shoulder as she lean against him
"Steve told me about your mother being on that boat"
"i knew he would, I suppose you got a good eye full of her naked body"
"It was a shock, even though I didn't know who she was at the time, any way, I like you body better" Kate turn to look at mike to see if he telling the truth
"you like mine better?" mike smile
"Yes I do I love putting my hands on your soft silky skin especially when I remove sustain sexy items like I did in the past few night. Plus I love kissing your skin, especially in spots like right here" He lean over and kiss that one spot that make Kate giggle
"Mike" she said giggling.
He move back till he was looking at her "plus I love showing you how much I love you like I did yesterday"

"Yes I do Kate, you mean a lot to me. You getting to know me and I'm getting to know you, our little secrets, plus we been there for each other. You know about Maxine and my other girl friends, I know about your up bringing and the hell you went through. "I won't mike" Kate put her hand in his, he brought it up to his lips and kiss it then he turn to Kate

"i better get back to work, you can stay here till we return back to port"
"thanks, tell the captain not to forget to pick up the ghost net on the way back"

"there some thing else you and captain should know"
"what is it Kate"
"Four men that return on the second trip from that boat, the ones in the green shirt, the red shirt. The green strip shirt and white tee shirt with brown curry hair"
"Yeah do you know them"
"Yes they are part of my mother drinking drug party group, they were arrested the night of the rape for drug offenses. They were supplying the drugs to mum and Robby parties. They all got records"
"ok what there names" Kate pick up a piece of paper and past it to mike
"Here there information that I could remember. I hope it would help"
"thanks Kate" He bend over and kiss Kate once more.
"Lie down and get some rest Kate cause this afternoon I'm planing on making passionate love to you all afternoon"

he flick his eye brows at her before turning around and walk to the door to open it and walk out he turn to see Kate lying down with a smile on her face looking at mike just as he close his door.
then he walk down to Steve cabin where mike spoke to Steve before he went to check on the guests before returning back to the bridge. When HMAS Albany return back to port, they were away for almost six hours. The crew took care of the guests first before they finish doing there jobs before leaving.
Mike and Steve were in in Steve cabin going over the may day report before leaving them selves. Mike went to check on Kate. When he walk into his cabin Kate was sitting up on his bed yawning
"Had a good nap" Kate smile
"Yeah I notice we dock"
"An hour ago, guests are gone"
"Ok"
"I'll get change then we can go and get some late lunch, how that sound"
"sounds good to me, while you get change I need to go to the head"
"Alright, meet you on the wharf" Kate stood up and walk to the door and open it and walk out closing it behind her.
Mike went and got change then he met Kate on the wharf. They put there arms around each other as they walk away while talking not knowing that back on the ship the ones who over heard Kate telling Steve about her past was telling the other crew members.
They were shock with what they heard "your joking she doesn't look like a victim"
"She is she come along way since then. Mighty mike is one lucky patient guy"
"Yeah love dose crazy things to people" one guy said
"True, who up for a beer"
"sounds good to me" another crew member said.
Mike and Kate went to a cafe for lunch then they ended up doing some shopping before returning back to the apartment. That night they made passionate love before falling asleep in each other arms.
The next few days they went site seeing during the day and making love at night and in the morning. Jane manage to talk to Kate. "Well Kate did you and mike do it" Kate laugh
"Yes Jane we did and your right, making love over power rape"
"See told you so, so how was it"
"amazing, Mike took his time the first time round"
"first time" Jane raise her eye brows then asked
"how many times have you two done it"
"Three times that afternoon and evening"
"wow sounds like you two got a lot of catching up to do" Jane said laughing over the phone

"Twice, here you talk about mike and my sex lives" Jane laugh
"Why not, look I got to go some one at the door" Kate heard the door bell ring
"Ok Jane bye"
"Bye" then the hung up.
Kate rolled on top of mike so she could put the phone on his bed side draws.
"You know she going to call mum later and tell her"
"so, we know that the family will be happy for us"
"True and as for love making" Mike pull Kate head down for a kiss then he roll them both till he was on top
"Ready to go again" Kate laugh.
"As Jane said we got a lot of catching up to do" Kate said smiling
"We got five days for start" then he kiss Kate once more.
A week after Kate arrived in Darwin, mike took Kate to the air port since she was flying back to Canberra even though it a Saturday, Kate wanted to do some shopping for a wedding dress the next day as well do some studying before Monday class. Mike hug and kiss Kate before she follow the other passengers onto the plane. Mike watch it take off then he return back to his place alone.
When Kate return back to the academy she sorted out her bag and went to bed reading the latest bridal catalog that Jo and Jane sent to her. that night since she had dinner in Canberra before returning back to the academy.
The next day Kate went from one bridal shop to another to see what dresses they got in and try different ones on. And she did some other shopping and had lunch while shopping.
That after noon Kate return back to her room to put her shopping away then she walk down to the library to do some research and study for couple of hours then went to have some dinner then back to the library to study before returning back to her room for the night.
Over the next five months Mike and Kate wrote to each other, one of the topics was a wedding date. It was hard to set a date since mike doesn't know what happening about over Christmas new year not knowing if he going to be out on patrol or not but he would let her know soon as he knows the dates of the patrol.
When mike got the dates he send Kate a letter with the dates of shore leave. When Kate received them she look at her calendar and reply back to mike about when the best time to have the wedding and ideas of where to have the wedding and people who to invite.
When Kate wasn't thinking about the wedding she was busy studying for her up coming tests and exams. At the end of November every one please that the year was over and people started getting things sorted out for the graduation week begins before the Christmas holiday.
In December everyone got was busy and getting results back from there test and exams. Kate smile when she got her's back. Few days later is was prizes and awards ceremony day where all the midshipmen and others from the air force and army all attend the ceremony.
Kate saw Paul and Alice there since she invited them. When the ceremony began every one watch number of midshipmen and others received there prizes.
Kate was shock when he name was called so she went to received her prize then return back to her spot. Then it was the awards. Number of people received awards.
Kate, Paul and Alice was shock when Kate name was called for number of awards she won for the first year midshipmen. She was awarded the top year one student in the navy and for top leadership award as well.
When the ceremony was over every one started talking to each other as well congratulated on the ones who won prizes and awards. Kate look around and smile as she walk over to Paul and Alice. Kate gave them both a hug.
"Kate we are proud of you"
"thanks Alice, it a shame that mike isn't here today"
"Kate" Paul said he look behind her.
Kate turn around and smile then she walk towards mike till she stop in front of him and they both saluted each other then they hug and kiss in front of every one there.
When they pull apart they were still smiling "Mike this is a surprise"
"got three days shore leave we caught a ghost net, Albany in dry dock getting fix. I saw you received you prizes and awards, I'm proud of you Kate"
"thanks mike" they kiss once more then turn to Paul and Alice who walk over to them Mike greeted them.
They talk and laugh for a few minutes then the instructors walk over and Kate interduce them to mike, Paul and Alice.
"Lieutenant Flynn your fiancee is one hell of a task master and she never back down to an argument" Mike smile
"did she corrected you sir"
"Yes she did, you must be prod of her"
"Yes I am sir"
"midshipmen see you next year"
"Yes sir" Then her instructors walk away leaving them alone.
They talk and mingle for another hours before leaving the academy for the night. Kate went and got change and pack an over night bag before leaving since mike manage to book a hotel room for the night.
That night Paul, Alice, Mike and Kate went out to a restaurant for dinner then they went there separate ways for the rest of the night. Mike and Kate return back to the hotel for the night. They spent most of the night talking and making passionate love before falling asleep in each other arms.
The next day Mike return back to Darwin while Kate return back to the academy for the next few days then she was flying down to Sydney where she was staying at Paul and Alice place over Christmas new year. While mike return back to Darwin.
Mike was on patrol till the third of January Then he flew up to Sydney since the wedding was on the fourth. When he walk off the plane he follow the other passengers into the terminal to where family and friends greet them. Mike look around and smile when Kate manage to get close to Mike they hug and kiss.
"Miss you mike"
"Miss you to Kate, come on let's get out of here"
"good idea" they walk over to where the bags are.
Mike pick up his two bags then he and Kate walk out of the air port with there arms around each other.
"Looking ford to tomorrow" mike asked
"Yes you"
"Yes, who got our wedding rings?"
"your dad got them and the minster got the marriage license"
"Great, are we heading to mum and dad place first"
"Nope, hotel"
"Why the hotel" Kate turn to him
"i want to spend couple of hours with you since you will be staying at your parent place for the night" mike smile
"i like the way you think Kate" They got into a taxi and headed to the Sheraton hotel.
When they arrived Mike follow Kate up to executive suite that they book a month ago. When they walk into the room mike was amaze by it. He put his bags on the couch as he look around
"wow"
"We made a great choice Mike" Kate said as she walk up to him wrapping her arms around his neck
"Yes you did" then they kiss just as mike wrap his arms around her waist.
"so two hours" mike said
"Yes two hours"
Kate started undoing the buttons on his shirt while kissing him. Mike started removing her clothes as well while they slowly walk towards the bed.
Two and half hours later Mike and Kate walk into Paul and Alice house. All of mike sisters and there family was there to greet them.
"Kate looking forward to tomorrow" Jane asked
"Yes I am"
"At least the weather is fine for it" Kelly said
"True" Mike said.
They all walk out to the back of the house where Paul got his large barbeque going and meat slowly cooking. There was table and chairs around the back lawn.
"Kate can you come in side for a minute" Alice asked
"sure" Kate follow Alice in side into the kitchen.
"what is it that you want to see me about" then Paul walk in and stood next to Alice.
"We got a surprise for you Kate" Alice said smiling
"turn around" Paul said. Kate turn around and was shock to see who walk into the kitchen
"Daddy"
"Kate" Kate step forward and hug him as she cried
"It ok sweetie" He rub his hand up and down her back till she pulled away
"but how"
"Kate" she turn to Alice
"Paul and I went to England after you and mike got engage. We went looking for your father, from what you could remember about him where you live. It wasn't hard to find him" Alice said
"We talk to your dad about you, even showed photo of you and mike engagement photograph. He didn't know where you and your mother went to" Kate turn to her father
"Sweetie they told me every thing about what happen to you and what you become. Kate sweetie you come along way and I'm prod of you of what you become"
"thanks daddy"
"We got a lot to talk about but that can wait till another time, but for now if you want me to tomorrow I would like to walk you down the isle and give you away that is if you want me to" Kate smile
"Yes I would love that daddy" they both hug.
"tomorrow there more surprises waiting"
"More what do you mean?"
"you will see, now how about you interduce to me my future son in law" He said smiling
"sure" then she turn to Paul and Alice.
She walk over to them and hug them both "thank you both for the surprise"
"We knew that you would love it"
"i do"
Then she turn and walk over to her father and held onto his hand then they walk out side and over to where mike is. Mike saw Kate walking out side holding a older man Hand. He look between them and wounder who he is
"mike"
"Kate are you ok"
"i am, lieutenant Mike Flynn this is retired rear admiral Edward McGregor, my father"
Mike look at Kate in shock then he look at the man and put his hand out. Edward put his out and they shook hands
"It a pleasure to meet you sir"
"Call me Ed son"
"Yes sir, Ed, call me Mike" Ed grin
"I heard a lot about you Mike"
"you have"
"Yes from your parents" then he put his hand on mike shoulder.
"son we need to talk"
"Lets go in side"
"alright" Mike look at Kate as he and Ed walk into the house to talk.
Kate was worried about what her father might say to mike. She walk over to a chair and sat down while waiting for both men to return. Alice walk over carrying two glasses of wine, she past one to Kate
"thanks" Kate said just as Alice sat down.
"don't worry Kate every thing will be fine"
"I hope so. Tell me how you and Paul found my father"
"when you told us that your father was in the navy and inherent building business from his late brother and where you use to live. Paul and I few over to England, went went to liver pool where you said you use to live. We asked around about your father building business and got an address and phone number. Paul called and we meet your father two days later. We ask him questions to make sure and we saw a photo of you as a little girl we knew it was you in the photo. Paul and I talk to your father for a week. We told him about your up bringing, even showed him the news paper articles court reports every thing that happen to you before you join the navy. He ask how we know you. We told him that you join the navy he was shock at first then smile. We show him photo of you in your uniform, he look so happy he said that my little girl" Alice said then she sip her wine.
"Paul told Ed how you and mike met and how far you came, how we meet for the first time. Every thing. He got on the defensive side when we told him that you and mike are together then we showed him your engagement photo. Paul told Ed about the engagement ring and you attending ADFA. He under stood and he is prod of you for what you have achieve the awards every thing"
"I know he prod of me Alice, I remember when I was little I remember running in to his office, he would be working so hard but stop to listen to me, I told him that I past my spelling and maths test he gives me a big smile and a hug telling me that he proud of me and he look at his desk then look at me, he said lets go and get some cake to celebrate. I said if there no cake dad how about ice cream. He laugh and says why not both" Kate said remembering the happy times.
"what about your mother"
"She argue with dad about me eating cake and ice cream since we had it two hours before dinner. But it was a small piece of cake or scoop of ice cream. When I tell her it is an award for passing my spelling or maths test, she yells at me and I run out of the kitchen crying every time. Dad always knew where I run to. He sit down next to me and I craw on to his lap for a hug. He always knew what to say to calm me down and cheer me up" Kate said as she sip her drink
"Well he still prod of you Kate"
"i know" They watch kids chasing each other around the yard. The adults were talking and laughing while drinking beer or wine.
