CH 12
Then they walk over to one group to talk to them then to another for the next hour before every one started heading to the ball room for dinner and dancing. When every one was seated the waiters showed up with there first course meal that mike and Kate choose. Then the minster said grace then every one started talking while eating and drinking.
"mike" he turn to Kate
"I spoke to dad before and it was his doing in the bar room and with the food and drinks"
"What did you say to him"
"I thank him after we talk about what he done but I under stand why he did it"
"Family" mike said
"Yes I said to him next time he planing on surprising us with some thing talk to us first. He agree and grand ma and grand dad told him off but I sorted it all out"
"that good is there any thing he change that we don't know about"
"yes, he added some thing in the desert he said it would be like old times and it a surprise"
"any idea what he talking about"
"no but knowing dad it could be any thing" Kate said smiling
"Has he change any thing else"
"Yes our wedding cake"
"what" mike was shock Kate put her hand on top of his
"i was shock and ask him what did he do. He added three more tiers to our cake cause of the family"
"six tiers"
"Yes mike six tiers"
"that a lot of cake" Kate laugh
"Yes it is mike" Mike and Kate kiss then return back to there first course.
Fifteen minutes later while the plates were taken away there was number of speeches and apologetic messages from the ones who couldn't be there. Then the main course came out for every one. Every one enjoyed there dinner.
After dinner Mike and Kate got up and went to see if every one enjoying them selves before walking over to the next table. Fifteen minutes later they return back to there table since it was time for more speeches, it was from one guest or two to share a story or two about Mike or Kate.
Every laugh at the different stories mainly about mike which Kate didn't mind. Then Kate family share some stories about what Kate was like when she was little and the things she got up to which has every one laughing. When there was no more speeches every one got up and mingle for twenty minutes then the desert came out.
The guests were confuse to why they got three plates each then when the waiters showed up to serve the bridal party. Kate was shock when she saw what was in the two plates then she look over to her father who was looking at her, He smile and gave her a nod. Kate got up from her seat and walk down to her father which confuse Mike and every one just as Ed stood up and hug her
"your remember dad"
"I never for got Kate" when they pulled back tears were falling down her cheeks.
Ed got his hanky out and dab the tears away "Hey you don't want to ruin your make up"
"It water prof dad, thank you"
"Go back to your Seat, Mike getting worried" Kate smile
"i will" then she kiss his cheek before walking over to where mic phone is
"Can I have every one attention please" Every one turn to Kate
"If your wondering about the chocolate and vanilla sponge cake with caramel frosting and strawberry ice cream with chopped nuts on top. There a story behind it... when I was little I remember running in to dad office, he would be working so hard but stop to listen to me, I told him that I past my spelling and maths test he gives me a big smile and a hug telling me that he proud of me and he look at his desk then look at me, he said lets go and get some cake to celebrate. I said if there no cake dad how about ice cream. He laugh and says why not both" Kate look at her father smiling at the memory.
"When I show dad my report card he read what it says then he open his personal phone book and call our favorite restaurant in town to book a table for that night for dinner. He knew what I like even through they don't have it on the menus they get it for him. he tells who ever he talking to he says to them... This is for my little girl she deserves a special reward she got an A on her report card and I'm prod of her... he did every time till... my mother divorce my dad and she brought me here to Australia. Dad thank you for remembering our special treats that I have when I was little and now you know the story behind it. To dad thanks you for doing this it shows that he is proud of what I have done, so enjoy" Kate put the mic phone back in it spot then she turn to see Mike standing there.
He pulled her into his arms. Every one watch what was happening and smile then they started eating there desert. When mike and Kate pulled apart.
"I remember you telling me about your rewards when you were little Kate, soon as I saw what was in the plates and you went to hug your dad, he wanted to share that reward with every one here"
"I know, it his little surprise"
"Yes it is, come on lets eat the ice cream before it melts" Kate kiss mike
"I love you" Kate said
"i love you to" Mike put his hand on to Kate back as they walk back to the bridal table and sat down.
They ate the ice cream first since it was starting to melt then they ate the other deserts while talking and seeing every one else enjoying it also. After wards every one got up and move around talking to other guests for the next hour. Mike and Kate went to talk to other guests for a while.
Hour later every one watch mike and Kate dance to there wedding song 'I swear' from 'all 4 one' Every one watch them dance slowly around the dance floor as they look into each other eyes, kiss and rubbing noses together as they mouth the words to each other till the song finish.
Every one clap as they kiss at the end of the song. Then the bridal party walk onto the dance floor then a new song started. Every one watch them dance for a minute then the music stop. Every one was wondering if some thing happen to the music.
They look at the DJ when different music started then every one was shock to see the bridal party doing same dancing to the music then a new song started and the bridal party did a different dance which cause every one to clap and laugh when they relies what was happening.
When it was over few minutes later every one clap and cheer them on. They all took a bow then they went to pick some one to dance with. Mike dance with his mother while Kate dance with her father.
"Kate how did you, mike and bridal team manage to practice those dance moves before tonight?"
"It wasn't easy dad. I practice with two of mike grooms men while mike practice with Jane, Jo and two of his grooms men who station up in Darwin. Then Jo and Jane show the others the same moves. It the first time we done it together tonight"
"Well I'm impress"
"thanks dad"
"Who idea was it"
"Jane one of her friends got married last year and they did what we did but the music and dance moves were different"
"We you sure shock every one here tonight" Kate smile
"We knew it would" When the song finish Kate left to go to the bathroom while every one else was talking, drinking or dancing.
Two hours later every one watch Mike and Kate cut there six tier wedding cake and kiss for the photographer and family and friends who brought camera with them. Then Mike and Kate walk to the dance floor since some one put a chair on It. Kate sat down with Mike on one knee in front of her.
The guys was cheering mike on as he lift Kate leg onto his leg then he slowly move the skirt up exposing Kate leg till he saw the blue garter. He lean over as he raise Kate leg till he got it between his teeth and slide it down her leg and off. Then he took out of his mouth and raise it causing more cheers while Kate lowered her dress.
Then mike stood up and held out his hand for Kate to stand up. Once she stood up and step a side Mike kiss her then turn to every one
"Ok single men I know you been waiting for this moment so come on"
the guys got on the dance floor while mike got up on the chair and turn around so his back is to them then he flick it over his shoulder. He turn to see guys on top of each other as they try to grab the garter.
Mike got off the chair just as the guys stood up till one of them raise his hand holding the garter which cause a lot of cheers and laughter. Mike help Kate up onto the chair then her brides maid pass her a bouquet just as all the single women were on the dance floor
"Ok ready" Kate said
"Yes" all the women yelled out so she throw it over her shoulder then manage to turn around to see one of her cousins caught it.
Every one clap and cheered just as mike help Kate of the chair. Then some one move the chair away when music started so mike and Kate started dancing just as the ones who caught the bouquet and garter started dancing then others join in as well.
Half and hour later waiters walk out carrying trays of finger food for late night supper as well cut up weeding cake since plates were place on the tables and a trolley appeared for hot tea or coffee for the ones who want it. While every one was having some thing to eat or drink, mike and Kate were dancing to a slow song.
"It been a great day" Mike said
"Yes it has been, every one enjoyed them selves"
"True so how are you feeling Kate"
"Why" Kate saw the look on his face which made her smile
"Well since every one else is enjoying them selves how about you and I head to our room" Kate smile
"i like that idea, why not" Mike look around the room then back to Kate
"I'll leave first then he follow a couple minutes later"
"you don't want them to know"
"no do you"
"no, why not" They kiss and held each other close till the song was over.
Kate went get a drink mike Mike left the ball room. Kate waited for a couple of minutes before leaving her self. Kate met mike at the elevators since the doors open. They step in and the doors close. Mike push the button to the floor where there suite is then he pulled Kate into his arms. They hug and kiss.
"Kate I know we couldn't a ford a honey moon, well not now"
"i know, I under stand mike but next year for our first wedding anniversary we could go then"
"i like that idea my self" the elevator stop and the doors open.
Mike and Kate walk out of the elevator and down to there hotel suite. When they walk into the room and the door close. Mike pulled Kate into his arms and kiss her.
"Need any help getting out of the dress"
"Yes please"
Kate turn around moving her vail over her shoulder. Mike undid the buttons and zip of Kate dress. When done he kiss her neck which cause Kate to step away and turn to him
"I'll be right back" Kate said then she turn and walk into the bathroom and close the door.
Mike smile so he got the bed sorted out, open the bottle of champagne and got out of his uniform. He pick up the white silk boxers that his grooms men got for him. He remember that they gave it to him as a gift that morning at breakfast. Once he was change and his uniform was put away he waited for Kate.
Kate got out of her dress and put it back in it bag same with the petty coat. Then she remove her vail and head piece then put them away. Then she remove the necklace, earrings and bracelet. Once they were put away Kate then remove the make up and undid her hair and put a brush through it.
Then she remove the rest of her clothing and put on the sexy out fit that Jane brought for her to wear. Once she was dress, she smile when she look in the mirror then she walk to the door and open it and turn off the light.
Mike got his back to Kate when she walk out the door. He turn around and stop when he saw Kate wearing a white and lace robe
"wow" Kate try not to laugh
"what he asked
"silk boxers mike"
"Gift from the grooms men"
"I see that what I'm wearing got some affect on you" Mike look down to see bodge in his boxers then he look up to Kate and grin
"what can I say Kate you look very sexy in that robe"
"thank you" She walk over to mike and wrap her arms around his neck as he wrap his arms around her waist as they kiss
"i wounder what under this robe" Mike said as he move his hands to the tie and pulled it
"there only one way to find out" When the tie was lose and fallen apart.
Mike pull the robe off Kate shoulders and onto the floor then he stood back to see that she was wearing a white see through barbie doll out fit with matching underwear.
"I like what I see"
"you do" Kate asked
"yes"
then he step ford and pull the silk bow that between her breasts till they came apart then he pull them off her shoulders as he kiss her neck and shoulder then he kiss her lips and pick her up in bridal stile and turn around and walk over to the bed. He lay her on the bed then he kiss her as he lay on top.
When he pulled back he look into her eyes "i love you Kate Flynn" Kate smile
"i love you Mike Flynn" then he kiss her once more.
They slowly explore each other bodies as well remove the boxers and panties then they made slow passionate love that night as husband and wife. They drank the champagne and ate the strawberries and made love again before they slowly fell asleep with Kate snuggling up to mike side with smiles on there faces.
The next day mike and Kate spent the whole time in bed, only leaving to answer the door for room service and going to the bathroom. One Monday morning after they check out of the hotel they went to Paul and Alice place so Kate could leave her wedding dress there and pick up her bag before she and mike left to catch there flight to Darwin. Paul and Alice wasn't home when they arrived but knew where the spear key is.
When they arrived in Darwin, they headed to mike apartment to sort out there bags then went into town to get late lunch and did some shopping before returning back to mike place where they spent the next few days alone since mike leaving for his patrol on Saturday.
When they went shopping Kate and mike got Jane sexy barbie doll out fit in purple since Kate found out at the wedding that it was Jane husband favorite color and had it sent to Jane. Then they got the guys navy blue silk boxer shorts and had them sent to the guys.
On Saturday morning Kate and Mike was at the guard house when Jane showed up in her car "mike, Kate" they turn and smile when they saw who walk quickly over to them
"Jane" they said at the same time
"Kate we need to talk" Jane said when she gave Kate a hug then Mike
"Ok how about walk with us and see Mike off then we can talk on the way back"
"sure" Kate and mike show the guard there ID in which the guard saluted them which they did in return
"she with us" mike said
"Yes sir"
"come on" Kate said smiling.
They walk down to the wharf with mike and Kate got there arms around each other.
"so how was your short honeymoon" Jane asked smiling
"it was great how was the party"
"good, I got all your wedding gifts at my place. I can bring them around later"
"How about after seeing Mike off I'll help you" Kate said
"that a great idea. Now who idea was it to send me that purple barbie doll out fit" Kate and mike grin
"Why" Kate asked
"Brad saw it and wanted me to try it on"
"Ah so what happen" Kate asked
"i put it on that night which was a Wednesday the same day I received the package"
"and" mike asked
"It was like our honeymoon all over again" she said grinning
"Really" Kate said
"Yes, I told mum what you two did she laugh and said it must been revenge or one way to thank me. That reminds me Kate did you wear it" Kate and mike smile gotten even bigger
"Yes"
"and"
"I love it and it didn't last long on Kate" mike said
"oh my god, you rip it off her"
"no he didn't but did you know that his grooms men got him white silk boxer shorts" Jane laugh
"Yeah Brad told me did he wear them"
"Yes and they didn't last long on him either" Jane laugh
"You two must be coming sex addicts"
"Only when I wear the sexy out fits Jane he can't help him self, it turns him on" Jane laugh
"It a man thing Kate"
"I know, I remembering your sisters telling me the same thing" They talk and laugh till they stop in front of the patrol boat.
The crew greeted Mike and congratulated mike and Kate on there wedding. Mike and Kate hug and kiss. "See you in two months Mike" Kate said
"I'll be looking ford to it Kate and your letters"
"Same here" they kiss once more before mike walk onto the ship.
Kate said her good byes to the crew just as she and Jane walk back the way they came "It going to be hard on your both" Jane said
"i know but I'm looking ford to seeing him again and of course two months of catching up at the same time" Jane laugh
"your right about that"
Kate stayed for a week at Mike place sorting out the wedding gifts and sending thank you messages to every one before she left to fly back to Sydney where she stay at Paul and Alice place for few days to get things sorted out before flying to Canberra to attend her second year at ADFA.
Once Kate was settle in her room she went to the gym to do some working out and then went for a swim since it was in the afternoon when she arrived there.
The next morning Kate showed up to class wearing her wedding and engagement ring. When Kate wasn't in class or training she was studying either in her room or in the library. When she received letters from Mike it made her smile then she received a package from the photographer who did the photos and wedding video for her and mike.
When she open it up she saw a letter so she open it and read what it said. It was about the wedding photos and the personal one that she had done when she was down in Sydney. When she close the letter she pick up the up side down laminated photo and turn it over.
When she saw it she grin. "cold showers mike, a lot of cold showers"
It was photo of Kate partly lying on a sheep skin rug wearing the white out fit from there wedding night with one shoulder expose only showing the thin strap. She was also wearing the necklace he got for her for Christmas.
She showed part of her body looking up to the camera showing part of her breast that covered in the lace part of the night wear. Kate got her hair and make up done by a pro before having the photo taken. It even showed Kate left hand with her wedding and engagement ring.
Kate look from the photo is hungry sexy look with her tongue on the side of her lips like she licking her lips. Kate smile at it then she put it down then she open wedding album. She smile when she saw the photos which was in eight by ten.
She look through them smiling at them. She wrote what ones she wouldn't mind having in large for one of the photo albums and which ones would be good to send to the family and bridal party since there was number of photos taken. She turn to page and stop at one photo it was when she and mike were alone for a few minutes, she remember that time and how that photo caught the light coming off them both.
Then she saw another photo of when they turn to the photographer when they were smiling. Kate smile at the different ones and she wrote down different numbers till she finish then she put every thing away before leaving to get some dinner as well make a phone call on her way to the mess hall.
Two weeks later it was a Friday afternoon. Mike walk towards the accommodation block not knowing that Kate was two minutes behind him. He walk up to her room and knock on the door. When there was no answer he look at his watch then turn around when he smile when he saw her walking towards him reading a book
"I hope you not planing on studying the whole weekend" Kate stop and look up in shock then she smile
"mike" she step ford closing the book in hand then she kiss him
"you forgot about this weekend Kate"
"no" Kate got keys out and unlock her door and open it then she walk in with mike behind her.
She put her books on her desk then turn to mike then she wrap her arms around his neck and gave him a passionate kiss which he did in return
"Mmm now that much better" Mike said making Kate laugh
"I bet, let me get change so we can get out of here" Mike turn around and walk to the door and close it then he turn back to Kate
"Need any help there"
"mike, I know what you are like, so while I'm getting change" she got the package out and then she got the album out and pass it to him
"Look through them, I've written numbers down on which ones I would like to have in large and which ones to go to our families"
"Ok" Mike open the album looking at the photos while Kate went and got change
"Kate you look beautiful in these photos"
"so do you" mike grin he look at the photos as well the ones Kate written down on piece of paper.
When Kate was change she step ford taking the paper out of his hand and put it in the album as a marker then close it. Mike look up at her
"Take it with us"
"ok ready"
"Yes let's get out of here"
Mike put the book back in his package while Kate pick up her bag then they walk out of Kate room with her closing and locking the door then they walk out together with there arms around each other while talking.
"which hotel did you book for this weekend Kate?"
"the Burbury hotel on burbury close, it not far from here"
"Why that hotel"
"King size bed, large walk in shower" Kate said grinning
"you think my back needs cleaning" Mike said smiling
"May be" they walk to the car park and got into Mike rental car then he drove to the hotel since Kate written down on how to get there.
When they arrived at the hotel and was in there suite and bags on the couch. Mike pulled Kate into his arms and kiss her.
"so shall we order room service" Mike suggested
"I book a table for tonight"
"oh" He raise his eye brows
"We both need to eat Mike, I know I do" mike smile gotten wider and Kate notice it
"mike we had three days of fitness tests and fire arms training, today was the last day of it"
"Oh, well then let go and get some dinner" Kate kiss him
"Why not" they walk out of there hotel room and walk down stairs to the buffer room restaurant.
Mike and Kate spent over an hour at the restaurant enjoying dinner and wine while talking about different things including mail from the family. When they return back to there room they removed each other clothes and manage to get into bed and spent the evening making passionate love which they both miss.
The next day they went shopping as well look through the album picking out which photos with be in large and sent to family and bridal party. Kate showed Mike the one where they were getting married and having one of the two of them alone above in the sky.
The one where the photographer took of them with out them realizing it cause they got there arms around each other waist smiling at the camera when they turn to the photographer. After they choice the ones they wanted done, Kate rewritten the page number and which photos to be done, they did it that morning while in bed waiting for breakfast room service as well after breakfast since they were posting back the album with the letter back to the photographer when they were in town. That night they ordered room service and had an early night.
The next morning they spent the morning in bed as well had breakfast in bed. Hour after having breakfast and snuggling in each other arms they got up and went to have a shower like the did the day before.
They kiss and made love while in there before getting out and dress. They pack there bags before leaving the room. Mike paid for the room, food and drinks before he and Kate left.
They went to a park where they walk through it with there arms around each other while talking. Then they went to a cafe for lunch and did some more shopping and site seeing and had dinner in town. After dinner mike drove Kate back to the academy and walk her back to her room where they spent half an hour together snuggling on her bed. When it was time for mike to leave she gave him an envelope
"Kate what this"
"Open it when you leave for your next patrol"
"Kate" She step ford and wrap her arms around his neck and kiss him
"It nothing bad"
"Are you sure"
"yes"
"alright, you know I'm away for six weeks"
"i know, love you"
"love you to" they kiss once more before mike left since he was catching a flight back to Darwin.
Kate sat down at her desk to do some reading till mike called when he arrives home. Which he did do few hours later.
Two days later HMAS Albany left port for it six week patrol. The crew talk about what they did on there shore leave.
"sir what did you do on your leave" one of the sailors asked Mike
"I went to Canberra and spent the weekend with my wife" mike said smiling
"How is midshipmen McGregor doing X" CO asked.
Mike turn to him "she done great she top in her class and corrected one of the instructors"
"she didn't" CO asked
"she did sir" then others share what they did on there shore leave.
Mike then remember the envelope so he left the bridge and walk down to his cabin where he got the envelope out of his bag and open it up he pulled out the photograph which cause his mouth open in shock then he saw a note in the envelope so he pulled it out and read what it said
'cold showers mike, love and miss you, love Kate' Mike smile at the note and look at the photo.
"you are in trouble Kate" He hid it away and put the envelope and note back in his bag then he left to get a brew.
When Kate received a letter from Mike she smile when she open it and pull out his letter and read what it said. He was telling her how his patrol been and that he heard from other family members. Kate smile when he told her about a joke that was played on one of the crew members which made Kate laugh. He said in his letter that he open the envelope and saw the photo and note.
'Kate you are in trouble when I see you next, cause of that photo I had to have cold showers in the morning. You look hot and sexy and the look on your face, Dam just thinking about that photo, I'll have to go and have another cold shower after I've written to you' Kate laugh when she read that part.
When she finish reading the letter she reply back to him leaving sexy comments in her messenger knowing what it would do to him. When she finish writing to him she put it in an envelope and put his name and address on it then a stamp.
She walk out of her room and down where the post box is and post it then she return back to her room to study for a test that was coming up in couple of days.
