Cinder started the fight by arching her saber over her head and slashing it down, sending a diagonal wave of fire towards Team Darkblue. They jumped aside to dodge the attack, but before they could retaliate, Cinder conducted a similar attack again, this time waving her saber in a horizontal line. Sonic jumped ahead of his allies and ran in a circle. Realizing his plan, Rouge hid behind Omega, who clawed into the ground for additional stability, as Sonic created a tornado. The rotating wind sucked the flames of Cinder´s attack into it, extinguishing them. The pyromanic Fall Maiden rammed her sabers into the ground as she felt the tornado pulling on her, but Sonic run around it faster to increase it´s strength. Cinder´s arms ached as it became more and more difficult to keep her hold. Despite that, she was smirking.
So your power makes you control the wind, huh?, she thought while examining the tornado. Unfortunately for you, `hero´, two can play that came.
Cinder closed her eyes and focused. Her weapons glowed as she directed heat trough them into the ground. But that wasn't the only thing she did.
One moment the tornado was raging on in the hall, then next, it suddenly just dissipated.
Sonic could have created another one, if he had just kept running, but he was so confused that he suddenly stopped.
"Wait, what?"
It was then when Cinder's other part of the plan acted up, as the ground under Sonic started to glow. He noticed and started running, but he was to close and the blast send him flying trough the air. Rouge spread her wings and flew after the blue hedgehog. Cinder took the two Mobians in sight and created flaming projectiles around them, but her focus was disrupted by Omega shooting electricity towards her.
The Fall Maiden´s organic eye widened and burning phantom pain spread across her neck area, the same area where the woman that called herself Cinder´s adoptive mother had used the Lighting Dust collar. And now the same kind of lightning was racing towards her, fired by the same machine that took her chance at revenge away and hunted her trough Mystic Jungle like an animal.
In her panic and rage, Cinder quickly focused all of the projectiles she created in front of her and fired.
Yellow lighting meet orange flames and explosions lit up the hall. Smoke obscured Omega´s sight and he wanted to switch to infrared, when Rouge landed besides him with Sonic. The blue hedgehog had gotten some slight burns from the explosion.
"Are you alright, Sonic?"
The speedster cracked a smile. "You serious? I´m getting blasted and literally bombarded since I was eleven. This was nothing to me."
Clank!
Mobians and robot looked forward upon the sound. The smoke dissipated, revealing it to be one of Cinder's sabers falling on the ground. The hand that had let go of the weapon was clutching her neck, while the Fall Maiden was breathing heavily.
"Why… didn't I just… take control like with the tornado…", the black haired human muttered to herself. "I could´ve… no, I can…"
"Yo, Cyborg-Azula, you alright?", Sonic asked, he and the other confused by their enemy´s behavior.
Cinder snapped out of her muttering and glowered towards Team Darkblue. She picked up her saber.
"You should be worried about yourself!",she hissed, alongside the flames on her weapons blades. Their flickering lights created shadows that snaked around her face that, alongside the hetero chromatic glow of her eyes and the sinister look inside of them, gave Cinder a slightly demonic appearance. But Rouge, Omega and Sonic weren't intimidated. Not in the slightest. They encountered and fought worse.
"Nice trick, but I had my fair share of beings and people throwing flames and explosions at me. Speaking of, you're the Fall Maiden and your last name is even Fall, which is so ridiculous that it has to be made up, but you are a pyromagiacian. Wouldn't that better fit with the Summer Maiden?"
"You´re tougher than you look", admitted Cinder. "But it is clear, even with Ruby by your side, that you have no REAL knowledge about Remnant and the potential of its powers. Haven´t you wondered what happened to your tornado? Then again, you look more stupid than the average hedgehog crawling trough the dirt it belongs to."
"Hey, no insulting my non-sapient brethren!"
Sonic ran towards the twisted Fall Maiden, jumped and flew curled up towards her.
Omega opened up parts of his body and fired missiles at Cinder, while Rouge pulled and threw out some bombs, with heart symbols on them, out alongside him.
Cinder ejected a strong gust of wind that hurled the projectiles and the Spindash back.
Sonic uncurled and managed to land on his feet, but he and Rouge staggered because of the explosions from the blown away missiles. Omega´s stance remained solid and he gave Cinder, even if he couldn't outwardly show it, a puzzled look.
"DATA OF TAILS AND MINE ACCOUNT WITH OUR FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH YOU DOES NOT INDICATE THE ABILITY TO CONTROL THE PHENOMENA KNOWN AS WIND."
"Because up until know I didn't need to show the full potential of the Fall Maiden's power. Their magic not only enhances my Semblance, it also allows control over wind and weather!"
To emphasize this, Cinder held up a hand. Dark storm clouds formed under the stone ceiling. Thunder growled within them. And then lighting bolts struck.
Sonic and Rouge braced themselves to dodge, but the electrical charges were lashing out wildly and didn't seem very targeted. Only Omega took a hit, but the Dust inside him absorbed the energy and empowered the robot. His eyes lit up.
"IT APPEARS THE FULL POTENTIAL OF YOUR POWERS IS ONLY GOOD FOR SHOWING OF. I RECOMMEND YOU THE ACT KNOWN AS PRACTICING YOUR AIM."
After everything they've heard about and seen from Cinder, Team Darkblue expected her get angry over the robot´s remark. To their confusion, Cinder instead grinned slyly.
"I´ll admit, I do need more experience with my power. But it doesn't really matter in this case, because I wasn't aiming towards any of you."
Several Shadow Androids, activated by the electrical discharges, began stirring within their pods. One by one they opened their black, glassy eyes with red irises and burst out of their pods. They looked around aimlessly, until Cinder snapped her mechanical hand, causing it to send a signal to all of the activated Androids. They turned their heads to the one that had awakened them. Cinder pointed towards her enemies, the Shadow Androids following her fingers direction.
"Listen and obey: Exterminate them!"
Immediately the horde charged forward. Omega opened fire. Rouge and Sonic taking on battle ready stances. The latter muttered with a disgruntled look on his face, "And here I thought I'd be done fighting Fake Shadows."
Fortunately, as it turned out, the Androids didn't posses the Chaos abilities of their phantom counterpart or the original Shadow. But they were nonetheless though and there were many of them.
Sonic threw Spindashes against the Androids. Rouge dodged one's punch and responded with a hard kick to the it's face.
The fake hedgehogs barely flinched from the attacks.
"ROUGE. SONIC." They looked towards Omega. Things looked brighter on his side. His electrical shots caused the Shadow Androids to short circuit and twitch wildly.
"THE INFERIOR MODELS ARE VULNERABLE WHEN THEIR SYSTEMS ARE OVERLOADED. I ADVISE YOU TO TAKE THEM DOWN WHILE I STUN THEM."
Sonic and Rouge nodded. In unison Team Darkblue worked, the overwhelming forces of the Shadow Androids thinning.
Cinder gritted her teeth.
How did they manage to come up with a plan to deal with them so fast? I was told they barely work together.
She looked at the trio in disdain. Especially Omega. She send another signal towards some Shadow Androids.
"Tear that tin can apart!"
The bio mechanical creatures focused on the last E-Series robot. Despite him shooting rapidly the Android copies of his friend started to close in. Omega was forced to switch from wide to close range combat. He retracted his guns for his claws and charged them with the Dust´s lighting. The combat robot slashed trough his foes, filling the air Android bits and electrical static. Cinder eyed the E-Series robot's electric attacks nervously. She tried to fight against the memories they brought back and tried to focus. Wanted to cancel out her enemies ability with her magic, just like she did with the tornado. But…
Crackle… crackle…
You should just obey your mother young lady!
CRACKLE!
Cinder clutched her head. It was so hard to ignore!
Sonic kicked another android off when he saw that Cinder was upset by something and her defense was slipping. Since their tactic was already falling apart with the Shadow Androids focusing more on Omega now, he decided to take the opportunity. He jumped at Rouge´s side to make her aware of Cinder and then pointed towards the swarmed Omega. The bat nodded to show that she understood and flew towards her friend. Sonic meanwhile run in Cinders direction. Androids attacked him, but he evaded all of their punches and Spindashes.
The Fall Maiden took notice of the approaching blue blur to late and was hit. Her Aura flickered. She growled in frustration.
She had long since left behind all those annoying fears of her childhood, she shouldn't let them distract her now! She now controlled storms and lighting with her powers and would not allow anyone to humiliate her with electricity again! No… no one should ever humiliate her ever again in any way!
Not by a silver eyed child that didn´t belong in Beacon, not by some bootleg version of an Atlesian Paladin and definitely not by an oversized rodent!
Cinder raised her sabers and let lighting hit them from her thunderclouds. She started slashing at Sonic.
He dodged the electrical charged and flaming blades. Jumping, ducking or moving sideways. He could tell that Cinder, despite being clearly frustrated by something, had some skill with her weapons. But it wasn't helping her much, since she clearly lacked the experience fighting someone of Sonic´s size, speed and nimbleness. The blue hedgehog jumped aside another attack and kicked the weapon out of Cinder´s hand. She cursed and used her now free robot hand to direct the attention of all of the Shadow Androids to her and Sonic.
"HELP ME!"
Immediately they left Omega and Rouge alone and proceeded to pummel onto the blue hedgehog. Having gotten rid of her opponent for now, Cinder used her magic to fly high into the air to get a better view of the battlefield.
Most of the released Androids had been destroyed by now, and Rouge and Omega hurried towards the rest that kept Sonic under their wraps. The bio mechanical hedgehogs had buried the organic one under a mountain of dark gray and yellow.
Even with our allies on their way, how do you plan to run your way out of this situation, Sonic the Hedgehog, she thought smirking.
She got her answer with a blinding white flash. Sonic appeared at Omega´s and Rouge´s side, red Chaos Emerald in hand, and nodded towards the Shadow Androids that were still clustered into a nice, sizable target.
"Thanks for focusing them all on one place", Sonic called out. Despite some bruises he had gotten from being buried under a bunch of hostiles, he still grinned, while his teammates destroyed the Androids with rockets and heart bombs.
He… I throw everything I have at him and… he still smiles? Is this all just some joke to him?!
Cinder sent a mental command to her thundercloud. Lighting flashed once again and more Shadow Androids were activated. Team Darkblue was immediately confronted with more opponents. Omega tried to target Cinder with his cannons, but several Androids attached themselves to his arms and pulled them down.
"Sonic, you help Omega out this time. I´ll try my chances with her!"
"Got it!"
Rouge managed to push an advancing bio mechanical hedgehog off with a strong enough kick in the face and flew high into the air, out of reach of the Shadow Androids. She flew toward Cinder, who created several slashes of made of flame and electricity from her remaining saber. In addition, the Fall Maiden incited lightning strikes on Rouge. Dodging the elemental attacks to the best she could muster, the bat got close enough to throw a heart bomb towards Cinder.
She knocked the object aside with the flat of her saber, causing the bomb to explode far away from her. Rouge threw several more bombs at Cinder, she once again let out a gust of wind and hurled the explosives back. The heart bombs detonated at various parts of the hall. Pieces of pods, Androids, and droplets of green liquid flew through the air.
"You´re really are a stubborn one, not making it easy to hit you," said the Rouge.
"The same goes to you, mainly because of those wings of yours. Let's see how well you hold up when I cut them off from you."
Cinder let go of her saber, which floated freely in the air. The Fall Maiden focused her energy and multiplied the weapon. Rouge faced a swarm of flying sabers that she had to dodge hastily.
Things didn't look much better on the ground. Sonic and Omega fought their way through the crowd of Androids. The blue hedgehog saw a fake Shadow curl up for a Spindash.
"Not with me pal." Sonic mimicked his opponent's tactics and two spinning orbs, one blue and one grayish black, slammed into each other. The curled up, bio mechanical hedgehog flew away in a high arc and crashed into a capsule. This sight gave Sonic an idea. He lured another Shadow Android to him (which wasn't very difficult) and made it stand with its back facing toward Cinder. The real hedgehog waved in a `get over here´ gesture and said, "Come on. Show your ridiculous version of a Spindash. You're such an inferior faker in comparison to me."
Something inside the Android reacted to Sonic's taunt and the fake Shadow rushed at the Speedster. Sonic returned its Spindash and hurled the coiled Android straight at Cinder. With the Fall Maiden´s attention at Rouge, and directing all of her blades towards her, she noticed incoming orb too late. She was hit and became disoriented. It caused her to lower towards the ground, into Sonic´s reach. Sonic raced towards her, plucked through the Shadow Android with a Boost and jumped into the air just in front of the dazed Fall Maiden. From there, he used several homing attacks on Cinder. Her Aura flickered violently and she writhed with a groan. Sonic wanted to repeat this tactic, but an Android jumped at him from behind, pulling him down. While real and fake hedgehog wrestling on the ground, Cinder managed to stabilize her position in the air. She glared at Sonic with displeasure and hate. The black-haired woman aimed her burning hand at the blue hedgehog, who was still busy with his bio mechanical opponent. Cinder was about to burn Sonic to ash when the back of her head exploded in pain.
The flying sabers had fallen to the ground as Cinder shifted her focus away from Rouge, and the bat had seized the opportunity. She kicked the pyromaniac hard in the back of her head and made her stagger forward. Cinder growled and turned around, hands on fire, but that's what the bat had been waiting for. She covered Cinder's face with a series of rapid kicks.
"Instead of my wings, are my shoes satisfactory for you?", snarked the G.U.N. agent, side-kicking her opponent in the temple. Cinder crashed into the ground, struggling to get back on her feet.
"You... will... pay…", she mumbled dazedly, her head pounding from the force of all those brutal kicks. She tried throwing fire at Rouge, but had forgotten about Omega.
With his teammates attention on the main threat, the combat robot was swarmed by the Shadow Androids. They became more than he could cover and started grabbing and pulling Omega´s entire frame down. The last of the E-Series buckled and tried to free himself, fighting like an enraged bull against a pride of lions. But the bio mechanical mass buried him under it. Still, Omega refused to give up. He wanted to continue fighting, show Eggman and his crazed pyromaniac ally their inferiority, aid his comrades and free Shadow. The green Chaos Emerald inside of him reacted to his desires and glowed, pumping more energy into the lighting Dust and giving Omega additional strength. In an explosion of bright yellow electricity he threw all of the Shadow Androids of from him, their shapes charred and burned beyond recognition. Even other Androids that hadn't pilled onto Omega, were close enough to get destroyed by stray discharges. The combat robot looked around and saw Cinder about to attack Rouge. He started charging towards the Fall Maiden, getting an additional speed boost by activating his jets. Omega smashed into Cinder, rammed her sideways with his shoulder.
The Fall Maiden was thrown far away, feeling like she was hit by a fright train. The only reason why her bones weren't pulverized was because of her Aura tanking the massive amounts of damage, of course reducing it further in return. In mid-air she managed to recover halfway and hovered just above the pods. Her eyes wandered towards Team Darkblue, seeing Sonic freeing himself again with Chaos Control, and aiding Omega and Rouge in the destruction of the Shadow Androids.
"I don't get it? How can you beat me despite my power? You. Are. NOTHING!"
Omega replied, "LOGICALLY SPEAKING, THE HIGHEST FORM OF POWER IS USELESS IF ITS USER LACKS THE MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL MATURITY TO USE IT PROPERLY."
Sonic and Rouge had to suppress their laughter. Cinder, on the other hand, took this statement without any humor after seeing her plan fall apart. She was sure she would show them, using the full extent of her power and the Shadow Androids, but these vermin and rust bucket just shrugged everything of! And now that tin can implied she was nothing but a toddler with a temper tantrum? Like… like…
… and yet you act like a defiant child. Its embarrassing to watch…
She let out a cry of anger and frustration. To show Mobius her hatred against its residents that constantly belittle her, even though she was the one with power, the one that was chosen and worthy of it by taking it!
Cinder´s storm clouds responded to her emotions, thunder booming trough the entire hall. The air filled with an electrical buzz. His A.I. quickly calculating the following scenario and a countermeasure for it, Omega yelled, "TO ME!"
Sonic, grabbing Rouge by the shoulder, used his speed to reach the robot.
FLASH!
Everything was lit up in a blinding white light. Once it dissapeared, the damage Cinder had done could be seen. All the capsules that were hit where destroyed alongside their contents, reduced to charred and smoking messes.
Team Darkblue on the other hand…
Rouge and Sonic had instinctively hunkered below Omega, who acted as a lightning rod and intercepted most of the lightning for them with his raised arm. The reason he didn't share the same fate as the Shadow Androids was because of his Chaos Energy enhanced Dust. It was overloaded with energy from all the lighting, which the combat robot made use of. He transformed his Claws to guns, holding the barrels close to each other while they slowly started to rotate. Crackling energy build up inside of them.
"YOUR OUTBURST ONLY UNDERSCORES MY PREVIOUS STATEMENT."
E-123 Omega fired a massive beam of yellow lighting towards Cinder. The Fall Maiden´s organic eye widened. She tried to gather her magic for a counter attack, but she was to slow. The beam enveloped her whole, burning trough her Aura. Cinder screamed as she was lost in the pain, be it from the present or the past, brought forth by her memories.
Finally, in a massive explosion, she was thrown away and landed somewhere in the farther reaches of the hall. Because Cinder's lighting attack also destroyed many lights of the hall, shadows swallowed her flailing body, making her disappear from sight.
Sonic looked with wide eyes and an open mouth from the direction the Fall Maiden went flying to Omega.
The combat robot just calmly lowered his arms, retracting his guns, and stated: "THREAT HAS BEEN NEUTRALIZED."
"I´ll say…" Rouge said in awe. Despite having a lot of experience with him, the robot surprised her time and time again in how he expresses his drive for destruction. There was a reason why Omega was in that regard only second to the Ultimate Lifeform himself, Sha- wait a minute, Shadow!
Panicked, Team Darkblue searched around. To their relief it turned out that Shadow´s capsule was one of the few that weren't hit by the rage induced lightning storm. The trio walked towards the hedgehog in stasis. It was time to finish what they came for.
Reaching the central capsule, they saw a pad beside it. Some code was required to free Shadow. Rouge sighed.
"Great, after having to deal with that witch we now have to do some hacking in order to-"
Omega stepped up to the pad and stabbed it with his finger. Smoke raised in the air and the machine sparked as the E-Series robot channeled some electricity into it. Wires, that clung to Shadow´s form, let go and the capsule was emptied from the green liquid.
"...or we can do that."
Steam hissed trough the air, as the capsule opened. Weakly, Shadow stumbled out from it. Rouge hurried to catch and steady him. The black hedgehog groaned and started to open his eyes.
"What is…"
He startled once he got a clear picture of his surrounding. Rouge, who was still steadying him, Omega and Sonic looking at him in concern, while they were all standing in what looked like a battlefield inside a cave.
"What is going on? Where am I?"
"Hey, Shads. You all there? No Amnesia this time?"
Sonic´s ebony colored counterpart scowled at him.
"I told you several times not to call me that."
"Yep, you´re alright."
"Shadow, it is so good to see you", Rouge sighed in relief. He turned to look at her and started to open his mouth to say something. But then he noticed the bruises and burns she had gotten from her battle. His expression softens.
"Are you alright?" he asked.
"Oh, you know me. Getting in trouble here and there, but I wouldn't be the worlds best jewel thief if I couldn't find my way out of it."
Shadow rolled his eyes, but Rouge being Rouge made him relax a bit. Still, he had questions.
"What happened? How did I get here? The last thing I remember is-" The black hedgehog was interrupted by Omega.
"EGGMAN HAS TAKEN OVER THE WORLD WITH THE HELP OF A MASKED ENTITY KNOWN AS INFINITE. I WAS SHUT DOWN BY ITS POWER AND YOU DISAPPEARED. WE FOUND YOUR BODY GUARDED BY A MAD PYROMANIAC/MAGICIAN FROM ANOTHER WORLD."
Shadow stared at him. Blinked. And then asked, "What?"
"It's a long story. But the good news is that we're getting some help from a girl from said other world. Even if she is more in need of our help", Sonic added.
"What?"
Sonic stared at Omega. "Speaking of our outer dimensional girls, did you manage to destroy Cinder's Aura? Your finisher move was impressive, no doubt about it, but maybe one of us should go check to be sure. Maybe Cinder´s magic is still dangerous without Aura."
"What?"
"AURA IS THE SHIELD OF LIFE ENERGY THAT SURROUNDS THEM. A NATURAL PHENOMENA FROM THE OTHER WORLD, WHICH IS KNOWN AS REMNANT."
"What?"
Shadow's confusion would surely have increased if it wouldn't be for the sudden blaring of sirens. The hall was basked in a red light and a computerized voice said:
"The self-destruct mechanism has been initiated. Repeat: The self-destruct mechanism has been activated."
This time, Sonic asked, "What?"
"ACCORDING TO MY GATHERED DATA AND CALCULATIONS, CINDER IS WHAT IS KNOWN AS A SORE LOSER. IN OTHER WORD: YOU WERE RIGHT THAT WE SHOULD HAVE CHECKED ON HER, SONIC. NOW SHE SNUCK AWAY AND ACTIVATED THE SELF-DESTRUCT MECHANISM OF THIS PLACE´S SYSTEM."
"Dammit!", Shadow cursed. He still didn't get what was going on, but he knew there was now no time for questions. He was getting ready to run, to channel Chaos Energy into his Air-shoes and lead the other out of this place, but Sonic laid a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
"Hey Shads, calm down. Don't worry about us getting out, I got us covered."
He held up the red Chaos Emerald. "I'll just teleport us to safety with Chaos Control."
"Despite your injuries and less experience in Chaos Control?"
Sonic grinned at Shadow.
"Do you think you're better at Chaos Control after a coma?"
Shadow rolled his eyes, but for a very brief moment, the corners of his mouth twitched upwards.
"Is that a challenge faker?"
"Guys! Now is not the time to show who has the longer quills!"
"Well then, I guess we let the ultimate lifeform play hero."
Sonic tossed the Emerald to Shadow. He caught it and raised the powerful gem high into the air.
"Chaos Control!"
In a white light they disappeared…
… and reappeared in Mystic Jungle.
A faint smell of ash and smoke lingered, but nature was healing from the injuries Cinder had inflicted on it. Animal sounds echoed through the nocturnal jungle and the shadows of huge trees fell on the group. Omega looked around.
"WHY DID YOU BRING US TO THIS LOCATION, SHADOW?"
At first the ebony colored hedgehog didn't answer. He slowly pulled away from Rouge, who had still supporting him, and took a few steps ahead. With his back to the group, Shadow stared into the night with his arms crossed.
"I… I just wanted to get away from the place and the explosion. I guess Mystic Jungle just came to my mind as the last place I remembered going to. Before I… was forced into that coma."
"Forced?"
Shadow went quit for a bit, pondering the stuff he had experienced… and what the others had told him. He turned to Sonic, Rouge and Omega.
"So Eggman has conquered the world. And you said he allied himself with a… masked entity? Can you give me the details?"
They told him. With each sentence, Shadow's face hardened more and more. Finally he lowered his head with his eyes closed and murmured, "I shouldn't have let myself be overwhelmed back then. Then none of this would have happened."
Rouge approached her friend in concern. "Shadow? Is everything okay?"
He shook his head. "No. Nothing is okay. I'm sorry, but I'm afraid this whole fiasco is partly my fault."
"What are you talking about?"
"I…" Shadow sighed. He took a moment to order his thoughts, before he continued. "Remember that solo mission I was sent on? It lead me to this place. And it was here where I met the masked entity you know as Infinite."
Here we got a chapter of Cinder being a narcissistic edgequeen, Team Darkblue, especially Gigachad Omega, putting her in her place, and poor Shadow just being confused on what the heck had been going on during his absence. Next chapter we will get my version of Episode Shadow. It will answer some questions but will open many more.
To Guest: I will see where I can give Topaz a cameo without it feeling shoehorend in. So how do you like the fight and Omega just brutalizing Cinder with that final move of his? Infinite and Ruby will encounter each other during Metropolis, yes. She will also endure some of his attacks and tricks, but she wont have a full blown battle against him, because Infinite is waaay beyond Ruby´s fighting league.

Not directly from X. This story follows the Game series. But I put here and there some characters into it, but changed up to fit the games lore. Here Topaz is just one of many agents of G.U.N., but being colleges at work still led to Rouge and Topaz becoming friends. The DS Version of Colors is how the Intergalactic Amusement Park Incident happened in this world. As for the comics… if you mean Archie than no. None of that happened here. If you mean the IDW comics, those are pretty much canon. They, after all, start with the aftermath of Forces and show how it impacted the world. Some elements from them will be mentioned, but they wont be mayor elements.
To Xenozip: Yeah, there is always a certain balance one should be striving for when making a Crossover fic. If that balance cannot be achieved that the two fandoms are most likely not compatible. Or the author just lacks the creativity to make them compatible. Know next to none to Halo and Master Chief, so I cant say much about what you just said.
Jaune´s character focuses on his struggle to become better, to become the warrior he dreams to be. So yeah, he would especially suffer from being garrystued.

To Guest: I see now. To be honest, I can´t remember if that happened because G.U.N was actually trying to frame Sonic or if they were legitimate colorblind and incompetent during SA2. Ruby will definitely not confuse the hedgehogs with each other. They all posses different coloration, quill formation, gloves and shoes and Ruby herself has functioning eyes and a brain.
Cinder got messed up bad in this chapter, all of it karma for what she did to Pyrrha and Beacon. In an earlier draft I did plan to have Shadow getting released during the battle and be the one that finishes her of. But then I started to write and it somehow turned into Omega being the one who roasted her with both words and electricity. Cinder does know of the Emeralds, but not much. Eggman doesn't trust her with such information. And he took pro cations while giving Cinder her cybernetics, so that she cant take them for herself or disobey any other rule he gives her. Otherwise she will be shocked badly.
