Chapter 7 – Old friend

Ines woke up. She just had a weird dream, or she thought it was a dream. How she could forgot about that?

Sighing, she looked at her left and smiled when she saw her husband, still sleeping on his stomach.

The sun had just rise and leaving the bed quietly, Ines decided to do something that she didn't do for a long time.

Putting her training suit, and checking her kids first to see how were they, she went outside. The sun was already rising up, and find a perfect spot near the lake and started to do some movements, the same ones she used to did when she was a little girl. It has being a while since she exercise, especially with the little Luke needing her.

After doing the movements, she turn to the bench and raising her right hand, her lightsaber flew towards it. Igniting it, she started to swing, letting the arctic blue color of its blade twirl around.

Stopping after almost an hour of exercises, she heard a giggle and she knew exactly who it was and turning off her lightsaber, she looked behind her and shook her head smiling, when she saw her twin girls, still on their pajamas, watching her.

Walking up to the entrance of the home, she looked at her daughters.

"How long you two are here?"

The twins looked at each other and looked back at their mother and giggled;

"A while," Alli said to her.

"Mama you looked cool," Padmé said too, making Ines smirked at her.

"I want to do that too," Alli replied back.

"Well you will someday, but first you need to take a bath and eat breakfast. Where is your father?"

The girls shrug their shoulders, making Ines sighed.

Entering, she walked towards her bedroom, and saw her husband, already awake.

"I was start wondering where were you! I woke up and I was alone in bed," he said as she approached.

"Well I couldn't sleep, so I decided to do a little training while I can. It has being a while and I'm a little rusty," she said putting her lightsaber on the little wooden box where she and Luke kept their lightsabers, and sat back on the bed, smiling when Luke sat up and approaching her, he wrapped his arms around her.

"You should have wake me up too, making we could exercise together."

"Well I thought you were tired after the exercise we did last nigh, mister," she said facing him with a smirk on her face, making Luke smiled at her.

"That, you know I can do that exercise all night, right?"

"Can you?"

Looking at her, Luke lay her on the bed and rolled on top of her, making her laugh.

"Luke, the girls are awake, they can walk in any minute," she said laughing.

"I'm not doing anything, just this," and leaned down he kissed her, while Ines wrapped her arms around his neck. Every time he kissed her, he always took her breath away, since the first kiss they share years ago in Hoth.

Pulling apart, she looked at him and to his beautiful blue eyes.

"You know I would love to be like this with you, but we have 4 kids to give a bath and give breakfast. Especially the one who has his father's name, who probably is thinking where is his delicious mama's milk that should be in his belly right now."

Luke couldn't help but laugh at that. He knew his little boy was a timing clock when the subject was food, just like his siblings were.

Standing up and helping Ines stood up, he started to put his gig on.

"Well I will take care of the older ones. Go see our little baby," he said. And kissing her one more time, he left the bedroom, while Ines went to little Luke bedroom, smiling when she saw the 7 months old baby, already awake.

The moment the blond hair and blue eye baby saw his mother, he gave her the biggest smile.

"Hi my little love. I know I'm late but I'm here," she said and picking him, she changed him first before breastfeed him.

Smiling at her baby, her other Luke entered inside the bedroom, smiling when his son looked at him but didn't let go his mother breast.

"Are the kids ready already?" she asked him.

"Well Ben took his bath and he is dressing himself. Growing to fast our boy. But I don't see the twins anywhere?"

"What do you mean? They were in the kitchen when I went towards our bedroom. They had being watching me all along."

"Well they are not in the bedroom, and neither R2," Luke said looking at her.

They looked at each other and they knew their girls had ran away towards the forest and they knew exactly where.

"I'll go. You are their father and they can get anything from you. Not with their mother," she said looking down, smiling when her baby showed he was full. "Here, make him burp. I'll be right back."

Picking up his son, Luke looked at him.

"Your big sisters are in big trouble now," he said smiling when his son smiled back before he burp loudly. "Just like your mother." he laughed kissing his forehead.

At that moment, the twins were running through the forest, with R2 beeping after them.

"Padmé stop," Alli said to her sister, when the older of the twins stop in front of a big tree and started to climb it.

"Come on Alli," she said looking down at her sister and resume to climb, until she reached a high spot and sat down.

"We will be in great twouble," Alli said to her. "Mama told us to get weady for our bath. I'm sure Mama and Papa know we are here."

"If you want to go back, then go. I will stay hewe for a while. Is not my fault you are afraid."

"I'm not afraid," Alli said crossing her arms and frown at her twin.

"Then prove it."

Not happy with that, Alli started to climb the tree and after a while she was sitting next to her sister.

"See, that was not so bad."

Alli looked around and couldn't help but smile. She, like her a twin, loved the green and the woods. They always had fun in Varykino closer to the water. Sadly in Coruscant they couldn't do that cause there were not trees, except on some gardens, but their parents wouldn't allow to go there alone.

"Maybe we should go back now," she said looking at Padmé.

"Come on, we just got here."

"But I'm sure mama will be in any minute and when that happens we will in big trouble," she said, gasping when she heard a familiar voice underneath them.

"Well you got that right, young lady."

Looking down, they saw their mother, looking up with her arms crossed in front of her chest.

"I'm waiting," Ines said.

Looking at each other, the twins started to climb down the tree. Once they reached the floor, they looked at their mother.

"What did I tell both of you to do?" she asked them.

"Take a bath," Padmé said.

"That's right. As far as I know, this is not taking a bath, young ladies," she told them.

"But mama we like to do it," Padmé said.

"I told you we would be in twouble," Alli said looking at her sister.

Ines couldn't help to smile at them. An old memory just came into her head.

"What is it?" Alli asked noticed that their mother was smiling.

"Well you two just remind me of someone," she replied.

"Who?" Padmé asked her.

"Me and your aunt Leia."

"You used to climbed trees too?" the 4 years old looked at their mother in shock.

"We were a little older than you two, but yes, back in our planet."

"Tell us, mama," Alli asked her making Ines smiled.

"I will, but first, get your little butts back home and take your baths. Now," she said pointing towards the home, looking at them while her girls ran towards home with R2 beeping right behind them, like Lola used to do too.

"Well they do remind me of both of you, for sure."

Smiling at the sound of the voice of an old friend, she turned and saw the force ghost of her dear friend.

"Obi Wan."

"Hello Ines," Obi Wan said looking at the direction of the twins. "I was wonder when you would remember that."

Looking at him she smiled.

"I'm surprise you still do."

"I never forgot," he said smiling at her.

"Well one thing is for sure, now they would not leave me alone until I tell them that story."

"Story?"

"Yes, the story of how their mother and aunt met their uncle Ben," she said smiling at the old Jedi, before heading home, leaving Obi Wan smiling.

"That would be a hell of a story to tell them," he said smiling before disappeared.

The twins being sneaky as always. And now Ines will have the tell them how she and Leia met Obi Wan Kenobi.
