When Mike close the door he lock it then he step ford putting the bags on the desk next to Kate hat and brief case then he pull her into his arms since she turn to face him. They hug and kiss till it became passionate. When they broke apart Mike rest his for head against Kate
"Are you ok"
"I am now Mike this is a surprise"
"Well Hammersley in port for a few days so I flew down here to spend it with you and our kids. Mum told me what was happening with you, she worried and so am i"
"You know what it like mike being navigation instructor"
"Yes but there was two of us Kate you know that"
"Yes I do Mike... but I'm doing a job for both lieutenant and lieutenant commander"
"what" Mike was shock
"they been trying to find a lieutenant commander before the second part of the course, if there none it will be up to me to do both jobs like I'm doing now" Mike pulled Kate into his arms
"Is that why your tired Kate. You studying as well doing two jobs at once" then they pulled back so he could look at Kate
"Yes I am Mike" she said letting out her breath.
"ok" Mike kiss Kate
then he turn around and open the door to the on suite then he turn the light on before walk in and closing the door up then open it then walk back out again holding a robe in hand
"Here get out of your clothes... I mean all of them and put this on. I brought us dinner. We going to sit on the bed and eat it with the drinks I brought. Then after wards I'm going to relax you with massages" Mike said passing her the robe while smiling
"sounds wonderful Mike" she step forward and kiss him then she started removing her uniform.
Mike walk over and close her curtains so no one could look in. then he went and took care of the bags while watching Kate getting undress. Few minutes later they were sitting on the bed leaning against the head board eating Chinese food and having orange juice for drinks. They talk about what been happening since they last talk a month ago.
After dinner mike took care of the rubbish while Kate folded the bed covers and remove her robe and putting it on the back of the chair then she lay down on her stomach while waiting for mike who was in the bathroom getting Kate body lotion.
While there he quickly remove all his clothing before walking out and putting them on the chair then he sat on the bed next to Kate. He pour some lotion onto her back then he put it on the bed side draws. Then he started massaging her back and shoulders
"Mmm that feeling great mike"
"that good now just relax"
"Oh I will"
Mike massage her shoulders and back he could tell she completely relax so he started massaging down her back side and legs for a few minutes then he started moving his hands up between her legs.
Kate smile as she relax while mike massaging her. After ten minutes she notice he was moving down her legs which she also enjoy him doing to her then she notice the direction he was going so she open her legs wider for him. Then she felt his hands remove from her body.
Kate frond then she roll on to her side and turn her head she she was suddenly on her back then she saw mike move till he sitting between her legs looking at her as she sat up then she notice he was naked also
"Lie back and relax"
Kate lay down and relax then she notice mike hands was on her legs then she look up when mike move to kiss her legs so she let him. Mike kiss Kate all over her body then they made slow passionate love just as the sun was setting. After wards Kate was snuggling up to mike side with only a sheet over them
"how are you feeling now Kate"
"Happy tired, relax" she said looking at him since Kate bed side lamp was on
"Better"
"much just what I needed Mike, thank you" she lean over and kiss him
"And what about you Mike, how are you feeling"
"much better than before, I'm also happy, relax and feeling tired also but" He smile as her then roll them both till he was lying on top of her
"Not to tired" Kate laugh just as they kiss and made love again. They made passionate love four times before falling asleep in each other arms.
The next morning Kate alarm went off and turn so she manage to roll over and turn it off then turn the lamp on then she rolled back towards Mike
"what time is it" Mike asked
"five"
"five... oh you go to the gym at this time of the morning"
"Yes I do"
"do you have to go this morning"
"Mike you know I do my morning exercises" she said as she gets up and walk into the bathroom and close the door.
Mike thought about it then he got up and walk to the bathroom door and waited. When Kate open it she walk out to see mike there
"Mike" Mike pick her up in bridal style which cause Kate to squeal in surprise then he walk back over to the bed and lay her on it then he kiss her
"Stay" then he turn and walk into the bathroom.
Kate sat up shaking her head then she got up and went to her draw and open them she she got her gym gear out then she turn around when the door open and mike walk out
"Kate" he walk over to her taking the clothes out of her hands and throw them onto the desk
"Mike"
"Kate" he pick her up again and walk over and put her on the bed then he was on top of her before she could move.
"Mike you know I get up early"
"so you said you go to the gym every morning to exercise right"
"Yes you know that"
"well there is other exercises you can't do in a gym but you can do here"
"Like what" Mike move his hand down between them while not braking eye contact till he heard Kate gasp which made him smile
"As I said there are other exercises so fell like a work out this morning Kate"
Kate relies what he trying to do and knew he was right plus she doesn't know how long he in Sydney for before he has to return back to Cairns
"Your right and since you got plenty of exercises last night my turn" Mike kiss Kate then roll them both till she on top
"Ok, you turn" Mike said.
They made love four times that morning which left them tired, hot sweaty but happy at the same time.
"Well did you get plenty of work out this morning Kate" Kate laugh since she was lying on her back covered in sweat, she turn her head to look at Mike who also covered in sweat
"Yes I did so care to join me in the shower" Mike grin
"Why not"
they got up and went and had a shower together while they drink a bottle of water each while in there and they wash each other which cause them to make love while in there. After wards Kate got dress in her uniform while mike got dress in his civilian clothes.
Once dress they they walk out of Kate room while talking till they were out side in the morning sun. They walk over to the car park with there arms wrap around each other. When they stop next to Mike parent car they hug and kiss for a few minutes.
"See you tonight Kate" mike asked
"I'll be home for the weekend"
"Great we need to take our kids away for the whole day so we can give mum and dad some alone time"
"sounds great idea, any ideas Mike"
"We can take kids to sea life aquarium, sea life sanctuary and to the zoo"
"that sounds like a great plan Mike. We talk more about it tonight" mike smile
"sure, see you tonight" they kiss once more before mike got into the car and wined down the window
"Love you" Mike said
"love you to Mike" Kate watch him drive away then she turn around and walk towards the dinning hall for breakfast while smiling.
When Kate got her breakfast she walk over and join the other instructors who was having there breakfast.
"wow Princess perfect hour and half late for her breakfast" lieutenant commander Black said in smart tone. Every one at the table didn't like the way he talk to Kate.
"Well gee sir sorry I'm late for breakfast since I was to busy riding my husband hard and fast four times this morning before coming here to breakfast since I haven't seen him in over a month sir" couple of the lieutenant commanders had a mouth full of coffee when Kate said what she said causing them to spray it out across the table and on to lieutenant commander Black uniform.
"that enough lieutenant" Black said trying to wipe the coffee stains of his uniform.
"Why that sir, that right, I said no to you again last night when you try to hit on me again when I said no to you just as my husband showed up and heard what you said sir."
"might mike was here" one of the lieutenant commanders asked Kate
"Yes sir since Hammersley in port for few days he came down to spend time with our family when they told him about there concerns about me so he showed up with dinner and never left the room till this morning. He knows how to relax me... among other things" Kate said smiling as she bit into her eggs
"what other things" another lieutenant commander asked
"Well sir what would you and your wife been doing if you haven't seen each other for a month, if you know what I mean sir" Kate saw all of them except for black smiling
"We do lieutenant, how is mighty mike"
"Last night a bit tired but happy to see me this morning, more tired than last night but he happy, very happy"
"How long have you been married for?" another lieutenant commander asked
"Seven years, you would think we newly weds" they laugh just lieutenant commander Black got up from the table and walk away from them.
"Lieutenant what you said to lieutenant commander Black about you and mighty mike doing it four times, it that true?"
"May be I'm not say how many times we did it, but said what I said knowing that it would up set lieutenant commander Black"
"up set him you sure got him angry lieutenant, You better watch what you say around him"
"I know that sir, next time I make sure you not having a mouth full of coffee cause I'm sure lieutenant commander Black doesn't like to have free coffee shower while in uniform, don't you sir" they all laugh as they saw what happen few minutes earlier
"Your right lieutenant but good timing"
"thank you sir and good aiming" they laugh once again.
When Kate finish her breakfast she said her good byes to the ones at her table then return back to her room smiling.
When Mike return back to his parent place he went and had a quick shower since he smell like Kate then he got dress and walk down stairs and into the kitchen
"Morning"
"mike" Alice and Paul said at the same time
"Daddy" kids said smiling when they saw him.
He walk over and kiss on top of kids heads and then tickle them then he gave his dad a hug then his mum before getting him self cup of coffee and putting couple slices of toast in the toaster.
"When did you get in, I didn't hear you return last night" Mike smile at his mum.
"I got in ten minutes ago went and had a quick shower"
"You were with Kate all night" Paul said
"Yes dad, mum told me about what was happening with Kate so I went to pick up some dinner and went to see her"
"How is she" Alice asked
"Tired from what I saw and lieutenant commander trying to hit on her, she said no to him so I spoke up since I was standing behind her."
"I bet she was shock" Paul asked
"she was but happy to see me. We ate dinner and I gave her a massage so she could relax I could tell how tense she was"
"Is she coming tonight" Alice asked as the toaster pop up
"Yes Kate said she will be home tonight" Mike got the toast out of the toaster and put it on a plate then he started putting butter on them
"that good news"
"Yes it is"
That night Kate walk in the door carrying her sea bag. She walk into the kitchen and stop and smile when she saw mike chasing kids around the dinning room as they laugh. Mike saw Kate and smile which she did in return.
"Hey kids look who here" they stop running and look at mike who pointing to the door so they walk around the table just as Kate put her bag on the ground then crouch down just as kids saw her
"mummy" they all said as they ran over to her for hugs and kisses
"I miss you so much" Kate said looking at them
"We miss you mummy" they all said.
"Have you had dinner yet" they shook there heads
"I bet your hungry" they nodded as they grin
"Ok lets get you in your high chairs shall we" Kate said
just as mike came up behind two of them picking them up at the same time making them laugh. Kate pick one of them up and walk over and put him in his high chair then she turn around and pick up the other one and put her in her high chair.
Then Alice past mike two plates of food, he put them in front of Connor and Mary while Alice past the next two to Kate so she put them in front of Grace and Patrick. Kate watch them as they started eating there dinner when mike walk over and put his arm around her shoulder so she turn to him as she wrap her arms around his waist just as they kiss then turn and rest her head on his chest as they watch there kids eating dinner
"I've miss out on so much" Kate said
"your not the only one Kate, but we will make the most of it while we are together"
"I know, it hard to believe that they turn three in couple of weeks"
"True and I won't be here for there birthday this year"
"Same here Mike"
"don't worry you two"
"We do mum, we should be here to celebrate there birthdays but with me in Cairns and Kate at Watson bay we miss out last year and now we won't be here for there third birthday"
"I know what that like son, I've miss out on you and your sister birthdays when you were little"
"thanks dad"
"Kate how was your day been?" Alice asked
"busy with paper work"
"Mike told us, we under stand why your tired, I hope they find another instructors soon" Paul said
"same here" then she smile as she move her head so she could look at Mike who looking at her
"Mike remember lieutenant commander Black from last night"
"Yes was he hitting on you again"
"no but...when I got my breakfast this morning and went to join the other instructors he was at the table, he start teasing me about me being late for breakfast" Mike said the look on Kate face
"what did you say or do"
"I said to him...Well gee sir sorry I'm late for breakfast since I was to busy riding my husband hard and fast four times this morning before coming here to breakfast since I haven't seen him in over a month sir" Alice and Paul look at Kate in shock, even mike was shock
"you didn't say that Kate" mike said
"I did, and it was good timing to"
"timing" Alice said Kate turn to her in laws while smiling
"Yes two lieutenant commander had a mouth full of coffee, they spray it across the table, lieutenant commander black got a free coffee shower"
"Kate" she turn to see mike grinning
"Yes mike, any way the others don't like lieutenant commander black they all think he a mister know it all and his head is so far up his back side they happy that some one got him back with the way he treated the others instructors especially me"
"Well you sure know how to timing things Kate"
"that I do mike. After that word got around with the other instructors about what happen, they please some one got him back but was surprise it was me"
"hopefully he will back off" mike said
"We shall see" She turn to watch kids eat there dinner till they finish.
When they were Mike and Kate clean up there kids messes and spent time with them as well giving them a bath. Mike bath the boys while Kate bath the girls. Then afterward while in there cot Mike read them abed time story since it the only time he get to read to them is when he down from Cairns for a few days.
When he finish reading the story, kids were asleep. So he stood up from the chair as he close the book and put it back on the shelf then he check on them before leaving the room closing the door then he walk down stairs and into the kitchen to see Alice dishing up dinner
"Kids asleep" Kate asked
"Yes they are with all that running around today it tired them out"
"they will sleep well tonight" Paul said
"True" Alice said.
They sat down together for dinner, they walk about how the other families are doing and what the latest with them.
The next morning Mike and Kate got up early knowing that there kids would be awake so they got dress before going to check on there kids to see them awake so they got them dress and been to the loo before going down stairs for breakfast.
When finish and every thing clean up and left a note on the fridge before they all left to go shopping as well go to sea world, going to the zoo and have lunch and dinner in town. When they return home that night Paul and Alice walk out side when mike pulled up in the drive way.
"Did you enjoy your day" Alice asked as she open the back door
"Yes we did, kids sleep on the way home, they had so much fun today" Kate said as they got the sleeping kids out of there car seats and carry them in side.
They put them to bed after removing there shoes and socks and then put a sheet over them. Then they return back down stairs where Mike and Kate went and brought shopping bags in side since they brought new clothes for there growing family.
"wow you been busy shopping"
"Well kids are growing up fast" mike said
"True, what did you get them" Alice asked.
Mike and Kate showed Paul and Alice the clothing they got there kids as well telling them where they took the kids and how they enjoyed them selves.
The next day they all went down to the beach for the day so kids could play in the sand as well having fun with there parents. That night after kids had there baths they fell asleep strait away soon as there head hit the pillow since they had a busy fun day at the beach. After dinner Kate drove mike to the air port where they said there good byes before he left to fly back to Cairns. Kate then return back to Watson bay since she got teaching in the morning.
The next morning when Hammersley crew showed up they talk about what they did on there shore leave while taking boxes on board till they saw car pull up. They saw Mike and a lieutenant get out of the car.
They notice it a new lieutenant and wounder who he is, so they carry on doing there work knowing they will get a chance to meet the new XO while out on patrol. They all knew that they are away for six weeks and it was going to be interesting to see how things go in that time.
Kate keep her self busy with doing two jobs as a instructor during the week and spending weekends with the quads.
Both her and mike miss out on kids birthday but their kids and mike parents got a surprise on the morning of kids birthday. A delivery truck showed up delivering four single beds, bed side draws, head board, chested draws, sheets, duvet cover, duvet inner, pillows and sheets. Paul and Alice was shock but could see that the kids were happy.
"Oh my gosh" Alice said then the phone rings so Alice answer it
"Hello"
"hi mum are you ok"
"Yeah did you and Kate buy beds for kids"
"Yes are the delivery guys there now"
"Yes, we going to put them in the spear room up stairs across the room from you and Kate"
"We knew you would mum, tell kids it there birthday present from Kate and me"
"I will son, Ah who are who" Mike grin
"In Kate and my room there are pamphlet in my side draw it got kids name on them and what sort of duvet covers they wanted for there bed"
"Ok I'll take care of it Mike"
"thanks mum, look I got to go to a may day give kids a hug and kiss from me"
"will do Mike" then they hung up.
Paul took kids to day care center after the truck was gone. Alice started putting new sheets in the washing machine for starts. When Paul return, he and Alice sorted out kids new bedroom and they started sorting out what clothes to keep and what ones to to donate to charity.
