Without knowing about what was taking place in the background, Naruto moved along with his plans. Visiting Tsunade in the morning, he put forward his enquiry about the body getting stronger through eating stronger monsters and even presented his monster sealing plan.
Kakashi was a live sample of his work, so it was accepted very easily and it allowed for many others to join the fight. However, the plan to eat stronger beings was risky as it could lead to various problems.
One, the supply wasn't really enough to sustain them. They couldn't eat without limits since monsters with strong life force and chakra weren't that many. But, it wasn't a major problem since eating even the weak monsters was better than normal food.
Two, the actual problem was that the human body wasn't used to consuming such food and could develop dangerous diseases that could mutate and cause a pandemic. However, with their current power and resources even that wasn't a problem anymore.
Finally, they had always considered it a taboo and thought of it as something that only barbarians would indulge in.
The plan to eat monsters wasn't outlandish, so Tsunade decided to test it out on a normal Chunin ninja. They cooked a monster fish normally and one with the help of the Akimichi clan member.
Tsunade observed the situation on the microscopic level while the person ate and just as expected there were some issues. The human body had difficulty digesting the food and extracting the nutrients from it. The chakra contained in the food was also causing a negative reaction for the eater.
It looked to be a failure, but the Akimichi clan member said that he wanted to try something and ate the food.
The food powered ninja used some technique that was active while he ate and ending up consuming everything without an issue. It was the secret Akimichi clan technique that allowed them to fully digest anything they ate and make it part of their body without any negatives.
Digesting the food in seconds even without Tsunade's explanation, the food monster had exclaimed his shock and wonder at the power he felt flow through his body.
Tsunade saw the energy fully combine with the body without a single waste. She had never even considered looking into the Akimichi clan, and missed out on such a wonderful fact. These food monsters had created a miraculous technique that was ideal for monster consumption.
With it, humanity could finally reach their natural limits. However, there was still the problem of supply and the effect of the solution on the world. Naruto could enhance the power of the monsters in the world and through it, humanity would also grow naturally. But, this brought into focus the problem of a monster tide.
However, the problem of the big threats was enough to take the small risks. These monster tides would also keep the shinobi on their toes. As such, it was decided that they would bring the idea to the other Kage's before starting the procedure.
Calling an urgent meeting, Naruto met with the Kage in the Land of Iron along with Kakashi and Tsunade. Before meeting up, he had been told not to answer without their consideration since the other Kage might talk him into problematic situations. Naruto didn't want to believe such a thing, but he understood that it wasn't easy for people to start cooperating after a long period of hatred.
It only took one day to arrange the meeting and all of the other Kage seemed to be in a jolly mood. They were all so friendly while talking about their shared experience during the war that Naruto thought it was all okay now.
The ideas were put forth on the table and Naruto's desire for the Molecule release, Golem creation and lightning armor along with Laser circus was put forth.
The meeting officially started with the introduction of the Fusion Jinchuuriki plan. Naruto had managed to convince Isobu and Son Goku to choose from other nations while the rest had already chosen the people he had introduced.
Before talking about this point, they had already introduced the threat to the world.
"I hate that creature a lot, but it seems like we have no other choice." Mie didn't seem to like the idea at all, clearly seen from her disdain and hatred.
"Isobu isn't someone you need to hate. He is a nice person with a timid personality, so please treat him well." Naruto didn't like her choice of words and her negative emotions towards his new friend. He was responsible for them, so he couldn't allow such a thing.
Looking at Naruto, she would have normally reminded the person to mind their position but he was special. She looked at him with a seductive smile.
"If you say so, hero." Mei smiled at him and gave him a wink.
Naruto felt shy from her antics.
"Stop distracting our guardian, Mizukage…Uzumaki Naruto, I put my granddaughter forward as the candidate. Is she suitable?" Inoki the Tsuchikage, looked at him while pointing at a young girl of similar age.
Kurotsuchi was a girl with a mean glare and a fire to be the best. She was surprised by the recommendation and a little worried, but she didn't back down.
"I can do it."
Through his gaze, Naruto allowed Sun Goku to look at the candidate. The girl had the ability to use lava style and was also on her way to learning the molecule style. She had the strongest potential in the Land of Earth and was in line for the Kage position.
'She is good enough. I hope she won't break.' Son Goku muttered roughly. He had only joined after seeing the result of the fusion as it had made him the weakest by default. That was not something he could allow. He intended to use new methods to finally surpass his fate as the four tail beast, so it was ideal that his vessel was someone with ambition.
"He thinks you are good and likes your ambitious mindset." Naruto communicated while paraphrasing.
"What about the others?" The Raikage, Ay, finally spoke up and it was a question that was on the others mind as well.
"They have already chosen their vessels from Konoha."
"I see." It was clear that the answer was not well received.
"Things happened in such a manner and the Bijuu ended up liking the first people that Naruto mentioned. However, we have a solution to that problem. We can use the mythical beasts as fusion partners." Tsunade spoke up to clear the situation and Kakashi showed what she meant. It took their attention successfully.
"That's a wonderful idea." Mei clapped at the scene and looked at Kakashi with a wanting gaze.
Everyone agreed to her point and could see the benefits. To build up on that point, the monster consumption was put forth.
The idea of such a thing was horrendous since monster meat didn't taste good and was harmful to human beings. However with the solution presented and with the need of the hour, the group agreed and it seemed like their problem had lightened.
Finally, Naruto put forth his request for Light speed slash, Molecule style, Golem creation, lighting armor, laser circus, hydrification technique, water mirror technique and great shark bullet. These were secrets skills from the other villages that none would dare ask for, but Naruto had dared.
The room was silent as none dared to deny him. They didn't think he needed them, but it was just something that wasn't supposed to be shared.
It actually came as a surprise to Mifune since he hadn't expected Naruto to mention his technique. He was used to being ignored by the ninja, and it was a shocking moment to hear it from a being of such caliber.
Regardless, Naruto was asking for his life's research and it seemed truly unfair. But, he couldn't deny it. It would seem selfish to deny the guardian and was it even possible to deny him.
"Mister Uzumaki, you are asking a lot from us. Can we expect something in return?" Gaara voiced the question for the others since his colleagues were waiting for each other to say it.
"Of course, I would never force you." Naruto answered honestly, but the others didn't seem to trust it very much except for Mei and his own people.
Mei looked at Naruto's group and licked her lips before making her decision.
"I will give you everything if you will marry me." Mei's dream was to marry a handsome and successful man that could sweep her from her feet. However, it was impossible for most men. Naruto on the other hand ticked all her requirements except his looks weren't up to her ideal husband. Regardless, it seemed that he would grow up to become a heroic looking figure and he was already the strongest being in existence.
There was no one better than him and it was the best chance for her to get him. Plus, it would make her village better and it provide them with permanent protection.
Everyone was taken aback by her request, but it also opened up the others to that avenue. They could get closer to Naruto through marriage.
"I will allow it, if you would marry my granddaughter and power up our barrier with your full power." Onoki put forth his request and Ay also followed through with it.
Naruto hadn't expected such requests, though Kakashi and Tsunade had already considered them. It was the natural turn of events when confronting an overpowering force. People tended to try and get closer to control or get some crumbs from that overpowering individual.
Mifune didn't have a granddaughter to present and he also saw the benefit of connecting to the young guardian. It was undeniable that Naruto was the most important person alive at that moment.
"I would like you to accept my grandson as your follower." Mifune put forth his grandson who was not present at the meeting because he lost his way and wandered in the opposite direction.
"I can't accept such marriage proposals, as we are not close enough for such a thing and I have never considered polygamy. I am sorry, but please choose something else." Naruto didn't consult with the adults on the matter and the duo didn't stop him either even though they knew that a rejection could cause a massive problem. However, Naruto was extremely serious when it came to feelings so he would never comply with arranged marriages to unknown people. It would have only caused internal problems.
"How about he takes your granddaughter as a follower? Maybe they would fall in love and marry." Tsunade did some damage control, but she had nothing for Mei since the other side was the Mizukage.
"What about you Kakashi Hatake?" Mei changed her mind from Naruto as she could see that the young man was extremely rigid and wasn't going to budge anytime soon. Therefore, Kakashi was the next best option as he was handsome, smart, talented and very close to Naruto.
Kakashi hadn't thought of such a possibility and he understood what the other side was doing.
"I would be happy to accept your proposal, Lord Mizukage." Kakashi replied with a smile showing his face clearly for the first time in decades as he was not dismayed by his father's image.
Onoki glared at the chipper Mizukage, 'Smart brat, I should have reacted fast.'
"I am fine with the change, but you still haven't answered the question about the barrier." Ay felt the worst since his daughter had been rejected, his pride was hurt. Now he was forced to make his daughter into a follower of someone else. It was fortunate that he trusted the boy and Bee also gave him passing marks.
However, it was still not the proper solution. Without a balanced relationship, it was impossible for them to say anything.
Tsunade thought about their purpose and couldn't find anything devious. It looked like a simple defensive plan.
'Do they intend to use his chakra for something else?' Tsunade could only speculate as there was no conclusive answer, since the other two villages hadn't shown such a plan before.
'Is it risky enough to reject the request?'
Tsunade gave him the nod and Naruto accepted their requests. With that difficult situation was over and the Kage's discussed things in further details and how they would work on the research together.
On the other hand, Naruto met up with his followers outside the meeting room. From the three individuals, he had only seen one of them.
It was his first time seeing Mifune's grandson, Zoro. The young man of twenty was a muscular man of average height with lightly tanned skin. He carried his three swords along with him, bundled up with a green haramaki over his right hip, allowing him to easily draw them with his left hand.
From one look, Naruto could see that the swordsman had an extremely powerful base and even his chakra reserves weren't low like the majority of the samurai.
'Stronger than Sakura without her seal.' That was Naruto's verdict of Zoro's strength while Kurotsuchi was very close to Kakashi's previous level.
The final candidate was the Raikage's daughter, Ororo also known as Storm. Just like many of her people in the region of the Land of Lightning, she had a codename given to her at birth. These people only gave their true name to people close to them.
Raikage Ay's, codename was Zeus while Killer Bee's real name was Leroy.
Ororo had light dark skin, long white hair, the right side being worn loose and the left side starting as cornrow braids before blending with the rest at the back. She had light brown eyes, and a buxom figure. She wore a bright green sleeveless martial arts gi with yellow linings and a tie at the center with a black undershirt, matching bright green martial arts pants with yellow linings with a black belt to her waist.
Ororo's name was given to him to show that she was going to become his follower, and Naruto could see her level of power easily. The girl had been trained extensively since birth and she was very similar to her father in the fact that she loved thrills.
She was extremely energetic and friendly unlike the other two.
Her power level was equal to Kakashi's previous level since she was only below Ay and Leroy in Kumo.
Looking at the trio, Naruto didn't know what to do since he never had followers and it was clear from his expressions.
"Seriously, you never considered what to do when you had followers. Didn't you plan to become Hokage?" Kurotsuchi seemed extremely annoyed by what was happening and Naruto's incompetence only made it worse.
"It is my first time, so how would I know. I hadn't planned such a thing. Since you seemed to know about this, how about you guide me?" Naruto didn't push her down with force and just talked back in a friendly manner while agreeing that it was his mistake.
Kuro was taken aback by his attitude since to her it was such a serious situation.
"You are definitely my type of person, Naruto. You don't have to ask her, I can help you with that while we chill at the Samurai Arena." Storm had been watching Naruto closely; she had even gotten the information from Killer Bee (Leroy) and her father, before deciding she wanted to stay. Unlike Kuro, Storm was free spirited and would bounce if Naruto had been an annoying twat.
Seeing the beautiful girl acting freely with him, Naruto felt embarrassed by her touch. Dodging her hands, Naruto got close to Zoro and saw that he had fallen asleep with his eyes open.
Kuro on the other hand took offence to Storm's words, "What do you mean by that? Do you think you know more than me?"
"I didn't think. I know better than you." Storm chuckled at Kuro's and Naruto's reaction as she circled around Zoro to Naruto's side.
Seeing that it was about to devolve into a fight, Naruto decided to step in.
"Stop, if you want to follow me then you will never fight against each other." Naruto's chakra paralyzed them in place and forced Zoro to wake up.
"What happened?" Zoro didn't feel any danger so he acted calmly, confused at the situation.
"Nothing important, we were just about to take a tour around the city and get to know each other." Naruto answered after giving it a second.
"Why not, I will show you around. I will show you my favorite spot." Zoro shrugged and presented himself as the guide, and Naruto accepting it was how he learnt that his new friend was directionally challenged.
The man had taken three hours to reach the meeting place when it was just few minutes from his house. He had visited few countries before reaching the summit.
