The Land of Whirlpools was a volcanic island situated between the Land of Fire and Land of Water. It was not big like the other great nations, but it was a normal size Kingdom and not just a shinobi village. The Uzumaki Family was the ruler of the Kingdom and lived in the center of the Island.

The infrastructure style was different from Land of fire as the buildings were carved into the mountains and built with fuinjutsu seals on them to protect from any problem.

There were large pillars that could be seen from afar, these pillars were carved with complex fuinjutsu seals to protect the Land of Whirlpools from outside danger.

However, all that beauty and grace had been tarnished by the combined effort of the Land of Water, Land of Earth and Land of Lightning. These three nations had sent half their force towards Land of Fire to distract them while sending the other half to annihilate the Land of Whirlpools.

The savage beasts of war had left nothing in their path and only a few Uzumaki had survived that day, scattering into the world while hiding their ancestry.

Naruto arrived on the island but didn't really feel anything but sadness for what had taken place. It was the stark reminder of humanities vile darkness.

It was reminder for Naruto that he needed to be careful about his goals, as the outside threat was not the only thing. He shouldn't forget his real goal, the creation of a peaceful world without any retched deeds.

He had been fixing issues, but teaching people to connect had been sidelined because of his training.

"You can't change the past, Naruto. So, don't wander too far and just focus on the present." Ino took his hand and held it tight to give him strength since she knew how much he cared for others to the detriment of his health.

"We will definitely make a world devoid of such darkness. Don't let these signs make you second guess your goal." Hinata knew of his desire to the change the fundamental nature of the world. The world had gotten used to the small evils and they had become part of every one. They didn't bat an eye or consider it an evil.

It was normal for children to fight in wars.

It was normal for a noble kill anyone when they felt disrespected.

It was normal for weaklings to be used by the strong.

It was normal for the strong to own the weak.

It was normal for there to be a disparity in the value of lives.

It was normal for the poor and weak to be uneducated.

It was normal to follow the old customs and sacrifice people.

It was normal to only allow marriage when it was beneficial to each other. Marriage between people of two extreme ends, poor and rich, was impossible.

The current world considered too many things normal that were not actually good natured. People at large didn't consider what their actions would do for others. They would only see what it did for them.

People didn't even care when people were dying from illness or hunger around them. Whenever a person seemed to get power, they ended up oppressing others with their authority. It was not everyone, but the fact that it was not small minority was concerning.

The bigger problem was the constant struggle for power and resources. When humanity could just work with each other and improve to a level beyond their individual capabilities. People were divided by border, culture, language, shape and color that humanity was split into countless factions.

It wasn't easy for humanity to forget those divisions within a month, even if the people above had joined hands.

Such change required constant work and a long time for it to show the fruit.

"Thanks for the support, and I know we can do it. Let's go and see if we can find something useful." Naruto smiled as he hugged them both. It really felt better with such adoration and affection. He felt like a new life had been given to him.

'Is this the power of love?' Naruto wondered as he opened his senses to find anything useful.

Looking at the trio, Orochi smiled like an elder looking at his young students. He had decided to follow Naruto as one of his followers as he acknowledged the young man's power and personality.

He had accompanied Naruto because of his vast knowledge about fuinjutsu seals that he had achieved through his long age.

Looking around the island as he floated above the ground, Orochi tried to find any useful knowledge. They didn't assume any books were left or anything, but there was possibility of a hidden safe. Regardless, they could take the knowledge from the wreckage and complete it to form the full seals.

Naruto had studied for a month with Orochi about these seals, but it was still not enough since the fuinjutsu seals above basic level were very complex. Even with Naruto's talent with seals and chakra control, it was not enough since he needed to understand the fundamental laws of the world. Fuinjutsu wasn't just language written with magical ink, it was the understanding of the user incorporated into the language.

The difference in understanding brought forth dissimilar results. It was the similar case for ninjutsu and Genjutsu. With understanding about fire, the user could end up using less chakra and create a flame that was stronger than his chakra capacity could ever allow.

That fact was understood by Naruto clearly, as he had been throwing around chakra attacks without understanding the fundamental laws of the universe. By just learning some basic knowledge, all his attacks had grown stronger while chakra cost had been lessened.

He realized that being ignorant wasn't bliss but a curse, as it had cost him a lot in life.

Orochi searched the area along with Hinata as she could see beyond anyone present and could even bypass everything in her way.

Through the team effort, Orochi was able to find many unique fuinjutsu seal fragments that were unknown to him. The characters were unknown but he could see that they were about space, time, death, souls and invincibility.

On the other hand, Ino was with Naruto since he kept on receiving data from the clones and she was there to help him digest the data properly.

Naruto and Ino didn't look for seals but for other clues, and he found something. He had been feeling space fluctuations around the main palace and after some time the path was shown to him.

Using his senses he could feel another world around him and with his eyes, he connected with it and teleported to it.

He teleported alone to avoid his loved ones getting hurt, even though they had been insisting to go together.

The world that expanded from his gaze wasn't large. It was the size of a large country. He floated in the sky and the world was illuminated by an artificial sun.

There was a small ocean and a land mass in the middle. Inside the large mass of land, there was a small town at the center.

He couldn't feel many people in the world and these people gave him a sense of familiarity because of their chakra signals. They seemed to be similar to his mother.

Though it was a small population, the people were extremely strong. All of them were around Kage level and some of them were even around Hashirama's level of power.

It was truly surprising. Without much hesitation, Naruto flew towards the small town while controlling his presence since people were always overwhelmed when they saw him.

Just as he got closer to town, Naruto felt invisible chains trying to coil around him. These were even trying to suppress his chakra and seal his senses.

However, Naruto had surpassed the realm where weak chakra could affect him anymore so he was immune to it. Unless it used Senjutsu or something on a similar level, no chakra type move would work on him.

Nonetheless, it was something that would have incapacitated anyone other than him. Going further, Naruto felt the fuinjutsu seals grow stronger and they used the concept of souls, and death.

The seals tried to suck his soul out into the pillars surrounding the town and the barrier around town even tried to block his teleportation ability. He was only successful because his powers were greater, not because of his understanding of the subject.

'I feel so uncool.' Naruto facepalmed as he felt ashamed that he was only able to power through things like a brute again.

Arriving inside the town, Naruto was surrounded by many flying red heads in armor.

"Don't be afraid, I am not here to fight. My name is Uzumaki Naruto, and I have come from the outside world after exploring the ruins of Land of Whirlpools." Naruto calmly stated his purpose without showing any weakness.

His words didn't lower their guard and one of them stood in front of the group to communicate with him.

The person was an old man with a muscular frame, white hair and black armor with red seals. His facial expression was aggressive and his voice didn't betray that fact.

"Where are you from?"

"Konoha, Land of Fire. Are you people, Uzumaki survivors?"

The man narrowed his eyes at the answer as Konoha was an ally of the Land of Whirlpools.

"Follow us outside the walls, we can't allow foreigners to enter without a check." The man pointed his sheathed blade towards the gates.

"I don't mind. I am just here to talk. Does anyone of you know Kushina Uzumaki?" Naruto could see their open hostility towards him. So, he didn't push through and followed these basic requests.

"How do you know that name?"

"She is my mother, and it seems that you know her. Are you my uncle or something?" Naruto said jokingly but it ended up hitting the bullseye.

"If you are her son, then I am your uncle. Kushina is my little sister and my name is Toshiro Uzumaki, the commander of the Uzumaki Warriors. Tell me, where is she?" Toshiro followed behind Naruto with his squad of elite fuinjutsu warriors while not showing any emotions. He still looked like he was fighting.

"I am sorry, but she has left this world on the day I was born."

"Who was it? How?" Toshiro's asked calmly, it seems that he had already made peace with the fact that his sister was dead in the outside world.

"It was an enemy of Konoha, Madara's student. He attacked on the day I was born to utilize the weakness in the Kyuubi's seal. Regardless, I have already taken care of everything and it is peaceful in the outside world. Unlike the old days, the nations are in an alliance and working together to create a perfect world while focusing their elite forces to combat foreign enemies from beyond our planet." Naruto could see that the man wasn't lying, so he told him about it honestly without going into any deeper details.

"Peaceful world? Did Kiri, Kumo and Iwa receive punishment for what they did to us?"

With his words, the atmosphere became extremely cold. Naruto didn't look away from him, but even he felt that it was going to be difficult.

"They received punishment along with the rest of the world for their immoral nature. More than a million citizens died and 60% of the Shinobi population died during a battle with Madara Uchiha, as he tried to plunge the world into an eternal dream world.

Do you think this is enough for you? Or do you desire to kill the rest of them? Or, do you desire to kill the ones that were directly involved in your fight? Maybe some of them survived this terrible ordeal." Naruto showed a heavy expression as he showed the people what took place during the war through his mastery over illusion. Genjutsu required excellent control and Naruto had that in spades once Kurama stopped messing around with him. Plus, he now had Six Paths and the eyes.

Looking at the war, it felt like they were in a dream.

"Is this real?" Toshiro couldn't believe what he was showing. It made no sense even if he agreed that Madara was a monster.

"It is real." Naruto unleashed his power and all of them were paralyzed by the heavy presence. They all felt like tiny drops inside an endless ocean.

"Stop, I believe you. Why are you here, Naruto? What are you in the outside world?"

"I am just here to check for anything that can help humanity fight against the Otsutsuki threats. As for what I am, I will become the Hokage soon, but for now I am just the Guardian of Humanity. What about you guys, why haven't you left this small world for so long?" Naruto got closer to the elderly man and hugged him.

He was really happy to find a family member. Toshiro didn't push him away and put his hand on his head. The expression he had shown made a stark contrast with his showing of power.

"We are stuck in this world because the seals on the outside have been destroyed. The person that knew the way was killed during the conflict, so we have been stuck researching to find a way to go back home." Toshiro changed his tone a little bit after the little talk, though he seemed to be always ready for combat.

"Do you want me to take you back? I can open a portal for all of you." His words brightened up the expression of the others and even shook the old man.

His words made absolute sense since he could enter then he must have to return.

"Let me call the leader, he will decide." Toshiro didn't respond and sent one of the men to inform the leader.

While they were waiting for the leader to arrive, Naruto and Toshiro sat down for a small talk while his men brought some tea and snacks for them to eat.

It was the first time for Naruto to actually eat anything that was Uzumaki, and he felt weird using the same language. All ninja in Konoha learnt Uzu Language but most of them never really spoke it.

Naruto would have spoken it in a weird manner before the war, but after it he had started practicing properly to honor his clan.

"Do you think the leader will share Uzumaki secrets with the world for the greater good?" Naruto finally asked the question on his mind as he shared some small talk about the food and their normal routine daily routines to know about the Uzumaki clan.

Toshiro didn't have to jump around and answered his enquiries since it was just basic daily life of his clan. But, the last question gave him a stop.

His expression didn't change but the answer he gave was ambiguous, "I don't know since it has never happened before."

Naruto was about to mention the Shinigami seal given to Konoha and the Kyuubi seal, but kept shut. He got the memo, Toshiro was unsure or the current leader wasn't going to share a thing.

"I hope your leader listens to my words, so we can start working together. Maybe I can finally live up to my Uzumaki now." Naruto smiled as he looked at the sky and leaned back into his seat.

"The leader is wise, and he knows what is best for the clan." Toshiro responded and stood up as he received the signal.

Naruto also stood up and the people made a seal on the ground from which another elderly but scholarly man appeared.

The fuinjutsu seal turned out to be a teleportation seal.

The men bowed to their leader and he walked forward towards Toshiro.

"Be at ease, you must be Uzumaki Naruto. I am truly honored to meet the Emperor of the world." The elderly leader with a handsome look and eloquent tongue greeted him cordially.

Naruto was confused by his words since he had never mentioned such a thing, "Sir, you are mistaken. I am not the Emperor of the world and there is no such thing. I am the guardian of the world."

"Is that so? My bad, I thought someone with such power would have conquered the world."

"I don't have such interests. And, please stop what you are doing." Naruto felt uncomfortable with his wording and decided to make him stop before he made it worse.

"Apologies, I was just surprised by your noble nature. Please sit, and let's talk about this problem in the outside world. Before I forget, my name is Genryu Uzumaki. It is a pleasure to meet you." Genryu gave him a bow and a smile as he sat down.

Toshiro didn't speak and sat beside his master while Naruto sat on the other side.

Genryu sent the others away when Naruto looked at them and Toshiro put up a barrier.

"Thanks, I don't think this something that should be common knowledge."

"I understand, so please give us the full picture." Genryu gave a nod and picked his tea while Naruto started explaining the gritty details.

He didn't go into details of what humanity was doing but gave details of the threats. It was a depressing picture unless you had the positive mindset of Naruto.

There was a race of immortal beings that devoured life from planets with intelligent life. The weakest of them was strong enough to contend with Naruto. These creatures were strong enough to even ascend to a domain where time and space didn't even matter.

Their numbers were unknown, but even if there were just thousand of them and they had actually lived for countless thousands of years then humanity was doomed.

No matter how anyone looked at it, there would be at least Otsutsuki in the hundred ranges that had lived for a very long time and devoured countless planets. Just one Otsutsuki that might have devoured 100 planets would be too much for any of them. Could they even contend with that power?

If one of them had already ascended to the outer domain, there were definitely others beside him as well. How strong was he before he ascended? How many of them were close to ascension?

They didn't know the personality of these creatures, but none of them could risk it on the fact that they might be civil about it.

Naruto didn't say the depressing thoughts about ultimate threats, but it was everyone else around him that listened to the details. He was the only one that didn't see the futility of their resistance. He was the only one that knew all details but didn't see that their chance of success was not even 1 percent.

Naruto actually believed in the potential of his people to put up a valid resistance especially after finding so many ways to improve humanity. He didn't think they could ever go extinct if they stuck together and avoided backstabbing each other.

Just like others, Genryu and Toshiro also took the issue in a similar manner. It was a horrifying reality that they had awoken to. Was it even worth living with such details? Knowing that every moment just got them closer to a fated doom.

"Are you alright?" Naruto asked with concern.

Genryu shook off the shock and focused on the young man, "Why do you look so confident even after knowing such details? I believe that everyone would agree that we are just waiting for our end, there is no possible way we can survive this threat."

"Why do you think so? We have many ways to improve and it should put us on a similar level. It is not like all of them are coming to cleanse us. From the data we can assume that a team of two might come to check on the area and we can definitely get a time limit extension by capturing these two since the Otsutsuki don't operate on the same time as us. To them even thousand years are just like one year or so, for us this is enough time to put up a real resistance."

"Isn't that too convenient? What if one of the strong ones appears? What if these two scouts end up reporting the moment they look towards our region? They have lived for a long time and been eating planets, so they must have some way to judge whether the planet is worth it or not." Genryu seemed to show his bad habit of making others second guess themselves. However, he had come across an anomaly.

"Why should we delve in the what if? Has it ever caused a positive outcome? Such thoughts are just a waste of time if they only amount to causing psychological and moral damage. Or, do you suppose we should just sit down and wait for the end instead of trying and maybe succeeding."

"Haha, you are right. We are not such weak men that would accept the outcome. You have satisfied my curiosity, Naruto. I accept your helping hand, and thank you in advance. And since we are not such ungrateful people, I will allow you to learn under Toshiro. We will also provide resources to combat this threat and play our part." Genryu stood up and extended his hand towards Naruto with a friendly smile.

Naruto took it and they hugged to finalize the discussion. With it the atmosphere lightened up and Genryu allowed one of the men to show him around town.

Seeing the young man leave, Genryu turned to Toshiro.

"What do you think?"

"They haven't gone past the fundamentals of chakra. They are not a threat to us anymore except Naruto. His chakra is immune to ours and his power is too much for any of us."

"Even with all of us, with our full capabilities?"

"I am unsure. We need combat data to make an accurate judgment."

"Have Makoto fight him or you can fight him directly, will that be enough or do you need a real battle."

"A spar should be enough, we will have analyzers ready and we will definitely be able to find a way to restrain him. But, will we use it on him. He is one of us and the world has changed."

"Changed, we are still in the same position. We were the strongest when comparing our average power and our seals gave us the edge that caused fear in all of them. Even now these people are so far behind us that it's too pathetic to even comment on.

No matter what the world looks like, we can't be complacent like last time. We were neutral but they desired to erase us from this world. We can't allow these barbarians such freedom again. We will rule this planet no matter what.

This young man is our last obstacle, so devise a plan to control him just in case. First, we will try to pull him to our side. I don't mind putting him on the throne, if we are the ones controlling things under him."

Toshiro couldn't deny his leader's fears as the world had never been kind to them. They had helped humanity for thousands of years by fighting giant beasts and keeping the Bijuu away from human lands, but they had been betrayed for all their efforts.

"I understand."

"Don't worry Toshiro, we will not kill your last family member. We never kill one of ours." Genryu put his hand on Toshiro's shoulder and promised to keep it clean.
