Watching his companions get annihilated and the culprit get cheered boiled Naruto's blood, as he just witnessed his nightmares take shape in the real world.
Causing his hands to bleed from the extreme pressure, Naruto was only held back by Kurama who continued to assure him that they wouldn't die and it was necessary.
Even though Naruto had spent time equivalent to 100 years for a normal person within a month, he was still technically not a mature adult yet since that time was purely done for learning and not experiencing life.
It was the same case for normal people who would still act like children in their thirties because of their lack of real life experiences.
For this reason, Kurama's support had come in handy since Naruto had yet to grow to the level where he could see such things with a logical mindset.
Seeing his companions appear beside him while shaking, Naruto hugged them close to reassure them that it was all okay. All three of them felt broken and traumatized by what had taken place.
The painful death had brought them a psychological hit that needed some time to heal.
'You can now take out your frustration on him, Naruto. He has humiliated you in front of everyone, so you can't lose this battle no matter what. Your loss will be a loss for humanity.' Kurama knew that Naruto might have missed the purpose of his foes actions.
Naruto nodded and flew into the arena while leaving a clone to take care of his friends. For the first time in a month, he activated his full power.
During the war, Naruto had reached continental power and after taking in the power from Sasuke he had reached moon level. This had been further upgraded to planet level once he had received the other half of Kurama and some chakra from the Juubi, the Sage and the rest of the Bijuu.
Once he started training his base form to the extremes and even ate properly, Naruto's base form achieved the same level of power his Sage mode had during the Pain Invasion. His base form had become Kage level and after proper training of his Senjutsu, and Rinne-Sharingan he had become reached an extreme level of power.
Just with the complete fusion with full powered Kurama, he reached Half-Planet level, and combine that with the eyes he was Planet level. With Six Paths on top of that, Naruto had reached extremely powerful realm.
Six Paths provided Naruto with a boost that allowed him to go from less than City level to Continental; it was 1000 times boost in power. However, it only took place because he was very weak and the new mode allowed him perfect control of his power. So, it was technically just a 100 times boost in power and that was more than enough to make Naruto into an invincible juggernaut.
At full power, Naruto was large planet level. His strongest attack held the power to destroy a planet 100 times the size of Earth, and if he utilized his true understanding of Senjutsu he could soon destroy a Jupiter sized planet.
With so much power inside his body, Naruto had to actually limit the Six Path boost as the overflowing energy would cause his cellular structure to collapse since his body was not strong enough for it yet.
However, that problem was solved once he learnt from Gai and Lee about proper body enhancement with chakra. Just like most ninja he had been using chakra uniformly to enhance his body and with better control he could use more chakra to increase the effect without damaging his body.
But, that was just a simple chakra enhancement. Using such a simple method was inefficient and didn't give a large increase in power. It was especially worse for someone like Naruto who had a large reserve of chakra, as he was not getting the advantage granted by that large amount and was getting the same enhancement in stats as others.
Guy and Lee had been working on chakra enhancement for years because it was their specialty and their path towards greatness. Learning more about the human biology, they understood how it operated and decided that the ultimate body enhancement would be chakra enhancement of the individual atoms that make up the body.
Before atoms were the cells and each human had at least 30 trillion cells. So for these crazy fighters decided that the cellular level was the 3rd stage of chakra enhancement while the second stage was purely focusing enhancement in single region. This was different from normal enhancement in the fact that it also focused on the blood, bones, nerves and everything in that section of the body. This second stage allowed the user to create a massive difference in power.
Naruto learned about these four stages and could easily utilize the second stage, this allowed Naruto in base form to reach the power level of his Bijuu Mode during war. Regardless, it was not the end as Naruto could actually utilize the cellular level with his perfect control of chakra and his huge reserves.
Naruto couldn't power up all his cells with large amount of chakra, but he could definitely put building level rasengan chakra into each of his cells. This would allow his chakra to last for a few seconds and allow him a level of power that was extremely intense, solving the issue of the overflowing energy.
Theoretically Naruto could also use the second stage method's concept and only focus on the cellular structure of one region, giving it more chakra to achieve a power beyond the whole body enhancement.
With all that power, Naruto should have been able to walk over all foes but the Great Immortals held power to destroy stars. It also meant that Ishiki was at that level when he regained his full power and Kaguya was definitely not weak as she had been during the war.
It meant that they were lucky that Kaguya was throwing around energy without using any skill; otherwise she could have used that large reserve to erase all of them with utter ease.
Getting back to the battlefield, Naruto didn't look down on his foe since Hinata was also beyond planet level and Ares had treated her as fodder.
His power was unknown but the fact that he dared to fight so openly meant that he had something to back his confidence.
While Naruto was reading him, Ares was also doing the same while his body had fully awakened to avoid getting taken out by a lucky shot.
He knew the others were weak so he played around, but Naruto was powerful and such carelessness was not allowed.
"I hope we can have a fun battle." Ares fully armed himself while his aura came out in all its glory.
"I hope so as well." Naruto replied while his mind calmed down to focus on the battle without emotions clouding it.
He had fought with his clones at full power and fought against his clones using the fighting style of others, but never against a real foe.
Ares was the first person to face the absolute monstrosity of the human world.
Fireball
It was a basic jutsu that Sasuke would always utilize as a part of his battles. It was something that anyone with a fire affinity would learn and was one of the most common jutsu in the Land of fire.
The basic jutsu had been transformed into a force of destruction in the hands of Naruto. Utilizing his understanding of fire, the flames had reached extreme heat and the explosive portion had been amplified.
Flames were formed through the burning of oxygen and heat became stronger with the movement of the atoms and their collision.
With the understanding applied along with his new stats, the simple jutsu reached a power surpassing everything that Naruto had ever used.
It was a planet destroyer at the least, but the foe stood casually and let the flames that could erase the earth wash over him. The flame exploded on contact, causing the whole arena to be covered in blue flames.
Through the flames, a spear was launched towards him at speeds surpassing light. Naruto deflected the attack with his Sword of Nunoboko; it looked much stronger than before as he had managed to fully unlock its power.
Naruto had realized that the Sage had sealed the swords powers and it could only be undone through mastery of fuinjutsu. It had 12 seals, according to the 12 levels of fuinjutsu and Naruto had only broken three levels yet.
At full power, the sword held power of 100 stars and now Naruto could use the power of 5 stars. Regardless, Naruto wasn't intending to cheat during the battle and just sealed its power for a fair battle.
Deflecting the attacking, Naruto could feel the strength of the strike and teleported to the other end of the arena as Ares appeared behind him with a similar black blade.
"This is an interesting a weapon, you know. I remember it very fondly." Ares had fought against the Sage so he knew it personally and knew the hidden power of the weapon.
He could normally utilize all weapons of war at their full potential, but for the black sword it was impossible for him to use his conceptual skill to break its seal since the power and skill of the Sage was beyond his level.
Nonetheless, he decided to use the weapon since it was still extremely durable and held power null capabilities along with existence erasure.
Naruto didn't wait for him to talk, and appeared close to Ares instantly while the black blade liquefied and turned into chains that caught the foes limbs.
Along with sudden movement, Naruto had utilized the gravity and atmospheric pressure. Gravity was increased to 1000 times that of earth while atmospheric pressure was million times of earth.
The sudden increase was enough to keep him in place and Naruto's touched caused seals to crawl over Ares while he followed it with Gentle fist strikes.
Ares didn't have chakra points or gates, but Naruto used his chakra to create blockades inside of the foe that limited his power and paralyzed him while the fuinjutsu sealed his power.
"I already expected seals when I saw that sword, so you are not touching me any time soon." Ares spoke as he caught Naruto and his body engulfed Naruto before compressing into an atom, and exploding.
Naruto easily avoided the move while unleashing dual rasenshuriken to chase the foe while pulling Ares towards him.
Ares cancelled the pull and released an energy slash to destroy the attacks before releasing a rain of arrows that exploded once reaching a certain height.
To assist his destruction, Ares caused a barrier to appear around Naruto to trap him. The whole arena was filled with explosions him no choice but to block it.
Diamond Realm Mandala
He struck the ground with it's the sword that had turned into a spear, spreading a purifying barrier in the form of a mandala that exorcises evil spirits. It was a special barrier unlike the normal one created by pure chakra, granting it a higher defensive capability and ability to disregard attacks trying to harm the user.
Grey Noise
Naruto released a howl that sealed away his foes abilities. It was one of the Yin-Yang abilities that were given to Kurama.
Along with the howl, his eyes shined and released another technique.
Eyes of Darkness
It an evil eye that imprisoned within darkness the hearts of the opponents that gaze at it. This caused Ares to become paralyzed for a moment and Naruto unleashed his enhanced Bijuu bomb to finish it all.
Chaos Degrade
Six TSB floated in front of his hand in a line before turning into circles and Naruto unleashed energy through them like it was a rail gun.
This was a skill given to Kurama utilizing the concept of Yin-Yang that allowed his power to reach a higher realm and gave his attack the erasing ability. Everything that came into contact with the attack was erased from existence.
The attack itself also absorbed energy from the world while Kurama's energy was just the controller. This allowed Naruto to use an attack above his power grade, letting it reach Jupiter level.
The world seemed turned black and white for a moment before the place shook heavily. The energy was blocked the barrier or it would have completely obliterated everything in the small world. Regardless, it went into the sky as a giant beam of black and white while being contained by the barrier of the Great Immortals.
Ares had no chance to survive the attack and even Naruto barely survived by enhancing his body to full capacity for a moment and enhancing his mandala barrier or the attack would have also killed him.
"This is the power brought into reality by the combined effort of humanity, and it is the power of your new allies. Is there anyone here interested in forming a bond with us?" Naruto cleared away the Yin-Yang energy clouding the arena and announced his victory while looking heroic.
'I don't think anyone is going to call you human any time soon.' Kurama muttered inside his head. He was still reeling from the fact that he went from just an Island destroying monster to a creature with power to erase planets with utter ease. The power brought out from proper techniques and skills was insane that Kurama had started learning things, researching them properly to create his own. He realized that it was a dumb mistake to just throw around pure energy without any finesse.
Watching the battles from beginning to end were multiple figures and among these immortals were few that stood out.
"That simpleton needs to stop letting others charge their attack for no reason." A beautiful woman with long brown hair, in a white dress holding a notebook and pen muttered distastefully after watching the battle end.
"It is in his nature to test out the limits of his foes, so it was expected. And, even we didn't expect the human king to bring out such power." The other woman sitting inside the VIP area said as she defended Ares while petting her mystical dear.
"I doubt anyone of us would allow the enemy to harm them with such an avoidable attack. With his arrogance he has made it hard to see what other abilities this man holds."
"Why don't you fight him, you will get all the information you need." Another woman joined the talk while leaning over the balcony and watching Naruto intently alongside a red haired woman with a gentle persona.
"Aunt, you seem interested in his offer." The dear woman noticed the gaze of red hair woman, as it seemed different than usual.
Her words caused the other women to focus as well.
The woman in question smiled gently, "I am. This young man is filled with affection for everyone, and for his family it is increased to another realm. I believe we are suited to each other. Though, he also suits you three as well. I don't mind if any one of you would like to contract him."
The dear woman was related to nature so it was obvious why she mentioned it, but she also disliked man.
"I am not interested in the males. I like the girl named Hinata, as she is talented in archery. So, you can go ahead and take this guy."
"I am interested. I feel like he needs my guidance." The chill woman with long black hair and dark eyes called Nemesis who represented vengeance and retribution for evil deeds spoke with an amused smile.
"I feel the same." The woman with brown hair called Athena echoed and both women looked at each other.
"But, I think you should take the lead this time Aunt Hestia." All of them agreed to it since they had their chances before except for Hestia who represented familial bonds.
"You are such precious children." Hestia hugged the younger women.
"I think you should hurry since Uncle Hades is approaching him." Artemis pointed out as a man with dark armor and aura walked towards Naruto.
After waiting for a few minutes, Naruto finally saw the first person to answer his call. Just from a single look, Naruto could see that the person was extremely powerful and maybe close to the power of the Great Immortals.
But he wasn't the only one, as four other candidates also appeared.
"Apophis, you are wasting your time here. This child isn't blind to your nature to accept your offer." Hades said as he glanced towards a young man with double pupil golden eyes and a snake like tongue.
From hearing the name it was obviously the sun eating snake that would plunge the world into eternal darkness. He represented chaos while Ra represented order, and they were similar level beings on the opposite sides.
"Did you hear anything Hela, Inari? I think I heard a dog bark some nonsense again." Apophis chuckled while disregarding Hades as nothing in front of him.
Hades ignored the jab and looked towards Hestia, "Big sister, please allow me this chance. I believe our bond is really important."
"I don't know what you have seen, brother. But, I believe it is quite rude to ask me of this. This is the young man's decision, not mine to make."
Hades didn't refute that point and turned to Naruto, "Child, are you aware of us or do you need an explanation?"
"I believe an explanation will be necessary since all I know about you people are folktales, legends." Naruto was patient with the people, and happy that some powerful individuals responded.
"I see. Inari, could you help our guest." Hades turned to the Immortal woman wearing a fox mask who represented foxes, smithing, general prosperity and warriors.
Without minding the command, Inari explained the general powers of each candidate. She skipped herself and explained about Izanami instead.
It was obvious that all the dark themed individuals had decided to make a visit since Naruto hadn't utilized other elements or light.
Regardless, Apophis was the strongest amongst them but he was also very suspicious. To make things worse, he also reminded Naruto of Orochimaru.
The second strongest choice was Izanami.
"I will advise you to avoid making contact with that woman, Naruto. She has unhealthy obsessions and very possessive." Hestia advised him so that Naruto wouldn't make a decision that would cost him. She was the most cooperative, and one that stood out to Naruto.
However, she lacked in power compared to the rest except Hela.
"Thank you for your warning." Naruto was grateful that he had someone from the inside to inform him of the flaws, and he felt complete trust towards the source.
Hades was the other option, and his character wasn't bad either.
"I don't wish to hide my intentions and lie to you… I have received a similar offer from your leaders, but they rejected me once I asked for more. I wish for a contract with many of you, as much as my body can handle." Naruto understood that it was putting himself in a difficult situation, but he knew that he required more. Just one of them was not enough, and he knew he could handle more.
With multiple contracts, he would have access to more power and abilities. Plus, Naruto was confident that fusion with multiple entities was possible for him.
Inari directly left, showing that Izanami didn't wish for such a contract.
"I understand your wish child, but are you sure about risking your life like this. Isn't it better to do it normally instead of acting so recklessly? Think about it for a moment, we are all in this situation together and none of us is choosing this method for a reason." Hades didn't act coldly and showed an understanding expression. It was clear that Naruto was just trying his best, and didn't mean to act arrogant. It was similar to majority of them when they had heard about the impossible threat, they had turned to risky methods and many of their friends had died.
"That's why I only wish for one at the moment, and the rest once my body has adjusted to it." Naruto was delighted to know that these people didn't take his request in the wrong manner and actually gave him an ear. He clarified his request to see if they would accept.
"I have no issue with it, Naruto. And, my power could definitely make it easy for multiple contracts to work." Apophis smiled confidently as he placed his arm around Naruto's neck like they were close friends.
It showed that he was a very casual person unlike the others.
"I like your ambition boy, let's work together towards it." Hel showed a excited expression as she looked him in the eye, and all he could see was the desire to dominate.
"Look away from the child, they don't suit you. I am willing to help you in your goal, and I will suggest having my sister as your second contract." Hades didn't see a problem with Naruto's request, and he could tell that the boy wouldn't try to fuse multiple contracts unless necessary.
'Why did they deny him?...I see.' Hades thought for a moment and understood why the leaders had denied Naruto. They wished to see if he would act arrogantly, and desired to know if he would just give in to their words.
Naruto proved to be resilient and persistent. He continued on his path while staying honest and fair.
Seeing their response, Naruto felt excited and relaxed as this path had also been very nerve wrecking for him. Every moment Naruto felt that he was risking his chance to get a contract forever.
Looking at the candidates gathered around him, Naruto's gaze was purely focused on Hades.
Apophis was the strongest but he lacked any leadership skills and was very suspicious. Hela possessed leadership skills but her personality seemed too aggressive.
Hestia suited him a lot because of her affectionate personality, and her power of bonds. However, she also lacked leadership skills and the heavy power.
Hades was the perfect candidate as he was a leader and possessed a great power with a variety of skills that would be beneficial to him.
"I apologize, but for now I will accept the proposal from Mister Hades." Naruto looked at the others and conveyed his decision.
Apophis seemed to have expected it, and didn't mind the conclusion.
"I guess I expected this outcome, so I hope you can choose me the next time." Apophis disappeared with playful punch to his shoulder.
"Not a bad decision, but we won't able to form a contract since I am in direct rivalry with him. If you decide to break the contract, then we can work together and I will help you rule the world young king." Hela placed her hand on his face and whispered into his ears before turning into darkness that washed over him, disappearing from the region.
"I can understand your decision and I believe it is for the best. My brother will not let you down, so please don't let his harshness blind you to his noble spirit." Hestia didn't say anything except encourage the bond between Naruto and her brother before leaving the duo.
Just like that there were only two people left in the arena, and Hades took his guest to his personal dimension called Elysium.
Once Naruto left with Hades, the incident was known by everyone and further battles continued. Hinata and Ino were the only ones left without a contract, and it didn't take long for someone to approach them.
Ino was approached by some minor Immortals and only one stood out amongst them that caused others to disperse.
It was Isis, the immortal representing magic, love and healing from the Land of Wind. She was an extremely beautiful being that even stood out amongst the immortals.
Regardless of her appearance, Ino was only attracted to her because of her background since the others didn't have much skill in her field.
While Ino talked with Isis and the sudden guest called Loki, Hinata was met up with Artemis, Kama, Tsukuyomi, Benzaiten, Aphrodite and Freya.
All of them symbolized archery and love, or just love or archery.
