Chapter 44 – I Love You Forever

The driver just stopped in from of Luke and Ines building. Getting off from his seat, he waited until Luke and Ines got out of the vehicle. The night was getting colder, with a chilly wind, and the drops of rain started to be more frequent.

Luke looked at the driver, and taking some credits from his black pants, he handle to him.

"Here, as a thank you for your services."

The man looked at Luke's hand, and shock his head.

"Oh sir, thank you but I can't accept. I'm just doing my job."

"Please, accepted it. I will take personally if you don't," Luke insisted.

The man looked at him and then to Ines, who was rubbing her arms, since her dress was not made to stay outside in that cold weather and the drops of rain weren't help either.

"Please, we will feel bad if you don't," she told him.

With a nod, the man took the credits, and looking back at Luke he bow his head.

"Thank you Sir."

"Thank you," Luke replied.

As soon as the vehicle lift off and left, Luke took Ines hand and they both entered the building and then the elevator. They couldn't wait to be under the warm blankets of their bed.

Reaching the top level, they entered their home, and were surprised to see Ahsoka with a sleeping Alli near her.

"What happened?" Ines asked right away, reaching her daughter and make sure she didn't have a fever.

"Don't worry, she is fine. She just wanted to wait for her mama and papa to arrive, but as you can see, sleep was stronger than her," Ahsoka giggled, making Ines sighed in relieve and Luke couldn't help to giggled too.

"Well when she gets older and goes out with her friends, that will be us for sure," he replied.

"How are the others?" Ines asked. "I hope they didn't give you much trouble over the night."

"They were fine actually. I got more trouble with the adults, if you know what I mean," she answered. "But they are all in bed, except this one. Luke ate around midnight and now he is fast asleep."

"I will go check on them before going to bed," Ines nod.

"So how was the party?" Ahsoka asked.

"It was actually quite good. My mother and father in law are still there. We wanted to go home to be with the kids," Luke informed.

"It was an interesting party, until the end when Mon Mothma's husband decided to ask Luke for a possible betrothal between his grandsons and the our twins," Ines said right away, making Ahsoka gasped.

"He did what? How dare he?"

"I know right. He didn't even bother to ask me too, after all I was the one who cared them for 9 months inside me and had the pain to put them in this galaxy, but only Luke had something to say in the matter."

"Which I have to say, it was for the best," he said looking at Ines.

"You are right cause I would tell him to shove that proposal right in some place that I know," she replied making Ahsoka laughed.

"See," Luke laughed too.

Then they heard Alli called them.

"Mama! Papa! You're home already."

"Yes sweetie, we are home, and you should be in bed," Ines said kissing her daughter's forehead.

"I wanted to wait for you," Alli said.

"But now we are here, and it is time for you to go to bed, cause it is late and it is cold," Luke replied and picked his daughter, smiling when the little girl hold on to him, holding her toy and resting her head on his right shoulder, closing her eyes and fell asleep right away.

Stroking her blonde hair that just like the hair of her twin sister, it was getting bigger, reaching the girls mid back already, Luke hold her tightly against him.

"Well I'm not surprise that Perrin wanted the girls to be with his grandsons, I mean, who doesn't want these adorable girls in their family," Ahsoka smiled at them.

"Well I may say that they will only date when they are 40, but I want my kids to be happy and that is the reason they will be with whom they want and love, not who we choose for them. I married for love, and so will they," Luke said making Ahsoka nod. He was right and she knew it.

"Well I better go before the rain gets worst. Goodnight."

"Goodnight my friend and thank you once more," Ines said and hugging each other, they said goodnight, and locking the door the moment Ahsoka left, Luke and Ines head towards the twins room, where Padmé was fast asleep on her bed.

After putting Alli to bed and kiss the girls a goodnight kiss, they went the boys room to check on them. After seeing they were well covered, and saying goodnight to R2 too, they head to their own bedroom.

Taking of his and Ines lightsaber from his belt, and taking off his boots, Luke glare at Ines who was standing looking at the mirror of their bedroom desk where they had they perfumes and colognes and where Ines used to put her makeup and do her hair, watching her taking off her earrings, and untied her hair that fall on her back, reaching almost her waist, which he didn't mind at all.

The proposition of Perrin came into his head and the fact that him and Mon Mothma were betrothal to each other when Mon was 16 and their daughter was 13, and he started to think of his own life if everything was different? Will he ever be with Ines at all?

Walking towards her, he wrapped his arms around her waist, and kissed her neck, making Ines smiled and giggled.

"Hello," she said with a smile.

Looking at their reflection on the mirror, Luke couldn't help but smile.

"I'm so lucky to have you in my life, you know that," he said making Ines frown at that.

Turning around, she looked him in the eyes.

"I'm the lucky one, but why are you saying that? What is troubling you?"

Running his hands on her long brown hair, Luke sighed.

"I was just thinking about the proposition Perrin just offered me."

"You are not thinking to accept it, right?" Ines asked.

"Of course not, but that made me think, what if my father never turned to the dark side and never became Darth Vader, and with that the Empire would never existed and Palpatine was arrested by the Jedi."

"So?" she asked.

"Well it made me wonder if I would be with you like am I right now? After all I would never be in Tatooine raised by my uncle and aunt, and your planet would never be destroyed and I wonder if I would be able to ever meet you."

Ines thought of that and it was a valid question.

"Well I believe we would have met, after all our parents were friends. Your mother would continue to be a Senator, so my godfather. And I'm sure I would be here in Coruscant with him."

"Yes, but the Jedi Order would be the old one, where no attachments were not allow. So would I be able to be with you?" he asked.

"The fact that your father was with your mother, and both had you and Leia, and if your father was able to resist the dark side and put Palpatine in jail, maybe. Besides if the force will was for us to be together, I think not even the Jedi rules could have stop that," she smiled at him. "But I understand what you mean. I can't imagine my life without you in it, Luke."

"Me neither, which makes me feel a little guilt to be happy that everything happened the way it did, and because of that I have you and was able to made our beautiful kids," he replied leaning in and taken her lips into his in a deep kiss.

"I love you too, forever and ever," she said at the same time that she started to open her his tunic and kissed his chest, making Luke starting to unzip her dress, making it fall on the floor.

"How about we show how much we love each other?" he said with a wink, making her giggle.

"I would love that," and kissing each other, they head to bed before Luke locked the door of his bedroom first.

Around 1 am:

Luke just lay back on his side of the bed, breathing heavily. His hair and body were covered in sweat, for the intense love making he and Ines were doing for the past hour.

Looking to his left, he smile when saw Ines trying to calm down her breathing as well. Sensing his looks on her, she rolled on right and looked at him with a smile on her face.

"When you said to show how much we love each other, I was not expecting in that intensive way. My husband today is on fire," she giggled, as Luke rolled on his left, and wrapping his right arm around her waist, he pulled her closer to her, running his fingers on her sweaty hair.

"For the past hour you weren't complain. Quite the opposite," he winked making her laugh.

"I just hope we didn't do much noise," she replied back.

"You mean you, right?"

"Oh really, you are pretty noisy too, you know."

"Well is not my fault you are so delicious," he answered kissing her neck making her close her eyes.

"Luke, aren't you satisfied already?"

"Not really," he said looking at her. "I want to compensate you for all those years that I was dumb enough to not telling you how much I was in love with you."

"Babe I know, you don't have to explain."

"Please let talk," he said. "I know that I hurt you, when I started to seeing other girls between the Battle of Yavin and the Battle of Hoth."

"You mean Nakari and Shira."

Luke sighed and nod.

"It is okay. You already told me everything." she continued.

"But, I need to say this to you. You stole my heart the moment you took your hood, when you pulled me and Ben aside, and our hands touched. When I saw you, I couldn't stop thinking how beautiful you were, but also that I knew you from somewhere. And when we went of that mission with Han and Chewie and the droids, and we started to get along, more and more I couldn't stop thinking of you. I knew that I wanted you the moment we share that dance after the celebration. And I blame myself to not have the courage to go to you and said how much I loved you. I waste 3 years of my life, when I could have being with you already."

"Luke," Ines said stroking his right cheek.

"But when I was in that wampa cave and I didn't know if I could see you again, I promise to myself, if I would make it, I wouldn't waste more time. I would tell you I love you, even if you didn't fell the same."

"But I did fell the same. The moment I met you, my heart started to beat fast and I never felt that before. Your blue eyes, your smile, everything in you made me nervous, and exited at the same time. When you walked into the room, I couldn't help but smile. And I dreamed to be with you like this for so long. Sometimes I'm afraid that I'm dreaming and I will wake up and we are still in Yavin or Hoth."

"I can guarantee this is real and I promise you I will never let you go from my life," he said making Ines smile, and with a quick move, she rolled on top of him, making the hair fall around them.

Smiling, he grabbed her hair off her face.

"How am I so lucky to have you in my life and to be able to make 4 wonderful kids with you?" He asked.

"Well maybe I'm the lucky one that you choose me to be yours and I will be yours forever. After all you are the only man who saw me naked."

"That's not true," he said making Ines frown. "Your father and brothers saw you naked too, remember." he laughed at end.

"Very funny. I was a baby and yes my father change my diapers at the time. But that was not that type of seeing naked I was referencing."

"I know and I'm so lucky that you choose me to show you how good sex is," he said pulling into a kiss and rolling on top of her, Ines started to giggled. "How about I continue to show you."

"Again?"

"It is only 1 am, we have all night Mrs Skywalker," he said and leaning down they kissed while they started to make love for the third time during that night.
