Chapter 1

{Harry found a mirror near the veil. He is sitting on his bed in privet drive}

Harry was touching the carvings of the mirror. He was still finding it hard to accept the only father figure he had in his life was gone. Remus had gone to Japan to a society where ancient magic was embraced and learned 2 days after Harry settled at privet drive. He was reminiscing about the time spent with Sirius. He was regretting not telling any of his deep and dark secrets. The secrets that could change the way you looked at Harry.

He found the mirror near the veil while Dumbledore was talking with Fudge and asking (read-ordering) him to tell the whole truth to the media. He just picked it up and kept it in his pocket. He had forgotten about it afterward. What else would you expect after finding that a prophecy that has made his life the way it is a secret?

*Harry you are too young to know about such a huge thing. Adults responsible for you should not tell you things that make you lose your carelessness about the real world.

This rang warning bells in his head. He knew that something was wrong with this sentence but couldn't put his fingers on it.

But one thing made him rethink his opinion about Dumbledore which was that he was a person who felt the world was a chess game he had to win.

Adults responsible for you

Harry always considered himself a grown-up kid who was independent. The weaselys were a family that took care of him. They were not the 'adults responsible' for him. Sirius took care of him whenever he was with him but he is dead. It almost sounded as if as if Dumbledore was that adult.

Harry contrary to what people felt he could not forgive easily. How could they know? It was after all a part of his 'secret'.

The 'secret' was so well hidden in the depths of his mind that nothing not even leglimency could allow anyone to read it. It was something that made people like Ron and Hermione feel like they were strangers

Ron and Hermione only knew things that had to be told to them to make them believe that he trusts them utterly and is hopeless and clueless without those two.

He knew what the prophecy meant with power and it was not 'love'. Did Dumbledore feel that playing matchmaker to find the dark lord a wife would defeat him? Or having a 'heartfelt talk' could allow him to reconsider what crimes he has done in the past and ask for forgiveness on his knees to the wizarding world.

Many things have happened that made Harry feel that Dumbledore is not who acts he is. The headmaster might feel he is utterly devoted to him but he was wrong. He might feel that he is someone with a temper and is loyal to whoever lends a hand of kindness to him but he was wrong. He might feel that he was an open book when it came to emotions but he was wrong. He was as wrong as the person who had declared that Earth is the center of the universe

It was all but nothing other than an act. Harry knew why sorting hat felt he would acquire greatness with Slytherins.

Many a time he felt that he should have begged the sorting hat to go to Slytherins after he found out what kind of people Gryffindors were but he stayed and acted like a typical lion. Even if it was against his nature like it is against watermelon's nature to taste like orange.

Author's note

Hello there how are you all?

*I know it was not in the actual book but it was necessary for this story.

Harry will be a bit... okay very different from the way he is portrayed in the books. Don't worry I won't make him the next dark lord. But I will certainly make him a lea... I am not saying what it is. (author folds his hands and looks away with a sneaky grin on her face)

Don't you all feel that for someone who is the supposed worst dark lord, it is damn funny to be just defeated by a disarming spell? Tell me about it in the reviews.

How is my attempt at trying to make this chapter funny?

This is the first story I have written so please do be kind in the reviews section.
