George Mason discusses Jack's call with Jamey Farrell and Eric Carter.

.

Jamey: We;ve been able to piece together a call that the bomber received just before he detonated. We don't know for certain that the caller was Aslan, but based on the bomber's end, it seemed the other man was searching for his wife.

Mason: So this girl, Melanie, might actually be in hiding from her husband.

Eric: Are we going to use this girl as bait?

Mason: Aslan knows more than her, and she's not exactly an innocent bystander.

Jamey: What about the prisoners?

Mason: For now we keep them.

Eric: You think any of them know anything about this attack?

Mason: No, but I've been wrong before. And if I'm wrong now, hell if I want to be the one explaining why I let alleged terrorists go free.

Vice-president Warren Keaton arrives at the home of his old friend David Hoffman. A Secret Service agent looks around to make certain the place is secure. Than, at the vice-president's request, he lets these men talk in private while he stands guard outside.

.

Dave: Thank you for coming.

Keaton: You were right, we've been through too much together to abandon you now.

Dave: I'm glad you feel that way. That letter you wrote to the judge, talking about my military service, it helped, but not enough. I was hoping, you could convince the president to grant me a full pardon.

Keaton: I can't do that, she's notoriously honest. In any event, you made your own choices.

Dave: So I used a tip from a friend to make a profit in the stock market.

Keaton: You also lied about that, under oath.

Dave: The prosecutors were just trying to make their bones by going after a friend of the vice-president.

Keaton: They might have been ambitious, but they couldn't have prosecuted you if you hadn't broken the law.

Dave: Isn't there anything you can do?

Keaton: There is one more thing I will do for you. Presidents are very generous with pardons and commutations in their final days. When that day comes, I will ask president Allen to consider your past service to this country.

Dave: Even if she loses re-election, that's two years away. And if she wins, I'll be eligible for parole before then.

Keaton: I'm sorry, it's the best I can do. I can look after your family during your incarceration, make sure your grandchildren are okay.

Dave: I didn't want to play this card, i really didn't.

Keaton: What are you talking about?

Dave: Ever wonder why Lyle Gibson hasn't harrassed you daughter, or your granddaughter, in nine years.

Keaton: Because I paid him to leave town. And because you and your friends persuaded him to take my money.

Dave: You sure about that?

Mike's conversation with his father was over and he went to his room. The idea of back breaking labor for the rest of his life didn't appeal to Mike, nor did the idea of fatherhood. So he called his old friend Rudy. Mike wasn't a true believer in nazism the way Rudy was, but he did appreciate the violence of it all.

.

Rudy: Hey Mike, what's up?

Mike: That girl Bianca, she's knocked up, claims its mine.

Rudy: Is it?

Mike: Maybe. Now I'm suppossed to work construction to pay for the brat, just because she won't get an abortion.

Rudy: That's rough man. What do you want from me?

Mike: I was hoping you could help me remedy the situation.

Rudy: Sounds like fun. Come on over.

.

Split screens show Mike going over to Rudy's, Jack and Tony guarding Melanie, Eric Carter preparing his team for the operation, Kyle and Rick in Afghanistan going off to find Illiyeen, vice-president Keaton being shocked at what his old friend is telling him, president Allen beginning her address to the nation.

.

Allen: My fellow americans, just one hour ago terrorists killed american soldiers, along with their families, and independant journalists. Although the vice-president might have been a target as well, he was not at the event. It has been confirmed that over 150 people have been killed, and that number might rise in the next few hours. I can assure you that law enforcement is doing all they can to bring those responsible to justice. Whatever their goals are, they will ultimately be harmed by this cowardice. If their goal was to delay our withdrawel from Afghanistan, it will go on as scheduled.

.

Millions of people all over the world, friend and foe, were watching president Allen's address. Among them were Aslan. It sickened him to see a woman lead a country, his people would one day make certain that this would never happen again, that females would know their place. The true caliphate would come, of that he had no doubt. Aslan would not live to see that day, he would be dead soon, as would many infidels. He only hoped to live long enough to murder that whore Melanie and make certain that child would be raised by those who believed as he did. Someone had to carry on the fight after Aslan martyred himself.
