Chapter 2

On the boat, Eren, Mikasa, Aya, Katrina, Armin, Peter, and Odom are sitting in the corner, Katrina asks, "Odom, where is your father?"

Odom frowns, "He was still back at Shiganshina District, he is with Peter's mother as they are fighting against the Titans out there..."

"I just hope they can come out safely... we've already lost my father...I don't want my mother to die as well..."

Both Peter's mother and Odom's father are members of the Survey Corps, and they volunteer to help the people to safety while fighting the Titans. Eren can only grit his teeth because of their mother being eaten by the titan.

Military officials are debating whether they should close the gate or not, trapping civilians inside but ensuring the safety of everyone else in the inner Walls, or leave them open and risk Titans advancing further into mankind's territory.

The debate is short-lived as an Armored Titan that seems impervious to their weapons crashes through Wall Maria.

"Does that mean...we'll never be able to go home again?" Katrina mutters with a frown.

"Mom's gone...I'm never gonna see her again." Eren says with tears in his eyes, "Why is this happening to us? Is it because humans are weak? Is crying the only thing the weak can do?"

Aya holds Eren's hand and says, "Eren..."

"I'm going to destroy them! Every last one of these animals that's on this earth!" Eren yells.

"We'll join you." Odom says, "For my father and Shiganshina District, we will eliminate all of them."

"That's right, you're not alone." Aya says, and it causes Eren to smile at his friends.

A few days later, the group of seven is in the shelter, it is midnight as Grisha shakes Eren, Mikasa, Katrina, Aya, Peter, and Odom awake.

"Dad?" Eren and Katrina are glad to see that their father is safe, but they start to tear up, "Dad...Mother...a rock wreaked our house...and a titan..."

"I know." Grisha says, "That's why I need all six of you to come with me."

"Why not Armin too?" Peter asks, "And where are you going to take us?"

"Just stop talking and come with us, we can't let anyone notice us." Grisha says.

The six of them then arrive at the forest, and much to their surprise, three adults are waiting for them there, Peter's Mother: Janette Fischer. Odom's father: Wade Wolff, and Eren and Katrina's mother: Carla Yaegar.

"Mom? Is that you?" Eren and Katrina can't hide their shock as they hug their mother. Tears are forming in their eyes and Eren says, "Mom! You're still alive! We thought... you were going to die..."

"I'm sorry." Carla says. "The titan didn't kill me, and sadly, I didn't kill the titan as well, I just found a chance to get out of its mouth."

"You were able to get out of the Titan's mouth? How did you do it?" Mikasa asks.

"Now, children. We're here because we have something that needs to tell you and you can never tell anyone unless you trust the person with your life until the time is right. Promise us." Grisha says.

"We promise you." Eren says and the others also nod.

Much to their surprise, a story is what they are telling them. Grisha says, "You see, I come from beyond the walls, where humanity enjoys a refined existence."

Then he starts to talk about a girl named Ymir, who is the founder and the first titan, the great Titan war, how Marley treated the Eldians across the sea, and what King Fritz did to people in the walls.

Then he also talked about himself, how he has another wife and another son, much to the surprise of both Eren and Katrina, they are shocked to learn they have another brother, however, they were also angry at the fact that their brother betrayed his parents, forcing Grisha's first wife to become a titan.

"So all this time...you mean those Titans were people like us?" Aya asks in horror. "And does that mean all of us can turn into Titans as well?"

"Sad to say that it's the truth." Janette says. "I still remember how Marley injected every one of them... they laughed while mocking us when they've done that... "

Grisha says, "I was next in line with Janette, Wade, and even your mother, Sarah Neumann. He was about to push me off the wall when we met the Owl, the Shark, and the Eagle. They kill off all the other Marley's men before giving us a second chance in life. And when I entered the walls, it didn't take long for me to meet your mother and have you two."

"I see..." Katrina says as both she and Eren hug their father, they can't believe what their father had suffered.

"So that also means my Mom met Dad on this island instead of Marley..." Aya frowns a little.

"And so is my Dad or Odom's Mom." Peter adds.

Carla says, "Eren, Katrina, Aya, Peter, Odom. There is something that we also need to tell you: The true reason why we don't want you to join the military."

"What do you mean the true reason?" Katrina asks.

Then they tell them what they've done at the Reiss Chapel and how the King refuses to save his own people. How they have to steal the Founding Titan and kill the other Reiss family members.

"So all this time, the government knows the truth and they only care for their own wealth instead of the people?" Odom says as the other four children are angry. "And that's how Armin's parents were killed?"

Grisha says, "All of you are the true royal descendants of the 12 Titans. And since the Tybur Family betrayed Eldia, your goal is to find the other 7 royal descendants of the true Titan families, along with the Ackerman Family and the Neumann Family, and end the world with this cycle of hatred. Even if it means using the weapon known as the Rumbling."

This causes everyone to gasp in horror, Mikasa says, "But activating the Rumbling means great genocide..."

"Yes, we are aware of it. However, after seeing the misery and pain, I think it will be better to end it all." Wade says. "To reach our goal, I want all of you to inherit our Titans."

"Inherit your Titans?" This causes the six of them to gasp in shock. Carla takes out four serums. "Eren, Katrina, Peter, Odom. After we inject these into your bodies, you will become titans. And that's why we need you four to eat us."

"Eat you? What are you talking about? Didn't you just tell us that the Curse is of no use to you? Why are you still wanting us to devour you?"

"We can't wait until the next morning because we killed the true king's children and the queen. They will send the Military to us and probably lead us to the same fate as Armin's parents. It will be better if we die in your hands instead. If you want to save Mikasa, Aya, and those who you care for, you must learn to control these abilities!"

"But Mom/Dad!" Before they can protest, Grisha, Wade, Jenette, and Carla each grab a serum and inject it into Eren, Katrina, Peter, and Odom's arms, causing them to scream in pain. Aya can only watch in shock as four of her friends are starting to transform into Titans. Grisha says, "Aya, Mikasa. Make sure to keep them safe and sound."

Then much to the two girls' horror, the four adults are eaten by the four titans, and much to her surprise, the four of them suddenly fall to the ground, and Eren, Katrina, Peter, and Odom are returned to normal.

"Eren! Peter! Odom! Katrina!" Aya rushes towards Eren and tries to wake him up, but just then, Aya feels a surge of electricity going into her body.

"W-what was that?" Aya wonders, and it is then, Eren, Katrina, Peter, and Odom wake up and they are holding their heads. "What...where..."

After learning from Mikasa and Aya about the truth, they are about to tear up. "We ate... our parents..."

"But I can still feel them in our hearts..." Odom mutters. Then all of them are feeling headaches, and Mikasa asks, "Are you guys alright?"

"The power of the 12 Titans..." Eren mutters. "You guys have the same memory, right?"

"Yeah...according to my mother's memories...there are a total of 12 intelligence titans. The Founding Titan, the Armored Titan, the Attack Titan, the Beast Titan, the Cart Titan, the Colossus Titan, the Female Titan, the Jaw Titan, the War Hammer Titan, the Ocean Titan, the Weather Titan, and the Sky Titan..." Katrina says.

"The one who destroyed Wall Maria must be the Colossus Titan, and the one we saw when we were on the ship was the Armored Titan...that means the attack was planned by Marley!" Peter says.

"Unforgivable...just because of what our ancestors did..." Eren grits his teeth. "But that means Dad was the Attack Titan and Mom was the Weather Titan..."

Katrina says, "Peter's mother is the Ocean Titan, and Odom's father was the Sky Titan. And according to the memories... Mom also had the Fritz blood inside her because of grandma and she used to be the Survey Corps Commander as well..."

"Seriously?" Aya asks. "She never mentioned anything like that before..."

Peter says, "Eren... have you felt the Vow of Renouncing War affecting you?"

Eren says, "To be honest... I don't feel like being controlled... I think my Dad must have broken the vow with the help of Mom... I think if I can control this power, I probably can wake up the Titans in the walls..."

"But are we really going with your parents' plan to activate this Rumbling and kill everyone else on this planet?" Mikasa says with a frown.

"I think our first goal is to reunite the 11 families." Eren says, "And I'm sure that the Founding Titan can recognize any of them."

But their tiredness caused them to be unable to move, and the next thing they knew, they are already at the refuge camp where they were staying.

The next day, all they get from the food rations are bread, and Armin says, "I don't think there's enough food for everyone. They say that's all we'll get today."

"Can't blame them, there are too many refugees." Peter says. "And there isn't enough food, to begin with. You know, the farther out you live, the less they care, right?"

Just then, they notice how the soldiers are unwilling to give food to the refugees and also state how they should be fed to the titans, this causes Eren and Aya to get angry as they walk towards the soldiers, kicking the soldiers.

"What are you doing, stupid kids!" Before the soldier can fight back, they dodge the attack and slams them to the ground, much to everyone's shock.

"You've no idea! You have never even seen it! You've never seen the way they eat people..." Aya yells.

"Shut up!" Before they can get back up and punch them, Armin rushes forward and says, "I'm sorry! They're just upset because they're hungry. That's why they're being so rude to an adult."

"Geez...you guys have been dead without us! You kids ought to show some gratitude!" The soldier says.

After they leave, Katrina glares, "No guy like that's going to look after us."

"I agree. He's rude." Peter says. "That's why we really need to get back to Wall Maria and kill our enemies."

"You guys aren't serious, are you?" Armin notices the faces that the five of them are showing.

"We're not like them!" Odom says. "Sitting inside the walls and acting tough, who wants to be like those people? We can't win until we can stop depending on stuff from them!"

"But we can't beat the Titans! There's nothing we can do but live within the walls." Armin says. "If you do something dumb, you'll die as well! Like our parents!"

"So we should suck up to them instead?" Eren asks. "Aren't you ashamed?"

"But we don't have any choices!" Armin says.

"That is just an excuse! If you think like that, then you should spend the rest of your life as a cattle!" Katrina says. "Weakling!"

Just then, Mikasa punches all five of them, Eren, Aya, Katrina, Peter, and Odom, all five of them are on the ground. "Mikasa?" Armin is surprised.

"If Armin is a weakling, so are we. We didn't even run from the Titans or from the city on our own two feet." Mikasa says. "We couldn't even get the food we're eating today without help. Anyone so weak couldn't possibly defeat a single Titan...What matters is survival. Just like your mother said."

"You're right..." Eren mutters while continuing to have their bread to eat.

Here is a new chapter, and I reveal the 12 titans of this fanfic. I made a lot of changes such as Carla also being a part of the Reiss Family, the backstory will be revealed. And there will be a huge change in the story and I hope you like it.
