Jack and his group leave CTU and return to Jack and Audrey's house. There's still about an hour until sunset, and it is expected to be a warm summer night. It's not too late to salvage some of the barbeque, maybe watch a baseball game tonight. Jack hates to admit this, but he wonders if Mason was right. Kim can keep little Teri home tomorrow, no doubt other parents will do the same, but not everyone. If Alqueda or some other terrorist group were planning to hit elementary schools tomorrow, maybe CTU would be able to stop them, maybe not.

The American embassy is preparing for the assault. Maureen Kingsley is reporting on this.
.
Kingsley: In the last half hour the embassy has been on high alert. It is unclear at this time if they have knowledge of a specific attack, or if this is merely a precaution. Colonel Mcnamara is unavailable for comment on this.

Among those watching Maureen Kingsley's reporting is Razi. The American's are more prepared for this than he anticipated, this will be more difficult than he hoped. Still, his allies have provided his team with an escape route, and once he has the list of traitors he will be able to establish his power base. It is risky, but he has no choice at this point.

Rudy and Mike meet with their contact, a man who calls himself "Jones." Jones hands Mike a backpack and a cellphone.
.
Mike: What's this?
Jones: A bomb. Just dial 88, and press send. Then the bomb goes off, so don't be around when you do it.
Mike: Got it.
Jones: You do this well, and you might have a place in the white revolution.
Rudy: Just go to the bathroom when you do it, send from the stall. Everyone will just think you were lucky, but Bianca and her baby weren't. Also, say you were traumatized by the whole thing, and don't go to school tomorrow.
Mike: So I'm lucky twice in two days?
Rudy: Something like that.
