Eric Carter and his team are preparing to assault the local office building. Analysis says the sniper shot likely came from this building, specifically the 9th floor. Local traffic cameras suggest that the lights were on in one particular room for at least ten minutes before the shot was fired. It's night, this building should be mostly empty. It might have just been a cleaning person, but it would be a strange coincidence. Jack wants to be part of this assault.

Jack: You said it yourself Jack, you need all the help you can get.
Eric: You sure you can handle it, at your age?
Jack: I know I'm getting older, but I can handle myself.
Eric: Okay. Put on a kevlar vest and let's get moving.

At their apartment Georgia orders a couple of pizzas for the group. It will probably be the last meal any of them ever have. They might have seperate motives, but they are all determined to strike a blow against the americans.

Rudy: Do you have any beer?
Layeq: My religion forbids alcohol, but we can get some for you two.
Heather: What about Georgia?
Georgia: I don't drink often, but maybe for this special occasion.
Heather: Rudy, can I speak with you, privately?

These two went to the next room to talk.

Rudy: What is it?
Heather: I don't feel safe here.
Rudy: What do you mean?
Heather: A muslim man and a homosexual chid molester. They won't drink but they're encouraging me to. They want to take advantage of me before tomorrow.
Rudy: You're being paranoid. Besides, we'll all be dead in about twelve hours.

At the White House residential area the first gentleman, Rod Calloway, is watching the news. He is well aware of the threat to schools tomorrow, and thus his own children will be staying home. It is at this point that his son Horace comes to see him.

Horace: Hey dad, can I talk to you?
Rod: Ofcourse son. But if it's about tomorrow, I do expect you to study on this unexpected day off.
Horace: It's something else. Remember about three months ago, you helped me impress Karen?
Rod: Yes, why?
Horace: There's something you and mom need to know.

Eric Carter and his team enter the office building as covertly as possible. They reach the 9th floor, to the only room that seems occupied. There they encounter Miguel, and on the opposite side of the room is a high powered sniper rifle. Miguel offers no resistance and surrenders. He also confesses immediately to Mike's murder. Jack and Eric are relieved to have captured the suspect with no trouble, it seems to good to be true. Their collective experience has taught them that when something seems too good to be true it usually is.
