Jack Bauer begins searching the jungle for Nina's location. If she's nearby she likely heard the plane landing, and it's only a matter of time before someone finds it, so he needs to find Nina quickly.

Eric Carter and Teddy leave CTU. Eric knows it's a risk, but Jones clearly has intel that might actually stop the next terrorist attack. And Eric believes that Teddy genuinely wants to make up for what he did, to reclaim some version of his honor.

At the apartment Heather goes to the bathroom and covertly calls one of Rudy's contacts, a senior woman named Pat. Pat was a religious fanatic, not a nazi but definitely a little racist. Heather and Pat had met a few times, and she was likely a part of tomorrow's operation.

Pat: What is it Heather?
Heather: Did you get a message, about a delay in tomorrow's operation?
Pat: No. Why?
Heather: Rudy brought me to some people. One's an arab muslim, the other's a homosexual child molestor. Now they say there's a delay and we might have to stay here. I think they're trying to take advantage of me.
Pat: You don't deserve to be violated by those perverts. Tell me where you are and I'll come pick you up.
Heather: Thank you.

Horace arrives back at the White House, his sister Rebecca is there to greet him.

Rebecca: How'd it go with Karen?
Horace: She's scared of what might happen next. Karen got angry, told me to leave. I think she just needs to calm down. I will be there for her this time, however she needs.

Karen's parents arrive home. They turn on the lights, and find their daughter's dead body, with the gun in her hand.
