Pat briefed Heather on the plan. Since Pat worked at this movie theatre she would just enter wearing her uniform, even if she wasn't on the schedule for tonight other employees might assume someone asked her to cover their shift. Heather simply had to buy a ticket. Pat told Heather why she hated "the Gorgostone." Her son had played the game, and he committed suicide. Pat refused to believe that there had been warning signs that she didn't see, or to take responsibility for the fact that she kept a loaded gun in the house. Pat latched on to the religious extremists who claimed that these games introduced children to devil-worship, and became even more fanatical over the years. She realized that people like Gaines were just in this for the money, but for now they were neccessary allies. In her delusion she now had an appropriate target for her anger, and that this sinful world would end very soon, because of her actions. Heather found it surprisingly easy to adapt from Rudy's neo-nazi ideas to Patricia's religious fanaticism. The abuse she'd suffered at the hands of her father, also left her angry and wanting to die, killing as many as possible before her own death.

Georgia bought a ticket for the midnight showing of "the Gorgostone." The ushers informed her that they were still cleaning the theatre, it would be a few more minutes. So Georgia bought a diet soda. She didn't see Pat or Heather, Layeq and Rudy were waiting outside for if she called. This was risky, and it meant the overall plan might have fewer operatives for the attack. But they couldn't take the chance that those two might talk, they had to be eliminated.

At CTU Eric Carter briefs George Mason on the situation with Jones.
.
Eric: The man's a fanatic, he thinks he's doing God's will and that the world will end soon anyway.
Mason: So he feels he has nothing to lose by keeping quiet. We're going to have to do enhanced interrogation.
Eric: You mean torture?
Mason: Call it what you want, pain is the only thing that might loosen his tongue.
Eric: Maybe not. What about sensory depravation, make him think more time has passed. Maybe make Jones think we've already stopped his friends.
Mason: It's worth a shot.

.
Jack finally gets a call from Abraham.
.
Jack: Have you got something for us?
Abraham: Yes. There's a local airstrip, the Salazaar cartel has planes leaving tonight at midnight. They've bribed Cuban military officers for a blind spot for tonight. It's a very short blind spot, they won't stop even if you two are able to stow away. But I guarantee that cartel soldiers will be guarding it, how you get through them, that's up to you.
Jack: I understand Abe, thanks again.
Abraham: Good luck, you're going to need it.
