As J'onn flew Alex to the location Frax had given them Vasquez came over the radio.
"We have imagery and IR sensors looking at the island."
"And?" Alex asked, shouting over the wind resistance.
"Several figures are moving towards the south of the island. There is a building about a mile north of them."
"We'll start with the moving figures." Alex said. "Give us as many directions as you can." She added as J'onn descended onto the island.
As soon as her feet hit the ground Alex pulled her gun and looked for danger. Content they were safe Alex radioed Vasquez and asked.
"Where to?"
As the older Alex and J'onn followed the instructions given by the DEO they carefully looked for traps and security that the images may not have picked up.
"Why here?" J'onn asked.
"No idea." Alex replied. Before they could dwell on it for too long they heard noises coming from the bushes before moments later see the teenager burst through the greenery. The teen then pushed her aunt to the ground, seemingly oblivious to her and kept running.
Seeing what was happening J'onn quickly moved to the teenager and grabbed her from behind. As he did so the teenage thrashed against his grip as the older Alex got to her feet and approached. Even when the older Alex was standing in front of the teenager, the teen still wildly fought against J'onn. Quickly Alex scanned the teen and said. "Damn it. She has been exposed to several types of Kryptonite."
"Plus she doesn't have powers." J'onn said noticing the scrapes that covered the teen.
Knowing they were out of options Alex pulled out a syringe and sedated the teen before hearing J'onn fire his weapon. Looking round she saw two men lying unconscious on the ground. Nodding her thanks at the Martian she tapped her radio and asked.
"How far out are the team?"
"One minute."
"As soon as they land have them search the area. We have no idea where Kara is."
"Yes Ma'am." Vasquez said as Alex looked at J'onn who took hold of the older Alex as well and flew both Alexes to Lena's lab.

"What happened?" Lena asked.
"She's been exposed to several types of Kryptonite and the top collar has green Kryptonite in." Alex said as she collected some tools.
"And the bottom collar?"
"No idea. But we need to get them off." Alex said as she tried to unlock one of them.
"Could they be traps?" Lena asked.
"Already scanned. No bombs and no trackers." Alex said as she kept working on removing them.
"What can I do?" Lena asked.
"Get the antidotes ready. All the results are on the tablet." Alex said as the first collar clicked open. Putting it to one side she got to work on the Kryptonite collar.
"I have a lead box for them." Lena said returning to her side. "And the antidotes." She added as she put the first collar in the box. "Do you want me to clean her wounds?"
"I am hoping when this one is off they will heal." Alex said as she probed the electronics a bit more. Hearing another click she took the collar off and put it in the box. Once the box was sealed Alex and Lena watched the wounds on the teen heal.
"That never gets less weird." Lena said as she she administered the antidotes. "Where's Kara?"
"I don't know. My team are searching the area. But so far no sign."
Seeing the anguish in her friend's face Lena said.
"You did the right thing."
"What do you mean?"
"Bringing Alex back here. It's what Kara would have wanted."
"I know. But it doesn't make me feel any less guilty about abandoning my sister."

Waking Alex remembered she was meant to be running and jumped off the bed searching for escape. But as she made it to the door she felt two hands snake round her body. She immediately started to try to fight off the attacker, but found she couldn't. Despite that she kept struggling until she heard a familiar voice whisper.
"It's me."
Relaxing slightly she looked up and saw her aunt standing in front of her. As she completely stilled the figure behind her released her and she looked round and saw J'onn. Turning back to her aunt she asked.
"Mom? She's hurt and in trouble, you have to help her. They were doing things and I saw her die, but that may have been not real and -"
"Calm, down. I need to check you are okay." The older Alex said calmly.
"Silver Kryptonite." The teen said. "I tried to fight it, but I couldn't."
"It's okay. It's out of your system." Alex explained.
"Where's mom?"
"We don't know.
"You have to save her."
"Do you know where she is?" The older Alex asked.
"No. They took her through a portal. I wanted to go with her, but she told me I had to escape." She said as tears rolled down her face. "But maybe they didn't. I mean I saw her. They killed her. Was that real?"
"Alex, after we found you we found the facility where you were being held and there was no sign of your mom. So I don't think what you saw was real. We'll find her, but first I need to know if you are hurt?"
"No. Just save mom." Seeing her aunt was about to argue the teen said. "I cut my arm but it's healed. I'm fine now. Just please find mom."
"Okay, can you tell us what happened?"
"Won't it be faster if I show you?" The teen asked.
"You up for that?" Alex asked her niece.
"I'll do anything to get mom back." The teen said. "But I can't stop sharing my feelings."
"It's okay." Her aunt said. "If you want to share the memories, I'm okay with that. But lets get you back on the bed."
Once Alex was sitting on the bed the older Alex said when ever you are ready.
"Okay." The teen said before closing her eyes and concentrating.
As the images and feelings flooded the adult Alex's head she felt completely overwhelmed, but tried to remain focused.
Finally the teen stopped sharing her memories and both of them opened their eyes.
"It's okay." The older Alex said pulling her niece in for a hug. "We'll find her. But you need to stay here where it safe."
"Okay." The teen said.
"I'll let you know when we find her." Alex said hugging her niece once more before leaving the room the room with J'onn as Lena stepped in.
"You okay?" Lena asked the teenager.
"No. I feel sick." The teen said.
"That's probably what I gave you to stop the effects of silver Kryptonite." Lena said. "But let's sit you down."

"You okay?" J'onn asked Alex.
"No. But Alex saw the portal address. Can you get me to the DEO?"
"Of course." J'onn said flying her to the command room.
"I have a portal address." Alex announced before writing down what she had seen. "Find out where it leads."
"Yes Ma'am." Harris said.
"Get rescue teams ready." She ordered before walking off.
"Where are you going?" J'onn asked following her.
"The armoury." Alex said entering the secure area and selecting various guns.
"That's a lot of weaponry." J'onn said as Alex took another gun off the rack.
"There is only one way Kara and Alex will be safe, and that's if there isn't anyone left alive." The adult Alex pointed out to J'onn.
"Or if their minds are wiped." J'onn corrected. "We'll make sure they are safe. But Alex, remember you have shared emotions with a teenager, you need to calm yourself."
"I need to find my sister." Alex corrected, pulling another gun from the rack.
"We will." J'onn said. "But we have to be smart."

"Alex." Eliza said entering the room and hugging her granddaughter. "Are you okay?"
"Has Alex found mom yet?" The teen asked, ignoring Eliza's question.
"Not yet. But when she does your mom will need to know if you are ok."
"I'm fine."
"Alex, you have already been brave. Now I need you to be honest. How are you feeling?" Eliza pressed.
"Sick. I thought it was because of the antidote Alex and Lena gave me."
"It probably was, but let's make sure." Eliza said.
"What if they don't find her in time? What if what I saw was real?"
"Alex is doing everything possible to find her." Eliza said hugging her again.

"Ma'am we have a location. The teams are already in the helicopters." Rose said entering the armoury.
"They are that close?" Alex asked surprised a helicopter had the range.
"They are just in range." Harris confirmed.
"Let's go." Alex said to J'onn. "The teams can meet us there."
"Wait." J'onn said. "We should go in as one. If we rush in, they may panic and escape. We know they have portal technology. We need to make sure there are no escape routes. We may only have one shot."
"You're right." Alex said taking a deep breath. "Alex's emotions are overwhelming."
"Take a moment. I liaise with Vasquez." J'onn said.
