"So while in its native form, a blob of slime, it can't do much, but it is still resilient, especially due to the fact it has Kryptonian cells. From what Kara said it helped rebuild her arm." Alex explained to the team assembled round the table.

"So it will still be alive?" Ruby asked.

"We believe so." Alex confirmed.

"The Worldkiller-1 parasite always seeks out the strongest. He is unlikely to form a long term bond with a human, no offence." Alura said.

"But a Kryptonian or a Martian would be a target." Alex said. "Or another Diasporan."

"My guess, and it is just a guess, is it will merge with a Disaporan in order to start the attack on Earth. After that it may attempt to bond with Kara or Clark or J'onn." Alura said.

"I should have stopped it. Or collected it." Alex said regretting her decision to leave the slime in the cave.

"Your priority was Kara and Alex." J'onn reminded her. "Besides Lobo was there. You couldn't have stopped him doing something. What we need to do now is figure out future targets."

"For now Worldkiller-1 is going to be hard to find, so let's focus on the Diasporan's." Alex said. "Thanks to Alura we have information, albeit possibly out of date, on the weaknesses in their ships. But we have reason to believe there are already some on the planet."

"On that note we can confirm, thanks to the data Alura gave us that the alien DNA found on the bodies where Supergirl met Tycho and the molten Kryptonite, was Diasporan."

"What about Frax?" J'onn asked.

"What about him?"

"Could he locate them like he did Kara?"

"Maybe, I'll ask." Alex said. "Or maybe I'll get Kara to ask. Maybe if she helps catch them she'll feel better."

"Hi Lena, Sam." Kara said confused when she saw her friends sitting in her apartment.

"Hi." Lena smiled.

"What's going on?" Kara asked.

"Sorry for breaking in. But it was heavy and we thought that Diz was going to collapse under the weight."

"What weight?" Kara asked.

"Come and see." Lena said. "We thought it might help Alex sleep." She added as she led Kara into the teenage Alex's bedroom.

"But full disclosure we had no idea what we were doing, but the kid in the shop seemed to think they could live together." Sam said pointing to an aquarium.

"Then again he also said it would be easy to carry up stairs and I think Diz might disagree with that." Lena said.

"You didn't have to do this." Kara said. "But thank you. Alex will love it."

"You're welcome." Lena said. "We are going out for a meal before Sam leaves, do you want to come? Alura and Alex are more than welcome."

"Not sure my mom could cope with a night out with you two. Besides we are meeting Frax tonight." Kara replied as the front door opened.

"Hi Alex." Sam greeted the teenager as the trio walked to the lounge.

"Hi. Why are all three of you in my room?" The teen asked.

"Setting up your present." Lena said.

"What present?" The teen said.

"Come and look." Kara said. "Wait, lights first."

"They're already on." The teenager pointed out.

"Precisely they need to be off." Kara said hitting the switch as Alex walked in and saw the large lit aquarium sitting on a table in her room.

"I know how much you like the aquarium, and watching fish." Lena said before Sam cut in.

"And we thought if you had a small one here, it may help you sleep."

"Thanks." Alex said

"You are welcome." Sam smiled.

Alex then looked at her mother and asked. "Did you fly it up here?"

"No." Lena replied for Kara. "We persuaded Diz he wanted to carry it up. He may be regretting helping. It may have been a little heavier than we said it was."

"But that isn't entirely our fault." Sam said.

"We should get going. I'll see you tomorrow." Lena said to Kara.

"And I will see you guys sometime." Sam said hugging both Kara and her daughter.

Once they had gone Kara joined her daughter in front of the aquarium and commented, while looking at the fish.

"Mal looks hungry."

"Mal? You've named them?" Alex asked her mother.

"Well yes. I mean I know they are yours and if you want to rename them you can, but I saw him and it was obvious that he was the rebel leader and hence Mal, and that one has moves so is Wash and that one looks smart so is Simon and that one is so Jayne." Kara listed.

"TV show characters?" Alex guessed.

"It pains me you need to ask." Kara smiled as the front door opened again.

"Hi mom." Kara said walking out to the lounge.

"Is everything okay?" Alura asked.

"It is." Kara said. "Are you still okay meeting Frax tonight?"

"Of course."

"In which case we should get moving." Kara said.

-00-

"Kara, Alex." Frax said approaching them.

"Hi Frax." Alex said.

"Mom, this is Frax. Alex's uncle. Frax, this is my mom." Kara said.

"It is a pleasure to meet you." Alura said.

"Likewise." Frax said before looking back at Kara and saying. "I was getting worried about you."

"Sorry, Lobo has been causing issues." Kara said.

"Lobo? I thought you may have been mad after your last meeting with my parents."

"I was, but I think that was down to a Worldkiller more than your parents."

"I don't understand." Frax said.

"It's a long story." Kara said.

"Oh no." Frax said.

"What?" Kara asked.

"They followed me."

"Who?" Alura asked.

"My parents. I am sorry." Frax said.

"What's wrong with your parents?" Alura asked.

"They're rude to mom." The teenage Alex said.

"If you want to go I will delay them and you can escape." Frax offered.

"I'd like to meet them." Alura said.

"You would?" Kara asked.

"I would." Alura said, her tone suggesting she would not be swayed.

"Okay then." Kara said watching as Frax's parents approach. After some harsh words aimed at Frax they hit a button and reverted to English.

"Who are you?" They asked Alura.

"I am Kara's mother, Alura."

"I see." The man said.

"Kara, Alex, Frax, maybe you could go and buy some of that hot chocolate you like." Alura suggested.

"Um, okay." Kara said as the trio went over to the counter.

"What's going on over there?" Frax asked looking back at the table.

"I don't know." Kara said.

"You do have superhearing." Alex reminded her mother.

"Something tells me my mother would know if I used it." Kara said.

"Alura looks angry." Alex commented.

"Yes she does." Kara said. "That is an expression I thought she only used on Astra."

"Who is Astra?" Frax asked.

"She was my aunt." Kara explained. "She wasn't exactly a rule follower."

"I have never seen my mother look so chastised. I wish I had left a communicator over there." Frax said.

"A little listening couldn't hurt." Kara said just as her mother looked over at her. "Or maybe it could. Let's just buy the drinks."

"What can I get you?" The server asked.

"Tell me, what is the beverage that takes the longest to make?" Frax asked.

"The longest?" The server asked.

"Yes." Frax confirmed.

"They're all pretty similar, but if you wanted the cinnamon swirl heated and iced they take a few minutes and have to be done separately."

"Then six please." He said before seeing Kara and Alex looking at him. "What? Is it that wrong to enjoy watching that scene from afar?"

"No."Alex agreed.

"And can we have six hot chocolates with cream and marshmallows as well?" Kara asked.

"Sure thing." The server said before ringing it up.

-00-

"Here are the drinks." Kara said fifteen minutes later. "And we got some food as well."

"Thank you." Alura said smiling at her daughter.

"While we appreciate the offer. We should go." Frax's mother said. "Goodbye Alex." She added before she left with her husband.

"Bye." Kara said before looking at her mother and asking. "What did you say to them?"

"Only the truth." Alura said before looking at Frax. "I hope I have not caused problems for you."

"Even if you have, it was worth it." Frax said before looking at the food and asking. "What should we do with these?"

"Waste not want not." Kara said.

"Really?" Alex asked her mother.

"What? They're nice." Kara said eating one of them.

"Would they not be easier to eat with utensils?" Alura asked.

"No." Kara said. "Way better with fingers, like pizza."

"I also find this planet's eating habits strange." Frax said to Alura. "But the food does taste both good and deadly."

"Just focus on the good part. Alex worries enough about the deadly part as it is." Kara said finishing her hot chocolate and starting on the next bun.

"How are you finding this planet?" Alura asked.

"Different, but it is worth it to see Alex." Frax said. "Plus, up until recently I was in a different part of the Galaxy to my parents. Until I got here I did not appreciate how refreshing that was."

"I hope we haven't caused you problems." Kara said.

"You haven't." Frax said.

"It is late. We should get home." Alura said. "Why don't I walk Alex back and you can talk to Frax."

"Thanks." Kara said before looking at her daughter and saying. "I'll see you at home."

"Okay." The teen said wondering what was happening.

"It was a pleasure to meet you Frax. I need to return home tomorrow, but I hope to see you soon." Alura said before leaving with Alex.

"Should I be worried?" Frax said.

"I hope not, but we need your help."

"With what?"

"Have you heard of the Diasporans?" Kara asked.

"I don't believe so."

"They are a reptilian race of conquerors. We believe there are some on Earth. We were hoping you could help locate them." Kara said.

"I would need there DNA profile."

"I have it on this disk." Kara said.

"It may take some time to reconfigure my sensors, especially as their DNA will be very different. But I will do what I can."

"Thank you." Kara said.

"Are you okay?" Frax asked.

"I hope so." Kara said.

-00-

"You okay?" Kara asked entering her daughter's room in the early hours.

"Yes." She said sounding tired.

"Why aren't you asleep?"

"I had another nightmare."

"Why didn't you come and get me?"

"I didn't want to wake you or Alura."

"Your sleep is more important than mine." Kara said sitting next to her daughter. "Was it the same nightmare as last night?"

"No. It was from before. When I escaped from Tycho and I saw you die." The teen said.

"We are both okay." Kara said hugging her.

"What if it happens?" Alex asked.

"Why do you think it is going to happen?" Kara asked. "Tycho is contained."

"But what if it did or something else happened to you?"

"No matter what happens to me, you will always have a home here. I know when I was controlled by Worldkiller-1 I said some terrible things. But none of them were true."

"Yes they were. I was a mistake."

"Not being planned, doesn't make you a mistake. You are the best thing to happen to me." Kara said holding her tighter.
