"Hi guys." Kara said cheerfully to the teens and Eliza the next morning before looking at her sister and saying more cooly. "Alex."
"What did you?" The teenage Kara asked her mother.
"Nothing. Much. I just helped her train." The older Alex said.
"Was it like our camping trip?" MJ asked.
"Worse." His aunt said.
"It wasn't that bad." The older Alex said.
"You locked me in a room and kept shooting me." Kara reminded her.
"Alex!" Eliza said.
"It was training. And Kara asked me to help." Alex replied, wondering why she was the bad guy.
"Couldn't you have just broken out?" Diz asked not seeing what the problem was.
"No. It was Supergirl proof." Kara said.
"She has been complaining all morning." J'onn said as Kara took her sister's plate and started eating her pancakes.
"Hey!" Alex protested.
"What? It's your fault I need to eat." Kara shrugged before looking at the teens and asking. "What are you guys up to today? In fact why are you up so early on a Saturday?"
"It's not early." Diz said.
"It is for MJ." The teenage Alex pointed out as she passed some food down to Chewie.
"Full day of gaming to get ready for." MJ shrugged as the teenage Kara asked her mom.
"Are you working today?"
"I am." The older Alex said. "But I should be back for dinner. So hide all the damage before then." She said before looking at her sister and asking. "You coming in?"
"Sure, but no training."
"I don't know why you are sulking. It worked didn't it?" Alex asked before grabbing her keys and leaving with her sister.

"Ma'am, we have figured it out." Harris said as Alex and Supergirl entered the control room.
"From your face I'm not going to like it am I?" Alex asked.
"No ma'am. It's bad." He said leading them to a display before explaining.
"The Jetsons have managed to dig down to where they are hiding and discovered bombs at all locations apart form Alaska. Big bombs. Bombs that are big enough to cause huge issues."
"I thought they were underground." Supergirl said.
"They are. That's the problem. They are all on major fault lines."
"Are they trying to destroy the Earth's core?" Supergirl asked.
"They are not Daleks." Alex pointed out.
"We don't fully know the yield of the bomb." Harris went on. "But we have made some conservative estimates and run some projections of what were to happen if they exploded."
"Nothing good?" Alex guessed.
"No, they would trigger Earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions. And not normal ones, mega ones. The type that are believed to have caused devastation in Egypt during Cleopatra's reign."
"Does Egypt have a volcano?" Supergirl asked surprised.
"No, it is believed it was a volcano in Mexico or Japan that caused the problems. Volcanic ash and gases absorbed the sun and cooled the Earth, which led to drought." He explained. "And it looks like they want to trigger similar explosions."
"So we just get the bombs and stop them?" Supergirl asked.
"Something tells me it won't be that easy." Alex said as Rose called over.
"Ma'am we have a problem. They found Judy." They said pointing to the screen where a reptile was examining the drone moments before the screen lost the feed.
"Poor Judy." Supergirl said.
"What about our other drones?" Alex asked.
"So far okay." Rose said. "No wait Cosmo is gone."
"Stand up every team." Alex ordered. "And send a message to the White House to move the President to safety. We may have just let them know we are onto them."
"Yes Ma'am." Harris said as Vasquez commented.
"That's strange."
"What is?"
"George has been found, but they are carrying it somewhere."
"Where is George?" Alex asked.
"Alaska." Vasquez replied.
"Why do I have a bad feeling?" Alex asked.
"Because you are a natural pessimist?" Supergirl suggested just as George stopped moving and instead the screen filled with one Reptilian who spoke into the camera.
"This is a message for Supergirl." He said looking straight at the camera. "I have missed you."
"Friend of yours?" Alex asked.
"Not that I know of." Supergirl said as the reptilian alien kept talking. "Or have you already forgotten me? Hard to believe especially after we shared everything." The reptile said.
"Worldkiller-1?" Supergirl guessed as she paled.
"Soon this planet will be ours. The weak will be slaughtered and the strong, if they exist, will be our slaves." He said. "But first I must deal with you. I will give you a choice. Meet us as the frozen wastelands. And come alone. Otherwise the one thousand soldiers I have here will rampage through your cities, slaughtering the weak. Which on this planet is everyone. You have one hour." He said before crushing the drone.
"You know it is a trap?" Alex asked her sister.
"Yes, but we can use it. You need time to deactivate those bombs." Kara countered. "I can buy you that."
"Come with me." Alex said leading Kara to a small room. Once inside she shut the door and said. "You aren't ready. Training yesterday was a disaster. If you hold back against them you will lose."
"I know." Kara said. "I'm not planning on losing. Last night and everything leading up to it was because I didn't trust myself."
"And now you magically do?" Alex asked.
"No. But I trust you." Kara said. "If you tell me I am fine then I believe you. But I need your faith."
"You will always have that." Alex said.
"Thank you." Kara said hugging her sister before pulling back. "So we doing this?"
"Fine, but you wait the full hour before going." Alex said. "If you are buying time, might as well buy us as much time as you can."
"Okay." Kara agreed.
"In the mean time we need to move the kids. If this is going to be an invasion, I'd be happier with them locked away."

"Guys, we need to stay here." Alex said to the assembled teens who were waiting for them in Lena's secure lab.
"Why?" MJ asked.
"In short, there's about to be an alien invasion. If we are worrying about you, we can't do our jobs and are more likely to get hurt." Alex said. "So you need to stay put and not break out." She said looking at her niece. "No matter what happens you do not leave."
"I won't." The teen said.
"I love you." Kara said to her daughter pulling her into a hug before she started to speak in Kryptonian. As she did, the older Alex turned to her kids and said.
"Look after each other."
"We will." The teenage Kara said hugging her mother.
As she stepped back and MJ hugged Alex, Diz pulled Kara into his arms to offer support.
"Listen to your grandmother and Lena." Alex said once she had released MJ.
"What about you?" Her daughter asked.
"I'll be behind a desk." Alex assured her before looking over at her sister who was hugging the teenage Alex. Finally Kara released her daughter, said something else in Kryptonian and joined her sister.
"Stay here." The older Alex warned. She then looked at her sister who nodded and the two walked off. The door sealing behind them.
"They'll be okay." Eliza said approaching her grandchildren.

"So what now?" Supergirl asked as she and Alex landed back in the DEO control room.
"We have twenty two minutes to make you as ready as possible and figure out how to stop those bombs."
"Plenty of time." Supergirl smiled, although her worry was evident.
"Ma'am, Frax is here." A DEO Agent said leading the alien towards them.
"Thank you for coming." Alex said.
"Of course, is Alex okay?" He asked.
"She's fine." Kara replied.
"I'm glad." Frax said before guessing. "I assume this has something to do with the scans I sent you."
"In part." Alex said. "There is about to be an invasion. So if you want to leave, now is the time to do it. Once it starts you may not be able to."
"Is Alex staying on Earth?" He asked.
"Yes."
"Then I will stay. I am not a fighter, but I will help anyway I can."
"Are you sure?" Kara asked. "This is not your fight."
"Alex and you are family. And I know Salkor would have done the same."
"Thank you." Kara smiled.
"Okay, let's get you sorted." Alex said to her sister. She then glanced at Frax and said. "I'll be back in a minute."

"I'm here." Supergirl said as she landed at the Alaskan hub. The lack of sunlight already making her feel uneasy.
"Your weakness is your attachment to the weak." A reptilian figure said approaching her. "Without that you would be so strong, so worthy."
"You're wrong. That attachment gives me strength." Supergirl said.
"We shall see. If you are right, you can prove it. If you are wrong you will break or be mine." He said. "The rules are simple. Fight or die. When you are dead the slaughter starts."
Any response Supergirl had was cut off when she saw green gas well up round her, in response her suit immediately deployed a helmet and gloves, protecting her from the Kryptonite gas, but not from the masses of reptilian soldiers that charged at her.
