"Hey mini Supes." Lobo said as he walked through the recently made hole in the wall of the room where the kids were waiting. "Why are you hiding in here? You should be out helping your mom, or don't you know?"
"Know what?"
"This will be fun." He said grinning round his cigar. "We need a box thing. I saw one out there. Come with me."
"No." She said.
"I wasn't asking." He said reaching out to grab her, only to find himself stopped by a forcefield.
"I've got time. Knock yourself out." He said. "It's your mother who will pay the price." He added causing Alex to stop the forcefield. He then grabbed hold of Alex.
"Leave her alone." Diz said.
"Who are you?" Lobo asked confused, releasing Alex and turning to look at the other teens.
"Leave her alone." Diz repeated using his hand to direct Alex to move away from him.
"Don't you know who I am? I'm Lobo as in lethal obliterator of biological something, still working on th-" He said as Diz stared hard at him and concentrated. Moments later Lobo fell to the ground clutching his head.
"You're getting good at that." MJ said.
"Let's go." The teenage Kara said grabbing her cousin's hand and running out of the room as the two teenage boys followed.
"Where are we going?" Diz asked.
"Out of here." Kara said not having a plan. "We have to get Alex away from Lobo." She said just as a laser blast nearly took all their heads off. Ducking they slowly turned and saw Lobo stumbling towards them, holding his blaster out.
"Right now I am seeing double, you want to risk another shot?"
When none of them moved his waved his blaster somewhere between Kara and MJ and said. "Turn on the news." When neither teen move he growled. "Now."
Nodding MJ went to a computer and loaded up a newsfeed that showed Supergirl fighting the reptilian race, her uniform hacked, a blade sticking through her side, and her looking like she was about to collapse.
"She can't win." Lobo said. "But there is one way you could save your mom." Lobo said. "Wear the ring. It will give you unlimited power." He said holding out his other hand that had the red lantern ring rest on his palm. When Alex didn't move he said. "You'd rather your mom dies? You are more like me than I thought." He commented. "You and I will make a great team. We'll frag so many people."
"I'm not in your team." Alex said.
"You will be. In about an hour this planet will be gone. But you and me we'll go kill the universe." He smiled. "Or you can take the ring and save your mom and the three of us will go. I mean I do need a mate. But either way this planet is dead. All you can decide is if you kill your mom or not." He added as Alex focused her anger and directed the energy at the ring, which started glowing in Lobo's hand.
"The ring feeds off anger. All you did was charge it." Lobo laughed. "But you don't have to take it now. Unlike this planet and your mother, we have time." He then pulled out a grenade and removed the pin and looked at the other three.
"You try anything this drops and blows. You all die. Got it? Good. Move." He instructed nodding to one of the side rooms where a containment cell was. "Get in." He added. Once they were inside he pressed a button and a force field trapped them inside and away from Alex.
"Time for some fun mini Supes." He said walking out of the room back to where he thought Alex was. But when he got there she was gone.

Barely able to stand, the world spinning and every part of her aching Kara started to believe she would loose the battle. But then her opponents started to drop to the ground.
"Pretty sure that's not me." Kara said dropping to her knees in exhaustion moments before a burst of yellow light filled the sky, giving her strength.
"Hold on." She heard a familiar voice call. But unable to focus on it she instead looked down at the green blade sticking through her side. With shaky hands she grabbed the handled and pulled it free, weakly tossing it to one side, moments before she felt hands on her shoulder. Looking round she saw her sister.
"Alex?" Kara asked confused.
"I've got you." Alex said. "You're safe."
"Over?" She asked.
"It is for you." Alex said just as Kara passed out.
"Help me get her to the chopper." Alex bellowed to her team just as Vasquez came on the radio.
"We have a problem."
"What now?"
"They disconnected the bombs without triggering a mass explosion."
"How is that a problem?" Alex asked as one of her team picked up Supergirl and ran to the helicopter as another wave of reptiles approach.
"There were other failsafes in place and some of them have started counting down."
"Can't they deactivate them?" Alex asked running to the helicopter as her team covered her.
"Not that easy." Vasquez said.
"Any idea how long?" Alex asked jumping onto the helicopter which started to take off while firing missiles.
"No. But the Flash said the beeps are getting faster."
"That's never a good sign." Alex said as she started concentrating on her sister who was bleeding heavily from her side.

"What does that ring do?" Diz asked his girlfriend.
"Unleashes rage. It will turn Alex into a killer driven by anger." Kara said. "And from what we heard, once it is on it can't come off without killing the wearer."
"So not good then." Diz said. "And Lobo is an immortal psycho."
"Yes." MJ confirmed.
"So we're screwed?" Diz guessed.
"Something like that." Kara said before asking. "Do you think you can mess with the control unit?"
"Mess how?" Diz asked.
"Shake it up."
"Pretty sure my powers don't work on electronics. But I'll try." He said concentrating on the control unit. But after awhile he opened his eyes and asked.
"Well?" The question causing MJ to touch the invisible wall and then recoil as he was zapped.
"Still trapped." He said shaking his hand.
"Let's hope Alex escaped." Kara said before MJ asked.
"What do you think happened to grandma?"
"I don't know. Maybe she is locked up like we are." Kara said as they heard their cousin shout from some distance away. But as time went on the protests got louder until Alex was dragged into the room by Lobo and tossed against the forcefield.

"You okay?" Alex asked her sister.
"No. What's happening?" Kara asked sitting up grabbing her side as she did so.
"Easy, you aren't healing properly."
"I'll be okay. What's happening?"
"The good news is our shield managed to stop most of the fleet and we managed to disconnect all of the bombs"
"And the bad news is."
"They started to count down shortly afterwards. We have disarmed all but two."
"Why not them?"
"Won't disarm."
"Can we fly it into the sun?"
"You can't just throw things into the sun." Alex said.
"Why?"
"What happens if it starts a chain reaction?" Alex asked. "Besides you are in no condition to do anything."
"I'm okay."
"Kara, you haven't healed." Alex repeated. "J'onn and Frax have this."
"Is Alex okay?"
"I think so. I haven't heard anything." Alex said.
"So what is the plan for the bombs?"
"We are hoping to teleport them into the fleet." Alex explained.
"Will that work?"
"Maybe." Alex said not sounding confident as Vasquez came running in.
"Alex we need you in the control room."
"I'll be back." Alex said to her sister before leaving with Vasquez. Not one for sitting still, Kara, clutching her side, got off the bed and followed them.
"We have reconfigured the transport and it should beam the bombs anywhere you want."
"So what's the problem?"
"It may not work, or it may trigger an explosion."
"Anyone have any better ideas?" Alex asked only to be met by a wall of silence.
"Then do it."
"Three, two, one." Frax counted down over the radio.

"You want them to die?" Lobo asked as Alex got to her feet. But before she could say anything Lobo grinned and said. "I do." He then brushed her to one side and walked to the control panel.
"Don't." The teenager said.
"Why?" He asked turning to face her. As he did so he took a flask from his pocket and had a drink. He then offered her the flask. When she shook her head he said. "I think yer need this more than Supes. Then again she's probably dead by now. That's on you. And soon their blood will be on your hands too." He said putting the flask away and turning back to the cell.
"I'll do it." Alex said.
"Alex no!" Her cousin shouted as a wide grin spread across Lobo's face.
"Problem is mini Supes is you need to want it." He said turning back to her.
"I do."
"Nah you don't. Not yet. But you will." He smiled. "This will be so much fun." He said as he held out his hand that held the ring. "Go on, take it."
"Don't." Kara pleaded causing Lobo to turn to her and say.
"You'll be first." He then looked back at Alex and said. "Go on."
Nodding Alex stepped towards him and was about to take the ring when he said.
"But let me warn you, if this fails I will kill everyone you care about. And if your mother has survived I will make her suffer more pain than you could imagine."
Taking the ring Alex looked at it before placing it on her finger. She then shut her eyes and concentrated.
"What's going on?" MJ asked when he saw his cousin drop to her knees as the ring pulsed. As the pulsing got more intense Diz jumped on top of Kara and MJ, hoping to shield them.
