Baratta jennifer - Thank you!
"How are you feeling?" Alex asked when her sister woke up the next morning.
"Am I alive?"
"Yes." Alex said before looking at Steve and asking. "What on Earth did you do to her?"
"We may have had too much sugar." Steve confessed.
"Not sure you can physically give Kara too much sugar." Alex said confused.
"Can you tell the younger Alex that?" Kara asked before Steve explained.
"We wanted to check the sugar theory, we may have over done it."
"I don't know which one of you is worse." Alex said looking from one to the other.
"So can I go?" Kara asked her sister.
"Once I have done some tests." Alex said as Rose entered the room.
"Ma'am Frax has just teleported down, want me to show him here?"
"Sure." Alex said before asking. "How did he seem?"
"Fine."
"Why?" Kara asked once Rose was gone.
"Why what?"
"Why did you ask how he seemed?"
"Frax came by yesterday morning and then acted weird and left." Alex said.
"He did? Weird how?"
"Just weird." Alex shrugged as Frax came into the room.
"Kara, I am glad you are well." Frax greeted.
"Thank you. But are you okay? Alex said you were acting strangely yesterday." Kara said.
"I'm sorry, your ways are not our ways." He said looking at Steve before looking at Kara and adding. "I sometimes forget that. I'm sorry."
"What are you talking about?" Kara asked lost.
"I think he is talking about me." Steve said not understanding what was happening.
"What?" Kara asked still lost.
"In Dakran we join for life. That doesn't end with the death of one." Frax said. "When I saw Alex and Eliza follow that rule, I assumed it was a rule that was followed here. But then I saw you yesterday. It was against our customs and I was conflicted. It felt like a betrayal of Salkor. But our way is not your way. I'm sorry."
"So we're good?" Kara asked, still slightly confused about what was happening.
"If you can forgive me."

As Matt held the sleeping Alex, Kara suddenly appeared in the bedroom. Seeing her he immediately panicked and said.
"We weren't doing anything. She didn't want to be alone." Matt said nervously, the noise waking Alex who sleepily asked.
"Matt?"
"Hey." Kara said from one side.
"Mom!" Alex said sitting up as Kara sat on the side and hugged her.
"Hey, you okay?" Kara asked holding her.
"Me? You were – I thought- "
"Hey, I'm okay." Kara said.
"You were in so much pain."
"It's over now." Kara said holding her tightly as Matt started to get off the bed, only to feel Alex's hand grip his.
"Aren't you angry?" Alex asked pulling back.
"At what?" Kara asked confused.
"The army or whoever it was who made the weapon." Alex said.
"Alex, when you were infected with Red-K, what did you do?"
"Knocked myself out."
"Why?"
"Because I didn't want anyone to get hurt."
"Well, the weapon was the army's way of doing that." Kara pointed out.
"You weren't hurting anyone." Alex said.
"I know. But it is over now." Kara pointed out before looking back at Matt who felt like a fifth wheel, but was held in place by Alex gripping his hand.
"Thank you." Kara smiled at him.
"For what?" He asked confused.
"Looking after Alex."
"Pretty sure you needed more looking after than she did. Are you actually okay?" Matt asked.
"I am now." Kara said as Alex still held her.
"You sure?" Matt asked, doubting it as much as Alex.
"I'm fine." Kara said as the door opened.
"You're alive." A voice called from behind Kara. Releasing her daughter Kara turned and saw Jane approaching.
"Hi Jane." Kara smiled.
"For the record I was talking about Matt, not you." Jane said causing Matt to throw a pillow at his friend. Jane then looked at Kara and asked. "But are you okay?"
"I'm fine." Kara smiled.
"But you did get hurt." Alex said.
"Yes." Kara said.
"Does that mean that Alex is in danger?" Matt asked.
"As well as Molly and every other meta and alien." Kara said. "But the DEO are working on it. And I will do all I can to keep everyone safe until they find a better antidote."
"That's not exactly fair." Jane said. "I mean you nearly died saving National City, then you were almost killed by a leaky government and now you are putting yourself back in harm's way to clean up someone else's mess."
"Well it's the right thing to do." Kara said as they heard footsteps come up the stairs. Moments later Alison came into the room.
"Kara, you're okay." Alison said hugging her.
"I'm fine." Kara said. "But we should probably get back."
"Not until you've eaten something. God knows you need it." Alison said guiding Kara downstairs as Matt grabbed hold of Alex's hand.
"You okay?" He asked.
"No."
"Still angry?" Jane guessed.
"Yes. And a complete disappointment."
"How?"
"You heard mom, she is sorting the mess out, I just want to punch something."
"Seems like a normal reaction to me." Jane said. "Besides, I bet you that if that weapon had been used on you, your mom would be super angry."
"Maybe not important, but has your mom developed a new power?" Matt asked.
"No, why?"
"She kinda appeared in the bedroom. Like Molly."
"Oh, maybe Frax transported her." Alex said.
"Frax?" Matt asked.
"My uncle."
"When you say teleport? You mean like Star Trek?" Jane asked.
"I guess."
"And you haven't mentioned this before because?" Jane questioned. "We are so going to win the robot challenge." She added walking off.

"I'm going to head home." Steve said approaching the older Alex.
"You aren't taking what Frax said seriously?"
"What? Oh no." Steve said.
"Good." Alex smiled before saying. "I'm sorry."
"For what?" Steve asked confused.
"When Kara was suffering mom, Lena and I all did our thing and you were right there and I never stopped to ask you what you thought."
"Kryptonian physiology is not exactly my speciality." Steve reminded her.
"Maybe, but I know how much you care about Kara."
"What matters is Kara is okay."
"It is, but I want you to know that you are part of this family, no matter what Frax was going on about and even if I get focused on Kara and ignore you."
"I appreciate that." Steve smiled.
"I also wanted to say sorry for not thanking you properly."
"For?"
"You saved Kara's life. If you hadn't been there after she was shot-" Alex started, only to feel emotions catch up with her and pausing.
"Hey, she's okay. And I really didn't do very much." Steve said before pulling Alex into an awkward hug. After a few moments Alex pulled away apologising.
"Sorry."
"You have nothing to apologise for." Steve said. "But I think you have some issues to work through. Maybe you should go home and get some rest."
"Probably." Alex agreed.
"Where's you mom?"
"Home, I think. She was going to look after Kara."
"Why don't I drive you home? Seeing Kara is okay will put your mind at rest."
"Thank you, but only if you stay for breakfast, well lunch."
"Sounds good." Steve said. "Wait, did you want me to cook?"
"No, mom wouldn't let me get away with that." Alex smiled.

"Hello Alex." Frax greeted when Kara and Alex beamed onto his ship.
"Frax." She smiled before hugging him.
"How are you feeling?" He asked.
"I'm okay." Alex said. "But starting tomorrow, can you help me more with my powers?"
"Of course I can." He said before looking at Kara and asking. "If you are okay with that?"
"Of course." Kara smiled. "But you can't have her all day, we have so much catching up to do." She said wrapping an arm round her daughter's shoulders.
"Good, I wasn't sure if what happened would cause difficulties." Frax said.
"Of course not." Kara said.
"I'm glad." Frax said before asking. "Want me to transport you down."
"You want to head straight back?" Kara asked her daughter.
"I'd like to see Kara." The teen said.
"Then yes." The older Kara said to Frax.
"I will see you tomorrow." Frax smiled at Alex before pressing a button.
Moments later Alex and Kara appeared in the hallway of the older Alex's house.
"Has something happened with Frax?" The teenage Alex asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Something seemed off."
"Oh, he thought it was strange I was dating Steve. But it's fine."
"You sure?"
"Yes. But more importantly, is Matt scared of me?"
"Um yeah."
"Why? It's me."
"The most powerful person on the planet?" Her daughter replied.
"But it is me." Kara added.
"Yeah, you are like the most protective person there is and you have powers."
"She has you there." Her aunt said walking to the hallway.
"Where's Kara?" The teenage Alex asked her namesake.
"Upstairs with Chewie and the others." Her aunt said.
"I'll see you later." The teen said jogging up the stairs.
"You feeling okay?" The older Alex asked her sister.
"I'm fine." Kara said. "Well a little stressed about all those weapons being out there, not to mention Lex and metas. But I'm okay. How are you doing?"
"Been better." Alex confessed. "And a lot tired." Alex sighed. She then looked at Kara and said. "We'll find him."
"Who?"
"Lex and if he is around still Indomitable and Tycho and anyone else who wants to hurt you."

"Hey." The teenage Alex said walking into the den.
"Welcome back." Martin waved.
"How are you feeling?" Alex asked her cousin.
"I'm fine. Just a little sore. But that can wait, you have so much to tell us." The younger Kara said.
"What do you mean?"
"Umm, meeting Matt's parents, saving his family, your mom meeting his family." Kara listed.
"Them all finding out who you are." MJ chipped in before asking. "What I don't get is your mom can't lie, but kept her identity secret for years. You on the other hand can lie, scarily well, yet you can't hide your identity."

"You okay?" Eliza asked Kara as she came into the kitchen with her sister.
"Just a little tired. How about you?"
"I'm fine." Eliza smiled before hugging her. Pulling away she said. "Make sure you rest. That goes for both of you."
"Thank you for everything you did." Kara said.
"You don't have to thank me." Eliza said as the front door opened and closed moments before Steve walked into the kitchen carrying several boxes.
"I bring pizza and ice cream and pie." Steve said. As he put the boxes down he looked at Kara and asked. "You okay?"
"I'm fine, better for seeing that." Kara smiled.
"And how is the patient?" Steve asked.
"A whole lot less stubborn than her mother." Kara said.
"Like you are one to talk." Alex countered.
"And how is Alex?" Steve asked Kara.
"Right now, she is getting teased by her cousins."
"I'll go rescue her and get them down for dinner." The older Alex said leaving the room.
"I'll set this up next door." Eliza said taking some of the boxes of food to the lounge.
"Thank you." Kara said looking at Steve.
"For what?"
"Alex told me how you checked up on her and offered to get her."
"You don't have to thank me for that." Steve said as he walked towards Kara and asked. "How about you? How are you doing?"
"Better than I was."
"Anything I can do?" He asked pulling her into a hug.
"You've done so much already." Kara said leaning into his chest.
"So you don't want the box of doughnuts hidden in my car?" Steve asked.
"Doughnuts?" Kara asked pulling away.
"Doughnuts." Steve confirmed.
"You're the best." Kara said before kissing him.
"Innocent teens coming through." MJ said entering the kitchen.
"Innocent?" Kara asked amused.
"Martin is, kind of." MJ said as he grabbed some of the pizzas and carried them to the lounge just as J'onn and Lena came into the house.

"I was starting to think you wouldn't come." A man wheezed from the shadows.
"I wanted to make sure no one was watching me." Cam said.
"Were they?"
"No. They have bigger worries than me."
"Their mistake." The man said before asking. "Why did you make contact?"
"I can help." Cam said. "I got what you wanted."
"What's that?" The man wheezed.
"A way to destroy Supergirl." Cam said. "They kept it at L-Corp."
"If it was at L-Corp they'll have an antidote."
"Not for this." Cam said.
"You have my interest." The man said waving to the armed guards to stand down. "Speak."
Nodding Cam reached into his pocket and pulled out a small piece of metal.
"Well?" The man in the shadows demanded.
"When this metal is mixed with chlorine it is toxic to the younger one."
"How toxic?"
"She'd be dead if not for her cousin." Cam said.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"Very interesting." The man wheezed before asking. "How would you like an upgrade?"
- The End (for now?)
